When You Sleepily Lay Down In His Lap ~ Day6 Reaction

Sungjin:

A light chuckle escaped from you as a hand tickled against your waist, your eyes flickering up at Sungjin. “Did I tickle?” He innocently asked as he watched you.

Your eyes rolled at the knowing look that was on Sungjin’s face, “you know exactly what you’re doing, you can never just leave me to close my eyes.”

Sungjin’s shoulders shrugged as he continued to joke around with you, “I just thought you’d like for me to hold onto your waist, keep you still so you don’t fall off of my lap.”

“I won’t fall,” you chuckled, “I’m buried in nice and snug against your lap now.”

“Isn’t it better to just be sure Y/N?”

Your head shook back at Sungjin, “if you keep tickling me then you know that I’ll find a way to get you to pay for it, you’ll regret doing this.”

“You would never be able to get revenge on me,” Sungjin challenged, watching your eyes widen at his suggestion.

“Are you really willing to try me though Sungjin?”

“Maybe I’ll move my hand after all.”

Young K:

A slight hum came from you as fingers tangled in with your hair, tugging against you gently. “Sorry, sorry,” Youngkyun stuttered as he played with your hair.

A chuckle came from you as Youngkyun loosened his grip, twirling your hair around. “I thought you said that it would be cosy for me to lay in your lap?”

Youngkyun’s head shook as you messed with him in reply to his apology. “It is cosy, just when I’m careful with your hair. To be fair, it’s not my fault your hair is so much a mess.”

“Hey,” you gasped, “my hair is definitely not a mess, it’s just a little stressed.”

“Not now I’ve taken care of it though.”

You nodded in agreement with Youngkyun, “I guess laying in your lap has its perks, especially when you decide you want to play with my hair.”

“I was supposed to make you sleepy playing with your hair,” Youngkyun admitted, knowing his clumsiness hadn’t quite managed it.

“Maybe if you’re careful I can get some rest.”

“I promise I’ll be more careful now.”

Wonpil:

Your head shook as Wonpil’s hands tapped into his lap, encouraging you to lay down there. “You’re tired, come and lay in my lap so you can rest Y/N.”

You were still apprehensive as Wonpil took a hold of your hand, “I don’t want to get in your way by laying in your lap, you won’t be able to move your legs.”

As you continued to protest, Wonpil decided to take your hand and pull you down so that you were in his lap. “I wouldn’t offer to let you lay in my lap if I was bothered by it silly.”

“You could just be being nice,” you teased, “you might just feel bad for me.”

“I do feel bad that you’re feeling tired.”

You smiled up at Wonpil as you turned to be able to look up at him, “it’s just been a busy day at work, you should know, you have plenty of those too.”

“So, next time I have a busy day, does that mean that I can rest in your lap too?” He questioned, willing you to nod your head in reply.”

“How badly do you want me to agree to that?”

“Honestly, Y/N, you have no idea.”

Dowoon:

Your smile turned up even higher as an arm draped around your waist, glancing up you met the eyes of Dowoon straight away. “Are you comfortable there?”

Your head nodded straight away as you pulled Dowoon’s arm even tighter around your frame, “it’s always comfortable for me whenever I lay down in your lap.”

A nod of the head came from Dowoon as he continued to watch you closely, “are you sure that I can’t get you a cushion or something to rest your head on, make you even cosier?”

“Then I wouldn’t be laying in your lap,” you joked, “it would be a cushion.”

“You might hurt yourself in my lap.”

Your head shook in response to Dowoon, “if I’m uncomfortable then I promise that I’ll tell you so that you can look after me and cuddle me some more.”

“I don’t need you to be uncomfortable for me to cuddle you,” Dowoon assured you, deciding to snuggle down even closer to you.”

“I think that I could get pretty used to this.”

“I think that I could enjoy this too.”

Voicecasting the Debut or Die boys

Part 2- Seon Ahyeon

Next up in the series , we have Seon Ahyeon! He's mostly seen with dance roles, but looking at his status screen, his singing is at a B- with potential to reach A rank.

Personally I think he'd have a light and airy voice, think of the infamous JYP style of half air-half sound, where he'd sound sweet with a breathy tone? He's a soft spoken guy which I feel would flow into his singing style too. Since he trained with an angency presumably, he might've learned some stylistic techniques there as well, but I can't say for sure since he's more dance focused. He'd probably take sub vocalist roles, so mostly verse parts or providing harmonies with the main or lead vocals, though I won't be looking closely at positions for the voice casts. I'll be looking less at vocal technique and more at vocal texture since the airy sound is what I think about most when matching a voice to Ahyeon.

Starting off, my first pick for him is Wonpil of DAY6! His timbre is exactly how I'd imagine Ahyeon's singing voice, it has a tone of sweetness that I think Ahyeon would have. His voice is breathy without it being distracting, and its very melodic, giving a sort of weightless feeling to it. I think you can hear it in his parts in Congratulations. Also Wonpil in this clip specifically is exactly how I think Ahyeon's speaking voice sounds like.

Number two is DEAN, holy fuck when I say this is a close match, I am not lying. I was trying to find examples that weren't just JYP or ex-JYP artists and I really almost forgot this man. His R&B style of singing actually translates really well to the vocal texture I think Ahyeon would have, the sort of crooning that gives the airy feel. He's only number 2 because I think his style of singing is too loose for a kpop singer lol.

Pick number three is Yugyeom from GOT7! lmao we're back with another ex-JYP artist. I think he's got a light voice that sounds airy at points when singing. I think you can hear it best in You Calling My Name or Run Away. Also I know that I'm supposed to be voicecasting but it doesn't hurt that Yugyeom is a fantastic dancer too

this is not surprising to me at all, but wonpil is such an angel. he’s so transparent in the best way possible, every emotion he has is always written on his face. he’s sensitive, kind, and someone who genuinely feels warm. yeah I’m never gonna know him on a personal level but the energy he exudes, the amount of love he has for people and the way he expresses it is real I can be certain of that. the stories about wonpil are exactly ones I’d imagine would be about him like recently, sungjin was talking about the difference between how wonpil and dowoon talks to him on the phone (I’m assuming right now during their enlistment). for dowoon, first of all he never calls, but their talks are borderline just like “did you call because you missed me?” “no?” “okay bye” and the call ends 😭😭😭 but for wonpil, even when they’re on a call for 30 minutes he doesn’t want to hang up. he’ll end it super vague and when sungjin says “um can I go now?” he’ll be like “oh okay” but keep on talking... IS THAT NOT THE MOST WONPILESQUE SHIT EVER??? he’s such a sweetheart and I have no doubt that he shows affection consistently whether it’s subtle or very apparent. wonpil is a one of a kind singer, and he’s never once changed since debut. he’s still as gentle, as lovable, and the most fitting personification of the sun to me.

Lots of Virgo energy (sun and venus in 12th, mercury in 1st). Likely has Virgo dominance

Virgo Sun and Venus in 12th house indicates a shy and quiet personality. Sun is "hidden" in 12th house, which often makes people with this placement very introverted. This placement is said to be very compassionate as well.

Venus in 12th is shy and may have trouble with expressing affection towards others. This is solidified with Venus in Virgo, which is Venus' fall. Venus in Virgo folks are not affectionate. Practical and highly observant, they prefer to show their care through helping and being of service. This is a loyal and service oriented placement.

Sun conjunct Venus is a charming and warm placement. Although he's quiet and introverted, he has no issue being warm and friendly. He's surprisingly approachable. I noticed this when he was on a variety show with SF9's Youngbin and Jaeyoon - I don't think they are close but Dowoon was happily joking with them anyway. even saying he wanted to join their group bc his own hyungs didn't care about him.

Leo moon in 12th is a private placement. Although Leo moons are usually expressive, moon in 12th makes his feelings "hidden". May be detached from it at times. May also fear feeling misunderstood by others, which honestly seems like a Leo moon issue in general.

Mars Libra in 2nd house: Mars in Libra is in detriment. Mars is aggressive while Libra is not. He may be awkward when dealing with conflict/ hard situations, especially considering his very introverted nature.

Jupiter in 4th can mean a good childhood. Even if it was not the best, he will likely put in the work to create a comfortable home.

Saturn in 7th can make Dowoon picky with who he chooses to associate with. It may also result in him marrying late or someone older, if he chooses to do so.

Pluto in 3rd is a deep thinking and investigative placement. Pluto in 3rd has a lot of power in the way they speak and write, often making those with this placement effective communicators.

Dowoon must think a lot...very internalized, especially with Pluto in 3rd and mercury dominance.

Neptune and Uranus in 5th house: Dowoon has a rich inner world, is imaginative and creative. Needs a lot of space and time alone to pursue the things he wants to do.

Virgo risings are down to earth and practical. Studious and practical. Can be quiet at first but can be talkative when you get to know them.
