is it easy to love and be loved?
patience, persistence, pain never will outweigh the blossoming feeling of butterflies in the garden of your heart and the healing it does to your soul.
love, as it is, requires the greatest seen effort as well as those that are too menial to be noticed.
to yearn for the warmth of contact, and embrace to never let go
to catch oneself longing for the presence, and endure the pain of waiting
to ponder what the world offers, and to give a piece of the earth
to care and nourish the wellbeing, and to wish well on the wanders
to continue what is good and kind, and to push through the madness of emotions.
to live life as your own, and to live life being theirs

Honey Cake
Sweet and soft,
the honey embraces my tongue.
That heavenly taste of yours-
is my poison...

I’ll stand outside your door,
Slide you notes across the floor.
I know you wanted more-
I know,
You wanted more.
But I stand in shadows- cast by a wall that has steel in its core
Nothing will budge it and, after trying, my fingernails are torn.
I wait. I don’t know what for.
I wait...
Oh, what for?

Not to get all gloomy or sentimental but appreciate what you have today, even the little stuff that people ask why do you do that or why are you wasting your time with that?
Because in a few years you're going to miss those little moments of Joy you're having now.
Blast that music, watch whatever show or movie or play a video game or read that book or hobby!
Immerse yourself and do what sparks joy to you because no matter what you do somebody else is going to have something to say about it might as well make it your choice as to what right?

Emotionless
I'm at a complete loss of emotions
Yet my head is spinning
Tell me, when did I become this?
This mess of a person
I feel so bent, so twisted, so broken
My left ribcage feels heavy with pain and depression
Sometimes I struggle to breathe without hurting
It's when I take a breath that I'm reminded of everything
I tried to tell him I wasn't ready
He didn't listen nor did he care
I tried to let him go, but he made me feel good and messed up my hair
He's always had a sense of control over me
I want- no I need to escape it
These chains are so overwhelming
Someone help me, anyone, please
I'm just here waiting
Waiting for the one
But little by little not believing in it
Is all love really gone?
I guess I ran out of emotions and I'm kind of done

I keep writing about you, hoping one day you’ll find this page and read everything I wrote about you. Hoping that you’ll see how much I loved you. Or maybe you won’t. Maybe I’ll die always hoping. But that’s the things about poets, we always have a tragic ending.

|| When Death Comes ||
Death comes and she is vigilant
Scratching at the door like a cat in heat
The sound of nails and teeth and cries from mothers and fathers
Orchestras and funeral processions prelude her coming
Yet she is deaf to these sounds
Death comes and she is ravenous
She throws the grain and the wine across the room
She is here for flesh,
For the blood that has pulsed through the veins of generations
The same blood that flushes your cheeks and falls in rose petals to the ground
You hold up your wrists to show the wounds, and she scoffs
She is blind to your agony.
Relentless in her pursuit
Death comes and she is solemn
She wears white and cries in the doorway,
Apologetic for her reasoning, but persistent in her coming.
She throws daisies around your head and kisses you to sleep in that same way your lover once did.

With time I’ve come to realise that I don’t think I’ve ever not wanted children, my one want has only been to not turn out like my mother.

losing a person you love makes you think you’ll never be able love again. that’s the biggest misconception about love. It’s true that you never truly stop loving the people you lost or said goodbye to. but you will meet new people who will touch your heart again, who will teach you to open up again. you will still love the people you have lost, but you’ll realize that love isn’t something that can be reduced to one specific person. love multiplies with the people you decide to let in.
