I love fall and winter. I love going out and seeing the bustle of people shopping and reading and chatting with scarves and gloves. I love the cold, dark, gloomy days that are illuminated by the colors of the storefronts. I love the streetlights glowing against the gray sky and orange pumpkins on doorsteps. I love main street being decorated for the season and people talking with friends and family. I love the barren trees and the way you can see your breath in the cold air. I love fall and winter, the seasons that seem so dark and cold, bring me the most warmth and light.
