Despite your enthusiasm and motivation to train and later debut, you were never the textbook trainee or idol in the eyes of your peers.

In some ways you were overlooked, there weren't any major reasons its more that they didn't feel any type of competition forming during the time you spent as trainees. Though this was initially quite disheartening for you it was also a blessing considering it gifted you with the opportunity of rising up and becoming a star trainee and they were none the wiser.

They were the definition of shocked when you were chosen to be the 7th official member of Lunaria. Eleven members sounds like a lot but considering the amount of trainees who you had to out perform it was a feather in your hat so to speak, proof of your time spent as a trainee.

Another thing to note is your "pure" "good-girl" archetype wasn't a role you had to assume once joining Lunaria, you had always been that type trainee, the one who was polite, optimistic and open to improvement.

All in all you were such a genuine example of idols still remaining human in everything that made them great, you have not changed since your pre-debut days and that adds to your charm.

Though this is a epilogue to your days as a trainee I just have to say it again, your personality is extremely consistent throughout your career, some idols experience a change in personality as they grow as a person. For some reason you managed to change and grow in a multitude of ways while being the fun-loving idol who charmed their fans from day one.

At the heart of it you're the happy virus but in retrospect you are way more laidback one who spreads happiness by being a caring and fun-loving person without being particularly hyper. You're the one who just knows how to take care of your other members with abstract knowledge on self-care, whether it be some stellar recipes, knowing how to massage people in just the right way or just generally knowing ways to chill everyone out. Rather than being the mom of the group you're like the cool cousin.

This has nothing to do with your actual personality or your performances but you're literally the groups fashion icon with your cottagecore/vintage look. Though your company often makes your stage outfits a bit more flashy they still take enough care to allow you to be the vintage 'Modest Hollywood' type of idol.

Something that makes your character so intriguing to your fans is the duality you have, which you show in later years of your career. You are generally predictable and comfortable, people know what they will get from you in terms of personality and how well you perform. But you do have a more serious, competitive side that adds to your intrigue.

If there is anyone in the idol-verse who has the MOST love and care and respect and all around loving energy towards you it is Yuta. Though you seem like complete polar opposites there is a deep mutual connection that Yuta hardly feels when he is around other people.

There is something that's reminiscent of a princess and her knight but in a platonic sense. Yuta is aware of how quiet and reserved you tend to be and that's what kicks his whole protective friend schtick into overdrive. He still remains relatively laid-back and Yuta-ish but he stands his ground when it comes to your friendship and the unlimited support and respect he has for it.

The whole thing felt like a healthy dose of fate. You were over the moon that Lunaria were finally being invited onto Idol Radio, though you weren't crazy huge on radio shows Idol Radio had a soft spot in your heart and you had always wanted to participate in the radio shenanigans with your group.

You had assumed it was just your group however, once it was revealed that only you and four other group members would be on the show due to conflicting schedules you couldn't help but feel somewhat disappointed that it wasn't a 'family' thing so to speak.

Unbeknownst to you part of the reason why your other members couldn't participate was because of the nature of the radio segment. Instead of focusing on you and your group Idol Radio had secured some of the members of OnlyOneOf to star in their segment.

It was quite the contrast considering that your group themes were so distinct, diverse and polar opposites. OnlyOneOf was actually the perfect candidate for creating interesting conversations that were perfect for going on air.

Pointing it out again it was a very odd combination of members from the get go, besides the group concepts you were just very different, however, the consistent factor was that you and yoojung were both known as being elegant and soft spoken.

The entire episode had gone extremely well, much to everyone's surprise, it was the most comfortable you had felt in a very long time in the presence of other idols, apart from Yuta. It wasn't just you who had the time of their lives, if you could read the men across from you you'd know that Yoojung's heart had started to beat in a different way and by the end of the show you had won him over.

And the reason why you won him over? It seriously seems like the most basic thing but basic or not it mattered to him. He was trying to have his say in a conversation but the members kept speaking over him, they truly didn't mean it though it was just excitable chatter that Yoojung wanted to get in on. You noticed how he couldn't get his word in so you politely spoke, your voice breaking them out of their trance. "Excuse me, what were you saying Yoojung?"

There was something admirable about this entire feat, you managed to be polite and approach people in such a gentle manner yet you also had enough in you to command a room. This was like the most attractive thing to him, amongst other things.

From this point his members knew something was afoot with their fellow member when he started dressing in your favourite colours and patterns and tried to capture the most soft-boy energy in existence.

Yoojung also thought it was fate that the rest of the members bonded with your group members since it gave him more opportunities to third-wheel just to have an opportunity to see you.

Honestly this relationship felt so natural and it came at the perfect moment, when your dating ban had finished, that also means that when he got the confidence to ask you out he was the first to do so. In short he felt lucky that he could be your first boyfriend and he promised to never take that for granted. He truly is your prince who puts extra effort into ensuring that you get treated like a princess.

There is so much childish love and excitement in your relationship and you truly feel like you found your other half, you share the same mind and the same heart. You are both the shimmering lights of the k-pop industry.

Not having read much of the fashionable translated fiction of the last several decades (Lispector and Bolaño being exceptions, both of whom seem in their own ways too weird to have contributed) I’ve always suspected that culpability lay as well in the more solipsistic moments of the midcentury- Adler as a novelist, Confessions of a Mask (masterpiece though it is) the entire bibliography of Philip Roth* etc. I am so very tired of relitigating these arguments from 2015, but yes wokeness enters into it too I’m sure, the idea that it’s almost an imperialist act to imagine a mind other than your own makes a certain kind of fiction inevitable I think.

*I find it curious that both the wokes who’ve (in theory at least, in practice there’s no male author of that generation whose books I see more in the wild, not even Baldwin or Pynchon) run him out of the canon and the based dissidents who seek to appropriate Roth as an icon of swaggering, he-man masculinity miss that the archetypal Roth protagonist isn’t a healthy all-American patriarch or even swinger, but a pathetic, almost kafka-esque insectoid figure torn simultaneously native of two cultures with wildly differing visions of masculinity, and whose compromise is a hypersexuality that the novelist’s art clearly portrays as disordered (even if his own life tells a different story.)

Yes, good call on Adler. As far as translated writers go, I think Sebald has to carry most of the blame for making world-weary old-world anhedonic lassitude, moralized as the proper "after Auschwitz" tone, into the style of the age. The contrarian wing of the literati isn't off the hook either, though, because the Houellebecq vogue didn't help.

The smartest literary left-liberals who are philosophically "woke" but disdainful of vulgar "wokeness" know Roth is with them in the end. I'm thinking of Becca Rothfeld or Garth Greenwell, for example. Such a ruthless philosophical materialist or monist hardly leaves actual metaphysical right-wingers a leg to stand on; as a matter of practical politics, he was only ever playing the gadfly within the greater Democratic Party coalition. OC List - a short overview

Technically, I am a writer. I know, surprise surprise. And technically, I have original characters and have had them for quite a while. This is a short introduction post to my 10 reoccuring characters! They all come with worlds, backstories, writing pieces and much, much love. If you ever wanna ask me about any of them, do it! I'll happily chatter for hours lol.

Sophy "Soldier #08" [REDACTED] (est 2013) - Sophy is a genetically modified sniper/assasin from a program which raised children from birth to become the most efficent type of soldier. She is one of the last four surviving members. She is cold, sarcastic, heartless, loyal and quite a bitch. Her story is the "SPARD Project".

Nicolas "Victory" Chale (est 2014) - Nico or "Vic" as most people call him comes from a science fiction novel I wrote in my early teens where he leads a rebellion. Currently, he's a hacker in current days. He's a player, rebellious, charming, has an easy time at convincing people and always jumps back to his feet.

Michael "Freak" Gavon (est 2014) - Freak comes from the same science fiction story as Vic does and the two have always been best friends (I go back and forth on shipping them and can't really decide). He is rather silent, has a hard time keeping up eye contact and prefers to be left alone. Just like Vic, he is a hacker, though much better at it.

Vina Danae Morphus (est 2014) - Vina is a fandomless and also kind of storyless character. She also originated in the science fiction novel. In current days, she works as an alternative/goth model. She is chatty, positive, kind of an ankle biter and a hopeless romantic. She is currently engaged to her girlfriend Sarah and they have two cats together. She is also a comic book and TV show nerd.

Robin "Bird" Kenzie (est 2016) - Bird is sort of the little sister character to Vic and Freak, even though she was added long after the book. She is a gamer, 16 years old, small for her age but that doesn't stop her. She has a weird sense of humor, is a total tomboy and still very much a teenager. She lives with Vic and Freak and constantly annoys both of them.

Eric Morton (est 2016/2017) - Eric is the leadsinger of my fictional 90s rock band "The Freaks". He plays guitar, sings, writes most of the lyrics and the music. He is a style icon, a heavy smoker, unable to stay in a relationship and very much a rockstar in the classical sense of the word. Though when you get to know him, he can be quite sweet and he's a great storyteller.

Silas "Nancy" Hayes (est 2019) - Just like Eric, Nancy is a 90s musician. He sings for the Industrial/EBM/aggro tech group "Chained" and models. He is famous for his extravagant style of fashion, for going on stage in drag and for being quite open about his homosexuality. At first glance he seems to be "style over substance" but he's an amazing friend and more than ready to kill someone for the people he loves.

Wren Sunderland (est 2020) - Wren is a black metal musician and sings for the band "Muroi". He is in a relationship with Tony Valentine from @lostbutnot-found (and they are very much the cutest). He is shy, drawn back and only really opens up on stage. He struggles a lot with his mental health and is pretty much taken along by the people around him. Super talented but doesn't like speaking about it. Child of nature.

"Thorn" [REDACTED] (est 2021) - What is there to say about Thorn. He's a serial killer, he belongs to the "Crimson Valley" verse by @lostbutnot-found and is in a weird co-dependend relationship with her OC Ezekiel Thorton. He feels very little emotion, is quite paranoid, clever and has a habit for pushing needles into his body for fun. He grew up in a cult, but not much else is publicly known about him.

Nova Elisabeth Morton (est 2020) - Nova is, if you guessed it, Eric's daughter! His only child (at least the only he knows about) and is just on the verge of turning 21. She is a famous streamer/social media starlet, plays guitar just like her father and has his sense of humor. She didn't see him much growing up but currently lives with him and they start to actually get along.

Easter Service

This weekend the active working members of the imperial family gathered together to attend the Easter Church service at the Holy Church of St. Agatha's.

First to arrive was HIM the Dowager Tsarina Nadia and her grandson and ward, HH Prince Grant. HIM stopped to greet Father Renaldi, the Vicar of the little church who would be leading today's services.

Next up was HIM Tsarina Ekaterina and TIHs Prince Matthew, Princess Rosalind and Prince Benedict. Princess Rosalind coordinating with her mother in spring-time shades of pink. Likewise, Prince Matthew and his son Prince Benedict matched in their shades of blue.

The last of the local Glimmerbrooke residents to arrive were HIH Princess Natasha, HH Duke Eastmeadow, and their daughter, The Lady Josephine Arrington.

Miss Yue Dias arrived next with cousin and roommate Princess Victoria, looking like opposites with Miss Dias in spring pastels and Princess Victoria in black and red.

The third member of the Britechester trio, HIH Crown Princess Ophelia, was not far behind her cousins and roommates, arriving in a custom Chanel dress and matching pill box hat, boyfriend Mr. Luke Marin boldly by her side, even after all the drama from last week.

After the young couple came HIH Princess Maria and HH Duchess Hartwards and their youngest, Miss Feng Mian Dias, all in bright warm colors for the service.

HIH Prince Ygor and HH Marquess Cedarworth followed close behind.

Shocking everyone, HIH Prince Nickolai walked up to the church with Dr. Megan Hathaway on his arm. Most will remember, this unconventional couple met when HIH accidentally crashed into the Dr. when walking his daughter's dog in San Myshuno. And speaking if daughter's- joining the new couple for church was Dr. Hathaway's young daughter, Miss Wren Hathaway.

The Prince took the time to pull his college-aged daughter aside and introduce her to his new girlfriend and her daughter. Miss Wren was seemingly star-struck at meeting Princess Victoria, but the Princess just joked and goofed off with the young girl to ease her anxiety. Another church-goer heard Princess Victoria assure her father that she loved his new girlfriend, and that he "picked a good one."

HIH Princess Yelena, looking like she's about to pop in her simple green dress, made her way up to the church on the arm of her husband, HH Duke Grandwood.

The final arrival, in typical fashion, was HIH Prince Yuri, accompanied by his shocking girlfriend, Miss Kacie Stewart. Miss Stewart was the fashion icon of the afternoon, in a hand-painted koi-fish dress (inspired by Princess Rosalind at the Spring Festival Opening Ceremonies) with bubble sleeves, an open back and wrap-front skirt with bow.

Like his elder brother, HIH took the time to introduce his son, Prince Grant, to his girlfriend for the first time, under the watchful gaze of Grandmama Nadia. Miss Stewart said she was thoroughly impressed with the little prince, and was shocked at how much like his father he is.

So with all the discourse around episode 3 of the Mandalorian, I would like to talk about who is and isn’t Mandalorian and we are going to do it with a little game I call

Ranking Mandos

It’s been pointed out that the one thing all Mandalorian seem to have in common is disagreement on who is and isn’t Mandalorian. 

Since Mandalorian tradition is to take in war orphans like Din, blood lineage isn’t what makes you a Mandalorian.

We’ve seen this a lot this season since Din believes that to be Mandalorian means never showing your face. Din says in the finale of last season, Mandalorian isn’t a race, it’s a creed. It’s been assumed that the Creed and the Way that Din keeps referring to is the Resol’nare, or Six Acts

So if we are using this as the litmus test of Mando-ness how do the Mandalorian we’ve seen in canon stack up. 

Satine Kryze

Education - We’ll give her this one because she does make Korkie's (her nephew) politcal education a priority.

Armor - no 

Self-defense - Definitely not, we can’t even call her an active pacificist since she refuses to defend herself even when Pre and later Maul threaten her.

Tribe - This one is tricky because Satine’s new mandalorians seem to be actively trying to root out tribalism but she does support her family and even seems open to reconciling with Bo-Katan.

Mando’a - She does speak mando’a even though it seems she doesn’t speak it as her primary language 

Mand’alor - no, even though she holds the highest political office on Mandalore she doesn’t wield the dark saber, which is considered to be the symbolic seat of power for the mand’alor

Pre Vizsla 

Education - Pre’s entire campaign against the new Mandalorians is to reintroduce traditional mandalorian culture which would include educating the young 

Armor - yes 

Self-defense - yes 

Tribe - This one is tricky because Pre never talks about any family but he does seem to take pride in his Vizsla heritage 

Mando’a - We never see him speak mando’a 

Mand’alor - He is Mand’alor as the holder of the dark saber for the majority of the clone wars

Education - he seems to have prioritized Boba's education

Armor - yes and iconic

Self-defense - obviously

Tribe - ummmm i think it depends if you are going off canon or EU but I'm going to say.....no

Mando’a - *pinches nose* ok so in attack of the clones, when him and Boba are talking, wookiepedia says they are speaking Fett Code, which is supposed to be something he made up so him and Boba could communicate without being overheard. The theory is that it is modified Mando'a, so we'll go with that.

Mand’alor - again depends on if your talking Legends or canon but soooo no

Education - kinda hard to say since she is technically a kid herself, but we'll say yes since she seems invested in the cultural traditions of her people

Self-defense - yep

Tribe - even if she's estranged from her family, mandos are the pinnacle of the found family trope so yes.

Mando’a - I think she speaks the most Mando'a in canon

[ I know, he’s not technically a Mando but hear me out, he won the Dark Saber off of Pre Vizsla in single combat making him Mand’alor. I know people have taken issue with Bo-Katan rejecting Maul as Mand’alor because she’s xenophobic but honestly I think her issue was that he didn’t follow the creed] 

Mand’alor - she returns the darksaber to the mando'ade so she obviously believes in the institution

Education- Maul is a revenge gay, so I don't think he knows children exist....

Armor - nope

Self-defense - yes 

Tribe - nope 

Mando’a - shockingly there is evidence that Maul does know Mando’a 

Mand’alor - ummmm he technically was Mand’alor but I don’t think he gave a fuck about the position other than furthering his own agenda

Mand’alor - given the events of episode three, it seems like he might not know anything about the mand’alor or dark saber so, no
