I have added you to the tag list for the next one and yes there are so many implications with what the costumes are trying to tell us - the willow tree pattern gave me chills too - they use specific foliage so often and it always makes my head spin because it nearly always ties into either mythology or religion and its just so clever!

for the longest time, i’d fallen into the trap of believing that i didn’t owe anyone anything. that simply choosing to be friends was enough. it was a comfort blanket that i used as a coping mechanism for going through loss.

but then you have interactions with people in public being rude for no reason. trying to talk through issues with friends who aren’t willing to listen. and you think, maybe if we all led with a bit more kindness and compassion and understanding things wouldn’t be so hard.

thinking about how i have such a strange relationship with crying and vulnerability.

anyone who knows me irl would say that i am very much a crier. i cry a lot. but at the same time, i’d say only very VERY few people have seen me cry in the way where i’m being completely vulnerable and can’t control the crying???
