Blood In The Gutter -- X-Men fanfiction website

This website was archived in October of 1999 through (I believe) April of 2008. It was created by the late and great Kelly Newcomb, aka Kielle, and is X-Men focused--with a twist; almost all of these stories are focused on the villainous group, the Marauders, pictured below.

(That includes Gambit and Sinister-related stories, as well)

I'm not entirely sure what I'm doing with this blog; I'm a bit new to this. I am passionate about the things I like, and one of those things is, as weird as it sounds, the Marauders. And I've wanted to share this site with others for a while now; what better way, y'know?

Here is Kielle's fanlore. I highly recommend reading it if you want to learn more about her and her impact on her various fandom communities. She sounded incredible:

Now that I look at it…the pillows are kinda overstimulating, but whatever these guys lived in the wizard world of the 70s…there had to be weird overstimulating patterns everywhere 😂

One of my favorite thing about James Potter is that he’s so respectful

When he was younger and still completely in love with Lily, Snape,who was also in love with Lily, gave her a love potion. However, it backfired and Lily ended up being in love with James. Now the second James found out, he didn’t do anything about it. He just called Lily’s friends and told them to take care of her. The same James who was absolutely head over heels in love with her. The same James who had the same girl he was in love with for so long in love with him too for the first time and who didn’t take avantage of it even a little bit.

Then, when he got with Regulus, a couple of years later, he would ask for his consent simply to hold his hand. He would answer anyone who asked about Regulus’s gender or sexuality with ‘’ I don’t know if Regulus wants me to tell you.’’. Even though Hogwarts in it’s integrity already knew Regulus was gay and trans and had for a while.

James would constantly question Reg about what he’s comfortable with or not comfortable with. It was always important for him but even more when it came to Reggie being transgender.

‘’ Is it okay if I touch your scars on your chest’’ or stuff like this. But since he’s James mf Potter ,sometimes, he got really intense/crazy and Reg would just chuckle fondly.

‘’Do you want me to act more feminine so people think you’re the man in the relationship?’’

Reg chuckled ‘’come here’’

James buries his face in the crook of Reg’s neck while Reg wraps him up in his arms.

‘’You do know that’s not how gay couples work right?’’

James sighs ‘’ I know. I just want you to be comfortable.’’

‘’ I am love. I promise.’’ He then kisses the top of James head.
