The last day to see these two before they head to @thetorontozoo and @newzoogb is April 14. The red pandas have completely stolen our hearts, and although we’ll be sad to see them go, we are very happy that as part of the Species Survival Plan, they will be able to begin their new adventures where they can eventually have their own families. Seeing the cubs grow up together is a joy, but we have to remember that not all animals share our human desire to stick close to family as they mature. Red pandas are primarily solitary, except during mating. We wish Ila and Zeya all the best!
