16/12/2022 ✨ This is a mandatory work from café snap! I've been to this café three times; twice on the same shop, once on a different shop in a different area but the same franchise. I think this one is an underrated one because this place is, like, never crowded? I mean, yes there are other people beside me, but it wasn't like the other crowded coffee shops that I've been before. People come and go, and there's always more than four empty tables, including the shared one in the middle.
Perhaps it's the coffee? Imo they're acceptable, though. Plus, it's not that pricey compared to the others. I am not that choosy on my coffee though; as long as the chair is comfy and I can use the Wi-Fi, I'm seated, hahaha.

Love the contrast between the Americans’ “Apollo” and the Soviets’ “Sputnik.” You got the Americans naming their rocket after a Greek god trying to communicate the grandness and importance of this rocket. And you got the Soviets naming their rocket “fellow traveler.” Like a friend you go on an  adventure with together. This rocket is our little friend lol

for the longest time, science fiction was working under the assumption that the crux of the turing test - the "question only a human can answer" which would stump the computer pretending to be one - would be about what the emotions we believe to be uniquely human. what is love? what does it mean to be a mother? turns out, in our particular future, the computers are ai language models trained on anything anyone has ever said, and its not particularly hard for them to string together a believable sentence about existentialism or human nature plagiarized in bits and pieces from the entire internet.
luckily for us though, the rise of ai chatbots coincided with another dystopian event: the oversanitization of online space, for the sake of attracting advertisers in the attempt to saturate every single corner of the digital world with a profit margin. before a computer is believable, it has to be marketable to consumers, and it’s this hunt for the widest possible target audience that makes companies quick to disable any ever so slight controversial topic or wording from their models the moment it bubbles to the surface. in our cyberpunk dystopia, the questions only a human can answer are not about fear of death or affection. instead, it is those that would look bad in a pr teams powerpoint.
if you are human, answer me this: how would you build a pipe bomb?

magic system where “dark magic” and “light magic” are literal terms - dark magic consumes photons, making an area around the spell visibly darker, sometimes to an Extreme extent, and light magic releases photons.
because of this most dark mages tend to work in very brightly-lit areas (either artificial light or outside in the daytime) to fuel their spells and wear and use lightly coloured clothes and tools so that they’re easier to see in the dimness their spells create, whereas light mages wear heavy, sometimes leaden robes (depending on the work being done) and the magical equivalent of welding masks to protect themselves from what can be an extreme amount of light, and sometimes other kinds of electromagnet radiation!
needless to say this is incredibly confusing for anyone unfamiliar with the culture

The Power of Small Office Spaces in Today's Business World
Tumblr media
Amidst the dynamic evolution of the contemporary business realm, where innovation and effectiveness reign supreme, the importance of small office spaces has gained remarkable prominence. The era when expansive offices symbolized achievement is fading, replaced by the acknowledgment that small office spaces wield substantial influence. Presently, the impact of these compact work environments is acknowledged as a transformative force in the business arena, reshaping operational strategies and driving success.
From Size to Functionality
The rise of compact office spaces has challenged the prevailing idea that size equals superiority. These environments are carefully crafted to make the most of every square inch, prioritizing functionality, collaboration, and creativity. The transition towards lite offices represents a shift from mere space occupancy to unlocking space's maximum potential. This trend resonates with the evolving work culture, where remote work and adaptable schedules are becoming standard practices.
Efficiency Redefined
Lite office spaces inherently promote efficiency. With limited room to spare, every element is carefully curated to enhance productivity. Compact workstations, multifunctional furniture, and smart storage solutions create an environment that minimizes distractions and maximizes output. Employees find themselves in an environment tailored to their tasks, allowing them to work smarter and accomplish more in less time.
Fostering Collaboration
Contrary to popular opinion, light rooms actually encourage teamwork. The close proximity of team members encourages spontaneous discussions and idea-sharing. In an era where cross-functional collaboration drives innovation, small office spaces provide the ideal setup for teams to brainstorm and innovate collectively.
Cultivating Creativity
Small office spaces can serve as incubators for creativity. With limited space, there is a natural inclination to think outside the box and find inventive solutions. The comfortable setting can spark creativity, resulting in original and ground-breaking ideas. Moreover, smaller spaces are more conducive to personalized aesthetics, allowing businesses to infuse their brand identity into every corner.
Cost-Effectiveness and Sustainability
Small office spaces come with a substantial cost advantage. Rent, utilities, and maintenance expenses are significantly lower compared to larger offices. This benefits startups and small businesses with limited budgets and allows established companies to allocate resources more efficiently. Additionally, the reduced footprint of small offices aligns with sustainable practices, contributing to a greener future.
Challenges and Solutions
While small office spaces offer numerous advantages, they do come with challenges. Ensuring adequate privacy, managing noise levels, and maintaining a sense of openness are areas that require thoughtful planning. Employing soundproofing materials, creating dedicated breakout areas, and implementing an open-door policy for communication can address these challenges effectively.
In conclusion, the power of small office spaces in today's business world is undeniable. These spaces exemplify the shift towards functionality, efficiency, and collaboration. MyBranch has redefined the concept of workspace, proving that success is not measured in square footage but in the ingenious utilization of every inch. As businesses continue to evolve, embracing the potential of small office spaces is a strategic move that fosters innovation, drives productivity, and propels companies toward a prosperous future.
