Daily Dragons!! Luna~

I don't know why but Luna really spoke to me as a character on a personal level and so when I decided to do a Silkwing I knew it had to be her. The Silkwings have so many kinda weird and interesting anatomy bits to em that I had to figure out; I'm actually *really* happy with how this turned out.

... Okay this is going to take a bit of explaining. Some animations on Youtube reminded me that Pokémon Mystery Dungeon existed, and I decided to pick it up and finally finish it. I grabbed Explorers of Sky because I had heard it was the best written one. It emotionally destroyed me. So in order to help process those feelings, I proceeded to spend a week relearning how to draw Pokémon and, in the process, turned my exploration team into OCs. So meet Team Softpaw, my exploration team!! The Eevee is named Chloe and the Vulpix is Kitt. Idk if I'm gonna draw them more but I am very happy with how they turned out n_n

Another piece done in one day!! First one with an actual background, too; albeit, a much simpler one than normal. Just did a nice, quiet moment. Early morning coffee before taking the train to Canterlot, inspired by Monochromatic's Injuring Eternity. I really like this ship basically entirely thanks to Mono's collective works xD

Was starting to get more comfortable for thsi one and tried something a little bit more dynamic. I'm not entirely happy with everything? The patterning especially is pretty complicated. But I do adore the pose it ended up with!!

What's your face behind the mask? Who are you trying to protect? I had the idea for this piece months ago, but for some reason it was a real struggle for me. I kept on scrapping parts of it and considered giving up, but goddammit I started this and I managed to finish it.

Yes I drew more of these two. I couldn't help it, they're cute!! This time Chloe & Kitt are planning out their day and enjoying a drink at Spinda's Café. I had a lot of fun trying to match the vibe from the game in my own style~ I also vectorized the entire Explorers of Time/Darkness/Sky map for an off angle that is too small to see all of the detail I put into it. Because sometimes brain just does that.

I started watching Tell Your Tale again the other day and was inspired, so have a quick scene redraw!! I really thought that picture was fun. I think I've finally figured out how I like drawing G5 ponies though!! Kinda leaning between the 3D style and pony styles. Think it works well. n_n!! "For you, a thousand times over." This monumental work took me so fucking long. I finished reading The Enchanted Library at the beginning of this month, had this idea shortly afterwards, and then proceeded to work on it for the entire month. THAT HAVING BEEN SAID. I am actually exceedingly  proud of the result. I tried out several new techniques in here in regards to lighting and adding detail and color, and I do think that it actually shows. Second piece in my daily challenge (not counting commissions I can't share)!! This is easily my favorite ship from G5; these two have great chemistry and I really hope we get something before Make Your Mark ends to confirm this.
