You couldn’t feel like celebrating, the team gathered in yours and Yoko’s room, well except for Wednesday.
Numbly sitting on your bed, you watched as Enid, Yoko and a few other girls from Ophelia came to celebrate, dancing around with the cup.
“Aren’t you happy Y/n?” Enid turned to you. You finally came out of your head looking up at her. “You okay, you don’t look so good.”
Looking up at them, you sighed, “Xavier kissed me today.”
There was a moment of silence before all the girls cheered around, squealing. Yoko pulled you from the bed, hugging you tightly.
“See, I told you it was bound to happen.” They smiled, “He likes you back.”
“See, I told you it was bound to happen.” They smiled, “He likes you back.”
“Wait,” Divina interrupted, though not around the winning team, she came in support for Yoko, “when did it happen? You never went away from the group.”
“During the Poe Cup.”
“You all stay here, and watch over the boat!” You yelled to Yoko, Enid and Wednesday before running off into the forest.
Ajax and Xavier had a head start of you but you were determined to make it ahead and finally win the cup this year.
Looking back, you saw Bianca slowly coming in the background, whipping your head back around, bumping into someone.
“Woah watch where you’re going.” You felt them wrap their hands around your bicep to stabilize you before helping you stand up straight.
“Xavier.” You sighed. As much as you wished for something to happen, you couldn’t let anything get in your way of getting that flag.
“In such a rush?” There was a playful glimmer in his eyes, “I think we have it this year.”
“In your dreams.” You clipped back.
“Oh, I do dream of you.” Your eyes soften slightly at the statement, before you remember where you are.
“Let me go!” You tried to wrestle out of his grip. Xavier was adamant of having you in his arms, and didn’t seem like he wasn’t going to let go anytime soon.
“Leaving me so soon.” He smirked, “One more thing.”
You couldn’t even think after what happened. One second you could see the flag in your field of vision and the next, you felt being pushed against a tree, with Xavier’s lips on yours.
His hands slowly trailed down your arms, wrapping them around your waist, your hands subconsciously placed on his chest. You couldn’t even register what was happening, dreaming of this moment.
Kissing him back, your hands were wrapped around his neck, pulling him down closer to you.
Feelings his hands dance around your torso, you heard the sound of footsteps coming closer and closer.
“I got it!” Your eyes widened at the sound of Ajax’s voice, pulling away from Xavier, seeing Ajax behind him with the flag in his hand.
Putting two and two together, you looked at Ajax then looking back at Xavier who had that cocky smirk on his face.
“Good luck.” He whispered in your ear before running off.
You felt embarrassed, angry, all whirlwinds of emotions. Swallowing it down, you ran to grab the flag before sprinting back to the boat.
“What took you so long!” Enid practically screamed, pulling you back into your spot. Having the clear vision of you guys holding the Poe Cup, you couldn’t think of what had just happened, rowing even faster.
The four of you started to row back, passing the AmontiLlado boat, seeing them starting to sink. You felt proud at the moment seeing Xavier’s face of defeat but turning back.
You ran behind Enid and Wednesday ran towards the finish, you all cheering for your victory.
“He kissed while I went to get the flag, and he-uh kissed me to distract me while Ajax was able to get their flag.” You confessed.
“Oh honey.” Yoko cooed, wrapping their arms around you, leaning your head onto their shoulder.
You didn’t want to cry, it was supposed to be a happy moment but nonetheless, you felt your eyes starting to water. Letting the tears cascade, you sobbed out loud.
“I really liked him.” You cried, the rest of the girls all sat around you, consoling you. “And he used me!”
“He’s not worth it.” Enid said softly.
On the other side of campus, Ajax sat at the edge of Xavier’s bed, watching him pace back and forth in his room.
“Dude, you're giving me a headache.” Ajax said, “Can you say something.”
“God, I’m so stupid.” Xavier muttered for the hundredth time at night, pulling at the roots of his hair.
“Anything but that.” Ajax sighed, he didn’t know how long he heard him muttering under his breath, “Just talk to her.”
“I can’t.” Xavier looked up at his friend, “You didn’t see her face, she looked heartbroken, it was like I betrayed her.” It wasn’t one of his best moments, but Xavier couldn’t hold it in anymore and kissing you while grabbing the flag wasn’t the time.
He planned it all, after you or him won, he wanted to tell you how he felt, kiss you then.
“Explain to her then.” Ajax offered, “You can’t avoid her forever.”
But you did.
The following Monday, you walked through Nevermore with Yoko, ignoring Xavier like the plague, which was a pain because of the numerous classes you had with him.
Walking into Mrs. Thornhill’s class, you started to make your way towards the back to sit with Yoko, but frowning when you saw Enid there. She sent you a sheepish smile before looking over your shoulder. Furrowing your eyebrows, you looked over your shoulder to see the station where Xavier was sitting, with an empty seat next to him.
Turning around you looked back at Enid and Yoko, sighing and rolling your eyes behind your sunglasses.
Setting your stuff down the table, you took the seat next to him.
“Hey.” He whispered, turning towards you, “You’re wearing your sunglasses, you never do.”
It made you feel a little happy that he noticed things about you, but shaking it off.
The sun never bothered your eyes that much, never really needing to wear sunglasses, but after spending most of the weekend crying, your eyes were red and puffy.
“Alright class.” Mrs. Thornhill called, you thanked whoever saved you at that moment.
Xavier was dying to talk to you, get your attention, anything. Looking out of the corner of your eye, you saw him scribbling on the back side of his paper, his eyebrows furrowed.
Looking up at Thornhill, you saw something being slid by your books, you looked down, seeing the self portrait of yourself. It was from the Poe cup, the cat makeup on your face, and the ears that Enid made you wear.
Your eyes soften slightly, seeing how beautiful the picture was. Collecting yourself, you pushed it back to Xavier, gathering your stuff before walking out of class.
“Y/n, wait up!” Xavier called for you in the crowded hallway. You turned back, seeing how everyone had been looking at the two of you. You wanted to talk, but you didn’t need half the population of Nevermore listening in.
“C’mon.” It was the first thing you had said to him in three days. Walking ahead of him, Xavier was on your heels, letting you take him anywhere. Arriving in front of the Poe statue, you look around the corridor before snapping twice.
As the statue started to move back, you both walked down the stairs in the Nightshades library.
Both of you stood in the middle of the room, both of you waiting for the other to talk.
“I just want-” Xavier started.
“Did you mean it?” You interrupted him. Your voice held no emotion, your body was stiff waiting for his answer.
“What?” He asked.
“Did you actually want to kiss me or was it to distract me?” You explained further.
“No, of course not.” Xavier shook your head.
You couldn’t help but start to ramble, “Because if it was, that was truly cruel, everyone knows how I feel about you and if you used my feelings to try to win, I don’t think I can be around you anymore and-”
Before you could finish, Xavier grabbed the side of your face, his hands on your cheek while his thumbs cradled your jaw, kissing you. You breath sucked in, your eyes wide, not even registering what was happening.
Your hands pushed against his chest, pulling him away from you.
“You can’t do that.” Your voice faltered. “You can’t play with my feelings like that!”
Xavier’s hands were still on your face, moving away from your cheeks, pulling your sunglasses off your face.
He saw the tears in your eyes, using the pad of his thumb, to wipe away the tears that started to cascade down your cheek.
“I love you.” He said softly, his thumb caressing your cheek. “And I’m an idiot.”
“You are.” You laughed quietly.
“Ajax told me I finally needed to tell you, and I had this whole plan, kissing you after the race, when we won.”
“When I win.” You corrected him.
“Right.” He smiled, before continuing. “And what happened during the forest, I just couldn’t hold it in anymore, I was an idiot for leaving you like that, I should have explained myself afterwards.”
“You really love me.” Your hands were wrapped around his wrists.
“Of course I do.” He smiled. “And I’ll spend the rest of my life telling you.”
“Yoko’s gonna freak when I tell them.” You chuckled.
“Really.” He started to smile, “I just told you I love you and all you’re thinking about is Yoko’s reaction.”
“Of course.” You smiled. “So are you gonna kiss me again?”
“For the rest of my life.”

Too Sharp to Touch pt.5
Word Count: 3.1k
Warnings: language, mentions of blood
Summary: After a painting session with Xavier you meet up with your friend group at the dining hall, and it seems as if everyone is talking about you and Wednesday
Pairing: Wednesday x Reader
Too Sharp to Touch Masterlist
Tumblr media
The quiet sound of a wet paintbrush slathering over canvas, paint dripping onto the tarp on the floor was the atmosphere for your slavery, taunting you as you remembered that this was all your fault.
Xavier was sitting atop his own painting stool, mid-paint, and looking at you occasionally to make sure you were still cleaning. Your pair of sweatpants was already getting coated in a layer of chalk dust as you knelt on the shed floor, scooping broken pencil shards into the Ziploc bag you’d been given with a very prominent pout on your face.
Sure, you could’ve been painting just like Xavier, getting the respect you very much deserved instead of being treated like a misbehaving child, but no. Here you were, on the floor, dirtying your second pair of pants this month, stooping under tables to reach the strayed paintbrushes.
And it was all the fault of Wednesday Addams.
Yeah sure, you’d gotten a few useful fighting tips a couple nights ago. Use your heightened senses, yadda yadda, don’t let anyone touch the fur on your neck, yadda yadda - but surely you didn’t deserve such a shove to the floor.
And no, you were not imagining the small glint of satisfaction in the goth’s eyes when you nearly busted the floor of the shed right open when the impact of your fall, a mess of paint brushes and art supplies flying around you. The hint of a smirk on her face? She took satisfaction in doing it, no matter what excuses you knew she would make.
“You done yet?”
The scoff of the painting psychic broke you out of your thoughts when you realized you’d paused cleaning. Frowning softly, you sat back on your heels to look at the mess, or, more importantly, lack thereof. You’d cleaned up the pencils and paintbrushes and most of the chalks, but there was no way you’d be able to clean the stains of charcoal and chalk powder from the boards of the floor. You turned to Xavier and threw the bag at him, not caring if you hurt him or not (not that you put a lot of force into the throw anyway).
Your half-serious hopes of injury were quailed when Xavier chuckled at your throw, putting the ziploc on the table of art supplies, and turning back to painting. Without asking permission (which you both knew you didn’t need), you got off the floor and got into your worn painting stool, trying to dust the chalk powder off your sweatpants with a quiet grumble.
“I shouldn’t have had to clean that, I’m innocent.”
Xavier shook his head with a teasing smile as he dipped his paintbrush into his palette, continuing his smooth brushstrokes as he spoke.
“You know that when you’re in the shed alone whatever happens is your responsibility, Y/N.”
“I wasn’t alone, and it wasn’t my fault,” you insisted, eyebrows furrowing as you tossed him one last pout before turning to your painting you’d started the week before. “It was Wednesday’s fault, go and torture her and not me.” You didn’t comment on the fact that she wouldn’t mind being tortured. If you knew her she’d enjoy it.
“I don’t have a death wish, thank you,” Xavier chuckled softly again as his brush swirled around in his cup of paint water. “And what was Wednesday Addams doing in the shed last night?” The psychic leaned backward on his stool to look around his canvas and give you a raised eyebrow, a smirk twitching at the corner of his lips.
“Fighting lessons. I already told you,” you grumbled, still in a bad mood from having to clean. “She pushed me.” You adjusted the lighting on one of the antlers of the stag, head tilting sideways as you tried to get the angle right.
“I don’t find that hard to believe,” Xavier muttered from behind his canvas. “She came up to me last night, asking about you, and she sounded pissed; more than usual, at least. Apparently, you didn’t show up.”
You scoffed slightly, trying to ignore the embarrassed heat starting to creep onto your cheeks. “I fell asleep trying to fix the heater, it was making funny noises again.” You paused a little bit, perking up slightly as you glanced at Xavier. “Wednesday asked about me?”
When you saw Xavier pause as well, glancing at you with surprise and a smirk, you froze. “Yeah, she did. Because you were late?”
You felt the heat in your face get worse as you buried your face in the canvas again, trying to ignore Xavier’s stupid smirk as you felt his eyes on your back.
“So how did the practice go, anyway? You were talking up a storm about it the other day.”
Oh, you knew exactly what he was doing.
Deciding to humor him, you delicately painted a fine dark line to add a good contrast to your lighting, grinning in satisfaction as you responded, “Oh it went fine, I suppose.”
The silence that followed your response made you grin wider, but you hid it as you turned your face further into your canvas and out of view, continuing to smoothen your strokes as he responded, “That’s it? Come on, Y/N, I know it was more than that.”
“Nope,” you muttered, still thinking that he deserved some sort of payback for making you clean up the mess. “Nothing at all.”
The silence dragged on, only filled by the sound of water swishing and paintbrushes dipping into the paint before you finally couldn’t hold back what you had to say.
“Wednesday cheated. She shoved me on purpose and didn’t warn me.” You continued to complain as you added a touch of green to your forest canopy background. “Not to mention the fact that she barely taught me anything-”
You continued to grumble and gripe about your night, pausing only to catch your breath as Xavier listened, before cutting in, “Sounds like you two had a good time, aside from breaking apart my shed. Next time keep it in the academy or the woods.”
You fixed him with a glare, shaking your head as you felt the heat return to your cheeks. “It was a fighting lesson, that’s all.” Turning back to your canvas, you muttered, “And I don’t think she particularly liked your crusty old shed anyways.”
“Keep talking like that and you won’t get to use my crusty old shed,” Xavier snarked, throwing a paintbrush at your head, which you dodged. “And clearly it wasn’t just a fighting lesson, you’ve been walking around in a trance all day. Did she, like, poison you or something?”
“I wouldn’t put it past her.” You turned your attention back to your canvas to try and get rid of the now very prominent blush on your face.
You leaned toward the canvas, switching out for the smaller brush to hone in on the detail of the bloodstain. Yes, you’d used the pigs blood from the bloodstain thing you’d done with Wednesday. It made the piece more genuine, at least in your mind.
When you leaned in you started to drag your brush delicately down the canvas when something made you freeze. You picked up a scent on your painting. No, it wasn’t the scent of blood, oils or acrylics. It was faint, maybe two or three days old, but it was a scent you knew. The scent of dead leaves and darkness, an underlying tone of death lingering behind it.
Wednesday?
Your eyebrows scrunched in confusion as you continued to hover right in front of your canvas, setting your brush down so you could focus. Not only had she been near it but she had touched it. That much you knew. Yet you were still confused. Had she been here some other time? Why would she touch your painting of all the paintings there were here?
“Uhh… Y/N?”
Xavier’s confused voice broke through your thoughts as you realized you had been hunched weirdly in front of your canvas for a bit, lost in confusion and still scenting the last traces of Wednesday on your canvas. Embarrassed, you straightened quickly, muttering out an excuse about seeing a bug, and tried to focus on your painting as you reached for the paintbrush again.
-
You stood and stretched, glancing outside at the sky that was beginning to darken, the last golden rays of sun fading out slowly. Your painting was definitely coming along nicely; you’d gotten a lot of the lighting done, and the background was nearly finished; you’d have to fix the bloodstain another time. Blood definitely wasn’t something easy to paint with.
You put your brushes away and scooted your stool back into place as you glanced at Xavier, who had his headphones on. Walking over, you nudged him, gesturing outside to let him know you were leaving.
The psychic merely nodded at you in acknowledgment, handing you the Ziploc full of the broken art supplies for you to keep before turning back to his art, and you slipped out of the shed, leaving him to his devices as you threw your shoulder into the creaky door to close it fully.
Your stomach was growling by the time you arrived at the main building, jogging up the stairs as you made a beeline for the dining hall, weaving easily through students. God, you were starving. If they were out of yogurt cups again you were going to claw someone.
Upon entering the dining hall, your eyes brightened at the sight of a bustling room, tables full of chatting students, not to mention those studying in the corner. Fidgeting impatiently you got in line, grabbing yourself a Coke. You spotted the last yogurt cup in the cooler and reached for it, only for it to be swiped from your reach by someone ahead of you in line.
Growling with frustration, you had to stop yourself from literally clawing it out of the student's hands, reminding yourself to have some self-control as you watched the student walk off with what should have been your property.
Damnit.
Your hands felt empty carrying only your coke (ignoring the Ziploc bag of broken art supplies), as you walked toward your usual table, Enid, Bianca, Yoko, and Divina were already seated and chatting together.
“Move,” you huffed, nudging the tip of the blonde’s blazer as your hands were full. You scooted in between Yoko and Enid, setting the bag of art supplies at your feet and cracking open the coke with a claw, shotgunning it.
“Someone’s in a bad mood,” Bianca observed from across the table, giving you a smirk as she took a bite of salad. “What was it this time?”
You paused mid-shotgun to groan. “I was so close to getting that yogurt cup I could taste it.” Your words came out more of a whine than a groan.
“Don’t be late next time, then! What took you so long?” Enid elbowed your side, almost causing you to spit your coke out all over yourself as you kicked her back under the table with equal force.
“I had to clean up this giant mess in Xavier’s shed,” you grumbled. “Leftovers from fighting practice.”
“Fighting practice! Everyone’s been talking about your fighting practice and I want the tea, so spill.” Enid raised an eyebrow at you, taking a sip of her own tea as she grinned.
“Not everyone.” Yoko scoffed from across the table, rolling her eyes as she chuckled a little at the blonde’s exaggeration. “Us, Enid. We’ve been talking about it, not the whole school.”
“Yeah, because we want to know how in hell you managed to not only get lessons with her but somehow not get killed in the process,” Bianca raised an eyebrow, pointing her plastic fork at you for emphasis as she spoke. “She must be using you somehow.”
Enid jumped in to defend her roommate quickly. “Hey, Wednesday doesn’t use people-!”
The table burst into conversation and argument, nothing too serious, and you just listened as you chugged the rest of your coke, the sound of it melding quite nicely with the noisy chatter of the dining hall.
You clearly weren’t paying attention because one second everyone was fighting and the next Wednesday was standing right behind you and Enid, and this time you did choke on your coke, the soda going down the wrong pipe and causing you to cough as you covered your mouth, embarrassed.
“Speak of the devil,” Bianca muttered, rolling her eyes at the sight of Wednesday.
“Don’t flatter me,” came the response, the raven glaring at the siren with such a gaze that could make a grown man cry. Addressing nobody else, she turned to Enid. “I’d appreciate your assistance using this.”
Wednesday handed the blonde her phone. It was the one you knew Xavier had given her and not once had you seen her use it, not that you assumed she knew how.
Enid tapped on it a couple times, adjusting some things on screen before handing it back to Wednesday, who frowned in slight distaste at the phone. nodding her thanks and turning on her heel.
As she walked past you she placed a yogurt cup in front of you, not even making eye contact as she did so.
“Addams’ giving gifts?” Bianca snickered, raising an eyebrow to tease Wednesday, who glared coldly in response, hissing. “Thing retrieved the yogurt cup for me. Seeing as I have no regard for anything slightly sweet it was of no use to me and I was to get it out of my hands.”
The raven locked eyes with you at the end of her sentence and you felt a very noticeable blush ride to your face as you met her glare.
“Suggest anything personal such as me giving anyone a gift again, Barclay, and I’ll filet your scales out one by one.” Wednesday threatened the siren coldly. Her eyes met yours once more, something flickering within them before she turned and left. As you watched her go, no you did not see Thing anywhere near her, nor could scent him.
Liar.
You dug your spoon into the yogurt, mixing the berries together, suddenly aware of the silence around you. You paused and looked up, raising an eyebrow. “What-?”
“Nothingggg!” Enid said in a singsong tone, giggling as she looked at you. “I just think that someone maybe has a little crush?”
The blonde’s words were met with a chorus of agreement and laughter, save Bianca who still looked pissed from her conversation with Wednesday, to no surprise.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” you huffed as you spooned your yogurt, the blush on your face getting darker. Damnit. Yoko slammed her palm on the table, pointing at you.
“Your tells don’t lie, Y/N. I’ve never seen your face that shade of red before. Something’s up.”
You groaned, glaring at her without a retort to fire back. You were going to get her back for it. You kicked her shin underneath the table, smirking with satisfaction when the vampire winced.
“Look, all we’re saying is that first off you totally do have a crush,” Yoko pointed out, raising an eyebrow. “But aside from that, you could get murdered. Seriously, Y/N, I’m worried for your safety. Do all werewolves have a death wish?”
“Nah, just the hot ones,” you responded sarcastically, draining the last of the yogurt cup and standing up. “I’m gonna bounce, I’m headed out for a run.”
You were met with a couple goodbyes, a nod from Bianca, and a raise of an eyebrow from Yoko, but Enid stood up with you, nodding, “Yeah I’m going with you.”
You started to speak up, confused; Enid had never shown interest in going on a run with you before - but when you saw the blonde's face, telling you to stay quiet, you did as told and nodded, walking with her out of the dining hall.
As soon as the two of you were out of sight the blonde pulled you aside in the hall, holding both of your shoulders.
“Look, I’m not gonna lie, Wednesday totally likes you,” Enid said with a grin. “It’s not like many people can tell, but seeing as I’m her roomie I can see when she’s got a soft spot for someone and you’ve got her wrapped around your finger.”
“Are you sure about that?” You raised an eyebrow, trying to ignore the prickling on your neck at the thought of what she was suggesting. “She seems to hate me.”
“Oh please, Y/N, wake up and smell the roses.” Enid rolled her eyes, shaking your shoulders a little. “I’m trying to help you out here.”
You sighed and muttered, “Fine. Enlighten me, oh great sensei.”
“Don’t be a dick, and listen.” Enid shook you harder. “You need to get her attention, more so than already. Show her you’re bold.”
“And how would I do that?” You said in a bit of confusion as to where this was heading.
“Maybe go out and kill something and bring it back to her? As like- to show you’re a good hunter?” The blonde didn't even notice your eyes scrunching up in distaste.
“Or I could steal something-“ You went completely off the rails, eyes sparking at your own idea as Enid frowned. “She deserves payback after making me clean up her mess.”
“Y/N, I don’t think that’s such a good idea-“ Enid shook her head, face going slightly pale. “No matter what feelings Wednesday might have towards you, she'll literally murder you if you take any of her stuff.”
“Too late!” You were grinning now, eyes alight with mischievous intent, hopping a little on your toes with the excitement of it all. “She totally deserves it.”
You were already starting to scramble down the hallway, your run forgot, but Enid grabbed our arm, speaking seriously. “Y/N, no matter what you do, just - be careful and don’t mess anything up. The fact that Wednesday likes you already means you’re on thin ice, so be careful.”
You looked at Enid and nodded impatiently. “Thanks for the advice, E, I owe you one!”
With that you turned and raced down the hall, your mind set on the prize to snatch. Something the Addams treasured, cared for, loved, even.
The typewriter.

Rumor has it : Xavier Thorpe x F!reader
Tumblr media
request: can u do enemy!xavier getting into a fight with someone bcs they've been slutshaming reader and reader pulls him out of the fight and cleans him up?
Let me tell you: Xavier is NOT a fighter.
warning: slut-shaming, a bit innuendos, brief mention of blood and injuries, school drama , oblivious school staff
„Enid! Do you know what they say about your roommate?” Ajax noticed the blond she-wolf in the quad and approached her immediately
“Wednesday? Yes, I heard a lot of stories, but I can assure you none of them…..”
“No, not the new one. I meant Y/n.”
“Y/N? What can they say about her? She’s one of the kindest girl I know.”
“Yeah, well, maybe she’s a little bit too kind….” The gorgon scratched his head, or rather his beanie, awkwardly.
“What do you mean?” Enid frowned eyeing her boyfriend carefully, not understanding a word coming out of his mouth
“Rumor has it…. Um… it’s a bit embarrassing to say it.”
“You don’t need to. I won’t force you. It’s like you said – it’s just a gossip, right? Nothing to believe in?”
“ Sure.”
“Then how about….” She started, but stopped in the middle of the sentence “oh, who am I kidding? Of course I’m going to force you. I need to know! And besides, Y/N is my friend so if anyone is trash-talking her I swear I will wolf out on them. Even if I can’t really do this. Now, talk to me.”
“Some people….”
“Boys or girls?”
“Both in fact. They accuse her of being …. How do I put it? A soft touch.”
“WHAT?” Enid could not hold back the disbelief and surprise in her voice. And some pain on the account of her friend. “Y/n? Are we talking about the same person? She sticks to the rules. She respects herself. She would never!”
“I know. And you know. And a lot of people know that. But you know, one fake word and it’s spreading around the school.”
“Let’s hope this word do not reach her ears. I can’t imagine how much pain and suffering this will put her through.”
“What is going on with you, today?” Thera, one of the sirens, who was her regular partner stopped in her tracks seeing how shaky her opponent’s hands were and how it was almost impossible for her to  hold her skewer “I’m not going to fight with you.”
***
At the same time, the girl in subject was in the middle of the fencing class, not really doing well. Despite Enid’s wishful thinking she already was finger-pointed by some of her classmates, for reason unknown to the her,  and it caused  girl’s absent-mindedness and distraction. It was not normal for one of the most skilled fencer to make the rookie mistakes. Normally no one would pay attention and most would even enjoy her slipping, but in addition to that she was also extremely sad and anxious.
“Are you giving up so easily? Scared I will beat you? Again?”
“I’m showing you mercy.” She scoffed, but still kept all the dignity of her kind. “Honestly, it would be degrading for me to fight you in this state. Get yourself together girl.”
“Look who’s talking.” Y/n spat at her
“Um, excuse me?” Thera scoffed, her face expression changing from condescending to angry.
“You’ve been a mess ever since you broke up with….”
“Oh, don’t you dare finishing that sentence!” siren came right at the other girl, taking her by surprise and causing her to trip over her feet and fall down to the ground. “Now, that is better. Being on the ground seems more natural to you, doesn’t it?” she smirked
“What are you….”
“Oh, I’ll tell you what.” Thera crouched on the ground next to Y/N, leaning into her ear “being under someone is your natural state, am I wrong, slut?”
Oh, that hurt. Y/N heard some whispers on the corridor this morning as she was walking by. Whispers about a girl with bad reputation. She turned a deaf ear to them, mostly because she was never into gossip, but also because she knew Enid would let her in the news, but now? Now it was all becoming perfectly clear.  She was that girl. A slut, apparently. But why? Obviously this was  a lie and Y/N never gave anyone any reason to call her like that. Quite the opposite, actually. Always sticking to the “no boys” policy. Focused on her duties and school obligations. Avoiding romances, flirting and giving anyone any pretence to accuse her of doing something wrong. In the matter of relationship she was much like Wednesday Addams, cut the death glare. So why would someone disseminate such bullshit? Why would someone want to hurt her? Hundreds of questions started spinning in her mind, most of them starting with “Why?”, because she felt overwhelming unfairness of the situation. She was so vulnerable and just as the tears was about to flow down her cheek the fencing master finally got his head around what was going on. One of the students shaking on the ground, completely defenseless, the other with foil in hand and vicious smile. Not good.
“Do we have a problem here, ladies?” he asked approaching the girls
“No, no problem, sir” thera smiled widely showing all her teeth and it came out predatory rather than charming “Y/N tripped and I was just helping her up”
“All right then. Y/N get back on your feet, you still have a duel to finish.
“I…. I don’t really feel very well sir…” y/n muttered, holding her tears back, but not wanting to spend any more minute in this stupid class. The only thing she wished for was getting back to her dorm, covering herself with blanket and pretending nothing was happening.
“I noticed.” Oh, now he noticed “very well then. I will assign you an easier opponent today. How about…..” he turned around the class, searching for the right person to match Y/N’s impaired skills “Mr. Thorpe. Come forward.”
“Why me?” he muttered
“Why him?” Y/N hissed at the same moment. This unison in mutual reluctance made both of them look into each other’s eyes. Auch! It was like the electricity run through their veins, forcing them to turn the gaze away. Everyone at school knew that Xavier wasn’t exactly the greatest fan of Y/N and the other way roud. Of course, for the sake of their common friends (Enid and Ajax included) they were forced to deal with each other from time to time, but it took a lot of effort. They were never paired in class before and the rest of the students held their breaths in anticipation. This dead silence made both Y/N and Xavier regain their common sense.
“You know what, I’m good” Y/N shrugged casually keeping her cool “opponent like any other.”
“You took the words out of my mouth” Xavier smirked.
The teacher nodded and went on to observe other student dueling, not paying any more attention to Thorpe – Y/L/N dynamics.
“Are you all right” Xavier asked before putting his mask on. Clearly he noticed her being blue and those treacherous water in the corner of her eyes
“Why do you care all of a sudden?!” she hissed, not wanting any more attention “we’re not friends, stop acting like you care! You only bare with me because of Ajax. And maybe because you want to get close to Wednesday.”
“I….”
“You’re not the only observant one in the room. I noticed how you look at her.”
“You do realize you just admitted to being sad?”
“Oh, damn it!” she secured her face with mask “are you gonna fight me or what?”
“Gladly.” He mirrored her action and inflicted a blow.
***
The situation was getting worse. Now she was hunted by the words. Slut, bitch, easy girl. Sometimes it was impossible to get out of bed. Y/n wanted to stay hidden from the whole world, pretending like she didn’t exist as some sort of self-protection. She couldn’t even walk her way towards the classroom without being chased by pitying looks, smirks and damning words. Or worse, offensive propositions from some of the more courageous boys. Most of the time she had to walk to class with Ajax or Enid or both just to make it intact. Playing cool and acting like she didn’t care was taking all her energy and on Friday she woke up crying.
“I don’t” Enid interrupted her “Ajax doesn’t. Kent and Divina doesn’t. And Yoko. And hopefully, Wednesday…..”
“Y/N” Within seconds Enid was by her side, holding her hand and hugging her “please, don’t cry or I will.”
“How can I not?” Y/N sobbed “everyone thinks I’m a …..
“I don’t. I dealt with bullies before. I can give you an example of how to retaliate on them.”
“Um, thanks Wednesday, but lashing piranhas on people is not really my style. Besides, I still don’t know who started this.”
“And you don’t need to know.” Wednesday stated blankly “we can just get rid of everyone who repeat it.”
“Wednesday!” Enid was appalled by her attitude “that is not the answer!”
“You’ll do what you want, but don’t say I didn’t give you an easy solution.”
“Right.” Y/N sobbed again “I think I’m gonna skip classes today. Please, tell Thornhill I wasn’t feeling well. Honestly, this is not even a lie…..”
***
Instead of attending botany class, Y/N decided to take a little walk at the lake. Being around water always made her feel better, even despite the fact she wasn’t a siren and it was pretty unusual behavior for an airbender. Most of the time her kind avoided the opposite element., but not her. As she was enjoying the little breeze coming from the water, some laughs and catcalling sounds came from behind and she was forced to turn around as a strong hand fell on her arm starting her.
“Oh, there you are, little one. Waiting for another boy to take care of you?” one of the boys mocked
“Go away” she muttered flatly
“Oh, sweetheart, don’t be like that. I bet we can have some fun.” The other chimed in.
“Yeah, Tom said you can be a lot of fun. Airbender, huh? Bet that add some spice.”
“Tom?” Y/N eyes went wide and suddenly she knew who was the reason behind her torment. The boy she turned down. She refused to get together with him, so to humiliate her and avenge his broken ego he came up with completely made up stories. Well, as much as it hurt, it worked. “That piece of….”
“Shh. Keep that pretty mouth shut.” The first boy came right at her grabbing her chin forcefully
“That is, as long as we tell you to. Those lips may actually come of use later on and ….”
“Leave her alone!” sudden male voice captured everyone attention
“Oh, shit!” Y/N though. The last person I need. What it Thorpe doing here?!
“You know, you can always join us. If what they say about her stamina is right, she’ll be of use to us all……”
He did not get to sat another word as a perfectly aimed punch threw him off guard. Honestly, the only good one since Xavier Thorpe was not exactly a good fighter. Soon he lost his balance and the cards turned on his disadvantage.
“Stop it!” she yelled and surprisingly they all listened turning the gaze on her “I’ll… I’ll go with you, just, just let him go. “ she looked upon Xavier whose lip was busted and whose nose was bleeding and already started to swell. “Let him go, please…” he wasn’t a friend but surely she couldn’t let him get beaten to pulp because of her he was an idiot.
‘Y/N….” Xavier muttered in a warning tone. Don’t you dare.
“now, pretty one. Isn’t that better and easier for everyone?” three boys approached her once again but when they got close enough she made a wind so strong it caused a huge wave and wetted them all from heads to toes.
“Run!” she rushed past the assaulters, helping Xavier on his feet and before the boys realized what happened Y/N and Xavier were halfway to the school.
“What the hell were you thinking?!” she lashed out on him as soon as they reached the quad
“You know, a bit of gratitude would be nice. I was trying to defend you after all.”
“Defend me!” she scoffed “Look where it got you….” her eyes saddened as she looked on his bruised face.
“Y/N…”
“Don’t Y/N me! Just … just show me, that” she cupped his cheek forcing him to look at her and she froze at the spot. What the hell was happening. “I owe you.” she moved a feet away “so as thanks I’m gonna patch you up. Stay here, I’m gonna get some bandages.”
“Whatever.”
She was there and back in a couple of minutes, which made him wonder whether she was running.
“Such a hurry for me?” he smirked
“You must have hit your head pretty hard during that scrimmage. I will never run for anyone. Waste of air in lungs.”
“And that’s coming from the air master.”
“Airbender.” She corrected. “Now stop talking. I need to clean your face.”
He listened and the silence that fell between them was a bit uncomfortable. Here they were. Two people, who were never close, in the middle of an empty quad, not saying a word to each other even if the situation called (or rather screamed) for some explanation.
“Why did you do this?” she asked pulling away after disinfecting his wounds “why did you got involved.”
“Because you didn’t deserve it.”
“That is not a good enough reason to get oneself beaten up.”
“Look.” He rubbed his forehead “regardless of what you think I am not your enemy. And I don’t consider you to be mine. I was just wondering. Maybe we can start our acquaintance again? Not because of Enid’s or Ajax’s or Addams’s sake. I just… I just think we may benefit from it.
“I’m Y/N Y/L/N”  she smiled and reached for his hand.
“Nice to meet you Y/N. I’m Xavier Thorpe.” He shook it and reciprocated.
Maybe there was something good coming after all.

"Do I have paint on my face?"
Xavier Thorpe x reader
Synopsis: Xavier let's you study in his art shed while he is painting.
I made a little mixtape for this small blurb and all the xavier simps out there. Also, I have left the end of the story open, so that everyone can imagine how it continues. I hope you like it.
Warnings: none
Xavier invited you to his shed to study in peace because your roommate can't seem to shut up about their new crush.
At first he was hesitant, after all it's his safe place but after seeing your disheveled state as you tried to find a quiet spot, he took you in.
Now you're sitting at his desk and he's working on a new painting while one of his playlists is playing in the background. Only now there's a different kind of problem.
You found the perfect place to study but now something else seems to be distracting you, or rather someone else. You just can't take your eyes off him anymore and watch him. How he moves, how concentrated he works on his new project, how he bites his lip to think about where to put the next brush stroke. Your eyes kept wandering and literally fixated on his lips.
Suddenly the silence between the two of you was interrupted when he said, "Do I have paint on my face? Or why are you staring at me like that?" The tone he used was not meant sarcastically, as he always talks to you but rather in a teasing tone. Then he turned to face you. "What? Cat got your tongue?" He laughed softly and took a few steps towards you until he was standing right in front of the desk looking down at you.

Run Boy Run
Synopsis: Wednesday Addams has had visions of this girl for a month, and she was supposed to die the day they meet. Xavier Thorpe has had dreams of this girl for a month, and she was in serious need of help. Wednesday thought her first semester at Nevermore Academy was fun, but now? The mystery has never been greater. She would not rest until the truth was revealed.
Who is the girl that was supposed to die, and why is she being hunted down by demons?
_____________
Her heart beat heavy in her chest. Her thighs burned with exertion. Her arms pumped at her side.
She heard it behind her which was good. She knew how far away it was.
A fallen tree blocked her path and instead of going around, she planted her palms on the bark, pushed up, and rolled over the top. She landed on her feet and was running again, knowing she had lost another second because the beast that followed her wouldn't have struggled as much as she had.
It landed, the sound of a heavy body hitting leaves and twigs and crunching the earth.
She had lost more than a second, then.
She whirled, hair cutting through the air, and her fingers crossed together. Her thumbs overlapped each other, her pointer and middle fingers as well. The others stayed splayed open, and her magic burned into the air as she shouted, "Mosra!"
The beast hit her shield and she was driven back. Staring into its black eyes, its foaming mouth, its wickedly sharp horns; nightmare worthy. Its claw nails swiped at her shield, her feet dug further into the ground, her biceps burned now too with the exertion to keep up her protection.
It roared at her, the force not pushing her hair back and yet still, it almost felt like there was a ripple in her face.
She needed to think of another spell, but in her moment of need everything she had ever learned had vanished from her head. She was a clear canvas and her panic grew. That panic was her demise.
Another swipe. Her shield broke. He reeled back and his foot nailed her in the chest. The air was knocked out of her, pain flared from her chest, and when she hit the ground, that wasn't the end. She was on a hill now and her body rolled like a log down a mountain. She picked up speed, she didn't spend as often on the ground because she was half bouncing. Every hit was a shutter through her body. It was a never ending torture. Rocks imbedded into her skin. Twigs snapped at her weight. The hard ground offered no comfort with her descent.
Then she hit a tree, her back bending around it, and she finally stopped.
Her hair, the color of ginger root, covered her bloodied, scraped face. Her ribs expanded, shallow in their movements, with her slow breaths. Her bleeding fingers twitched on the ground.
Behind the cloak of her hair, blue eyes opened, light and tired. The world blurred to her, stabilizing only after locking onto the beast that neared her. Getting closer. Coming to finish its hunt. To take her away.
Her finger twitched more. Her cracked lips, exposing red stained teeth, began to move, a whisper escaping.
A cough racked her body, her eyes watered at the white hot pain that shot through her, and her spell work faltered. There was no time to start over, she had to pray it would still be fine.
The beast loomed overhead, its shadow covered her in cold and dark, and its clawed hand raised.
It never did swipe down. Another beast, a werewolf, attacked out of nowhere, sinking its teeth into the demons neck. Their bodies clashed together and momentum took them a distance away – it gave her the time she needed as the sound of snapping jaws and howls filled the air.
The ground cratered and she rolled into a wash of black fog.
Immediately, she knew she wasn't any safer. The ground wasn't stable, she was rolling again, but on a different surface. It was firm, prickled like sandpaper – roof tiles.
She was on a slanted roof.
Her eyes widened, her hair plastered to her bleeding face as rain from a cloud decimated sky poured down on her. The edge neared, she barely latched onto the gutter before her body was swinging over. A cry sobbed out, all her weight held on by her cut hands. The large slice from when the demon had first appeared made itself known again, singing its stinging anger.
She shut her eyes, slowing her breathing, and opened them slowly. She was staring at a brick wall, a shade of dark grey. Her body was still but inside she rattled with nerves. Those nerves manifested when she looked down.
She shut her eyes again, looking up.
A four story drop. She was going to die. After all her efforts, she was still going to die.
A bolt popped, and her eyes flew open again. She stared at the gutter, stared at where the metal was bending under her weight.
The rain filled the gutters already, her fingers were submerged in their cold embrace. There had to be a blockage somewhere – which wasn't important right now. What was important? Getting out of this.
Her muscles bulged, her face stretched with a grimace, and she ended up screaming, trying to pull herself up. Damn her lack of upper body strength! She needed to reach out, she needed to try and climb up, but she felt if she let one of her hands off the gutter, she'd condemn herself. And yet, if she didn't let go of the gutter and put her weight elsewhere, she condemned herself.
Her body clenched up, she steeled her nerves, and another bolt popped off. Her hand shot out, letting go of the gutter to grab onto the tiles. No good. The tiles were slippery despite feeling of sandpaper. There was no place for her to latch onto. She dug her nails in, feeling her stability slip further, and it was her undoing.
Her weight was distributed before by two points of contact. Now, with only one hand, it was too much.
The gutter popped off, away from the roof, as a trap door opened up and a head of dark black hair shot up.
Giavanna screamed, blood curdling and piercing the dark day as she fell. Her arms whirled, her legs kicked, there was no reason for either of those things, but she did it anyway. It felt better than just letting herself drop like deadweight.
And for one final time, her eyes shut, this time with acceptance. She hadn't done it. She hadn't outrun her fate. Her mother. Her father. She had given it her all and still, she wasn't good enough.
She had been destined to die before she was ever born, at least she got 16 years out of it first.
She didn't hit the ground first. It was something softer that broke her fall, but inevitably crumbled under her weight. They went down together, and her head hit the cobblestone.
Rain continued to fall. The clouds only darkened. The rhythmic hitting of the droplets on cobblestone echoed due to the architecture surrounding it.
Wednesday Addams stood on the roof, looking down, dark hair conforming to the contours of her face. Her eyes, blacker than night, locked onto the girl on the ground. Red hair splayed out, a pool of much darker red seeping out beneath her head. Her blouse outlining her figure and mixing with water and blood. Staining the surrounding area pink, not just red anymore. A skirt that stopped above her knees, torn and cut until it looked like it was supposed to be frayed.
Wednesday Addams had been seeing this girl for a month. At first it was just the back of her, but even that was a tell tale sign, the color of her hair her greatest identifier. Then it was just her eyes, light blue, piercing, mischievous.
Then running out of her house, which set on fire as soon as she was a safe distance away. A roar sounding in the distance.
Finally? Running through a forest, danger imminent yet invisible to Wednesday.
Wednesday had been looking forward to another adventure. Nothing said the beginning of her second semester at school quite like a murder mystery.
Only, as she was staring down at the girl on the ground, Wednesday realized she wasn’t dead.
Her brows knit for a second, disappointment creeping around her like Thing when he was lonely, her pierced lips pinching more.
And all the way down on the ground, this was indeed true. Giavanna was not dead, and it was all thanks to the boy beneath her, who had seen her coming just like Wednesday had.
He took in a sharp breath, waking up from his momentary unconsciousness. Pain radiated up, aching from his leg. There was a pressure on him, and when he half sat up, leaning on his elbows, he realized who it was.
His chest rose and fell, rain soaking him, and failure hit him first. There was too much blood for her to be alive. It was everywhere on her, a hideously dark color that contrasted violently with her tan skin and lighter color scheme.
Then he saw that first breath and knew.
The girl from his dreams was alive.

ever after jealousy
Xavier Thorpe x [Reader x Normie]
Part one // part two // part three // part four // finale // Epilouge
(summary: xavier deals with the consequences of his actions)
Joel is a semi-refrence to the character in Values
Five Months after [Y/n] had finally recovered, and was completely out of the hospital. Her feeling for Xavier gone completely no more pinning, no more heartbreak. Honestly, she never felt more free able to free herself from being used, as a jealousy magnet.
She giggled, lifting up the mug and taking another sip of hot chocolate, that Joel had made for her.
Joel, a normie boy, around 16. A friend she made while in hospital both him and his school, where visiting patients in the hospital. And he was assigned to [Y/n]’s room.
That’s how they first met, immediately hitting it off. Having common interest in things, movies, books. [Y/n] didn’t immediately fall in love, it was a slow process but eventually she did.
She loved seeing him when we she was having a bad day, he was there to cheer her up. With his homemade hot chocolate, oh that became her favorite drink. with freshly made whipped cream, toasted marshmallow, hint of cinnamon, and chocolate flakes. Oh, she was in heaven when drinking it.
Joel, would visit even on days he didn’t need to. They’d play video games on his Nintendo Switch, together. Watch movies, and he’d even read to her.
When she told him about Xavier, he was pissed, and angry to find out how he treated her. Using her as a pawn for jealousy. He hated the thought of it. How could someone treat someone so kind, sweet, and beautiful so poorly. Someone who’s been there for years, and even shared a first kiss with so poorly.
She smiled, hearing those words from him. When she was discharged they decided to celebrate at the Weathervane, where he worked and made her his special hot choclate.
“Well, here’s to your discharge.” He says, and she giggles as their mugs make a clink sound. And the two take a sip of their respective cups.
Xavier froze walking into the Weathervane, and froze seeing her sitting at the booth with a normie. He knew his chances with her were dashed, the moment she told him her feelings were no more. But he at least hoped that maybe one day.
“Oh, you really need to tell me this recipe,” she asks, talking about the hot chocolate,
“I can’t, I’ll never reveal my secrets.” He says, and she giggles smiling softly as she looks at him.
“You have some.”
“Whipped cream, right…”
“There.” He says, kissing it off her nose. She blushed, sipping on her cup of hot chocolate.
Xavier shook his head, and left. [Y/n] turned around, and thought she saw someone. “What’s wrong?” Joel asked, and she shook her head and smiled placing the mug onto the table.
“Nothing,” she says, smiling planting on kiss on his cheek.

You were laying on top of Enid's multiple plushies, breathing heavy and hands everywhere. Wednesday was finally out of the dorm and you and your girlfriend could have some well deserved alone time.
Pulling away your mind was hazy as you looked at the colorful girl on top of you. "mind telling me what's poking my side Enid" you smirk. Blushing she looked away alarmed, having hoped you didn't notice that. "Well - sometimes when I'm really really excited my nails come out like that. I'm really sorry, it's a werewolf thing and I didn't mean to do that" she smiled embarrassingly as her nails quickly retracted into their normal shape.
"No no it's alright baby! Don't worry it wasn't bothering me" you smiled before pulling her down again to continue your make out sesh.
Half an hour later everything had escalated quite a bit, with Enid's manicured hands inside your bra, yours holding onto her bare hips for dear life and your leg between her thighs. You had just went to kiss her collarbones when you felt a sharp pain in the side on of your boobs. "Holy fuck baby - " you moaned slightly at the surprisingly arousing feeling. Shocked Enid stared at you, not expecting that reaction from you at all, seeing you were usually quiet while doing this type of stuff. "That was really hot" she giggled before scratching the sides on your stomach a little and kissing the nape of your neck to try to get that reaction out of you again, moaning you put your face into her neck, trying to not make too much sound to disturb the other people in the school.
"Enid -- do you guys mind not doing this in my dorm, this is absolutely atrocious" a scowling voice sounded as the door slammed open.

part one: here!
𝙰𝚗𝚍 𝚜𝚘 𝚒𝚝 𝚋𝚎𝚐𝚒𝚗𝚜….
Really, it was a coincidence. No one knows why Wednesday Addams decided to come here. She had never explored this part of the woods before, it's not like she ever needed to really as the graveyard had always been her favorite place on the Addams property. But today Wednesday had decided she wanted to bury her brother alive, somewhere new. Somewhere far, where no one could save him. At the ripe age of 7, Wednesday had determined that she liked the pain of others. Since no one else was around, her brother was her favorite and only victim.
As the little addams was pouring dirt over the newly filled grave she heard a flapping sound, then a rustle of branches, then a snap of twigs. It all happened in quick succession and Wednesday was curious, just what creature is making such noise. As she looked around she saw a pair of bright golden eyes peeking at her through the trees.
"Who are you?" Wednesday asked, stoic but curious.
" I am called Endeara, and you", The voice answered.
"come out and I'll tell you" Wednesday demanded, clutching her shovel tightly in her fist. Prepared to destroy this new beast. Wednesday was never one for emotions, nothing really ever catching her interest much less shocking her. But if she was to feel such foolish things, she thinks it would be something like this. Wednesday had prepared herself for some new monster to add to her menagerie, yet her plans were foiled as out stepped a little girl. Close to her age it seemed, maybe a year or two older, with large horns and larger wings. Both a deep brown, almost black, flecked in what looked like gold. This winged little girl was dressed in what the Addams surmised as animal skins, covered in crystals and bones. Long hair to her legs with braids and small flowers, what especially caught the Addams eye was the white streak in the front. A stark contrast to the little being.
"What are you?", Wednesday asked again, and the girl... Endeara, laughed.
"I am fae, and now I have met your demands. It's time to hold up your end of the bargain, what is your name?"
"Wednesday."

New Years Eve- Xavier Thorpe
Tumblr media
"Here," Enid says as she hands me a flier.
"A New Year's party, really?" I ask her.
"Yup, Thornhill helped me get it approved," she tells me while still handing flier out to people.
"Party's aren't really my thing," I tell her.
"You're coming," she declared for me.
"Why do I have to?" I ask her.
"Because you are my friend and you should support my hobbies," Enid says.
"I didn't know party planning was a hobby," I say to myself.
"Fine, I'll go," I tell her.
"Great make sure you get there at 10," she tells me as she walks in the direction of another group of people. I start walking in the direction of my art class when I hear my name being called.
"Y/n," someone shouts my name. I turn around to find Ajax.
"Oh hey Ajax," I say with a smile.
"Hey," he says back a little out of breathe from having to catch up to me.
"I saw you talking to Enid," he says.
"Yeah she is forcing me to go to her New Year's party," I tell him.
"Oh do you think she uh has a date?" He asks me nervously.
"No probably not. I bet she was to busy planning the party to worry about a date," I tell him.
"Oh uh great thanks," he tells me with a smile.
"You're welcome, I'll see you tonight," I say to him as I walk into the art room and take my see beside Xavier.
"Going on a date?" He asks me with a frown.
"What?" I question confused. Then I realize he meant Ajax.
"Oh you mean Ajax. No, he was asking me if Enid had a date to her New Year's party," I tell him.
"Are you going to the party?" he asks me.
"Yeah, Enid is making me go. If I had a choice I would definitely just stay home," I tell him.
"Oh," he says looking at me with a frown.
"Are you going?" I ask him.
"Uh yeah probably," he tells me.
"At least I'll have someone to talk to at the party then," I tell him with a smile.
"Definitely," he says back. After class is over I pack up all my things and start to head back finish my homework before the party. When I look at the time I see it's almost 9 PM and I quickly start to get ready for the party. I curl my hair and decide to leave it down.  For makeup I did a natural base with just some smoked out brown eyeliner and for my outfit I chose to wear a sparkly sliver button up, a black mini skirt, and some knee high black boots. I quickly add some last minute lip gloss before heading out the door.
At the party
When I get to the party it's about 10:15. I get myself a drink then try to find Enid. When I see her she is talking to Ajax and I don't want to interrupt so I start trying to find Xavier instead. When I find him he is sitting in the corner with a drink in his hand looking at the floor.
"You know most people try to have fun at parties," I say to him as a take a seat next to him.
"Oh hey I was starting to think you stood me up," he tells me with a small smile.
"Me stand you up? Never," I tell him with a smile.
"Why are you sitting in the corner alone?" I ask him.
"I was thinking," he tells me.
"What were you thinking about?" I question.
"There is this girl I want to kiss tonight but I don't know how to tell her," he tells me with a frown.
"Don't tell her. When the ball drops just turn to her and ask to kiss her," I say back trying to make things easy for him.
"Okay," he says with a smile. For the next almost two hours Xavier and I just sit there and talk. When it's 11:55 we get up and I pull him towards the crowd of people around the TV.
"Aren't you going to go find the girl you want to kiss?" I turn and ask Xavier.
"Oh uh," he starts to say something but gets cut off by everyone screaming.
"Happy New Year," everyone screams.
"Happy New Year Xavier," I tell him with a smile.
"Happy New Year Y/n," he says.
"Can I kiss you?" He asks.
"Yeah," I whisper back as he leans into kiss me. I kiss him back right away for a couple seconds until I pull away.
"I was the girl?" I question looking into his eyes.
"Obviously," he says before he kisses me again

Consolation: Enid Sinclair x f!reader
Tumblr media
request: I’d like to request something with Enid x fem!reader where Enid’s s/o comforts her after parents week and everything that happens with her mother.
„So, your father bailed on you this year as well?”
Xavier raised eyes on me and his pouted lips and annoyed expression were enough for an answer.
“You know, I don’t even care anymore” he shrugged, not having a care in the world.
“Mhm, right. Sure.” I leaned on the wall next to him watching everything that was happening in the quad during the first parents-students meeting this semester.
“Looks like your family abandoned you as well….” Xavier started.
“Well, you know, banshees are not exactly known as the familiar ones. It’s enough emotions for us to sense death around…..” I muttered, busy looking for a familiar face in the crowd of people downstairs. “Do you think she’s alright?”
“Who?” Xavier followed my gaze “Oh. Enid. I don’t know. She’s another one to have complicated family relationship, isn’t she?”
“You have no idea” I sighed deeply “I’m worried about her, you know. She looks…. sad. So much different from the happy, bursting joy of sunshine she is every day.”
“It’s just one weekend, I bet she’s…..”
“You know, maybe I’m being delusional as on only child, but I always thought having a lot of siblings means that you have someone to talk to or fight against or get into trouble together….”
“That might as well make us brother and sister.” Xavier smirked, but I barely heard his words, being too much inside my head.
“….and just look at them.  She’s all alone while her brothers play together. And her mother? Ugh. She’s just pushing her so hard. It’s so unfair! It’s not her fault she did not wolf out, yet!”
“Ok, Y/N, you might want to calm down…..” Thorpe put a hand on my shoulder and that made me realize I was squeezing the stones so hard my hands started to bleed. “Take it easy. You know you can always step in and become her knight in shining armor saving her from the literal claws of her relatives, right?”
“What? Oh hell, no! I love her, but her mother scares the shit out of me. I can sense a lot of negativity coming from her. Definitely a lot more than she’s showing.”
“Whatever you say. I guess we are cursed with each other this weekend than.”
“Could have been worse, I guess” I shoved him playfully, but my worries and fears about my wolf girlfriend were still there.
***
“Y/N” I turned around facing forward but there was no one in front of me. Luckily, quick enough I realized the voice was coming from below and lowered my gaze only to spot Wednesday Addams glaring at me.
“Hello Wednesday.” I smirked “it is a wonderful day, isn’t it?” I tried my best to get any reaction from her, but her face did not change in the slightest so I dropped the act. “what do you want?”
“There’s nothing you could do to be useful to me.” She said flatly “Enid, however…..”
“Did something happen to her?” ok, now I was concerned. Just the mention of her name I was ready to jump into fire. Given my girl’s character that wasn’t so unlikely.
“Apart from that catastrophe of parents visit? Nothing. It is truly, a beautiful tragedy.”
“Where is she? Wednesday!” I wanted to wake her up from her own dark, gloomy fantasies about horrors and fears, but Addams was too intimidating to shake her. And maybe I was a little scared she would kill me at the spot if I were to do that.
“Dorm. Obviously. She got into one of her emotional state. Refuse to go out and see anyone, though I can’t comprehend why. I was always the one to stand out from my family and yet it never drew any emotions out of me.” I did not even listen to her blabbering as I took off running towards the Ophelia Hall. “Interesting,” Wednesday muttered to herself “and absolutely unnecessary.”
***
The wooden floor creaked the second I took a first step and the sound startled Enid, who ironically was a bit jumpy for a werewolf.  She abruptly turned towards the door, her cheeks puffy, eyes bleary from the tears falling down freely and that view broke my heart in a million pieces. My wonderful girl, my lovely golden-labrador, purely-hearted, perfect, innocent, sensitive girlfriend. Someone hurt her. Someone being most probably her mother. I felt endless rage just because of watching her broken figure, her hopeless expression and at the moment I was ready to burn the whole world down and watch it go down in flames just to make her feel better. For those who doesn’t know, banshees scream are indications of death, and I sensed one coming from the back of my throat, but her crouched, small figure made me stop. She looked so fragile and broken, sobbing desperately, trying her best to calm down and failing spectacularly.
“Y/N” she managed to pant, wiping her tears, and I rushed to her side, my hands circling around her at once.
“I’m here, Enid. I’m here. It’s ok, love” I shuddered when she hid her face in the crook of my neck.
“I didn’t want you to see me like this.” She muttered
“Why?”
“Cause I’m always happy and …. And I though…..”
“Hey. Stop it. Look at me.” She raised her blurry eyes and locked them with mine “There’s nothing, nothing you can do to make me look at you differently. All right? Tears or smiles or throwing daggers…. I love you all the same in each of the moods, ok? You don’t have to hide. And certainly, I don’t need Wednesday Addams to inform me of your stare” I muttered holding her tighter.
“She came to you?”
“Yes. And I did not like that.”
“I told you she cares. In her own way, but she does.”
“Right.” I muttered. I was not going to admit to Enid I was simply jealous. At least not at the moment, since it was not the time nor the place, but maybe, maybe in the future we will have a conversation about this. “What happened? I mean, I know the effect your family has on you but this is a whole new level of sadness. Even for you.” I cupped her cheek “Come on, sunshine, let it out.”
“she wants to send me to lycanthrope conversion therapy!” she dropped the hammer and started crying again.
“Oh, my love” I circled her arms and pulled her closer not believing what I just heard. No words could ever express how I felt at that moment. “I’m not letting you go anywhere. “
“You don’t?” she asked weakly and hiccupped which made her let out a laugh.
“Oh, there is that little smile I love” I pressed a small kiss the corner of her lips “of course I’m not. Wait, did you think differently?” even the thought of her believing I would not fight for her made me appalled.
“I…. I…. was too worried to think.” She confessed finally “you know, it’s just painful seeing your family not accepting you.”
“Can’t say I have such an experience, but I know how it feels to be alone. “ once again, banshees are not family creatures. “but you know what, you have family here, at Nevermore. You have me, Ajax, Xavier and as much as I hate to admit it, Wednesday.”
“She’s one of a kind, isn’t she?”
I rolled my eyes. I did not want to talk about the dark haired girl.
“Look, Enid. We all love you. I love you. More than anything. You could you have  fangs , scales or feathers for  what I care. You could even be a normie and that wouldn’t make me love you less.   None of this matters to me. You are kind, unlike your mother apparently” I hissed and she scoffed me for that but smiled a bit, “helpful, selfless and smart. Brave and full of life, ready to explore it to the fullest. I love your pink hair” I touched the left side of her head “and your blue hair” then the right one “I love your eyes and your claws” I grabbed her hands in mine, rubbing thumb over her soft skin. “But what I love most is your smile, even when it’s not on your face.” I caressed her cheek “just a memory of it makes it all better for me” I rested my forehead on hers, like I was trying to convey all my emotions to her and she definitely got the message leaning in and kissing my cheek softly.
“Thank you” she whispered “you are my strength, you know?”
“Maybe, but sometimes I wonder how you put up with my murderous attitude.”
“I love your murderous attitude.” She grinned “I think I’m feeling better now. “
“Does that mean you are going to stand up to your mother?”
“Well, if staying here with you is at stake than I definitely  will” she laughed “can’t leave you alone in case you were trying to murder the whole school, right?”
Oh, how I loved having that little rainbow in my life.
