hiiii here's my velvet room attendant minato

ok so this guy's deal is he's akechi's velvet attendant and he does all the fusing and stuff bc yaldy (or nyarly, i haven't decided) decided to give p5's other wild card a botched great value velvet room by ripping minato's still-not-resting soul from the great seal (dw it's still intact) and slapping that into a makeshift human vessel. not only that but this vessel also has a fuckton of other souls shoved into it to allow for fusing and stuff. this man isn't joking when he says he is the compendium

as a result his personality is inconsistent as fuck! one second he's blank-faced minato, the next second he's a Completely Different Guy. he has no idea who he really is and definitely does not have any memories associated with being minato

okok onto design notes--he's a bartender! goro's velvet room is like a bar so victor here's serving up drinks. i thought it'd be cool if a fusion animation was like, mixing a drink together. also i'm sick and tired of people designing velvet attendant versions of the protags and just giving them theo's outfit. enough of that. be more silly with it

Can you draw Makoto as an Ultimate Title of: Ultimate Wild Card?

My own design for him is: He grew a bit taller than his usual height by at least two inches. Which the main difference about his face which is how his hair is now black hair color, which the eyes are also heterochromia style eyes with a slight difference which the left eye is still crimson blue while the right eye however is a whole different story, his right eye is now mix of brown and green with the hazel green on the far half of the eye while the chocolate brown on the closest half of the eye. The clothing looks like a unzipped jacket with a purple butterfly design on the t-shirt with dark indigo jeans and black casual shoes, which on the back of the jacket It has a top hat with a blue flare on the corner bottom of the hat which has both wings on the left and right side design on it.

You can make your own version on what you think on what design will Wild-Card!Makoto were look like if you wish. I'll be happy if you can make two versions of Wild-Card!Makoto with mines and yours designs.

Also for those who don’t know staria and kiyoshi are one of my fanmade oc’s which has its own story in any fandom but for this one it’s called fanmade persona 6 into the shattered glass.

I'm a bit curious on the THH remnant AU

Does Komaru become part of despair or not-? (Considering her brother has been roped into it)

Hi! Glad you’re liking all the remnant stuff! I hope to put out more content for them soon!

So Komaru is definitely not in despair, but there’s probably been some close calls for her tbh. Most of the other remnants (and probably Junko) wanted to use Komaru to push Makoto into despair, probably via execution (kinda like a Chiaki situation), but when they went to go find her she wasn’t anywhere!

The remnants at large, and Makoto, still don’t have any idea where Komaru is or what ended up happening to her.

Of course unbeknownst to them, Syo caught wind of the plans surrounding Komaru and smuggled her away before the others could get to her. She’s been pretty much consistently doing that since. I’ll specify that only Syo knows about Komaru, Toko doesn’t. Syo always makes sure Komaru is hidden again before Toko gets control again.

Circus and I have also been toying around with the idea that Yasahiro also is aware of Komaru. Him and Syo usually travel together when she’s around (Syo thinks he’s funny and Yasahiro likes having her as a bodyguard lol) so logistically he probably is at least vaguely aware of Komaru.

Not that he really cares lol, Yasahiro isn’t stressing about anything related to Makoto still not being fully in despair yet. He had a vision so he knows eventually, it’ll all work out. So even if he did know he’s not going to rat them out lol.

Komaru isn’t going to have a big part in the au tbh, largely in part due to neither Circus or I having watched or played Ultra Despair Girls lol, so we don’t know that much about her. But yeah! Those are the ideas for her so far!

Has anyone else noticed that Akechi is literally the combination of the Phantom Thieves' personal stories? Like he has basically lived through their trauma collectively.

Examples I guess:

Ren: Wild Card, manipulated by god(s) in a game, wronged by the justice system and society

Ryuji: Raised by a poor single mom, forced to endure hardships for her sake, abused by those in power

Ann: social outcast for her birth status, struggles in the entertainment industry

Yusuke: Lost his mother at a young age, placed into an abusive foster home, father figure used him and manipulated him

Makoto: High expectations, no tolerance for failure from those above her, wears a mask over her true self in order to be more "socially acceptable", constantly considered a burden to those who have to care for her

Futaba: blamed for her mother's death, lives with the guilt of her mother's death

Haru: Cartoonishly evil capitalist father

majima, a dirt-poor indentured servant kept in check by an evil stepmother (shimano) and stepsister(s) (sagawa, and you could reach a little and say nishitani is the other one but he's more of a wild card).

he puts on a fake smile and embraces the toiling work in the hopes that one day he will make it out.

but then he gets a chance. a ticket out of his situation. he meets a fairy godmother...wen hai lee (STAY WITH ME OKAY)

the fairy godmother leads him to...the prince!! makoto!!!

other people, like the stepsisters/sagawa, just want to use the prince/makoto for wealth. cinderella/majima is the only one who truly cares for the prince/makoto. but they must part ways too soon, and the prince doesn't even know cinderella's name or what she normally looks like.

Oh, don't mind me, just thinking about how Elizabeth, this aloof, weird, eldritch creature that has decided to look like a human woman while she talks to us mortals, just abandoned her duties to her mysterious godlike master to search for a way to free her wild card, Makoto, from his duties of holding back the God of death.

How this clinically depressed teenager, literally destined to die at the end of his and Elizabeth's contract, wormed his way down to the closest approximation she had to a heart, and touched her so deeply, that she cannot allow his death to stand, and breaks every rule that bound her to search for a way to undo it. How she's still searching, even close to 20 years after his death. And how, despite all evidence to the contrary, one day, I genuinely believe that she'll find it.

That boy truly was a remarkable guest.

hi! want to experience all the highs and lows of IYR/RTG (IF YOU REGRET / RESET THE GAME) but have no idea where to start or what Lyn and I are even going on about? no problem! here's a starter pack/summary post that'll get you up to speed in no time 💫

the tldr is that it's a roleswap AU where Haru is the protag and Ann is the traitor. the "not long enough; need more context" (doesn't roll off the tongue quite like tldr though) is below the read more!!

NOTE: this AU contains spoilers for both vanilla Persona 5 and Persona 5 Royal. you've been warned!

most of the information for the AU is very neatly summed up (and comes with extremely good art by Lyn) in this thread on Lyn's twitter. below is more of a neat recap containing some plot points and stuff that you can use for reference or whatever.

what does IYR/RTG mean?

it means "if you regret, reset the game" and is a lyric from the song Axe to Grind from Persona 5 Strikers! it's a reference to how the roleswap is essentially a 'reset' of the canon game.

how did the AU come about?

two years ago I (Ash) posted a silly tweet about a roleswap AU "but it's just the Thieves put in a randomiser" and Lyn saw traitor!Ann and went wild. anyway two years passed and we're now back working together to make the AU a reality! sort of! we're not Maruki! maybe!

Kawakami now works at Crossroads part-time rather than the maid service. there is no maid service in IYR/RTG.

Crossroads is also the place where Haru winds up spending most of her time due to the high number of confidants there and their lax rules about having birds in the bar

there's also a new waitress at Crossroads called Ren!

Shido is a complete nobody in the AU and is not relevant to the plot at all

the confidants that have been swapped out are either dead (sorry Sae) or they no longer need their confidant chain doing due to the lack of Shido in the AU

Ohya is now having a great time with her reporting partner and probably drinks a somewhat reasonable amount now maybe

Haru's dad is alive and well and still a complete asshole

Ryuji is fine :) stop asking questions about him :)
