Why do I like the Festival of Migrations? Because, for a weekend, I feel good, I feel like I belong in a global community of beings and hearts. It is a mosaic of expressions, colors, smiles, energies, sounds, images. For a photographer, it is absolute happiness. I walk around, up and download, I look, I meet, I chat, I listen, I give, I receive. I have no other obligation than to exist and to breathe. Here and there, people pose for me, they freeze and wait for the click of the camera. But often, I shoot on the fly, in spontaneous mode, these are the best portraits. Every other time, I exchange a few words with the person in the picture. It all happens very naturally, without forcing me. How beautiful it is, a plural humanity, when everyone lives and cohabits in peace. Is it an illusion, is it too much to hope that the whole planet looks like this big, colourful and noisy souk that makes us go around the world in 48 hours? I don't care about political dogmas that divide and erect borders. I don't care about leaders who sow hatred and resentment. I don't care about those who put labels on people's foreheads. I don't care about those who stir up fire and blood. En avril 2016 un lanceur d’alerte anonyme fait fuiter les Panama Papers, des millions de documents confidentiels issus du cabinet d'avocats panaméen Mossack Fonseca détaillant des informations sur plus de 214 000 sociétés offshore ainsi que les noms des actionnaires de ces sociétés dont un certain nombre sont des hommes politiques, des membres voire chefs de gouvernement pratiquant l’évasion fiscale. Les différents drapeaux sont ceux des pays concernés. L’affiche reprend les symboles du Panama, la devise officielle « Pro Mundi Beneficio » c’est-à-dire « Pour le bénéfice du monde » ainsi que les armoiries, détournées, transformant les deux bras de terre du canal en deux mains de cols-blanc s’échangeant des billets.
