So I was just reading what JK Rowling wrote about Petunia and Vernon Dursley on Wizarding World, and I found this quote -
“Harry would be safe from the vengeance of Lord Voldemort as long as he could call the place where her blood still existed home”
And it got me thinking; my canon for HP, would still work in that case. Because it doesn’t explicitly state how much blood, or who the blood’s from, it just says “where her blood still exists”. Which means, on July 31st 1994, when Harry is finally adopted by Sirius and Remus, he is still protected because his younger sister Willow has already been living with them, having been adopted by Remus in 1992.

After 23 Years + Birthday Post (6)
So I realise that this post is a few days late, but I honestly was not feeling it enough when this needed to be posted, so yeah, anyway, better later than never!
1) Victoire’s 21st birthday. For much of the morning, she was stuck in the bathroom of her and Teddy’s new house, to overwhelmed by morning sickness to do anything more than that. Teddy, a loyal almost-husband, spent his morning doing all he could for her whilst also caring for nine-month-old Celestine. The two then had a quiet lunch together while Celestine napped, and in the afternoon the two met at Shell Cottage to have afternoon tea with Bill, Fleur, Dominic and Louis. As what happened every year, the family then joined the rest of their ever-growing extended family at the Burrow for dinner, where Victoire would also announce publically to them all that she and Teddy were expecting their second child, due that December.
2) 23 Years Later. For everyone in the family, the day is usually a sombre occasion. It hits deepest by far though for Willow. Today marks 23 years since she lost one of her best friends, 23 years since her, at the time, unborn daughter lost the father she would never meet alive (she has met him, of course, Fred having returned to Hogwarts as a ghost when his only child began schooling there). As she does each year, she sits by his grave, Freddie joining her not long before lunch, to pay her own respects to her deceased father. Together, the two women then have lunch together, just the two of them, before Willow goes off on her own again to pay respects to others she has lost; James, Lily, Cedric, Ben - the list goes on. She returns to the Burrow for dinner, to then celebrate her niece’s birthday along with life and her family in general.
And if anyone is curious to know what Willow’s eldest child, Jonah, is doing today, he is, as he has done every year since learning who his biological father is, spitting on the grave of Bartemius Crouch Jr and rejoicing in the knowledge that his own mother had killed him 23 years prior.

Birthday Post (5)
It’s still April 30th somewhere in the world, which means Happy 23rd Birthday to (not so) little Edward Remus Lupin!!
On this day, Teddy is in his recently purchased house with his dear fiance Victoire, and their eight-month-old daughter Celestine.
His day began with birthday snuggles from both Victoire and Celestine, before lunch was had with his parents, along with his younger sisters.
And during dinner, after Celestine had been put to bed, Teddy was told by Victoire that they were expecting their second child. An exciting day for Teddy indeed.

Birthday Post (3)
Happy 61st Birthday to my absolute favourite Harry Potter character, Remus John Lupin!!
Today, Remus is taking a day off online teaching, as requested by his beloved DADA students.
In the morning, two of his children, Lyle (11) and David (12), along with his dear husband Sirius made his favourite breakfast (pancakes) before he was given birthday cuddles by all three along with five-month-old Rhea.
At lunch Dora and Chiara, along with the adult children (Teddy, Hope, Daniel, Michael, Ella and Willow), children-in-law (Victoire, Dominic and George), all the grandchildren (of which I could name all, but will not for the sake of the length of this post) and the singular great-grandchild came to visit, all having a very COVID safe celebration before heading back home.
And once night had arrived and all the children had gone to bed, Sirius, of course, treated his husband with a few glasses of wine and some mildly intoxicated sex (as you do).

@kaithepieman complimented me on my currently in the works Remadora s*x scene and this makes me quite happy because I began writing it at a time of low inspo and honestly thought it sucked.
Real confidence boost there so thanks. If anyone would like to read it, y’all are gonna have to wait a couple weeks until the chapter is posted.
Re-reading though it is pretty good ngl and I’m honestly proud of my newfound talent at writing scenes such as these

Dad!Remus Appreciation Post
So I got into a conversation about this with @kaithepieman last night but Remus John Lupin is by far one of the BEST dads in Harry Potter/Willow-Violet.
So quickly I’ll begin by prefacing that by 2020 Remus has a total of nine children: Willow (adopted; Lily and James’ daughter), Teddy, Hope and Lyle (children he had with Dora), Daniel, Michael and Ella (Sirius’ children that he adopted after they remarried), and David and Rhea (his and Sirius’ adopted children that they adopted in 2020).
As of December 31st 2020 their ages are: 39 (Willow), 22 (Teddy), 21 (Hope), 19 (Daniel, Michael, Ella), 11 (David), 10 (Lyle), two months (Rhea). And Remus loves each and every one of them with every ounce of his heart, and now I’m going to give the overview of just how great of a parent he is.
First and foremost, he lets them be who they want to be, and do what they want to do. In other words, when Lyle, for example, went through all her little experimental phases as a child, Remus was 100% all for whatever she wanted to do, whether that be knitting one day or learning to ride horses the next. He understands the value of letting kids pick and chose and decide what they like and what they don’t, instead of trying to chose for them.
Even when his kids act up, he will ALWAYS listen to them and the reason behind why instead of yelling or getting angry (especially after the incident between himself and Willow in December 1995 which led to her running away for a few very anxiety-filled hours). Why? Because he doesn’t pretend to know what his kids are thinking or feeling. He had that personal experience first hand, for the first time, during 1992/1993 when Willow was suffering from the effects of being abused by Lockhart. He had no clue what was going on, other than that she was behaving a bit strangely sometimes, until she came forward herself in April 1993 about what was going on.
Which brings me to my next point, he never pries unless he feels that something has reached a dangerous level. He allows for his children to take the time they need to be comfortable to speak to him about what’s going on. The only exception to this rule is Lyle, who proved to be a challange during her teenage years, but even then Remus only tried to pry when things became really bad and he was quick to stop before making her too uncomfortable and soon enough she let him in on all her troubles.
Still speaking on bad behaviour, he will always find a compromise that works for him and his child. A good example is when Willow and Harry snuck out of Grimmauld Place for the day. Harry was immediately grounded by Sirius but Remus, even though the situation had been distressing for him, decided it better to compromise because he knows himself that if you try to stop someone from doing something, they’ll just keep doing it (he has Sirius to prove that one for him). Instead Willow was then allowed out every Sunday for an hour in the morning, perhaps longer if others were by her side.
He also speaks to his children as if they were adults - his equals - because he knows, especially after having so many, that children appear to be a lot less mature than what they are. This also creates an equal playing field for the both and he finds it helps when they want to speak to him.
I think one of the biggest things is that he very much advocates for his children to call him out on his own behaviour, if he crosses a line, and more importantly, he is willing to fess up for his mistakes and learn from them.
He’s never one to judge either, and I think that’s one of his best qualities. I think one of the best examples for this was 2020. Teddy and Hope, along with Victoire, all moved back into his cottage (Hope because she didn’t want to be left without assistance; she’s an autistic werewolf, just like her dad, and she needs the help. Teddy and Victoire moved back in because Teddy is very much a daddy’s boy and can’t go a week without seeing Remus). During this time, Victoire was pregnant and Teddy began suffering quite severe anxiety due to the state of the world and the fact that he was about to be a first-time dad and this led to him spending a lot of his nights cuddled up in his father’s bed because the poor kid needed the comfort and stability that Remus seems to give literally anyone. And there was not one judgement made about it, because as a parent he needed to be there for his son.
He is willing to kill and die for all his children. There’s not more explanation needed for that. He just, he’ll do it (as any decent parent would).
All round, Remus is just a realy down to earth, chill dad and I love that. There’s probably a lot more points that can be made, but I’ll stop for now.
I’ll end this by saying, everyone needs to have a parent like Remus, and everyone needs to be a parent like Remus.

Toxic Fandom Members
I apologise in advance if the formatting of this post looks like absolute dogsh*t. I’m posting on my phone instead of my laptop because I have the images on here. Anyway: it’s around 2am and I’m scrolling on IG and I come across this post (comments screenshotted are exchanges between the nice people and the OP):
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
So I have many things to say about this, and I rightfully did, replying in the comments with this: “Really didn’t feel like commenting on this because it’s honest to god a waste of time but this post and quite a few of the comments are actually pretty toxic themselves. We don’t ship because we think the other person will “make them better” or whatever argument you want to try and say. We ship because we see two people and think “that would be a fun story to explore, let’s see what happens, or what could have happened instead”. I understand and respect that you have your own opinion on this, ship who you want to ship, that’s okay!! I’m not fussed!! But what bothers me is when someone tries to, like what this post and a lot of the comments are doing, put someone down or make assumptions about people who ship certain characters. It’s insensitive and hurtful and it drives people apart, and honestly, there’s many people out there who find comfort in these ships and creating stories around them and all their different potential outcomes. TLDR: Please don’t try to force your opinion or bring others down for shipping people together that you don’t like. Everyone is allowed to have their opinion about who they ship, and at the end of the day, it isn’t hurting you, is it? Just let people be happy and ship who they want to ship without judgement.”
And I just wanna say it genuinely pisses me off so much when people sh*t on other people’s ships. Like, please, kindly f*ck off with that behaviour (unless is rightfully done like in the case of a ship that includes a minor and an adult. You have all rights to tell someone off for shipping something like that).
Bottom line is, everyone ships different things, and especially in the HP fandom, everyone has different ideas of what the characters are like to them (again rightfully so because ffs JKR is bullshit at writing meaningful characters. Perhaps that was too salty, it’s almost 3am and I’m tired so I apologise if it was). I mean, sh*t, spoiler alert for one of my WIPs but Lucius Malfoy, in my own canon, is gay. Starnge, I’m aware. He’s also half-veela, but whatever, anyway.
Don’t f*cking bring people down for shipping who they want or having these characters in ways that they’d like to see them changed as far as story goes. For the love of god, just stop being a c*nt to others (apologies for such language but seriously guys, come on). We can ship who we want, and we can have our opinions, but express them in a nice way: don’t bring people down or try to force your ideas onto others. It only creates divide and pain and that’s the last thing we need.
EDIT: Just after I posted this OP deleted my comment. The actual audacity smh 🤦‍♀️

Birthday Post (2)
Happy 41st birthday to one of my favourite redheads, Ronald Bilius Weasley!!
Today for him is most definitely being spent inside as, well, England is in amidst a lockdown. But, on the upside, Rose and Hugo have each pitched in to make both breakfast and lunch for the small family of four, and Hermione has most definitely ended the day with Ron’s favourite dinner and dessert.
Of course, there is also a great many letters in the mail from family and friends, and a great many happy birthday messages that are sent through via zoom call whilst Rose and Hugo are learning their magic from home.

So for those who don’t yet know, I headcanon Willow, Sirius and Draco all as being bilingual, specifically knowing French as their second language as the three grew up in very upper-class households, so it got me thinking.
Now, I think I’ve seen similar headcanons before where Remus gets really into Sirius speaking French, specifically in the bedroom, and I’d say a similar thing goes for George and Willow, not so much for Draco and Harry.
Anyway, George and Remus both end up learning French, or at least a bit of the language, to understand what their respective partners are muttering to them in the bedroom, or even just on a random, every day occurance.
As it turns out, Willow is actually saying everything proper in French, because she’s nice like that, meanwhile, Remus ends up getting in quite a bit of a fuss having learnt that, instead of saying really sweet things, all Sirius has been saying to him in French are such things along the lines of “les dauphins sont-ils réels.”

Approximately ten minutes ago whilst in amidst remaking the extensive family tree I have of the Harry Potter characters from real and personal canon, I created a new character and I have fallen in love with her so much??
So to introduce this character I need to give a bit of context: in my canon Delphini still exists, but Cused Child does not take place because, well, not only do events in my established canon f*ck with that ever happening but it’s just trash all round. I will say one of the only things I take from that book is Delphini meeting Rodolphus Lestrange. And so she does.
Basically, Delphini, taking her oppurtunity in 2020 during lockdown season decides “hey this would be a good time to follow in my father’s footsteps” etc. Wizarding War Three basically although the Ministry, being run by Hermione of course, keeps it all on the down low but in a good way; everyone manages the situation efficiently and no suspicions are raised. In the end Willow murders Delphini (Rodolphus had been killed by this point) and then everyone’s like “cool, the end of the Voldemort bloodline, finally.” Everyone packs up and goes home to celebrate New Years then (because the date is December 31st 2021 at this point) but Willow hangs around the area a bit longer to snoop around wherever they were and soon hears a baby crying.
And here I intoduce to you little Minerva Lestrange (unnamed at birth; the daughter of Delphini and Rodolphus, yes that’s a kinda creepy relationship, but also unsurprising).
Willow immediately takes the baby in and all the family with the exceptions of Harry, George and Remus are all like “Willow this kid is related to Voldemort WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT” and Willlow’s like “well it’s not like she’s born evil, etc” you get the idea.
Anyway Minerva Lestrange, now Minerva Weasley, with her curly black hair and sweet blue eyes ends up becoming the sweetest creature you’d ever laid eyes on and manages to make Minerva McGonagall, her namesake, cry upon meeting her, aged 2 and 9 months, dressed in what the Headmaster usually wears and carrying a little plush cat that looks like her Animagus form.

Harry Potter’s Sister Cliches
Alright so I wanted to look up some cliches and see how they compare, if they exist in my line of fics and if they did, how have I done them justice. All credits to this cliche list go to @/Purplemist14 on Wattpad from the third chapter of ‘Everything Wrong With HARRY POTTER Fanfictions’. I may do some more of these, but we’ll see.
Of course, featuring dearest Willow-Violet Potter along with spoilers for future unreleased books so, you have been warned!!
1. The sister always has red hair and green eyes. Basically the exact replica of Lily.
- Alright, so, I’ll admit, I did fall down the trap of blessing Willow with the red hair and green eyes, and it is mentioned many a time throughout the fics that she looks like her mother BUT here’s a fun fact, if we were to rid her of the red hair, green eyes and obscene amount of freckles, she does actually look quite similar to James, arguably more so than Harry, specifically her smile of all things. In other words, the only reason she looks like her mother is because of the red hair and green eyes. Dye her hair and give her coloured contacts though along with a pair of glasses and she will basically just look like a freckled version of James Potter.
2. Either Harry’s twin, a few months younger or almost a year younger in the rare case.
- Willow is eleven months younger than her brother, although this fits timeline wise. She was also quite obviously an accident - Lily and James wanted another kid, but not during the time they were living in for obvious reasons. Of course she was not told this information, and either way she was loved by her parents and godparents.
3. Either dropped off at an orphanage, taken to Minerva, Remus or Snape, or just completely forgotten about until she starts Hogwarts.
- This is where the first cliche is really broken. Yes, she is initially taken in by Severus (later revealed that this was a plan done by Voldemort, as since discovering the kid existed he was like ‘hey she could turn on everyone she’s supposed to love and serve me’ and so wanted her to be taken in by his most faithful Death Eater) but, contrary to what most fics have, this f*cker abandons her with the only people he knows where to put her and that’s with Lucius and Narcissa Malfoy!! Some people who have not read the series or my previous posts may be confused as to why they would ever even consider taking this half-blooded kid in, but I’ve explained before and will do it again; Narcissa is a mother, she has very maternal instincts which have been seen throughout the main HP series, and Willow, at the time was barely five months old. To add to that she was found practically dead on their doorstep having been left out in the freezing cold with nothing but a thin blanket overnight. Narcissa was prejudiced, most definitely, but completely heartless? No (I mean, she risked her life to save Harry’s life in DH). And she was sure to make Lucius raise Willow the same way they were raising Draco because Narcissa was also a Black; I think she can see well enough and feel well enough what it’s like to be raised different from the other siblings.
She is, upon turning eleven, adopted by Remus but of course, naturally, he is her godfather and therefore rightful guardian, later parent.
4. She has a lightning scar on any other part of her that isn’t her neck, aka, the Girl Who Lived trope.
- Completely eradicated. Voldemort was there to kill Harry, not Willow. It’s as simple as that. Read your canon children or, if you really want to do this trope, please for the love of god develop a suitable plot in which this can take place.
5. Sorted into either Gryffindor or Slytherin.
- Now this one I did use BUT the thing is, the house she was sorted in matches with her personality and traits (Slytherin). So in this case it’s excusable, but if it’s just being done for the hell of it ... yeah, I’m not impressed.
6. Socially more active and is friends with the Trio, the Malfoy gang, the Weasleys and almost the entire school population.
- Guilty as charged, although once again I have done it in a way that makes sense according to canon. She considers Draco a brother because they spent eleven years being raised together; Crabbe and Goyle aren’t even friends of Draco in this fic, as Draco ultimately grew up a little less prejudiced knowing who and what Willow was; yes, Willow is friends with the Weasleys, specifically Fred and George, but none of their relationships are the whole nice straightforward sh*t you read about in every other fic. The three of them have perhaps the most complicated relationship between them ever (toxic to some degrees, sometimes even, especially as the 2WW takes place), something actually realistic that keeps to all of their characters. Now when it comes to the trio, Willow isn’t really friends with either Ron or Hermione?? She was one of Ron’s better mates to begin with, as he was one of the first friends she had, but they drifted apart more as they grew (and also after they broke up because Willow was honestly left pretty heartbroken after that), and Hermione, well, she’s only ever really been a mutual up until Willow’s fifth year and her sixth when they begin to form more of a friendship due to her (Hermione) being so alone all the time, and Willow needing someone that can emotionally support her when need be.
7. Sister nearly always replaces Hermione in the trio.
- Willow barely ever interacts with the trio. I could honestly count all the times they properly interacted on my fingers.
8. Loneliest person alive, if she’s in Slytherin she’s bullied, and nearly always ends up in dangerous situations.
- In the series Willow is never actually alone, although feels that she is during her later teenage years, due to the simple reason that no one can truly understand what she has to put up with (also she does sorta force herself to be allienated from others, due to wanting to protect them and keep them out of harms way). She is bullied, yes, but once again it’s entwined into the canon, and by her fourth year no one f*cks with her because they all know that if they do she will not hesitate to bite back and hard. Now I suppose she does end up in dangerous situations, but once again, it isn’t always, and when she does it fits the canon.
9. Always falls for Draco Malfoy.
- I was guilty of this in the very first drafts, 100% but now that I’ve grown and matured and learnt to understand characters more all I can say is that a) they’re basically siblings (covered in a previous point) and b) you honestly cannot convince me otherwise that Draco is one of the gayest beings in existence. Like you cannot tell me this f*cker isn’t at least a very male-attracted bisexual. You just, you can’t. It’s not possible.
10. Or the other love interest is Cedric Diggory.
- Literally ew. I could not, for the life of me, think of Willow and Cedric as a couple. Best buds? Hell yeah. F*ck buds? No way. They loved each other, sure, but it was purely platonic.
11. Lily’s brain, James’ attitude, brightest witch of her age.
- It is true that Willow has higher-above-average intelligence for someone her age but, here’s the thing, she’s autistic! This is never explicitly mentioned until the eighth book, which partially follows her adult life, but, yes, she’s canonically autistic (as is Remus Lupin, Arthur Weasley and, he isn’t autistic, but James Potter has ADHD). Now when it comes to personality and traits, I’d say she’s a healthy mix of both, but there is also that bit of influence from the Malfoys (she is, to say the least, quite prejudiced towards house-elves, for example). There was also a sub-point about knowing hexes and spells and jinxes which can only be found in restricted books, but both Narcissa and Lucius were quite proud to have a kid as smart as her, and if she wanted to learn something, they just let her, which meant there was a LOT of her reading in the library at the Manor about all of the Dark Arts and objects and such like that.
12. Involved in every major event that takes place in the books, and she always saves the day.
- Once again, guilty as charged, although it all works with the established plot and characters and in her case the later things happen from a different and arguably more entertaining perspective (the perspective of a teenaged, forcbly created Death Eater who’s trying her best to save her friends and family while also not accidentally getting murdered by Voldemort in the process). She also never actually saves Harry. I don’t think there’s ever a time where she saves Harry from anything really, especially not the major things that have been mentioned in the HP series.
13. Minerva gives her a timeturner and she goes back to fall in love with Tom Riddle.
- I’ve never actually seen this cliche before, but oh god if this is one that anyone out there uses, once again, please read the canon; Tom Riddle cannot fall in love, timeturners only work for minutes at a time, not to mention if future Riddle saw MC time would f*ck itself up, and also that is a bit creepy imo (the whole MC with Riddle thing).
14. Hermione and Ginny are made jealous individuals who would do anything to rid the sister.
- No chance this will ever happen, nor has it ever happened. That is very OOC, thank you very much, and you ain’t seeing me take characters OOC unless the canon can make up for it.
15. Ron and Neville are never paid attention to; more or less just desperate crushes.
- While it is true that both Ron and Neville are in relationships with Willow at different times, this serves the plot and their character developments. They are also not forgotten about; Neville is barely mentioned after the break up as neither of the two have the courage to interact with one another again (until after the war where they become friends again) and Ron, as I mentioned, slowly drifts out of Willow’s friend circle, after the break up and as they grow older and develop different personalities.
16. Draco Malfoy is OOC.
- Anyone who has read my so far published books knows that Draco, seemingly is a lot better behaved in my series (which, to a degree he is), but all I have to say for this is that once Harry crushed the dude’s heart to bits in the summer before fifth year, this motherf*cker became one of the biggest d*ckheads you would ever meet. Usually he didn’t mean to be, but the dude lost the love of his life, and of course soon after war shit was happening; basically he was more or less going with the flow of things, but yeah, no, Draco sucked, a lot, in the later WV books. Until after the war and his mental state is a little healthier, but until that point, from age 15 onwards, he was more or less of the asshole you see in the HP series.
17. Severus Snape does not hate her.
- Haha, lol. Snape absolutely despises Willow, because she’s never let him live down the whole ‘leaving her on the doorstep to die’ business and you know, she sees enough of how much of a c*nt he is to other students and she may as well give him a taste of his own medecine.
18. All the professors adore her.
- There is only one, and that is Minerva, but even then that isn’t made a major thing until book four. Aside from that, every professor treats her the same way they treat their other students, as they should.
19. Hagrid is not mentioned, or barely mentioned ever.
- The only reason for this in my series is that he is not pivitol to the main plot. If he was, it would be a different story, but he isn’t, so there is no real need to mention him.
20. Cho Chang is either the best friend or Cedric’s possessive girlfriend.
- Too tired to go further into detail with this, but there is a whole-ass character arc I have for Cho in the series, that abides by canon and plot and character and actually does her justice.
Anyway, this was really fun to do, I think I’ll do some more but we’ll see. I’m tired now - it is sleepy time. Goodnight guys!

Birthday Post (1)
Okay so technically I’ve missed Sirius’ birthday by a whole day but like, I’ve been sick so I have an excuse.
Anyway I just wanted to put it out there that in my own canon, Sirius has awoken on this day to the sounds of his and Remus’ newborn daughter Rhea (named after Regulus) crying for attention, followed by the sounds of Remus’ daughter Lyle and Wolfstar’s recently adopted son David crashing through the bedroom door and dropping the breakfast they had prepared for him all over the floor out of excitement.
Sirius spends his day with his husband and their chaotic children at a local park in the area (masks on, of course) before coming home and 100% crying in bed because ‘Oh My God how did my life ever become this good??’
