Can't believe (actually can) they brought Patrick Stewart back as Professor Xavier in that Doctor Strange movie only to have him quote himself from X-Men: Days of Future Past and then die violently like he did in Logan.

Patrick Stewart and Anson Mount are sure having a hell of a week LOL
Picard’s season 2 finale and Strange New Worlds’ season 1 premiere aired on the same day (both of them being Trek captains, Enterprise captains specifically), and then both popping into the Doctor Strange movie as members of the Illuminati literally the next day!
I am so happy to see them thriving! They deserve it!

Uncanny Star Trek?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Okay, I'm not saying this means anything.
I'm just saying that Patrick Stewart (Jean Luc Picard) and Anson Mount (Christopher Pike) both captained the USS Enterprise in Star Trek, then went on to become Charles Xavier and Black Bolt, two mega-powerful leaders of two separate super powered subspecies of humanity in the MCU. Not just that but they actually went to war with each other in the comics.
But it's just a coincidence. I'm not saying it's anything else. Oh, and there's this:

Again, by total coincidence, both teams are uncanny. Look for yourself. They both steadfastly refused to be canned.
Not saying it means anything. I just noticed, that's all.

Responses to the Picard / Xavier swap poll have me wondering:
It seems like "psychic Borg" should not only already be an issue, but potentially an exponential issue due to multiple forms of psychic powers in Trek?
But the Borg also don't seem to gain, and distribute, cool alien abilities.
That, or they have some really cool elite drones in storage somewhere that nobody ever sees.
