Morisuke Yaku always thought he was the type to never get desperate, never resort to straight up begging for affection.

That was until he met you.

You were stunning, you had that inflection to your voice that made his head spin, a smile that he swore rivaled the sun, and fluffy hair that made him want to run his hands through it. You were exactly his type, no matter if you were/were not his type before he had layed eyes and ears on you.

Morisuke was a blushing mess when he asked you out, bowing and handing you a little note that he may or may not have forced both Lev and Kenma to read over multiple times before he had ever even dared to give it to you.

And now he had you, he had that love and affection he didnt know he needed. You would always curl up with him when you both needed it, you would kiss him on the cheek before he went onto the court for games, always grinning and cheering for him at every single game: even managing to convince the coach to let you go to the training camps with him. (Not that it was hard, because it was so clear that he was both better and nicer with you there. ) He began to grow used to the amount of love you gave him.

So when you had fallen sick, and avoided him for two whole weeks, he had gotten a bit antsy and upset. He already missed your affection and it had only been two weeks. He had tried to convince you a few times to let him come over and take care of you, but you said no and he wanted to respect your boundaries.

But now you were back, and he wanted his affection.

"Babe. " he poked you on the cheek with a half smile, you were sitting with him on the sidelines of a meeting Kuroo had called to basically "berate" Lev into actually paying attention.

"Yeah?" You tilted your head in the most adorable way he had ever seen.

"Kisses. Now. " he poked you again as you laughed.

"Its only been two weeks. " you giggled, and he felt his face heat up a little.

"Two weeks too long. Kisses. Now. " he pouted, and you moved forward to kiss his nose.

"Okay. Any more requests prince charming?" You smirked, chuckling at his neediness.

He wouldnt be like this for anyone else, but for you.. he was willing to be a little clingy bastard.

"Yes. Hold me. Cuddle with me. Kiss me some more, I havent gotten enough. I have a ton of requests baby. " he smirked back with a little bit of a chuckle of his own.

"Geez, well arent you a charmer?" You pressed another kiss to his face, his cheek. He was kind of grateful you both were hidden behind the taller players on the team.

"Nope. But you love me anyway. " he grinned.

"..that I do. " you nodded, taking initiative to hug yourself to him, he gratefully wrapped his arm around you, your head laying on his shoulder.

"I love you too baby. " he muttered, kissing your forehead from where it layed on his shoulder.

Throughout the entire meeting he occasionally took initiative to take more affection, cling to you a little more, hug you a little closer.

He could admit it now, even though he thought he never would.

He was clingy.

But only for you.

yaku never expected to fall in love with someone so much taller than him, let alone someone that teased him about it as much as you do. he always thought that his partner would be the one stealing hoodies, but instead he was taking yours, and though they were far too big for him, the scent was comforting.

iwaizumi never expected to date an opponent. even the thought of being attracted to a guy from a different school's volleyball team felt like heresy. but still he found himself flustered by the smiles you'd shoot him through the net, then tracking you down in the hallway after the game to get your number, then chatting with you in a local cafe and hoping desperately that you want to meet with him again.

sakusa never expected to be such a fan of physical touch. after all, it was so unsanitary. but after working up the confidence to hold your well-sanitized hand once, he was hooked. one tentative hug led to another and another. cuddles went from once in a blue moon to a daily affair. and though a part of his mind always protested getting so close to another person, he can't help but admit that he loves it.

tsukishima never expected to be so happy when you showed up to his games. sure, it would be nice, but a missed game or two wouldn't be that big of a deal - or so he thought. but now he finds himself scanning the crowd at every single game, heart swelling when he sees you there in his spare jersey, broad grin on your face. and when you can't show up? he can never seem to play as well, and though he curses himself for it, it's because he misses your smile.

Sorry I took sooo long and to be honest I'm not completely happy with how it turend out but I tried. For the next series of this, I will include Kuroo, Kenma and Bokuto

Sugawara

Sugawara is a teacher so he has a lot of expirience taking care of children... just not his children

Him being a teacher has its ups and downs.

When it comes to Y/N, Suga is very protective, very sweet, and generally a great dad. In school, he has to deal with a lot of problems so he's learned to be very pacient and a great litsener. He learns from the kids and then applies them to his own. But that's also the problem. He spends so much time taking care of other children, that when he comes home, sometimes grumpy and tired, he is not as attentive and just wants adult quality time.

Just one time, he yelled and got frustruated towards Y/N and he regretted it with his life.

After a long work day, Suga only wanted to go home, enjoy a family meal, a little quality time and then head to bed, however Y/N had homework... homework that was difficult.

After hours of frustration, research and tears, Suga snapped. It's not like Y/N didn't understand their dad's point of view, in fact, they completly understood bit it still hurt. From that point on, Suga made himself a promise that he would always but Y/N first above anything else.

The bond between them just ends up growing, when Y/N makes it to Suga's grade and is assigned (by mistake) into his classroom. While it's great to have your dad teaching stuff, it becomes a little harder to slack off.

Tsukishima

One would never guess Y/N is Tsukishima's child at first sight.

Their personalities are completely opposite. While Tsukishima is a very blunt individual, who can even come across as antagonistic, Y/N is very sweet and docile.

Some might even describe her as humble.

While their personalities are not the same, both have great relationships most of the time.

Despite coming across as arrogant, Tsukishima has low self-esteem and thinks of himself as inferior. Because of this, when Y/N was born, he had frequent internal breakdowns about whether he was good enough for taking care of a living thing. With time though, he realizes that babies and children, in general, can withstand new parents and that his child was turning into a fine person.

When it comes to discipline, he does expect academic results.

When Y/N does something dangerous or does something they weren't supposed to, Tsukishima acts calm and collected. Not once, has he raised his voice towards her.

That's why both have a good relationship. Y/N has always felt safe telling his dad stuff.

Yaku

I feel Yaku suffered a lot with Y/N

She was a rebel, she was trouble, she was the problem child, and having Yaku's temperament didn't really help with the situation.

Yaku is a very honest, straightforward, hardworking individual and because of his job, he hardly has time for Y/N. This is why she starts rebelling. Just like with Kuroo, Y/N would start disagreeing with her father simply because.

Like any other parent, Yaku would want the best for his daughter, however, he doesn't express it often, therefore Y/N doesn't think he actually cares.

Just like Atsumu's relationship, Yaku and Y/N would have a rocky dynamic.

I also feel like they would fight a lot and crash since Y/N developed the same fiery personality (as well as height).

One time, Y/N got into a fight and got hurt. Obviously, she was suspended and Yaku was mad. In reality, he was just scared for his daughter's safety and was also terrified by the realization that he needed to become more present. After a long talk, both make a promise.

With time, it does get better but both have to put in the effort.

Y/N starts to work harder in school, and Yaku starts showing up more frequently.

Eventually, they become really close. Of course, they both have short tempers but the relationship becomes significantly better.
