I'm doing field work again for the summer in North Carolina so I apologize for the lack of Zig and Co. content. My job this field season focuses on finding and atlasing breeding behaviors in any and all breeding birds in the Piedmont region. Here's an adorable fledgling Tufted Titmouse I found today that I only noticed because it was conspicuously hanging on the side of a tree.
I need to take more pictures of the budgies, so in the meantime please enjoy this photo of the flock of pigeons that visits my yard every day for birdseed
