#so Sean Diddy Combes properties in LA and Miami are being searched #possibly related to sex trafficking - yikes #I don't know anything about that #and he's never been a guest on a boat I worked on #but he has chartered other boats and yachting is a small world #so I can say he's an entitled jerk that doesn't tip well #like literally chartered a boat for an entire week #and gave the crew a cheap merch t-shirt #crew are paid a monthly salary that is supposed to be for an approximate 40 hour work week #it's often more hours than that but a good owner/Captain will try to make up for that with long weekends or special trips etc #and when you're on charter #the hours are closer to 16 hours/day #so the tip should reflect that #and is based on ~15% of the weekly charter fee #so a $30 t-shirt for ~ 56 hours of work does not cut it #may karma prevail ;)

A luau-themed party aboard the Grille, a yacht used by Adolf Hitler and the Nazis, July 15, 1949. The 3,600 ton Grille (which is German for "whim" or "caprice") had been used during the war as a control craft for German submarine attacks. It was from this ship that Hitler’s death was announced on May 1, 1945.

The Grille was bought by an Englishman who came to the U.S. looking to sell it. He charged a small fee to the public for a look inside and donated the proceeds to charity. The yacht ended up being reduced to scrap in 1951.

just woke up and no joke, i dreamt jatp had three seasons. i was very disappointed when i woke up

#it was a very weird dream #because from what i remember it was as if julie and luke had broken up??? or at least agreed to take some time away from each other #and then luke was all sad and stuff and he went for a walk at the beach #where he found a ghost girl #i think they went on a date??? #anyway she liked him but he still liked julie so they went their own ways #this was probably influenced by the fact that before going to sleep i watched a b*y meets world episode with a very similar plotline #also there was this like eleven year old boy who could talk to luke #in the dream i assumed it was his (alive) brother but now that i'm awake that doesn't make any sense #there was more but that's all i remember #jatp #oh and a boat/ yacht was somehow involved in all of this #i think it's where luke and the girl either met or had their date on #i think the boy also lived in said boat??? and that's how he found luke??? #i'm adding this to the end cuz it's been days and today i remembered this one detail lol
