Repost from @bohlarchitects • Meet the team! Jessica lives and works in Port Jefferson, New York and manages and assists on our projects in New York City, Long Island, and the Hudson Valley. She has worked on a number of projects in the greater New York City area ranging from urban loft renovations to custom modern homes. When Jessica is not making architecture, she designs and makes jewelry and home accessories. The inspirations for Jessica’s home accessories are the custom furniture and cabinetry work that she has designed for Bohl projects as well as other architectural motifs and natural forms. She designs in AutoCAD and the individual parts are cut out on a cnc or laser machine from her drawings. Jessica’s work can be found in museum shops including the National Building Museum, the National Gallery of Art, the Princeton Art Museum, the Renwick Gallery, and the Vessel Shop in Manhattan. JRUM operates with waste-led design(slow factory)—a practice in which a product’s end of life is considered from the beginning of the design process rather than at the end. waste is a core part of the design process for me. this shop update consists of 100% reclaimed and upcycled wood pieces. species included; willow, cedar, zebrawood, manitoba maple, wormy maple, applewood, and walnut. enhancing the existing beauty in the discarded.

The new logo is officially here!🙌🏽 What do you think? When I first create this account, my brand names was AVCreativeCo. A for Alexandra (my first name) and V for Victoria (my middle name). But as I started building my business, website, branding, Etsy, etc. I noticed that I was trying to combine all these elements of who I am into one brand. And that obviously doesn't work for long😅✋🏼 So I decided I needed to create a brand that was an extension of ONE part of me, something that I didn't need to feel TOO attached to (any empaths here?🙋🏻‍♀️) With the help from my wonderfully supportive fiance @josh_brewer96 , we came up with The Kindly Crafted Co. ✨ I'll go into detail why we chose that name specifically but for now here's the main logo! ✨ Now I'm off to finish up this website and open up the Etsy shop.
