The World of Dance Network,
Hey, I'm Rachael, I'm 15 years old and from Canada. I have been dancing for 13 years from "Mommy and Me" Ballet all the way to a semi-professional  dance school. I have done ballet from day one, as well as competitive dance - jazz, tap, lyrical, contemporary, modern. Dance has been the one constant thing in my life - I love it more than anything, and I can't imagine a day without it. Dance is where I go if I need an outlet for my feelings; it's a beautiful form of expression.
I want to be in this network to meet some of the people on tumblr who share my love of dance. My blog is not a strictly dance blog, however, I do post pictures of me dancing, as well as reblog anyone else's that I find inspirational and beautiful. I am also in a lot of other networks and therefore have experience, and I also follow back all my followers! I hope that you will accept me in your network!
xx, Rachael

Hello World of Dance Network!
I'm writing this to hopefully tell you guys a bit about me because I hardly have anything on my blog about me :p Im 15 years old, I'm Canadian (which means I'm nice/says sorry a lot) and I'm the oldest child of three!  I've been dancing since I was 3 but it was a kind of an off/on type of thing until i was 11, when I started dancing more intensely.  I dance ballet (+ Pointe), Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, and I'm also on my studios competition team.  I like to say my favorite styles are Ballet and Tap, which are the exact opposite... oops, but what can I say, I like making the most noise possible with my feet.  Anyways, like I said, when I was 11 I started to dance more because (please dont feel pity for me) my brother had been in the hospital a lot because of cancer.  So, like all siblings, I felt ignored... and jealous... and I was angry... and I found that dancing helped me deal with the pain/anger!!  Since then, every year i love dancing even more and I never really expected to become so obsessed/in love with dancing and in particular ballet :p So for the summer I decided to make a ballet blog for me to just see beautiful pictures and appreciate the art form more (cheesy).  I've already learnt about so many new dancers but there was a slight problem...I was reblogging all these photos for me and my veryyyyy few followers. So I've been trying to reach out around the dance/ballet tumblr community and I've checked out your guys' blogs and you seem nice and our blogs have similar styles :)  I hope you consider me for your network!! Sorry if this was long, oops...
-Cleo :)

World of Dance Network!
I'm excited to tackle this because I don't have much about me on my blog :) I've just started this blog, and I'm looking to become more successful as a dance blogger. I've been dancing since I was 3, so I'm about to enter my 13th year as a dancer and I've always been head over heels for it. I take classes in tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical, and pointe. I'm on my studio's company team and have been for five years. My company team travels and usually when we do, we are offered the opportunities to learn different types of dance from several different people. I have taken classes in musical theater, jazz funk, hip hop, contemporary, and many more. Tap is my favorite type of dance with jazz being a close second, although there isn't really a type of dance I have found that I do not enjoy. Sooooo, I would like to thank you for the opportunity to share my story. In conclusion, I would love to be a part of this network in order to share my love with the world via Internet, and hopefully learn more about what I love the most!

The World of Dance Network
Hi!
First of all, ballet is my obsession. I can't live without ballet. Try to become professional ballerina is very hard. Ballet world is very hard. I started ballet at 13 years old and I did contemporary dance. Start ballet as a teenager is very hard but I love it. I think I can help people who started late because I'm also a late begginer like they. I know what they have been trough. I want to be part of the network because I really want to know another dancers and I think help another dancers is wonderful and amazing! I wish to colaborate in a dance network long time ago and I think this is a great oportunity! And I love helping another people and talk to another dancers! This network is great because we (dancers) can share our experiences :)

The World of Dance Network
Hello lovelies! Thought I do not have a dance themed blog, I really really do wish to be apart of this network! I have been dancing since I was 4 and now 12 years later, I still love it! I started with doing strict ballet and then started doing pointe at 9 1/2 until i was 13ish. That's when I fell in love with contemporary/jazz dancing (like the contemporary on 'so you think you can dance') and switched that to my main focus!! I've been on different competing teams and to several dance conventions. Now I've moved to being just independent and started doing pointe again. I would love to be apart of this network to get advice from other dancers/dance lovers and to also give advice to them as we'll! Thanks for considering me!!

Hey, I'm Lauren.
I am writing because I wish to be a part of 'The World of Ballet Network'.  I am 17 years old and began my ballet training at 7 years of age. Since then, I have undertaken lessons of tap, jazz and contemporary. If you would like to read my whole story, you can by clicking here.  I wish to be a part of this network because I love giving and receiving advice. I wish to make new friends, share my personal experiences with them along with helping each other out (with advice, promos, etc). I also feel that this is a good way to promote ballet blogs that are not known so well. As I am close to reaching my 8,000 follower mark, I would love to help out by promoting beautiful ballet blogs so that they can receive the followers they deserve.  Hopefully we'll become closer friends soon. Much love, Lauren x

The World of Dance Network
Hello, My name is Jackie and I just turned 20 years old last month. I am a ballet and tap dancer. I started dancing at the age of 3 and danced until I was 15. I quit dance because I moved to a new country and didn't really know if I wanted to continue or not. I started ballet again and fell in love all over again. It has been a journey quitting after 5 years but I am trying. It is somewhat of a challenge because I gained weight but that is not stopping me from dancing. I also work at a ballet company and see how productions are made and what a professional company does everyday. I made this blog because it inspires me to be a ballerina again and I made it together with my blog where I document my journey of losing weight and starting dance again.
Thank you for your time and happy dancing!
Jackie <3

Hello! My name is Kaitlyn, and this is my dance blog
I would love to join the network because I love to share my love of dance with so many people and just spread the amazing talents of everyone who is involved with dance, I love hearing what everyone has to say and talking with new people and getting opinions and everything else!
I am 16 years old and have been dancing for over a decade, I have taken a passion to Ballet, Jazz and Lyrical. I have tried Hip Hop as well. One of my favorite things about dance is entertaining people, and just being up on stage in general.
I think dance is a gift that should be shared with everyone

Allo allo
This is a side blog to my main one, which is pretty fandom-oriented.  But it's completely ballet.  I'm committed to making this a blog dedicated to beauty, not tricks or flexibility shows.  I only have two followers, but that's ok; we all start somewhere.
I've danced for about, oh, great Scott, 14 years now.  I was an only ballet student up until last year, when I somewhat reluctantly tried modern and jazz (I long ago made a promise to myself:  I'll try any form of dance if it's free, and it was at the time).  To my intense surprise, I loved them.  So now I'll do almost anything except hip-hop.  And I don't think that one's likely to be added to my repertoire!
I recently took my Canadian Cecchetti (so very close to ISTD) Intermediate exam and passed with Highly Commended.
