It had been roughly two months since you and Hanma had started going steady, true you weren’t official with everyone as you both lived in different worlds, it was truly a puzzle on how you both ended up together, you both were as different as night and day, He was a gang hardened thug who walked in a darkness that your light would easily get swallowed up in, His heart twisted by the life of a gang member was totally different to you.

You were studious, kept your grades up and the only time you get in fights is on video games, You are a light in comparison to Hanma in everyway, but in someway it all worked out as your presence in his life kept him just enough in the light to stop him becoming the true heartless bastard he had the potential of turning into, In fact when you both started going steady he drew a line in the sand with you, there are many things that Hanma would gladly sacrifice on a silver platter for the sake of Kisaki’s diabolical plan, many others he’d allow to be strung up like marionettes to dance in the madness that was the bespectacled demons scheme that Hama would turn his back on, but you were different, off limits, a variable not to be used.

Which is why it pissed Hanam off no end when the demon in humans skin, His boss would try to ask the unthinkable of you, It was a warm summer, you three were out enjoying the weather with a nice parfait in a local café, textbooks strewn in front of you as you wanted to get your summer break homework finished before you would allow yourself to bask in the sun.

“Ah I see so this is how it goes..thanks Y/N” Hanma smirked as he listened to you explain the information in the text book, he wasn’t entirely enthralled in the subject you talked about but he did like to hear your voice and so he let you speak with such an excited pitch, in his mind it was just enough to be in a normal conversation and talking about normal things that weren’t Toman or other related.

“Say Y/N may I ask you a question ?” A cold and calculated voice asked putting Hanma slightly sighed as he threw an arm over your shoulder and looked at his captain with a raised eyebrow, this better be a normal question and if he didn’t like what he heard Hanma wasn’t going to be happy.

“Don’t you go to school with a girl called Tachibana Hinata ?” Kisaki asked as Hanam scowled quietly enough for you not to hear it and thought “Kisaki you fucker we have been thought this, Did we need to have another one of THOSE talks (Code for a the fights they’d have over you meeting more of their “Questionable” friends), Hanma by now had his arm like a protective blanket around you.

“Kisaki …really…” Hanma went onto say with a warning look upon his face, you could sense hostility and didn’t know why but you knew damned well not to question it when Hanma was like this, Kisaki just huffed and stood up, he fixed his glasses.

Not wanting to loose face and with a defeated growl, Kisaki packed up his books and made his way to the door, Hanma watching him walk away, this wasn’t over, not by a long shot but at least for the time being you were spared another day to bask in the light of your world, A world Hanma wanted you firmly in as you deserved the world in his eyes because you had the compassion to love a twisted bastard like him.

There was things Hanma could corrupt for the sake of his captain but you were absolutely not one of them

The impossibly long man leans back in his chair and crosses his arms, closing his eyes to better describe his experience. He sits for a moment buzzing idly in thought.

"When I close my eyes, occasionally, I can see places throughout the city. The Eyes show me these places, and sometimes they allow me to travel to them to... Find... any remaining children, and bring them into the signal."

His empty, black eyes flick back open, and he blinks the horrific visions of fresh air away before concluding his thought.

"If I stray though, or if I even for a moment think I could run off and escape, I suddenly open my eyes and I am sitting... Here. I suppose these activities keep me... Entertained. If that's any way to describe it.

Time also works differently here, and this place is a maze... I Have learned to not open any doors that appear, and stay in my cage, where it's... A bit less mind-bending."

He rolls his eyes at the question regarding any relationship with the Eyes.

"The Eyes, on the other hand, are... Not. As. Entertaining."

She wouldn't live in any one particular Archipelago Kingdom, preferring to travel a lot to perform. She would be more well known in smaller kindoms as they tend to have fewer performers and bard groups.

Rindou x Ex- reader story

It had been about three weeks since Rindou broke up with you, it was for your own good he told himself, within Tenjuku there was no one he really trusted to keep you safe, to not use you as a pawn in the plan and to keep your well-being in mind.

So with a heavy heart he did it, he broke up with you, ending it on a high note before the darkness of gang life could engulf the light of your soul,he told himself that you were safe, how wrong he was as he spotted you with not only another guy but his own flesh and blood, his brother in arms Ran.

“How could he ?” Were the thoughts that filled his mind, Ran knew fine well the reason he broke up with you, that you were off limits, that Rindou broke up with you without malefic intent, that he still loved you, he just couldn’t be with you.

But seeing you now, hand in hand with him outside a Mc Donald’s in a street in kanto was too much for his heart to take and blind with anger Rindou acted without a single thought.

“What the hell are you playing at” were the words you heard from a familiar voice call out, you sighed and raised your eyebrow to this, was this seriously happening.

“I think it’s evident, I’m out with my girl” Ran responded with his usual cold expression on his face, arm over your shoulder, your anger building.

“You knew damned well how I felt about her, you could have had anyone else but why her?” Rindou asked before he felt the fresh sting of a slap to his face, with a red hand you took ahold of Rans and walked on.

Shocked and confused Rindou thought to himself.

“was it over?”

Only time would tell if you both would end up on the same path again as Rindou vowed to see you safe again, even if it wasn’t with him.

He shadows his eyes with the brim of his hat before answering the query in a more elaborate way,

"I suppose if the tower should die, I would not survive it. I do not sleep, I do not eat. I sit, I wait. And the tower keeps me alive so I can have my revenge, and fix my mistake."

His hands idle into fists in his lap as he looks up, expecting to see some sign that what he's doing is right, and seeing nothing but the dimly lit ceiling above him, as usual. He shakes his head slightly and looks back down.

Curious how Pikavee or Lief would turn out if they were a part of your canon!

This one was definitely a fun one to think of

Pikavee would likely be a low ranking adventurer if at all, as it is quite dangerous and often includes fighting, though some lower rank quests are more about foraging, finding people, or just chores people don't want to do, she would be a good bit smaller relatively due to the size of Azurriea, being about 6-7x larger than earth. She would more than likely be living in the Zikie Kingdom, a neutral kingdom that avoids conflict and has a decent population of taurs (large) so she would likely be most comfortable there.

Lief would definitely not be an adventurer due to his disapproval of treasure hunting, which kind of is what a good bit of the dungeon quests involve. He would likely be in the same kingdom as the main cast, though on a small remote island, which there are quite a few of, it's primarily a trading kingdom so not too much fighting, plus he doesn't have to do too much as each island is plenty abundant in fruits.
