Todays spell work

Three wishes spell

Very simple, we’ll see how effective it is.

I have three wishes, something about my career, something about my love life and just to have a nice happy Christmas this year.

The red candle is christmas spice, I carved my wish to have a happy christmas in it and sprinkled pink salt in it for pure protection.

The purple candle is lavendar, I carved my love related wish into it and sprinkled cinnamon on it.

The orange candle is mango, I carved my career wish in it and sprinkled a bit of dried basil on there.

I drew out a triangle, wrote my wishes at each tip in a different colour pen (purple for christmas, pink for love and blue for career), and drew one of my personal use sigils in the center. I folded the paper to triangle shape, placed the candles to their corresponding tips and lit them.

May the full moon hear my prayer, may my intentions be carried through the rest of its cycle, may my wishes come true

Update: it worked!

Something I don't see talked about, but just became aware of as I live in the Bible belt now. I've never had to say my religion for my doctor forms before so I just stared at it and wondered what I would put and in the end I just decided to put the religion that encompasses most of my beliefs... so I put Taoist.

I don't know if anyone else uses a similar rule of thumb but aside from the Abrahamic religions and Zorastorism, pretty much every other religion is polytheistic or animist in someway. At least to my knowledge. I have diety names I acknowledge so I feel I'm not agnostic and definitely not atheist so... yeah. Just something I found helpful

Just been thinking a lot about how my beliefs and practices have changed over the years. I like thinking about what has remained consistent and what hasn't. What's stayed consistent has been Hekate. I've been worshipping her since childhood, although I went through a long period in which I forgot about her, and in college, I found her again! I used to feel weird about saying I've had Hekate in my thoughts since I was very little. I still feel weird. I feel like I must seem very dramatic and silly when I say that and like other people will think I'm crazy (I really am a little bit of a wackadoodle but I know that's ok now :D)

I went through a period recently where I was an atheist again-- I was as a teenager-- but I decided to maintain my altar to her anyways this time. I'm really glad I did and continue to do so, even when I don't feel very religious, even when I feel like she's just a symbol in my life.

I like calling this Hekate's quiet corner because whenever I'm in it, there is a sense of silence and stillness that I find soothing and companionable. I like to imagine that her presence is truly like that. Good, quiet company-- I believe there's an epithet which describes her as the silent companion along your life's journey, ever watching, ever supportive on some level. Even if there isn't, that's how I've come to experience her these days. I think my relationship to her is still passionate and important but not in an explosive way or anything really frenzied. I've experienced that kind of devotion to Hekate before and it was both exhilarating and exhausting. I made some really cool paintings because of those feelings and I learned new things, but I'm glad that things have cooled down since then.

I'm still working on getting the beads and charm necessary to make prayer beads for Hekate. For now, my prayer beads are made from the dollar store kids friendship bracelet/necklace kit I got. Not very aesthetically Hekatean but it works and that's all that matters to meeeee

Oh my god. I just realized why forever potion!Zane had that weird flirty moment with Lucinda out of nowhere.
