look i’m very particular when it comes to angst & it needs to make sense to me so i can enjoy it. now, when it comes to house & wilson i like a particular flavor:

i need house to either reject/deflect/or runaway if wilson confesses purely on the basis that them being in any romantic relationship will be the catalyst to the end of them because (in house’s mind) sure it’d be fun, they already get along so well & work together (sure house has been in love with wilson for most of their friendship) but crossing that final line will change everything. wilson will now be able to see ALL the parts of house that he keeps hidden. wilson will get a taste of true neediness & become a hopeless addict & while house is not a good person (except that he is in his own twisted way & especially for wilson he is) house is going to save wilson from this

i need house’s pretty blues FILLED WITH TEARS, i need him to get mean, to tell wilson “wtf are you doing?” or “get away from me!” i want it to hurt something bad. i need wilson to feel absolutely worthless & angry (i swear i love him i just project too much on him) i need wilson to spend nights wondering what he misread, what delusions did he have with house’s constant flirting, manipulations & jealousy. did he imagine all those stares, those late nights & early mornings & mutual trust & care that’s exclusively theirs?? i need all these awful emotions to build & build until they finally can’t take it anymore & confront each other in a gut wrenching & monumental way that ends in some vile, praise kink filled sloppy sex

house didn’t hate amber because she was annoying or bitchy or taking too much of Wilson’s time. Whether he hated her or not is even up for debate.

I think it’s a kind of guttural moment when house and Wilson are talking about why Wilson likes amber so much. And then house says “you’re sleeping with me”

To me, house hates amber because she is him. She is him in personality and humour, but she’s a woman.

House finally has to realise that, well, Wilson is capable of dating someone with houses personality. It’s just that he doesn’t want to date a man.

It’s this moment of: so it isn’t me, it’s this uncontrollable thing: my gender. This thing I can’t change that’s stopping me from loving you.
