Owned and operated by *Carl Smith* 37 years carrying the chains! My father passed away this last thanksgiving due to a heart attack that finally took him from this world. He will never be forgotten! I will never miss our middle of the night PD calls. I will never forget the wrecks that pulled us from dinner and held us on the side of the road well into the night. As well as I will never forget all of our AAA calls to Nacogdoches. Even though me and my father didn’t always see eye to eye, well we never saw eye to eye unless we both had chains in our hands. He will be apart of my heart for as long as I live. Not only did our family loose him but the wrecker world lost another operator that dedicated his life to the road. What hurts the most is he will not be able to watch my daughter grow up. He will not be there to tell all the story’s when they are getting old. Dad tell that day that we meet again I want you to know that I love you so much and I will never forget you and I promise my daughter will grow up knowing who her grandpa was! And how great of a man he was. As I sit here in tears I know that you are in a better place not in pain anymore. I know that now you can finally rest easy.
