New place, same fight

Danny loves his friends, they have been with him since they were little and they have experienced too many things together, things that have helped them grow, things that only strengthen their friendship. Because Sam and Tucker were everything to him, as he was everything to them.

But at the same time, Danny could admit that he hated his friends; not always, but there were times where they wouldn't stop fighting, where they forced him to choose. The halfa could understand, Sam and Tucker had different world views, they saw different things and occasionally Danny thought they only got along because of him.

That was okay, he learned to live with them, to be the center of their arguments. And when they moved from Amity to Gotham, when they decided to rent an apartment together and go to the same college (which miraculously had all their majors), he thought everything would be fine.

It was idiotic of him. Because at the time he could only see a repeat of what had happened in high school; Sam was having a protest about the cafeteria menu and Tucker had organized the meat lovers (again), and the halfa knew how it was all going to end.

The point is, Danny was tired of repeating the same cycle, a cycle that apparently included Waylon and Poison Ivy fighting in the cafeteria at his new college (and how the hell did his friends manage to get the Rogues of Gotham into their fights?), so when he saw the people in bat suits he exploded.

When Sam and Tucker turned to ask his opinion he shook his head, pointed at Lunch Lady, who had her arms crossed and decided it wasn't his problem before disappear. Literally, no matter if half of Gotham was calling him meta, he was tired.

Red Robin gawked at him before turning his attention to Lunch Lady, who was gathering all the meat around her to form a giant meat monster. And Danny decided it wasn't his problem.

Apparently, Sam and Tucker decided that the bats could take care of it before they looked worried and started looking for Danny. It became obvious that the bats needed help when Danny looked at a giant meat monster two hours later, the halfa arched an eyebrow in dismay, weren't they supposed to be professional heroes? Lunch wasn't even trying...

my dad's starting to come down with another sickness/infection................................

#:) #unproven but exceedingly likely that my prior covid infection was a major factor in the onset of my life threatening hypertension episode #that and maybe the Horrors putting me into an intensely distressed state that pushed me over the edge #so my dad (who brought in the covid infection that maybe almost killed me) coming down with very similar symptoms again is. worrisome! #extremely high doses of blood pressure medication save me.....save me extremely high doses of blood pressure medication......... #on account of the meds and also the fact i gotta have 3x daily blood pressure readings means that what happened shouldn't happen again #but still. i literally almost died less than three weeks ago. the thought of facing one of the risk factors this soon scares me a little!

So I jsut started watching aot and they wasted no time in making everything go to shit… Eren’s mom died, a lot of the scouts died five years later, Eren died, Mikasa is going through some shit, Armin is traumatized… I think Eren’s that weird titan that shamelessly murdered the other titans but I’m not far enough into the show to know for sure?

yknow my first watch through of rgu I was convinced Nanami was terrible, I love her, but the bitch drowned a kitten in a river! but thinking about it a lot since I finished watching the movie —but I don't think she drowned a kitten at all. I think this memory is one her mind fabricated in a state of trauma and is using this false memory to cope with the truth of no longer having the brother she so wholeheartedly adored, since he drowned attempting to save a girl

#rgu #nanami kiryuu #I've thought about this a healthy amount #and while other interpretations are valid #I just can't in good faith believe she drowned the kitten #even if she does have an incredibly twisted form of adoration for her brother to the point of worrisome over protectiveness #I don't think she'd truly hurt him in that way #plus with the movie being a continuation of the series in the sense that Utena and Anthy both finally escape together #and the black rose arc #it's pretty safe to say that a valid interpretation can say that Touga was a ghost the entirety of the series #and that his death was drowning in a river trying to save a girl named Juri #to me it seems more like symbolism #that Nanami crafted the memory of a drowning a kitten and hurting her brother's feelings with that #as opposed to accepting the reality that he was the one that drowned #and it was her heart broken that day as a result #it also fuels the over protective jealousy she has over Touga #and why she doesn't like even mundane things like sharing an umbrella to happen with another girl #because Touga was once kind to another girl and it cost Nanami her beloved brother

I jump around on the idea of wanting a fursuit or not because it's like, on one hand hehehehohoho bright animal costume go brrrrrrr and on the other hand it's everything that comes with fursuiting - such as the heat that being in a suit like that produces. I'm sensitive to temprature as it can cause my migraines and asthma to flare up but also I'm susceptible to feinting if not careful.

So it's like.... ough it would be so fun to have costume of my little fursona but also I don't know how well I'd handle it.
