im makin travis's belt thang from nmh2 >:). i think the studs on the belt loops look like skulls but i cant find any good skull rivets grrrrr. theyre all way too big. so im using spikes for now. ill replace them with skulls if i ever find good ones.

#excited abt it #unsure how to do the belt loops cause the strips i have need to be half as wide #but theyre woven so if i cut them in half theyll just explode #and theyre cotton so im not sure if burning the ends would work like it would for plastic to seal it #i can just hem the end so it doesnt fray but i dont have a sewing machine so. hemming the end by hand sounds like a nightmare. well see #but yeah smile #diary #nmh

probably I would be more willing to spend time actually arranging the fabric to my liking if I had not spent almost a week embroidering it, but I’m fairly satisfied with how it turned out!

#today's art adventure #unfortunately the pattern is a little too big but we will all just have to live with it #I refuse to start over unless I happen to at some point come across Nicer Fabric perhaps with the Pattern Actually Already Woven In #two notes: will probably rearrange to hide the belt buckle more because it's functional but pretty it is certainly not #and I am Aware that the pin is anachronistic but it looks kind of cute and more importantly hides most of the pins holding this together #next up is coat time! thinking maybe a dark blue faced with darker orange-y brown to sort of tie the outfit together #come to think of it I should probably get started on keith's wig given that it's going to require a fair bit of drying time for the glue
