5 Sigils to Use In Rituals!
If you have been following the blog for a while, you know that I use a LOT of sigils in my craft. I draw them on me, write them down on paper and burn them, write them on windows, on guest checks at the resteraunt (not to harm them, just to make them more generous with their tips)- every aspect of my craft is RIDDLED with sigils. I create them all myself, and have a pretty unique way of doing it.
If you need a review on how I create and activate sigils, click here
Here are 5 sigils that I use a lot:
Ejidisperi
Tumblr media
This sigil means “Banish and Vanish”
Its purpose is to banish something that you need to let go of. Be it a toxic relationship, a bad habit, a cold- any number of things. The intent is to write this down on a piece of paper, activate it by building up energy and then releasing that energy with the incantation (Ejidisperi), and then burn it. The ashes can then be discarded outside (bury it), or used in a spell jar, sachet, etc.
Vericere
Tumblr media
This sigil means “Manifest and bring to fruition”
It’s exactly the oposite of Ejidisperi, though you can use it in much the same way. Whatever you want to bring to fruition, to manifest, use this sigil. Remember, the incantation for this one is Vericere.
Protescu
Tumblr media
This one means “Protect me, shield me”
A powerful protective charm, this sigil is. Write it on your person (be sure to use skin safe ink), or a piece of paper and stick it in a protective sachet. To activate, build energy, focus on protective energies primary, and then release the energy into the sigil with the incantation Protescu
To recharge, which it will sometimes need, just repeast the activation process.
Exsolligo
Tumblr media
“I release what holds me back”
This is a great self-improvement skill. If there is something you’ve been wanting or needing to do, use this in a spell to release whatever it is that is holding you back. Same activation process as all of the others, with the incantation Exsolligo.
Pungotivitá
Tumblr media
“I cleanse myself of negativity”
Write on a piece of paper that you then dissolve into a bath, write it on your favorite bottle of body spray, cologne, or facial toner. You can even burn it in a ritual and use the smoke to cleanse yourself. Activation incantation for this one is Pungtivitá.
All of these sigils are free to use, of course, in your own craft. Let me know if you want to see more! For now, stay safe mi maripositas.

Eiectomorbus- “Banish This Sickness”
This is actually a sigil I created some time ago but, seeing as we’re in the middle of a pandemic, I thought it would come in handy. You can either draw this on your body and use the incantation to activate, or draw it on a piece of paper, use the incantation, and burn it.

And now, we need to activate the sigil.
I use a method that I developed myself based on a few other practices I have seen, and it works really well.
Activating the Sigil
Continuing with our above example, we are going to create an incantation that will activate this sigil.
Most of my incantations, particularly for sigil activation, are derived from Latin. I have found that the flow of words in Latin is particularly powerful in creating spells and incantations.
For this sigil, I will use the Latin word for "happy".
Happy= Gavisus (joyous, rejoicing)
You'll notice, however, that there are several different words in Latin that translate roughly to the same thing in English, so be sure to pick the best possible match.
I am also going to use the word for "create" .
Create= Creo (create, produce)
Now, combine the two words into one.
Creovisus= Create happiness.
However, we are not finished. Now that we have the sigil and the incantation to activate the sigil, we must complete the process by actually activating said sigil.
Place your hand over the sigil you have created and close your eyes. Imagine all of your energy pouring into that sigil, making it almost seem to glow. For me, it helps to visualize this energy as white light flowing from my palm. Once the energy has reached it's peak, speak the incantation clearly and with purpose: Creovisus.
Visualize the sigil bringing to you unabounding joy and happiness. When you are ready, open your eyes.
The sigil is now activated and ready for use.
What do Sigils do?
Sigils can be created and activated to fulfill a number of different duties. Most commonly, sigils are used as a sort of charm, carried with a person (usually the creator) in order to bring about that particular sigils purpose. However, that is certainly not the extent of all that sigils can do!
I have used sigils before as a charm, a taglock for another person in a spell, as the spell itself, in curses, and much much more. As many spells as there are, there are just as many purposes for sigils.
