Style: conchiglia
Color: napoil

I hate how stagnant and repetitive men#s fashion is. Like, in women’s fashion you have this whole spectrum of styles and aesthetics that can be borrowed from ranging from different time periods and subcultures. You also have a much wider variety of expression and color palette so its a lot easier to find something to express yourself.
Men’s mainstream clothing lines are all so boring by comparison. Its all the exact same kinds of clothing articles with little variation between them all in shades of Scab Burgundy, Overcast Navy Blue, Depression Gray, and Turd Brown. You have to go into niche subcultures to find anything interesting and even then women tend to get more preference.
This gets especially bad when you enter the realm of formal dress where the exact same cut of suit is repeated over and over again with an even more limited color palette of neutrals and minimal differences between cuts upheld as completely different even though only someone well versed in clothing design would be able to spot the differnces. By contrast women’s formal wear accomadate a wide variety of cuts, shapes, colors, patterns, and aesthetics. You can find two completely different looking dresses that both count as formal but still allow for individual expression.
I understand that women have their own problems with clothes due to fashion designers often prioritizing The Look over practicality or comfort, but men have the opposite problem where while the clothes are comfortable it often feels like the people who designed the clothes didn’t even try at all. There needs to be a balance of both.
