They say Santa isn’t real and snowmen are just water.

They say toys are immature and halloween is lame.

They say dreams are stupid and believing in them is a shame.

They judge you for finding joy in the little things.

They judge you for being sad about a movie.

They say “It’s not real”

But what is real?

Money is just paper and Land is just grass.

Jobs are just cliques created to keep you distracted and compliant.

If Santa isn’t real, neither is money.

If Books have no meaning, neither do jobs.

Grow up they say, but what they mean is stay compliant.

Do as you’re told. Don’t hope. Don’t dream. Don’t try to manifest a life outside the box.

Stay in the box. The box is safe.

The box is prison.

Go to school. Get a job. Get married. have kids.

Fade away.

Turn into a zombie copy of everyone else and stay unnoticed.

Unnoticed = safe

Different = threat

Grow up they say.
