You’ve most likely answered this before but what breed exactly is Machete? I’ve been trying to figure it out for a while I’ve thought maybe a saluki but the ears arnt right.

In theory his breed is fictional Podenco Siciliano, but he's not a purebred example. Out of existing dog breeds he looks closest to (and is related to) Ibizan Hound.

But sometimes I see Silken Windhounds that also kind of remind me of him. They just don't have the characteristic bat ears.

So after 20 days of change, anxiety, emotional farewells (my former colleagues are absolute angels 🥹), and pure chaos, all of which would have left me exhausted even without the added physical strain, I now find myself suddenly with some unexpected free time.*

Hopefully I will find the calm to read / write some fics and play around with my graphics tablet a little. Wish me luck.

I have also put part of my farewell present (amazon gift certificate) to good use and finally afforded myself the illustrated hardcover edition of Good Omens.** (Not that I don't love my ancient tattered discoloured 2006 paperback. The pages are still affixed and for the last decade I didn't even have a bathtub to drop it in.)

I think I am prepared for the week end now.

*= which is great now, but will very probably come back later to bite me in the ass, in the form of more stuff to learn crammed into less time, i. e. more panic and anxiety.

Listen I've been watching a lot of movies with Gene Kelly lately and just wanted to dress up Clark as him. Even tho I think Gene Kelly looks more like Bruce or Brucie Wayne.

And if were talking about dance styles as a character study there could be a great case that Gene Kelly's dance style of using his whole body would be much more Bruce than Fred Astaire who Gene is often compared to who's dance style which is more foot-centric.

But Gene Kelly was known for dressing as the everyday man for his time and that's more Clark. Which doesn't matter.

Point being I bet Bruce has watched a lot of Gene Kelly movies with Alfred and you best believe if DC would allow a universe where Bruce could be at least bi he'd have a little bit of a crush on Gene when growing up and seeing his crush in the same atrie well ...
