You and Ellie have been best friends for years, well since you guys were fourteen. Teasing her to the point of her not even being able to look in your direction was the funniest. Ellie was like a lost puppy when around you, always following you, listening to you rant about the same thing over and, over again. She did it because it was you though, and she was helplessly in love with you, and has been since you guys were fourteen. You were just too stupid and clueless to notice it.

You guys had just gotten back from patrol, and you were ranting about your patrol with Jesse yesterday for the fourth time today, and she was listening to every detail again. "And He just kept bugging me, and making stupid jokes. He's so annoying, that's why him and dina have been on and off for the last year." You snapped throwing your shoes in the corner of the room as Ellie chuckled quietly behind you, "Are you laughing at me you ass? " You groaned throwing a pillow at her to which she just accepted her fate.

"You still up for movie night today orrr are you gonna third wheel dina and jesse again?" You hummed, moving around your room, Ellie wasn't paying attention to anything that was coming out of your lips, she was more focused on your lips. Imaging what they would feel like against hers, against her skin. She was so lost in thought she didn't even realize how flustered she was making herself, she looked like a fucking tomato. "You aren't even paying attention." You grumbled throwing a pair of socks at her, " uh-yes? Yes I am, I was paying attention. " she stuttered out, rubbing her arm nervously, because she definitely wasnt paying attention.

"Oh really? What did I say then?" shit The only thing she heard was... "a movie?" She guessed nervously, to which you jumped over to her, sitting on her lap, fuck, you were close. "I said, Are you still up for movie night today, orrr are you gonna third-wheel dina and jesse again?" You whispered, smiling cheesily at her, that stupid grin. She swallowed hard, trying not to think so much about the fact that you were on her lap, she could feel the heat of you on her thighs. "oOh-right, yea yea, our movie night. Hmn, I'm staying here tonight, so sure." She mumbled quietly, as if she spoke any louder, she would scare you away.

She wasn't sure where to put her hands, did she put them in your waist? Your hips? You know, maybe it was best to keep her hands at her sides. You were looking at her differently; you never looked at her this way before, it made her feel...small. "You're so pretty els." You whispered putting a piece of her hair behind her ear, you were teasing her right? "T..thanks, but I feel like you're teasing." She whispered, you guys were so close she could feel your warm breath against her lips, she knew she was red as a fucking tomato again.

"Is this teasing?" You whispered breathlessly leaning into her, your lips grazed hers, they slotted together perfectly. She wasn't sure what she was expecting from you, but it definitely wasn't this. Her hands made their way to your hips, squeezing gently as you deepened the kiss, your tongue making its way into her mouth as you explored, your hands tangled in her hair, and every time she squeezed your hips, you tugged on her small bun, earning a groan to ripple through her throat.

Clearly, the movie was long forgotten about.

THE RANT

listen. i am an Alice in Wonderland person. that is my thing. i love everything from the novel. i love the merch. i was Alice at least four halloweens when I was little. picture the thing you love the most of all the things and multiply it by ten and that is how I feel about Alice in Wonderland.

SO YOU CAN IMAGINE THE GRAVITY WHEN I TELL YOU I HATE DISNEY ALICE IN WONDERLAND

let me tell you why.

starting off with the animated 1951 version, i personally don’t like that they focused so much on like. giving it a plot. like in the original nothing bad happens, she just is trying to get home and keeps getting stopped by these eccentric little people (she does get chased by the jabberwocky in Through the Looking Glass but that’s like the not even part of this movie so it doesn’t count.) like part of the whimsy of the original novel is that it’s just like her meeting all these silly little people on her way home and there’s a whole bunch in the 1951 that’s like put there specifically to move the plot along. which i get, for what they’re trying to do like i do understand it’s an animated movie for children but like. come on guys you defeated the whole purpose.

Now, as for the 2010 Tim Burton version, I love the aesthetic and the vibe, and even the story and I wholeheartedly believe that that version of Alice did more for feminism than all of the you-can-tell-i’m-a-strong-female-character-because-i-don’t-have-a-love-interest bullshit disney’s been doing the past five ish years combined. however, it’s like. not Alice in Wonderland. like it fits in the same category in my head as a really well done fanfiction because yes, its Alice in Wonderland characters but no it’s not Alice in Wonderland.

But of course, my biggest, nastiest critique of both versions is (*deep breath*) the goddamn Queen of Hearts.

If you know like anything about like Alice in Wonderland *lore* you know that the story is like… not an allegory per se but basically it’s supposed to exaggerate how children are sometimes treated by adults.

Like asking stupid questions (the caterpillar) or talking in circles about nonsensical things (the hatter) or giving conflicting or unhelpful directions (the cheshire cat) or telling dark/pointless stories (tweedledee abd tweedledum)

Which brings me to the Queen of Hearts.

Both Disney versions depict my beloved Queen as the main antagonist- the Bad Guy™️ if you will- but the problem is that in Lewis Carroll’s novel, she actually isn’t. The antagonist is the jabberwocky, which is a personification of Fear. The Queen of Hearts is just another crazy adult who says things that Alice doesn’t like. If we want to interpret the character into Alice’s real life, she might be a strict teacher who hands out punishments too generously (off with their heads!) or a governess who is set on dictating every single instant of her life. It’s an exaggeration! The Queen of Hearts is NOT the Bad Guy™️!!!!

ahem anyway that drives me actually bonkers if you can’t tell and i know it’s not that important but i wanted to say something anyway lmao so there you go

Coming home from a case that was surprisingly easy and quick. Three members of the BAU decide to go out for a couple of drinks. Spencer is known for finding any excuse to not attend. surprising the two by not only accepting the invitation but bringing the new girl he's been seeing to meet the two.

Spencer and Y/N walk into the bar, the last to arrive due to Y/N's nerves. Spencer leads you to the table he spots his friends.

Darek being the first to spot them gets up to greet them

‘Hey, pretty boy, pulling Spencer into a side hug. Turn his attention to you going in for a handshake. Pretty lady, it’s nice to finally meet the woman who’s got our boy genius smiling at his phone all day.’ Breaking the ice with some light-hearted humor and noticing how nervous you look.

Shaking his hand you reply, You too, with a soft smile.

As Spencer brings an arm back around your waist, ‘Yea I figured it’s about time

Everyone gets to know each other. Declares Spencer.

As both guys escort you back to the table you are then introduced to Penelope who you are happily next to due to her friendly smile and open arms towards you. While Spencer sits opposite you and Darek opposite Pen.

With a big smile, Penelope starts the conversation. ‘So I know Spencer has told us some details, not a lot but some. But I wanna hear it from you like, how did you meet?’

‘At the Bookstore’ you simply replied

Y/N was working at the coffee shop at the bookstore near my house. I would see her every day and she would always have my order ready just the way I like it. It took me weeks to ask her out. Spencer says answering for you

Unknown to the couple gazing into each other's eyes. Pen and Darek give each other a confused look. That’s how it went the rest of the night, Pen and Darek would ask her a question and she would answer but with one word, and Spencer would explain or go into details

Getting late and on their last round y/n goes to the bathroom allowing Penelope to ask what she’s been wanting to ask this whole time.

Spencer starts by saying ‘Isn’t she great? ‘Still looking at the direction you’ve gone off to.

‘Yea, she’s great and she seems nice.’

Says Morgen

Penelope finally speaks up, ‘How do you know so much about her? Do you guys talk a lot’

Spencer gave the blonde a confusing look ‘What do you mean? She’s my girlfriend talking every day.’

What I think Babygirl is trying to ask is do you guys talk a lot or is it more like you talk the whole time.’ Darek says, trying to ease the tension that seems to be growing.

Spencer thinks about it. Well, you guys know how I can be. Sometimes what I start I can stop. Spencer say’s

Garcia quickly replies, And we love you for it. We wouldn’t change a thing. We were just wondering is it like this all the time or just with us?

Before he can get a word out y/n comes back to the table. Ready? She says as she starts to gather her items.

Following and doing the same thing. Everybody says their byes and goes their separate ways

Spencer and y/n ride in comfortable silence, You behind the wheel and Spencer riding passenger. Spencer speaks up. Hey, did you enjoy yourself tonight

keeping your eyes on the road you smile and say, yea

Yea? Spencer asked. What did you think of Morgan and Garcia? Again a simple, love them

Spencer, trying to get her to talk.

What’s your favorite part about tonight? Everything really, You reply

Spencer is starting to get frustrated by this. How can he not notice you barely say complete sentences? Does he do that much talking? Do you feel like you can’t talk because of him? But what specifically pops out to you?

Stopping in front of your apartment complex you put the car in park. You okay? Y/n asks noticing the change in Spencer’s demeanor

Realizing he wasn’t being so subtle Spencer tells the reader about the question and concern that his friends expressed.

I just want to know, Am I the problem? Does my rambling keep you from talking yourself?

Not expecting any of this you step out of your comfort zone.

First, I love your rambling. I love listening to you when you talk about something you are interested in and love. There is nothing in the world I love more than seeing you talk and the light in your eyes shine so brightly. Second, No I don’t talk a lot and yes you do tend to speak for me, but I can not be more grateful to you for that. When I was little I didn’t talk a lot, Everyone always told me I should talk more and that I need to talk more. You can probably figure it out before me but I just don't like talking. It gives me anxiety. So when you came into my life it was like a breath of fresh air and when you talk it makes me feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I wouldn’t change a thing. I feel like you just get me, it shows that you know me.

relationship angst is actually very difficult for me bc like. i dont know whats reasonable for couples to fight about bc ive never been a part of a couple lmao. like whats a disagreement and whats a fight and whats enough to break you up like yeah i know the red flags and whatever but i genuinely am the last person who should be writing romance fics lmao.* easy is usually anything where people are just like joking around and picking on each other although i WILL say that i take a million years to workshop jokes and yes my mutuals suffer from it. that being said the ass eating joke in the camp counselors au is still the funniest thing ive ever written and i still cry laughing every time i go back and reread the conversation that made that joke happen in alabanda

17. Talk to me about the minutiae of your current WIP. Tell me about the lore, the history, the detail, the things that won’t make it in the text.

my CURRENT wip (technically 2 most current wips) are secrets. the things that i Can tell you include: wip #1 is an extension of something i absolutely ADORED writing but continuing it makes me nervous bc like. you know how sequels are rarely as good as the original? i suffer greatly from that syndrome in my writing imo so it might be 1. worse for people to read (and yes i know i know yall will read whatever i write and will love it with your whole hearts but thats not the point) and 2. less enjoyable for me to write :/ but im having fun planning it right now at least!! i even got a new idea for it right when i got home from work so that was just jotted down in the planning doc :3

and wip #2 is a surprise! it is a very very new idea that is also technically not even My idea but i Got the idea by reading two entirely different fics (like not even both by the same author, and i doubt the two people even know or know of each other) and it was kind of like. what if i take THIS aspect of this writing decision and incorporate it into THAT storyline to explore how things might differ. and i have no idea how the end result is going to turn out bc i did Most of the planning at 11pm last night after working a 9 hour shift and then practicing my bass for like 2 more hours so. i might have to rework the whole thing anyway and may not even post it at all <3 we shall see <3

21. Could you ever quit writing? Do you ever wish you could? Why or why not?

i will admit i have Thought about quitting. I could never quit writing Altogether bc like ive said before ive been writing fun little stories literally for my entire life but like. right after i graduated college i was like. i should really stop paying so much attention to fandom and fic writing and focus more on like. finding a real job that isnt at a tourist trap that doesnt respect me and i kept telling myself not to plan too much further ahead in the year with my fics because who even knows if i'll be writing fic come october or november of 2021 (lmao) so like. i kind of did try to at least slow down my writing and that. failed miserably lmao. but i have decided that actually no i do not want to stop! writing makes me happy and its something that i enjoy doing and i think it keeps my brain active and gives me something worthwhile to do while im relaxing on the rare chance that i get a day off from work. i DO wish i could write more of my own original stuff but i simply do not have the brain space for creating original characters and relationships and such which is why i feel so comfortable putting the pjo characters into so many wildly insane new situations. at least that way it FEELS like i'm being original and creative even if im just playing around with the same puppets in front of a bunch of different cartoon backgrounds <3

There are just SO MANY great things in this episode, but the thing that really sticks out to me is this part where the Djinn gives Nandor his gift.

Like we know so little about the Djinn, and he mostly seems stand-offish and professional for the most part.

But the fact that he went to the wedding even though his job is technically done (no more wishes), then calls Nandor bro and gives him a wedding gift- the gift not only being super valuable and kinda personal (gives access to the Djinn), but also like. GIVES HIM AN EXCUSE TO STICK AROUND.

Like idk yall... all I'm seeing is a lonely and reclusive, all powerful, supernatural being reaching out and trying to make friends with the idiotic vampire who couldn't make 1 smart wish out of 1000 and I am TENDER

disability in the Six Of Crows Duology; an analysis of Kaz Brekker, Wylan Van Eck, and the fandom’s treatment of them.

****Note: I originally wrote this for a tiktok series, which im still going to do, but i wanted to post here as well bc tumblr is major contributor to what im going to talk about

CW: ableism, filicide, abuse

In the Six of Crows duology, Leigh Bardugo delicately subverts and melds harmful disability tropes into her narrative, unpacking them in a way that I, as a disabled person, found immensely refreshing and…. just brilliant. 

But what did you all do with that? Well, you fucked it up. Instead of critically looking at the characters, y’all just chose to be ableist. 

For the next few videos paragraphs im going to unpack disability theory (largely the stuff surrounding media, for obvious reasons) and how it relates to Six Of Crows and the characterization of Kaz Brekker and Wylan Van Eck, then how, despite their brilliant writing, y’all completely overlooked the actual text and continuously revert them to ableist cariactures.

Disclaimer: 1. Shocker - i am disabled. I have also extensively researched disability theory and am very active in the disabled community. Basically, I know my shit. 2. im going to be mad in these videos this analysis. Because the way y’all have been acting has been going on for a long ass time and im fuckin sick of it. I don’t give a shit about non-disabled feelings, die mad

Firstly, I’m going to discuss Kaz, his play on the stereotypical “mean cripple” trope and how Bardugo subverts it, his cane, and disabled rage. Then, I am going to discuss Wylan, the “inspiration porn” stereotype, caregivers / parents, and the social model of disability. Finally, I will then explain the problems in the fandom from my perspective as a disabled person, largely when it comes to wylan, bc yall cant leave that boy tf alone.

Kaz Brekker

Think of a character who uses a cane (obviously not Kaz). Now, are they evil, dubiously moral, or just an asshole in general? Because nearly example I can think of is: whether it be Lots’O from Toy Story, Lucius Malfoy, or even Scrooge and Mr.Gold from Once Upon A Time all have canes (the last two even having their canes appear less and less as they become better people)

The mean/evil cripple trope is far more common than you would think. Villains with different bodies are confined to the role of “evil”. To quote TV Tropes, who I think did a brilliant job on explaining it “The first is rooted in eugenics-based ideas linking disability or other physical deformities with a "natural" predisposition towards madness, criminality, vice, etc. The Rule of Symbolism is often at work here, since a "crippled" body can be used to represent a "crippled" soul — and indeed, a disabled villain is usually put in contrast to a morally upright and physically "perfect" hero. Whether consciously on the part of the writer or not, this can reinforce cultural ideas of disability making a person inherently inferior or negative, much in the same way the Sissy Villain or Depraved Homosexual trope associate sexual and gender nonconformity with evil. ”

Our introduction to Kaz affirms this notion of him being bad or morally bankrupt, with “Kaz Brekker didn’t need a reason”, etc. This mythologized version of himself, the “bastard of the barrel” actively fed into this misconception. But, as we the audience are privy to his inner thoughts, know that he is just a teenager like every other Crow. He is complex, his disability isn’t this tragic backstory, he just fell off a roof. It’s not his main motivation, nor does he curse revenge for making him a cripple - it is just another part of who he is. 

His cane (though the shows version fills me with rage but-) is an extension of Kaz - he fights with it, but it has a purpose. Another common thing in media is for canes to be simply accessories, but while Kaz’ cane is fashionable, it has purpose.

The quote “There was no part of him that was not broken, that had not healed wrong and there was no part of him that was not stronger for having been broken.” is so fucking powerful. Kaz does not want nor need a cure - its said in Crooked Kingdom that his leg could most likely be healed, but he chooses not to. Abled-bodied people tend to dismiss this thought as Kaz being stubborn but it shows a reality of acceptance of his disability that is just, so refreshing.

In chapter 22 of SOC, we see disabled rage done right - when he is called a cripple by the Fjerdan inmate, Kaz is pissed - the important detail being that he is pissed at the Fjerdan, at society for ableism, not blaming it on being disabled or wishing he could be normal. He takes action, dislocating the asshole’s shoulder and proving to him, and to a lesser extent, himself, that he is just as capable as anyone else, not in spite of, but because he is disabled. And that is the point of Kaz, harking back to the line that “there was no part of him that was not stronger for having been broken”. 

I cried on numerous occasions while reading the SOC duology, but the parts I highlighted in this section especially so. I, as many other disabled people do, have had a long and tumultuous relationship with our disability/es, and for many still struggle. But Kaz Brekker gave me an empowered disabled character who accepts themselves, and that means the world to me. 

Keeping that in mind, I hope you can understand why it hurts so much to disabled people when you either erase Kaz’s disability (whether through cosplay or fanfiction), or portray him as a “broken boy uwu”, especially implying that he would want a cure. That flies in the face of canon and is inherently fucking ableist. (if u think im mad wait until the next section)

Next, we have Wylan.  

Oh fucking boy. 

I love Wylan so fucking much, and y’all just do not seem to understand his character? Like at all? Since this is disability-centric, I’m not going to discuss how the intersection of his queerness also contributes to these issues, but trust me when I say it’s a contributing factor to what i'm going to say.

Wylan, motherfucking Van Eck. If you ableist pricks don’t take ur fucking hands off him right now im going to fight you. I see Wylan as a subversion another, and in my opinion more insidious stereotype pf disabled people - inspiration porn.

Cara Liebowitz in a 2015 article on the blog The Body Is Not An Apology explains in greater detail how inspiration porn is impactful in real life, but media is a major contributing factor to this reality. The technical definition is “the portrayal of people with disabilities as inspirational solely or in part on the basis of their disability” - but that does not cover it fully. 

Inspiration porn does lasting damage on the disabled community as it implies that disability is a negative that you need to “overcome” or “triumph” instead of something one can feel proud of. It exploits disabled people for the development of non-disabled people, and in media often the white male protagonist. Framing disability as inherently negative perpetuates ideals of eugenics and cures - see Autism $peaks’ “I Am Autism” ad. Inspiration porn is also incredibly patronizing as it implies that we cannot take care of ourselves, or do things like non-disabled people do. Because i stg some of you tend to think that we just sit around all day wishing we weren’t disabled. 

Another important theory ideal that is necessary when thinking about Wylan is the experience of feeling like a burden simply for needing help or accommodations. This is especially true when it comes to familial relationships, and internalized ableism.

The rhetoric that Wylan’s father drilled into his head, that he is “defective”, “a mistake”, and “needs to be corrected”, that he (Jan) was “cursed with a moron for a child” is a long held belief that disabled people hear relentlessly. And while many see Van Eck’s attempted murder of Wylan as “preposturous” and overall something that you would never think happens today - filicide (a parent murdering their child) is more common than you would like to believe. Without even mentioning the countless and often unreported deaths of disabled people due to lack of / insufficient / neglectful medical care, in a study on children who died from the result of household abuse, 40 of 42 of them (95%) were diagnosed with disabilities. Van Eck is not some caricature of ableist ideals - he is a real reflection on how many people and family members view disability. 

Circling back to how Wylan unpacks the inspiration porn trope - he is 3 dimensional, he is not only used to develop the other characters, he is just *chefs kiss* Leigh, imo, put so much love and care into the creation of Wylan and his story and character growth that is representative of a larger feeling in the disabled community. 

That being said, what you non-disabled motherfuckers have done to him.

The “haha Wylan can’t read” jokes aren’t and were not funny. Y’all literally boiled down everything Wylan is to him being dyslexic. And it’s like,,,, the only thing you can say about him. You ignore every other part of him other than his disability, and then mock him for it. There’s so much you can say about Wylan - simping for Jesper, being band kid and playing the fuckin flute, literally anything else. But no, you just chose to mock his disability, excellent fucking job!

Next up on “ableds stfu” - infantilization! y’all are so fucking condescending to Wylan, and treat him like a fucking toddler. And while partly it is due to his sexuality i think a larger portion is him being disabled. Its in the same vein of people who think that Wylan and Jesper are romantically one sided, and that Jesper only kind of liked Wylan, despite the canon evidence of him loving Wylan just as much. You all view him as a “smol bean”, who needs protecting, and care, when Wylan is the opposite of that. He is a fucking demolitions expert who suggested waking up sleeping men to kill them - what about that says “uwu”. You are treating Wylan as a burden to Jesper and the other Crows when he is an immensely valuable, fully autonomous disabled person - you all just view him as damaged. 

And before I get a comment saying that “uhhh Wylan isn’t real why do you care” while Wylan may not be real, how you all view him and treat him has real fucking impacts and informs how you treat people like me. If someone called me an “uwu baby boy” they’d get a fist square in the fucking jaw. Fiction informs how we perceive the world and y’all are making it super fucking clear how you see disabled people. 

Finally, I wanted to talk about how the social model of disability is portrayed through Wylan. For those who are unaware, the social model of disability contrasts the medical model, that views the disability itself as the problem, that needs to be cured, whereas the social model essentially boils down to creating an accommodating society, where disability acceptance and pride is the goal. And we see this with Wylan - he is able to manage his father’s estate, with Jesper’s assistance to help him read documents. And this is not out of pity or charity, but an act of love. It is not portrayed as this almighty act for Jesper to play saviour, just a given, which is incredibly important to show, especially for someone who has been abused by family for his disability like Wylan, that he is accepted. 

Yet, I still see people hold up Jesper on a pedestal for “putting up with” Wylan, as if loving a disabled person deserves a fucking pat on the back. It’s genuinely exhausting trying to engage with a work I love so much with a fandom that thinks so little of me and my community. It fucking shows. 

Overall, Leigh Bardugo as a disabled person wrote two incredibly meticulous and empowered disabled characters, and due to either lack of reading comprehension, ableism, or a quirky mix of both, the fandom has ignored canon and the experiences of disabled people for…. shits and giggles i guess. And yes, there are issues with the Grishaverse and disability representation - while I haven’t finished them yet so I do not have an opinion on it, people have been discussing issues in the KOS duology with ableist ideals. This mini series was no way indicative of the entire disabled experience, nor does it represent my entire view on the representation as a whole. These things need to be met critically in our community, and talked about with disabled voices at the forefront. For example, the limited perspective we get of Wylan and Kaz being both white men, does not account for a large portion of the disabled community and the intersection of multiple identities.

All-in-all, Critique media, but do not forget to also critique fandom spaces. Alternatively, just shut the fuck up :)

-Kaminari is an idiot.

-I don’t even know who you’ve managed to keep your relationship a secret.

-90% sure the whole school knows and just pretends to be oblivious. 

-Anyways.

-It kinda bothers him that he has to keep it a secret. 

-He wants to scoop you up and spin you around in the hallways, hug you after a really rough training session with Bakubro, kiss you when you are being extra extra cute. 

-Plus he wants to brag to the other idiots for getting a girlfriend first. 

-But alas he respects your wishes and tries to keep it all under wraps. 

-Your parents are pro heroes and have warned you about the dangers of dating since you are their kid. 

-Villains wouldn’t hesitate to threaten you with your significant other if it means they’ll get to your parents. 

-So now Kaminari is stuck sneaking in your dorm late at night only to spend a few hours with you and give you as much kisses as he can fit in the little time you have. 

-Surprisingly he has kept it a secret for almost a year now. 

-No slip ups, no marks on his skin after a spice night, none of your clothes could be found in his room whatsoever.

-Apart from his usual flirty nature towards you, there was nothing that could indicate that you two were an item. 

-Now being in your third year, things had gotten rather serious with your hero works.

-Most of you if not all had been working along side a pro hero for the last year or two but that didn’t mean they would take you in after high school. 

-Every student had to wait for the acceptance letter from the agency or an agency in general and they would be set for their hero work after school. 

-You had been working with a hero agency since your first year and you were pretty happy. 

-But the pro hero you had been with decided that after you were done with your hero studies, he would retire leaving you with no agency to boost your career after school. 

-Kaminari was as devastated as you were.

-He tried comforting you as much as he could, extra hugs and kisses, more snacks and movie nights, anything to help you cope with the fact that you would be back to the starting line once school was over. 

-He hated seeing you cry. 

-Then the unthinkable happened. 

-Mt.Lady was a well known hero and one with a desired sidekick position that no one seemed to really fill. 

-You had just helped her stop a major villain attack tricking the villain and capturing him before he could do any real damage in the area. 

-To say that Mt.Lady was impressed was an understatement. 

-She contacted your hero agency and asked if you had already signed a deal with them.

-You can see where this is going.

-When you got the notice from Mt. Lady’s agency you were over the moon and so was Kaminari. 

-He was so happy that the person he loved the most was finally getting what she deserved. 

-He had dragged you to the janitor’s closet to give you his personal congratulations, catching the attention of a certain red head.

-He kissed you like there was no tomorrow, his arms keeping you as close as possible, flush to his chest as he peppered your face and neck with feather light kisses. 

- “I’m so proud of you babe!”

-You tried to keep your giggles on the down low to no avail since Kaminari’s goal was to make you laugh. 

-For a long moment you didn’t care if someone found you, you were so happy and so comfortable in Denki’s arms that you didn’t want to leave the closet and go back to your hidden lives. 

-Then you saw the light coming from the door, getting ready to lightly scold Kaminari for leaving the door open when you made eye contact with Kirishima......and Mina ..... and Sero..... and somewhere in the far back with a pair of ruby red eyes.

- “Babygirl is everything alright?”

-He hadn’t seen them yet, then he followed your line of vision and the man has never yeeted you out of his arms faster in his life.

-Your friends just stared at you in complete shock for a full minute before Bakugou broke the silence. 

- “Oi you own me ramen Kirishima.”

Dabi

-With this guy I’m not surprised that you managed to keep it a secret. 

-Oh no no no.

-I’m surprised you managed to get him into a relationship.

-It wasn’t easy though you would give him that. 

-You were part of the LoV of course and well you didn’t really take any of their shit. 

-The only person you respected was Kurogiri and that was borderline pity. 

-He had to babysit a 20 year old killing machine with issues, many issues, many many issues. 

-When Dabi approached you with his signature flirty and I-only-do-one-night-stands-babygirl attitude, you being the idiot that you are took the bait.

-The LoV knows of yalls nights together but they only thought that that was it.

-Dabi slept around and you were a really attractive person. 

-Plus they knew you both were bored so sex was, to their eyes, the only solution. 

-What they didn’t know though was that Dabi was starting to catch feelings and soon enough he hated seeing you remotely talking with another human being. 

-Then that fateful mission happened and the deal was sealed. 

-You were spying on Overhaul and his lackeys, hidden in his underground lab watching as they went around doing stuff.

-Then you heard a childish scream and it was the first time Dabi saw fear flash in your eyes. 

-You turned around following the source of the screams absolutely ignoring Dabi’s protests and threats. 

-It was like you were in a daze and Dabi felt the terror sink his claws in his throat as you passed by so many of Overhaul’s members nearly getting caught. 

-When you reached the glass door that led into Eri’s experiment lab, he saw the color drain from your face and your knees buckling. 

-He caught you before you hit the floor dragging you away from the lab door despite the fact that you clawed at his coat to put you down. 

-He felt his shoulder getting wet and that’s when he saw the tears that were falling freely down your cheeks. 

-He had managed to calm you down long enough to convince you to leave before you got caught but luck wasn’t on your side when one of the lackeys spotted you. 

-Dabi was a few feet away from the exit, becoming reckless at the sight of freedom not noticing the masked individual pointing his gun at him. 

-You noticed though. 

-And you got in the way, pushing Dabi to the ground as the quirk cancelling bullet pierced your side leaving you to fall to the floor with a grunt and a strangled pained moan.

-The next few minutes were a blur.

-Dabi didn’t remember how he got you out of there or how he was now on a rooftop with you pressed flush against his chest as the affects of the bullet made you tremble. 

- “Shh doll, shhh. I’m here I got you.”

-He knew your trembling was not entirely because of the bullet, he saw how your eyes glassed over at the sight of Eri back in the lab and he knew that this had something to do with your past. 

-He used to get the same glassy eyed look on his face when he would see Endeavour on the news shortly after his “death”.

-Things changed after that. 

-He didn’t take you to the hideout that night, he brought you to his apartment where he helped you clean up your wound and calm down. 

- “I know it’s not my place to ask but what the hell to you happened back there?”

-When you explained what you’ve been through and how those screams brought back things you thought you had long ago buried, he was left gawking at you. 

-For some weird reason he believed that you were just a brat who ran away from home on some rebellious whim. 

- “Ugh what am I saying? You don’t give a damn! Why did I even-”

- “Touya.”

- “What?”

- “My real name is Touya, I-I wanted you to know.”

-Sharing a heart felt night analyzing your past trauma with someone you sleep with is one way to get yourself into a relationship.

-You both agreed to keep it secret and you did keep it like that for a long time, a very long time. 

-The LoV never truly found out. 

-Some had their suspicions sure, Mister Compress had even made a bet with Toga but you two never gave them any further hints apart from the constant paired up missions you went on. 

-The only one who knew was Kurogiri. 

-He had caught you two spending the night together on a rooftop, all cuddled up together your hands intertwined as you looked up at the stars. 

-He was getting back from an emergency snack run when he saw the familiar glow of Dabi’s blue flames and your characteristic giggles. 

-He never said anything and when Dabi came to him to ask for some pregnancy facts, he knew that he truly loved you. 

-No one ever knew and no one will ever know. 

-Unless the run into you two in five years while you’re out for a walk with your son. 

Bakugou Katsuki

-Sparky sparky boom boom man is a lil bitch.

-Don’t try to argue you know that too. 

-You just need to accept it.

-His way to approach you was by insulting the living shit out of you before making you reach the tip of an anger fit. 

-He knew how to press your buttons and it made you fume. 

-You had to give it to him he was hella attractive and his true personality shined through his faced at times. 

-And so did his worry for you.

-You got together after his kidnapping. 

-He suffered from nightmares after the incident and one night he came to your dorm, trembling and cold sweat running down his spine. 

-He had no idea why his feet led him to your room, he just knew that you were now wrapping him in a fluffy blanket and putting on a Disney movie as you hugged him so so tightly. 

-He slept over and the next morning he confessed. 

-Actually you both confessed but those are useless details. 

-In reality it wasn’t even a confession with words. 

-You both woke up facing each other, your noses touching and I don’t know who leaned in first but next thing you knew you were kissing his hand cupping you cheek while the other intertwined with yours. 

-Keeping your relationship a secret with this one is easy. 

-He is still being a lil bitch to you and you are still sassing him back.

-Behind closed doors he is kinda sweet and caring not a lot though because even with you he has to uphold his reputation. 

-After some time though he calms down and is a cuddle bug. 

-Like he will tackle you on the bed the moment you close the door to his dorm, restricting any movement until he is satisfied with the cuddles. 

-Baby even said ‘I love you’ first awwww!!

-He was so shy about it. 

-Anyways.

-That’s a story for another time. 

-He doesn’t really care about keeping it a secret anymore. 

-He’s low key tired of hiding. 

-Much like Kaminari he wants to kiss you whenever he wants, hold you and hug you till you can’t breathe after he gets back to the dorms after a rough patrol with his hero study. 

-But oh well the cat isn’t out of the bag yet and you being third years now you couldn’t really do something about it. 

-You spend so much time with him that you would think that some of your classmates would like sniff you out. 

-But no.

-They all dumb af.

-You would spend a lot of time with him and the Bakusquad since your first year so they just think you’re really good friends. 

-Todoroki kinda knows but he doesn’t at the same time. 

-Some mannerisms remind him while he was in a secret relationship before Momo found out but then he sees how Bakugou treats you just like any other person so he is really confused. 

-More confused than usual. 

-Now you got outed by the man himself. 

-Bakugou is not good with jealousy. 

-Jealousy and Bakugou should never go hand in hand.

-You were talking to Mina in class, leaning on the desk behind you. 

-Your skirt had ridden up show casing your thighs making Bakugou think back to some noises you made a few nights ago. 

-If he got hard he would blame you and he would be extra pissy. 

-He was enjoying the show though. 

-He watched you like a hawk.

-The way your body leaned back making your legs straighten and flex slightly or how he could see the hickey he had left right at the base of your neck the other night that you’ve tried to cover with make up. 

-He could see it because he knew it was there, to an outsider everything was normal. 

-He was jolted out of his daze by Mineta’s voice. 

-And the sound of your name on his lips. 

- “Look at Y/N’s thighs! She could suffocate me with those legs and I would thank her!”

-Kirishima smacked him upside the head trying to shut him up. 

-Kaminari was slowly escaping the scene because he saw the small sparks in his friend’s hand at the comment. 

-He chose life. 

-Mineta though didn’t stop. 

- “I could lose myself between those legs. Oh the noises she must make.”

-Now what happened next is a huge question mark. 

-The end result however was Mineta almost being blasted out the window and into space and Bakugou almost popping the vein on his forehead. 

-You had to get in between them and try to calm down your boyfriend. 

-Most of your classmates had long forgotten Mineta and his whining and had zoned in on your hands on Bakugou’s chest or on his arm that had wrapped around your waist in an attempt to push you behind him. 

- “You ever dare speak my girlfriend’s name I’m blasting you to the next dimension.”

- “Katsuki please calm down it’s fine.”

-Legit you both forgot that your relationship had been a secret for the past three years.

-I am back with another series of planets through the signs!! Today we will talking about the lovely planet of Venus!

- Venus is famously known as the planet of love. Yet, this planet can also represent our passions, our values, how we express those passions/values, creativity/creative processes, and what makes us comfortable. According to the book The Secret Language of Astrology by Roy Gillett, Venus is the planet "of gardeners and every kind of artist, as well as those who wish to succeed in business." So Venus carries alot more energy than many may think. Therefore, we will talk about the first 6 Venus signs! I hope you all like this series!!!

ARIES VENUS:

An Aries Venus will go after what they are passionate about!! Whether this is in a relationship or in their creative pursuits, you can not stop an Aries Venus from pursuing what they want! Yet, this Venus sign is in its detriment (as Venus is in domicile in Libra, its opposite). An Aries Venus may not like taking things slow. They either love doing what they are doing or they will find something that will fulfill them. This may mean they will go through several relationships or several creative processes to find the perfect relationship or process that fulfills them. Just remember things take time Aries Venus and don't give up on the first obstacle. Understand what is worth fighting for and what isn't. Ahhhh, Venus is in its domicile here. A Taurus Venus screams beauty, passion, and self-indulgence. They love taking things slow, and similar to Aries Venus they hate settling. These people are also some of the most amazing musicians and artists, and that's what happens when you are literally ruled by the planet of art and passion. Now this is not for everyone, but since Gemini represents 2 or double in astrology and tarot, I can see a Gemini Venus wanting to be in polyamorous relationships. And that is not a bad thing. A Gemini Venus is a multitasker. They may pursue multiple creative things at once, or they may love being around multiple people. These people can be talented writers as Gemini= Mercury = Writing. A Gemini Venus may end up dating a neighbor (since Gemini rules 3rd house themes like neighbors/neighborhood) or someone is close proximity to them(like a close friend turned gf/bf). A Gemini Venus just wants to experience and enjoy everything life has to offer before it is too late. They love people. They love being social. They may have/be the type of partners that are spontaneous and free-spirited. They also are very light-hearted individuals! They just love life, nothing wrong with that.

CANCER VENUS:

First, happy Venus return to all the Cancer Venus folks out there!! A Cancer Venus is just, I can't even explain it. A Cancer Venus likes simplicity as well like Taurus Venus. These people may find pleasure in cooking, cleaning, or just taking care of the people they love. They love being connected with the ones they love. They love family. Nothing makes a Cancer Venus happier than just simply being with the ones they love and having that emotional security. These are the kinds of artists that produce very healing work, possibly since Cancer rules the IC angle which represents our subconscious. I can also see these people as an interior designer or homemaker. A Cancer Venus is the type of partner that may want things more traditional (like dating to marry for example) because they hate wasting time on love they know they can not trust to integrate into their lives for the long haul. These are the type to end up marrying a high school sweetheart they have been with for awhile. SO ROMANTIC!!! If you want to be with a Cancer Venus, give them the emotional and material security they need.

LEO VENUS:

A Leo Venus in love is so beautiful and generous. They will really admire and put their partners on a pedestal and shower them with so much love. Yet, they need to know not to go overboard, as they are a Sun-ruled Venus and the Sun is a planet that is massive and can blind ya lol. A Leo Venus is well suited to go into the arts like acting or drama. They will shine in areas like that. Even if you don't want to be an actor, anything a Leo Venus pursues will make them shine since they are a sun-ruled Venus. They are confident in their relationships, and they know if it doesn't work out, then its only room for the next one. A Leo Venus also expects to be treated with the same energy they treat their partners! No reason to give if you there is no reciprocation.

VIRGO VENUS:

Okay, this placement is in the fall position as Venus is exalted in Pisces. Meaning, it doesn't mean a Virgo Venus won't find love, but it may be harder for them to find a person who they really and I mean really connect with. Yet, once they do find that person, a Virgo Venus will be there for you day in and day out. Since Virgo is the sign of service, acts of service may be the love language a Virgo Venus gives out most of the time to their partners. They love taking care of the people they love. Also, since this is a Mercury-ruled Venus, a Virgo Venus may want to pursue creative passions they can put alot of detail into (my sister is a Virgo Venus and she is a painter). Having those kinds of passions that a Virgo Venus can take time with and grow little by little is helpful to them. These people can be the best at what they pursue because they spend so much time perfecting it and understanding it! Oh my god this literal CHILD would be a pain in the ass in the beginning

The season had been cancelled due to Miss Rona and he was completely heartbroken

He wasn’t even allowed to go to the gym or even the courts to practice !!

You two didn’t live together yet (you two had been looking at apartments but couldn’t find one that suited either of you at the same time, but your apartment was probably big enough to fit the two of you already) but the minute that quarantine was set in place he literally showed up at your door with his belongings

Surprise! you got yourself a roommate now because he can’t stand being by himself in his lonesome apartment

You hummed quietly as you grabbed your books from your locker. Completely unaware of the boy behind you. “Hi Kageyama.” You heard a whisper in your ear. You jumped and put a hand over you chest. “Jesus, Miya.” You sigh but quickly push that aside. “I wanted to see who stole my boy Suna’s heart.” Atsumu gave a closed eye smile.

You blushed and looked away as the twin stared down at you. “You’re so much cuter than how Suna described you, ya know.” He said and you covered your face in embarrassment but your ears gave it all away due to your neatly kept ponytail. Atsumu thought it was so funny and cute how flustered you got with such little words. “Thanks i guess, is there anything I can help you with?” You asked. “You’re working on that project with Suna during lunch right?” He asked and you nodded.

“Darn.” He snapped his fingers and put his hand on his hip. He seemed to be in deep thought. “I need help with chemistry so I was wondering if you could help me study for an upcoming exam.” He chuckled and rubbed the back of his head. “I’d be more than happy to help you out, Miya. But you have practice before and after school, and I’m booked during lunch because of the project.” You frowned.

“I know.” He sighed, “Guess I’ll try to ask ‘samu but he yells and I don’t like the way he teaches.” He whined. You fiddled with your fingers not knowing what to say, I mean you wanna help him out. If he fails his test he won’t be able to play volleyball and you don’t want that. “I-if you want...I can tutor you after practice for a bit...” you spoke up completely unaware of your fox like boyfriend towering behind you. “Tutor for what?” You heard and long arms wrapped around your waist from behind. Suna rested his chin on your head and gave pissy hair a glare.

“Rin—I thought we agreed on no PDA...” your face was flushed red. “But princess, how am I supposed to show players like ‘Tsumu that you’re my girlfriend.” It sounded more like a statement than a question. “He just needs a tutor for chemistry..” you answered honestly. “Is that so..? Can I join the study party too? I’m not doing so hot in chemistry as well.” Suna admitted and you turned your head to look at him. “I don’t see why not..” you told him.

Before you knew it his hand grabbed your chin and he stole your lips into a kiss. You kissed back but quickly pulled away because you were at school and now everyone was looking at you three. You looked back at Atsumu and his eye twitched when he looked at your boyfriend.

“So today after practice is fine?” You asked and they both looked down at you and nodded. “Okay, I’ll see you both later.” You said simply and pulled away from Suna’s grasp. You closed your locker with your needed books in hand and you walked away. You head was down and your books covered your face to hide your blush.

“Bitch what was that?!” You friend whisper yelled and shook your shoulder. You looked at her and shook your head, “I honestly don’t know.” You said. “Are you dating, Suna?” She asked and you nodded. “Eeeep! I need details later okay?” She asked with a wink and you hesitantly nodded. “Bye bye!” She waved and you waved back to head to your first class.

You shared a class with Suna so when he sat next to you to pair up for the project again everyone was looking at your every move. Almost everyone saw what went down by your locker and Suna didn’t seem like the type to do something so bold. Let alone with the top student of the class. Word spreaded around fast like wildfire and Suna was satisfied. All that PDA that went down in the morning was forgotten in his mind and he never touched you for the rest of the day.

You were originally going to go to the library after school to wait for the boys but Atsumu persistently asked if you could come see their practice. You eventually agreed and wondered When was the last time you’ve been on a volleyball court.

Atsumu was chatting your ear away about how good of a setter he was and he started explaining what a setter is and you tried not to laugh because you know how volleyball works and not only were you a good setter in middle school but your cousin is an amazing setter as well.

But he seemed so happy you didn’t want to burst his bubble. “Well well well, who do we have here?” You heard and turned around. “‘Samu! Look isn’t Suna’s girlfriend cute!~” Atsumu patted your head and you removed his hand. “She’s so adorable I just wanna gobble her up.” He gave a smirk to Suna’s way and they both shot daggers at one another. You stood in between them completely oblivious to their fighting and you gave a slight bow to Osamu. “Nice to meet you. Rin has told me a lot about you. It’s nice to know he has a good friend.” You smiled softly.

Osamu coughed and looked away,

Why are you so fucking cute?!

Suna really did get such a cute girlfriend. “It’s nice to meet you too, please take care of Suna and my idiot brother since he told me you would tutor him today.” He said and you nodded. “Whatever, we’re gonna be late. Y/N, wait by the gym entrance for our captain, Kita or the coach.” Suna said and you nodded. He gave you a small smile and he walked away to the club room with the twins following behind him.

The coach arrived first and asked who you were and you explained that you would be tutoring Suna and Atsumu after practice. You apologized for barging in but he shook his head and said that it was fine.

“If you don’t have anything to do, do you mind helping me out with a few things while they practice?” He asked and you shook your head. “I don’t mind what do you need help with?” You asked. He gave you several tasks such as a small inventory in the storage area, filling up the water bottles and getting the colored vests ready for a practice match. You were honestly buzzing with excitement, you haven’t seen a volleyball game so up close in ages. Even if it was simply a practice match. You managed to meet the rear of Inarizaki’s volleyball team and Kita was very kind to you and it made you wish he was your older brother.

You helped out the coach more by taking a few notes for him as he talked and you thanked god you were such a fast note taker because you managed to get every single word down. Everyone on the team especially the twins and your boyfriend noticed how good and natural you worked around the court. “Suna ask her to be team manager.” Osamu nudged him. “Hell no.” He shook his head. He sees you enough during class, and in all honesty he doesn’t wanna actually catch feelings for you. You were naturally sweet and he didn’t want to feel more like a piece of shit.

“Why does Suna have to ask her?” Ojiro asked, by this time everyone turned to look at the three second years and Atsumu spoke up with a smirk. “She’s Suna’s girlfriend.”

“Girlfriend?!” They all repeated in shock.

“What the fuck does she see in you anyways? Poor girl must be blind.” Hitoshi said which lowkey pissed off your boyfriend. “Nah he’s more like her Prince Charming because he was so romantic on their first date.” Atsumu teased which caused Suna’s ears to turn red. “That’s hard to believe.” One of their teammates spoke up. “Either way I think, Kageyama is doing a good job. If he won’t ask her, I will.” Kita said seriously and the three second years gulped.

The gym doors opened and the team they would be up against arrived.
