Just being reminded that any post I make about being a system seems to come under fire no matter what I say.

If I talk about my personal experiences, I'm a bad person.

If I don't directly state that these experiences do not apply to everyone, I'm a bad person.

If someone sees my post and has even a vaguely different experience from mine, I will be made known about it.

People have gone to very extreme lengths to tell me I'm terrible for posting things about MY OWN SYSTEM. People have posted triggering content in reblogs of my posts all because I didn't use a disclaimer of "Not all systems."

Do I really need to explain that OF COURSE safety comes first, OF COURSE you know your system better than I do, OF COURSE not all systems will relate.

You know what makes me mad?

We, average people, have access to things our grand- or even just parents thought will remain in sci-fi world. My mother had to go to another house to watch tv with an incredibly small screen for its size! Balloons were considered a rare item. If you told that you're taking your phone on a walk people would think you're out of your mind.

We have a devices that grand access to almost all information in the world, be it books or videos. We can talk to people via video in real time. It costs money, but still relatively cheap. We can actually purchase effing robots for our house, some are pricey, some are pretty affordable.

You can watch Earth out of international Space Station's window, watch a movie or visit a zoo in a different country while not separating your ass from a toilet seat. Some diseases went extinct due to medicines invented by humans. They are learning how to grow meat like we grow some lettuce! There are people who live and work in space. People even sent robots to Mars! Coding languages are available and there are books about that targeted at PRE-SCHOOLERS.

Yet some people cling onto their "traditions", and every day you see shit like this happen:
