hi, sorry if this is a bit presumptuous as we're not mutuals, but as another fledgling fic writer I was wondering if you had any advice on how to go about finding a beta/ people to talk about your fics with? (also goes without saying but in the bookshop after is sooo devastating and well done)
Not presumptuous at all! Fledglings unite, am I right? ✊
I basically shouted into the tumblr void, and just... asked for help. This fandom is full of very nice people (although some of them will slam you against the wall and insist that they're not nice, while being the nicest people ever doing the nicest things).
So, just go for it! Ask for help. That's how I found betas, and ended up making friends with other writers. Once you've done that, you can have a cookie and a hug. 🍪🤗
And! Welcome to the Fledgling Writers Club! Together, we can spiral into the void of obsessing over Crowley's hips or Aziraphale's mouth. I haven't seen the sun in days. I forgot what it looks like, and no longer miss the outside. It's great. I expect more of the same.
Did I mention we have cookies?

i'm gonna go crazy! i was just looking for the last details in my new fanfic before starting to write and now i have a hundred new ideas in my mind that i also want to write aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Happens to me all the time, friend. I encourage you to keep a journal, or an ongoing word document, for brainstorming purposes. It might help keep those creative juices flowing in a way that doesn't feel so overwhelming.
Happy writing, boo!

Story Prompt 111
A young man hurried through the crowded streets, trying to get home after a long day at work. But tonight, fate had other plans.
As he turned a corner, a group of shadowy figures emerged from the darkness, surrounding him with menacing intent. "You! We finally found you," one of them growled, pointing accusingly at the bewildered man.
"What? What did I do?" he stammered, his heart racing with fear.
"Don't play dumb with us! You think you can just waltz around like nothing happened?" another voice spat, the anger palpable in the air.
The young man's mind raced, trying to understand what was happening. He had never seen these people before, yet they seemed to know him. "I swear, I don't know what you're talking about! Please, just let me go!" he pleaded, desperation creeping into his voice.
But the mob wasn't interested in his pleas. With a swift movement, one of them lunged forward, aiming a punch at his face. Instinctively, the young man ducked, narrowly avoiding the blow. "Enough of your lies! You think we'll let you get away with it?" the attacker snarled, readying for another strike.
As the situation escalated, the young man's mind raced, trying to find a way out of the danger closing in around him. He knew he had to think fast if he wanted to survive the night.
Suddenly, a voice cut through the tension like a knife. "Hold on a minute! What's going on here?" A figure stepped out of the shadows, casting a commanding presence over the scene.
The mob faltered, their aggression momentarily halted by the newcomer's interruption. "None of your business, stranger. This guy's got it coming," one of them muttered, eyeing the newcomer warily.
The newcomer's gaze softened as he turned to the young man, offering a reassuring smile. "You okay?" he asked quietly, extending a hand to help him up.
With a grateful nod, the young man took the stranger's hand, feeling a surge of relief wash over him. "Yeah, thanks. I don't know what would've happened if you hadn't shown up," he admitted, his voice trembling with emotion.
The stranger shrugged, a wry smile playing on his lips. "Just in the right place at the right time, I guess. Now, let's get you out of here before things get even uglier."

I Feel Like This Needs To Be Said
Not a lot of people will see this post, or care about what it says, but I want to tag a few of my other mutual writers and see if this is something they experience: @procrastinatingsapphictrash, @natasharomanoffismywife, @vancityfire13, @yellowvxbes, @just-dreaming-marvel and any other author who might have this issue.
I’m wondering if any of you have had anons, or even people who aren’t on anon, demand you write for a certain character. With my experience, I get anons who demand I write for a certain character, or I make a part 2 to a fic I wrote. Now, I never planned on writing a part two to the fic or anything like that, but I’ve felt that I’ve had to because there’s been so much demand.
Let me give an example, I wrote a Eleven Hopper x Mayfield!Reader, and wasn’t planning on writing a part two, but I got over 600 notes, which is a lot, considering most of my posts get an average of 30 - 50 notes. Then came the demands for a part two, and I gave in, I wrote the fic, and guess how many notes it got - 52 notes.
52 notes for a part 2 that everyone demanded - not that I expected another 600 notes, but maybe like 300 from all the reblogs and asks for another part.
Another problem I have is for more parts to series. One of my most asked next parts to a series is one called The Sky’s the Limit. There’s so much overwhelming demand that I always write the next chapter, but the interaction for the lastest chapter - 10 likes, 2 reblogs, and look at the demand I have for chapter 18:
Anonymous asked:
Can you please post some daisy content?!
Anonymous asked:
Can we maybe please have the next part to the sky's the limit??
Anonymous asked:
Are you ignoring us when we ask for daisy Johnson content??? Because I kinda feel like you are😖
I’m really just wondering what y’all would say or do about this, would you write the next part, or leave it alone.

Criminalize
In shadows deep, where darkness hides, A tale unfolds, where good resides. A soul once pure, with heart untamed, Faced trials that left it scarred and maimed.
The world, a stage of torment and woe, Unleashed its wrath, a cruel tableau. Torture and cruelty, their bitter refrain, Transforming a spirit, causing deep pain.
A good person, with noble dreams, Caught in the web of sinister schemes. The weight of malice, a heavy shroud, Fueled the fire, in heart allowed.
Through battles fought, in righteousness clad, The line between good and evil blurred, gone mad. With every blow, their essence was torn, Aching to break free, their true self mourned.
In the fight, where shadows dance, The good person caught in a malevolent trance. Once tender-hearted, now filled with strife, Yearning for the days of a simpler life.
The mirror reveals a stranger's face, A criminal born from this darkened space. Heartbroken, they witness the fall from grace, Longing for redemption, to find their true place.
For in the depths, they lost their way, A pawn in a game they never wished to play. But hope still flickers, a distant spark, To reclaim the light that once left its mark.
In the struggle between good and ill, A yearning to restore, to rebuild, fulfill. With strength and courage, they'll seek release, And heal the wounds that shattered their peace.
For though the world may cast its cruel guise, A good person's essence never truly dies. Through tears and trials, they'll rise above, Reclaim their spirit, and find love.
So let us remember, as we strive, The power to change, to keep goodness alive. For in this battle, both outside and within, We'll fight for redemption, and let forgiveness begin.

I see forever in your eyes
as we hold hands under the moonlight.
the night time stars in the sky
make constellations,
so beautiful.
I hope we never say goodbye,
only good night.
