some of y’all have been acting real entitled in @ataleofcrowns’ inbox/comments for too long, from questioning why she won’t write a platonic only route for a ROMANCE game, to expecting her to do the work of unpacking racism on her game blog of all things, to now hounding her about fixing the choices you made with your rule and with your LIs.
tbh it’s so aggravating to witness bc i know cherry has not spent the past few years on crafting a narrative masterpiece for the convos post-release to be loudly derailed by complaints from people who demand to be spoonfed.
the atoc LIs aren’t the same kind of mc-obsessed trope frankensteins that infest the IF genre. they’re characters with agency and motives and distinct personalities. and the game itself is about navigating the tumultuous situation of being a ruler that is stepping into their role without preparation. we’re not even halfway through the plot yet—it’s inevitable that a brand new crown makes mistakes with their rule and that the exploration of a romance not be smooth sailing all the time.
what y’all can do instead of being pressed that a game with meaningful choices actually executes on its promise and rudely making that cherry’s problem is truly get to know the characters and the world. enjoy the narrative ups and downs for what they are and recognize what a gift it is that the story exists in the first place. go ahead and send THAT type of energy to cherry.

Why do you think the people who get successful to enter the void state refuse to help others who are struggling when you can just affirm once for them and it’s done so sweet and simple but why create so much drama when someone asks for help when you can easily just help each other here. Instead of giving so much of advices and methods just affirm once for them😩🤚🏻
hmm i dunno tbh, everyone definitely has their different reasons for such decisions. personally, I'd think the main reason is prolly like--- they want others to enter the void state on their own just like they did and another reason is that they prolly don't wanna be attacked by people if they do manifest that that person enters the void and that person doesn't end up enterin' the void for whatever reason (perhaps cause of their personal beliefs or limitin' beliefs, shit like that) I definitely can't blame them for thinkin' that 🧍oR perhaps they just don't want to manifest for strangers on tumblr. there's toooooons of reasons, but those above are the main reasons that i can personally think of 🤸
this is kinda perplexin' to think about? 🕵️ but it most definitely comes down to personal preference. i suppose one could manifest that others can easily enter the void regardless of whatever reality and beliefs they occupy just by usin' various wordin' bUt like--- im not sure? 🤔 I would like to experiment with it myself tbh when the time comes
once i wake up in the void again, and manifest for people who ask for help gettin' into the void state i ain't gonna lie and say I'm doin' it from the goodness of my heart, I'm doin' it for experimental purposes and to fulfill my own curiosity but y'all prolly won't care if it means that ya still get what ya want regardless🚶i just wanna see what happens ngl 🕵️ theoretically it should work 100%, find out next time on dragon ball z

Eight supporters of Iraqi cleric Moqtada Sadr were killed and 85 others wounded Monday after clashes broke out in Baghdad's fortified Green Zone, medics told AFP.
The announcement raises an earlier toll of two Sadr supporters killed and 22 others wounded in the clashes with supporters of a rival faction. The army announced a nationwide curfew from 7:00 pm (1600 GMT).
Shots were fired in the fortified area which houses government buildings as well as diplomatic missions, an AFP correspondent said, as tensions soared amid an escalating political crisis that has left Iraq without a new government, prime minister or president for months.
Witnesses said Sadr loyalists and supporters of a rival Shiite bloc, the pro-Iran Coordination Framework, were exchanging fire.
Security forces also fired tear gas to disperse the Sadrists at the entrance to the Green Zone, a security source told AFP.
Calling the developments "an extremely dangerous escalation", the United Nations Assistance Mission in Iraq (UNAMI) urged "protesters to immediately leave" the area.
It urged "all" to "refrain from acts that could lead to an unstoppable chain of events".
"The very survival of the state is at stake," it said.
'Definitive retirement'
Iraq has been mired in political deadlock since legislative elections in October last year, due to disagreement between Shiite factions over forming a coalition.
Shortly after he made his surprise declaration, Sadr's followers entered the Republican Palace, where cabinet meetings are usually held.
Inside the opulent palace, protesters lounged in armchairs in a meeting room, as some waved Iraqi flags and took photographs of themselves, while others cooled off in a swimming pool in the garden, an AFP photographer said.
Sadr — a grey-bearded preacher with millions of devoted followers, who once led a militia against American and Iraqi government forces — announced earlier on Monday on Twitter he was stepping back from politics.
"I've decided not to meddle in political affairs. I therefore announce now my definitive retirement," said Sadr, a longtime player in the war-torn country's political scene, though he himself has never directly been in government.
He added that "all the institutions" linked to his Sadrist movement will be closed, except the mausoleum of his father, assassinated in 1999, and other heritage facilities.
His latest statement came two days after he said "all parties" including his own should give up government positions in order to help resolve the months-long political crisis.
His bloc emerged from last year's election as the biggest, with 73 seats, but short of a majority. In June, his lawmakers quit in a bid to break the logjam, which led to the Coordination Framework becoming the largest bloc in the legislature.
Since then, Sadr has engaged in other pressure tactics, including a mass prayer by tens of thousands of his followers on August 5.
Hamzeh Hadad, from the European Council on Foreign Relations (ECFR), said it was "not clear" what Sadr's strategy was.
"Whatever it does mean, in typical Sadrist fashion, there is always backtracking expected," Hadad said.
"The second, and more terrifying thought on this is that he is giving his followers the green light to do whatever they like, and he will say he is no longer responsible for them."
Millions of followers
Sadr's supporters have been calling for parliament to be dissolved and for new elections, but on Saturday the cleric said it was "more important" that "all parties and figures who have been part of the political process" since the 2003 US-led invasion "no longer participate".
"That includes the Sadrist movement," he said, adding that he was willing to sign an agreement to that effect "within 72 hours".
Over the years, the chameleon-like Sadr has taken various positions and then reversed them.
Sadr's supporters have for weeks been staging a sit-in outside Iraq's parliament, after storming the legislature's interior on July 30, to press their demands.
They were angered after the Coordination Framework nominated a candidate they saw as unacceptable for prime minister.
The Framework wants a new head of government to be appointed before any new polls are held.
Caretaker Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhemi earlier this month convened crisis talks with party leaders, but the Sadrists boycotted.
Many Iraqis say the political infighting has nothing to do with their day-to-day struggles.
Iraq has been ravaged by decades of conflict and endemic corruption.
Oil-rich but blighted by ailing infrastructure, unemployment, power cuts and crumbling public services, Iraq now also faces water shortages as drought ravages swathes of the country.

I have my shot drawn up (managed to stab my fuckin' finger with the back of the lid of the sharps container trying to open it in preparation, which is just stupid funny to me after being initially extremely irritating lmao. Ain't got the damn shot done yet, but still made myself bleed. What a talent I am lol)
I have about half of the cjizzy smut fic written (and my god im. i just love writing smut for these two so much. They're so much fucking fun, bc they both always find rest and safety and stability with each other in these moments, in between the cutest lil silly things and jokes and. These two!!!! also. also. trans izzy for this one bc I can)
It's gonna be three AM soon. I should sleep once shot and fic are done.
HOwever. However. I just remembered the idea I had for a smut fic involving modern au Ed and Izzy, the application of T gel (Ed applying it for Izzy), and then the dorks purposefully taking the drying/waiting period post gel application to start teasing each other until they can fuck (technically it isn't a super long period, but I remember when I was using it it was like. pls do try and not get it on other stuff/ppl/let it dry if possible before covering that area w/clothes, and try not to sweat a whole lot right away if you can help it. So like, in this fic, they've specifically carved out this time to do the application like this so that they can do this little routine: apply, tease, maybe cockwarm a little, then finally fuck once gel is dry and they've given it some time to sit/Izzy should be able to sweat safely lol)
So what if I just keep staying up and write that also. I'm tired, but every time I try to stop, my brain throws Additional Thoughts About Everything at me and uhhhh. That will prevent me from sleeping so like. What if I just do this and sleep later.
