i consider her to be one of my most Evil sets ive done. send her out as lead & substitute, if opponent tries to set up they get blocked and if they try to raise stats it hurtseven more when red card forces them out LOL. next turn will o wisp which burns the target and steals the item at the same time cuz of magician and it is almost ALWAYS leftovers. cripples physical oriented teams or tanks and shit and this lassie can burn through half a team before she gets put down & psychic and flamethrower to avoid her being taunt bait . flamethrower instead of fire blast because of the higher accuracy and more PP compared to fire blast even though fb is her strongest STAB move. if i anticipate like, heatran or something then id switch psychic out for hidden power rock or ground .. timid nature and speed ivs are so good to make sure the sub can get up before taking a hit. my strategy is IMPECCABLE.

Why I think Hobie Brown is 18-20:

Note: this seems to be a highly charged subject for some reason, mostly due to shipping(from what I’ve seen) so it’s important to note this is a head canon, I do not care what your personal head canons are, you do you. The directors said this was up to interpretation so it is.

Let’s start with what we know in the movie for context purposes. Hobie mentions drinking/going to the pub with his mates, normally this would mean 18+ or even 21+, but if you’ve read his comics or have even thought about his character in ATSV for five minutes, you know damn well the man would not care. Nor would his world hold him to those type of laws. So that’s not a super good indicator of age.

Another piece of information that is given in the movie is Hobie says he has been Spider-Man for 3 years. In general, most spider people become Spider-Man in the age range of 14-17, but it is important to note there are exceptions to the rule, like Peni Parker(8) and most versions of Ben Parker(40+).

So, going off of that general rule, we add 3 years to that age range and he ends up at about 17-20. But back to his comics, I believe he gets bit around 15-16. Then we add the three years and we narrow it down to 18-19 for ATSV. An argument could be made for being bit at 17 so that would go to 20, but I struggle to reason anything below 15 or above 18 for him being bit. So I don’t think he could be below 18 or above 20 in ATSV, hence 18-20 age range.

Some people might also add the evidence of that director talking about how his age range is 19/20. But this is mostly a sound bite and not actual proof of anything in my opinion. He was talking about Hobie’s old model when they were designing him, this doesn’t mean that he is not that age though. The directors even go on to later say it’s up to interpretation anyways. I also thought he was in the 17/19 range before this came out, to be clear.
