Rashta and Navier fighting for Maid! Reader

‘I shouldn’t have come here!’ was your first thought to this mess you created. What? Don’t understand anything? Let’s rewind back to when you got to the palace, You were in search for a job for quite a few days, but you were lucky enough when the empress herself saw you sitting with one of her ladies-in –waiting and asking her about any jobs vacancies she knew, she stepped in and offered you a job as a maid in the palace.

As you begin to work there, you became a royal maid for the empress, you had become friends with many other servants working there working for different events and also hearing the news of the emperor bringing in a concubine and you heard some rumors saying she was extremely gorgeous, many people hated her for hurting the empress while some didn’t, even you secretly wanted to meet her. One day as you were doing your work as usual, you were cleaning the hallways near the Empress’s bedroom, for some reason the empress told you to only clean near her room or where she found be found the most. So while you were cleaning the floor, you bumped into a beautiful lady, whom you recognized to be the emperor’s concubine, Rashta. As stopping your work for a moment to greet her as a sign of respect, she asked “Hey! Aren’t you the new maid everyone’s talking about? What’s your name?” You replied back with a “Yes, my lady I’m the new maid working for the empress. My name is Y/N, my lady.”

At the mention of the empress, Rashta’s expression of happiness and excitement changed into a deep-thinking one and maybe a disgusted one, after a few minutes she said “Why don’t you work as one of my maids, because since Rashta is the new concubine to the emperor, she also needs some maids to help her? Rashta will pay you a handsome price.” While giving you a eye-closed cheeky smile and waited for your answer. After a while you replied with that you will think about it and asked to get dismissed, Rashta was happy with your answer and said she’ll see you later. Unknown to you, a certain someone was watching your whole conversation with the concubine.

That night while you were in your room, you heard a knock on your door, as you opened the door two maids were standing there and after a few seconds they both said in unison,

“Lady Navier wishes to have dinner with you.”

“Lady Rashta wishes to have dinner with you.”

Confused as to why they would call you, you denied both the invitations and lied to them that you had already eaten. When the news reached the ears of both the ladies they were livid, not at you no but at each other. They thought that the other was forcing you to stop spending time with them.

And so this continued for a few weeks when both the ladies would s end invitations to spend time with you and always you would deny them, thinking it was kind of wrong for a near royal to spend time with a low maid. Thus you would rarely accept their invitations and would often reject them.

Now as you finally take a break from working, you were sitting in the garden reading a book, as you were contently reading you heard two voices call out to you, which made your blood freeze, it was the empress and the concubine, Lady Navier and Lady Rashta respectively. As they both called out to you, you stood up and brushed your dress clean and bowed down to both of them to show respect. As you sat down, lady Rashta tackled you in a tight side-hug and wished you good morning, “Good morning Y/N! Did you sleep well last night?”

Smiling at her adorable antics, you politely said, “Good morning milady and to you too empress, how can I help you both today?” At the mention of the empress, Rashta happy face turned into a pissed off once as she said, “Y/N? Why do you keep denying Rashta’s invitations of a tea time, is Rashta insufferable and annoying to you?!”

Surprised at her question, you tried explaining to the lady that she wasn’t annoying or anything like that, it’s just that you were often busy and didn’t have time to spend with her. As Rashta heard about you being too busy she retorted, “Well sister must give you so much work, so you have no time to yourself, it’s okay Rashta will talk with her!” with a cheeky and sly look as she looked at Navier, Navier’s face looked thoughtful, but on the inside she was livid, how could Rashta, a slave who luckily became a concubine, say that the empress was drowning her maid in work and not letting her accept the invitations of others?

Hearing the request, she spoke back, “Oh! Rashta I’m not drowning her in work, we both also have been spending a bit of time together like you both do, just more often that is…” in a sly and hushed tone, hearing this news you became extremely confused as to what the empress was saying cause you hadn’t been spending that much time with empress either, like Navier now Rashta was also infuriated, she knew that it wasn’t true but she couldn’t prove it without revealing herself.

As you started to feel as though something was about to go wrong, you stood up, bowed down and tried to excuse yourself, “Excuse me my ladies, I still have to go work so may I be excused?” As you asked the question, you felt strong grips on both of your wrists you opened your eyes and stood straight you saw both the ladies had a grip on your wrists and pulled you both somewhere nobody could see you, where their argument continued between who you like.

As this happened, Rashta suggested something that made blood run out of your face, “Wait sister! What if we start sharing her, then we both can have her to ourselves and nobody can take her from us! Right~”, “You’re right. We can share this little darling and keep her safe by locking her in a room built just for her, so nobody can take her from us!” As they both turned to look at you with blood-thirsty and sinister smiles on their faces and suddenly you felt your vision going blurry and black as you thought ‘I shouldn’t have come here!’.

He attended yours and Kosair’s wedding, and he had to admit that he was jealous of your husband because you were so beautiful. It was a great time, and you both had a great impression of each other. Unfortunately, your paths didn’t cross very often, but when they did your butler would give him a sour glare. Luckily, you were invited to the New Year’s Party a few years later, and he would get to see you once again.

Sovieshu hated the way you immediately clung to Navier the entire time. To be fair, you hadn’t seen each other in a while, and you saw her as a sister, and your husband wasn’t there, but he was there, too. You presented Her Imperial Majesty with gifts and kisses on the cheek upon arrival, and the emperor couldn’t help but be jealous. Once the disaster of a party was over, you retired to the guest chambers in which you would be staying with your butler.

Over the next few days, he tried to talk to you but Claude would always usher you away. One day, however, Rashta came to him crying about how you were mean to her and slapped her. You had a certain reputation preceding you; you were a woman who, if one was to get on your bad side, it could result in physical, emotional, mental, or financial pain… sometimes all four. Sovieshu stroked the young mistress’s hair as he warned her not to go near you again, or she could lose an eye. You see, unlike her, your story was a good one because you built up your way to wealth rather than slept your way into higher society.

When your husband returned, His Imperial Majesty couldn’t muster up the strength to see you so in love with another man. You also seemed to gravitate towards Prince Heinrey of the Western Kingdom, which just further pissed him off. Like… he was an emperor, and you were more amicable towards a measly prince as well as a lord (your husband, Kosair). Little did he know that he was one of the people who had yet to face your anger for daring to betray your lovely sister-in-law.

Rashta

She had no idea you existed until the New Year’s Party. Everyone was whispering about you, and she went up to Sovieshu and asked who you were. That’s where he told her that you were Lady Trovi, wife of Kosair Trovi and his sister-in-law through his wife. You were invited due to you being the heiress and current head of the Trancy estate and wealth. She did not hear his warning not to get in your way.

A few days later, she saw you making your way to Navier’s chambers along with your butler. The young lady saw this as the perfect opportunity to befriend you, so she called you by your title and married name (‘Lady Trovi’). You turned and saw the young lady, who you assumed to be a servant who was dressed in a vibrant light blue dress. However, imagine your own surprise when she introduced herself as Sovieshu’s mistress. She asked if you were going to see “Sister Navier”, and you responded by slapping her and shouting that you were the only person who could call Her Imperial Majesty by that title.

Later that afternoon, she met with Duke Ergi, who informed her that she only dealt with a small shred of your wrath. He told her that you had actually stabbed out one of your servant’s eyes just for spilling tea on your gown. Now that Rashta thought about it, she had seen a maid with an eyepatch walking about from your guest room to other places in the palace. Maybe the upcoming dinner could be a chance to reconcile with you?

Nope. She ruined any chance of reconciliation by complaining to Sovieshu about how no one liked her because of where she came from. You were fed up with being cordial, and you stood up and slammed your hands onto the table. You threw a butter knife at her, missing her by only a little, and you started screaming about how you, too, came from nothing but you never used it as an excuse to be… for fear of getting the mature community label… a jerk. This caused everyone to stare at the mistress in disgust and disapproval, and Navier moved to hold you and walk you back to your room. Your butler followed in tow, picking up your coat that you had left behind.

Navier Trovi

She met you before the wedding, and you saw her as a sister figure almost immediately. She was the one to suggest that you change your name to Trovi, since she knew that you did not like your past but rather the things you learned from it. She enjoyed your presence as well, and she knew that if she was going to make it through the New Year’s Party with Sovieshu having a mistress, she needed you there. So, she invited you. You would be staying in the palace two months following as well.

It was unfortunate that the party went as horribly as she thought it would, but you did not discover the fact that Sovieshu had a mistress. For all you knew, Rashta was just another noble who accidentally outshined the Empress. However, a few days later, there was a loud commotion outside of her room and when she went to investigate she found your butler holding you back from attacking the mistress, who had a visible handprint on her cheek from a harsh slap. You were calling her a ‘common whore’, disgracing the way that commoners build themselves up to greatness.

The upcoming dinner was a sight to behold. You stuck by Navier’s side, as your husband, her brother, was not present yet, and she was the only one who could keep your anger in check. Claude became well acquainted with Her Imperial Majesty, and she saw the Faustian contract mark on your tongue. When you were asleep, she went to the library to do some research. Claude knew this, but he also knew that she wouldn’t say anything lest you be killed for this unholy binding.

Navier expected the dinner to be a hot mess, but it was worse than she thought it would be. Rashta was crying about how no one liked her because she used to be a commoner when you got fed up and stood up, slamming your hands on the table and quickly throwing a butter knife at the white-haired girl. It didn’t hit her, but it cut a strand of hair. Navier quickly got up and hugged you, bringing you to her chambers. Claude followed the two of you with your coat. Once there, she let you cry it all out. She knew you were a commoner originally, but you told her that you inherited the Trancy name because the original man was a pedophile and you basically seduced him. You hid everything, but you could tell that Rashta was hiding things as well, and you told your “sister” Navier.

Heinrey Lazlo

He met you at the New Year’s Party, and you were sticking close to the Empress… the woman he fell in love with and set his sight upon. He was curious as to who you were, as he was new to the Eastern Empire. You seemed a bit childish at heart, but from what he could tell you were loved by everyone. Your butler trailed not far behind you, no matter where you went. That’s when he noticed a strange mark on your tongue whenever your butler was next to you.

Anyways, there was the whole dress drama that went down, and to say he was kind of angry would be an understatement. However, you were livid. How dare Rashta compete with Her Imperial Majesty?! And she even dared to blame it on her instead of admitting that she copied her dress?! She also stated that she was the person who was receiving his letters. Heinrey could see through the lie, and Claude took note of that. The two began their suspicions towards each other, but it did not concern you nor Navier.

The dinner a few days later was a disaster, as you threw a knife at the Emperor’s mistress. You were then led by Navier to her chambers, and your butler followed closely behind with your abandoned coat. Once the coast was clear, he also followed and listened in on the conversation you were having with his Queen. To hear all of the horrors you went through was absolutely heart-breaking, and he vowed right then and there that he would protect you as he would protect a sibling.

When Kosair was exiled from the Eastern Empire, Heinrey informed you that you both could go to the Western Kingdom and seek refuge there. Your butler bowed before going to pack your things for you. You wished Heinrey luck in his endeavors, and went back to the Trovi Manor. When the whole thing with the guards happened, he noticed an elegant blur going around, and he knew it to be Claude Faustus, your butler.

Kosair Trovi

Your matrimonial union to him was arranged by Lord and Lady Trovi as well as the former head of the Trancy Manor. This infuriated you to no end, and you both clashed at first. Both parties were fearful for your future as a married couple. After one such fight, he actually realized that he was in the wrong, and he apologized by purchasing a bouquet of your favorite flowers and proposing in the traditional form. Needless to say, you both got married.

It was unfortunate that he was always out-and-about, as you did grow to love your husband. Oftentimes, you reminisce about how you told him what you went through in your childhood, and he held you as you sobbed. You felt comfortable feeling vulnerable in front of him, but other than that you just had your butler. When he did come back, however, you had another issue: Rashta, the Emperor’s mistress. From what Kosair had heard, you have been thrown into hysterics twice and almost stabbed her.

He knew there was something up with Rashta, and when he kidnapped Lord Rimwell he figured everything out. Her story matched yours a lot, but you went through significantly worse. You see, the former Head of Trancy Manor was a pedophile, and took you in with that intent in mind. You just picked up some skills and seduced the man into making you the heiress once he inevitably passed. Rashta was at least consenting in her encounter with Alan Rimwell.

Then, soon after, he was exiled from the Eastern Empire. Heinrey allowed you both to go to the Western Kingdom to escape, but one thing that you both made sure to do was to delay your own departure until Claude returned. After all, the butler was their best chance of easing their way outside of the palace because Sovieshu went yandere for whatever reason and tried to trap Navier from leaving.

Remarried Empress - By Alphatart (9.5/10)

I've waited a long, long time for this. I'm not sure if this review will offend anyone, but here I go. I am not insinuating that Remarried Empress is a traditional yandere story. Obsession is not the focus. Especially not during the first season, but longtime readers know the drama eventually boils over. Delusion, denial, and love all clash during the fabulous finale. The line between villain and hero blurs in a beautiful way halfway through the story.

Spoilers for everything (I mean it) ahead!!!

Remarried Empress is well known for its seamless magic integration. Fantasy webtoons are infamous for clunky, wordy spellcasting systems and magic schools with zero charm.

That is not the case here.

Magic is a plot point that has little to no relevance during the first quarter of the story. We get hints. The issue grows. We get drama from the very beginning, from the perspective of a powerful woman trapped in a toxic marriage. The woman in question is the Empress, Navier, who has no magic whatsoever. Magic is an important political power tool. It doesn't magically make you more important. Lots of badly written stories love to give their protagonists fantastical magical powers, as if that power gives you the ability to rule.

This is not the case here.

Navier gains magical powers at the very end of the story. It is part of her happy ending. It is not the reason why she is successful in her political endeavors. Navier loves ruling. She was raised for it, and uprooting corruption gives her joy. Drama and sparkles are not her source of power. She is a borne and true politician who recognizes that the nobility cannot prosper without happy, healthy common people. She receives magic when her duplicitous and extremely loving husband decides she is worthy of it. It's sort of a wedding gift. Yes, it's a very morally dubious part of the story. The magic imbuing process starts without her permission.

(I won't spoil all the details. Don't be too mad at Heinrey.)

Navier is from the Trovi family. Her family line has produced multiple Eastern Empire ex-Empresses. Magic is on the decline. The Eastern Empire has less active wizards than ever before, and they can't figure out why. Luckily the nation has a steady Empress and Emperor to rely on. Naiver and Sovieshu have a good relationship. She loves him more than he loves her. They mostly live separate lives. They don't even eat together every day, because they are both so busy, but Navier trusts Sovieshu. They were raised together as children. The priest who married them thought they would be different. A rare, happy royal couple.

Souvieshu ruins that lifelong relationship when we brings in a runaway slave. The lovely young woman, Rashta, got caught in one of the Emperors animal traps! How awful! He takes responsibility for the terrible accident. He carries her to the doctor on horseback the way any decent man would.

He almost immediately makes her his Official Mistress. There is a formal title, as mistresses are common for Emperors. Naiver has to go through a humiliating process. She has to welcome, and give a spending allowance to, the woman her beloved husband is sleeping with. She even has to throw parties for the woman her husband is currently spoiling instead of her.

Ouch.

(Yes. You are correct. It is revealed later that the accident was no accident. Rashta jumped in harms way in a desperate attempt to escape her shackles as a slave. A slave who had a bastard child with her owners son. When said son decided he didn't want to lower himself and marry her Rashta dolled herself up. She ran into the royal woods looking gorgeous on purpose. She would have been a cool protagonist, in another life, but she's just not tough enough to survive royal intrigue. In her desperation she loses everything. It does sound tragic, until you get to know her. Rashta is a child abusing, bloodthirsty, narcissistic tattle-tale by the end of her story. I'm sure you can guess how it ends.)

Throughout season one we see how integral the Empress is to the East. At first it seems like everyone favors the Emperor, but things are not what they seem. Empress Navier runs a tight ship. She doesn't need to be babied like Souvieshu. A gap slowly begins to grow between them. His incompetence starts to shine bright when he lashes out at his Empress. He blames her for every little problem his Mistress encounters. Including the problems Rashta makes up to cause unnecessary drama. Rashta makes little mistakes that pile up over time. Her allies aren't very strong, and she is never honest with anyone. She talks like a cute idiot on purpose, but that backfires when she can't find a teacher willing to put up with her as a result. She can't catch up to Navier. A genius couldn't. Navier has been privy to national secrets since her youth. Trying to catch up on that much reading...just isn't possible for a regular, but gorgeous, slave. Also, Rashta is desperately hiding her slave status. Rashta starts to copy Navier in obvious ways, and Navier is refreshingly human about it. She hates it. She tells Rashta to learn on her own, and she isn't always diplomatic about it. Her complaints push her into an intimate but platonic friendship with the Prince of the Western Kingdom, Heinrey.

Heinrey has a special kind of magic. He can turn into a bird. He uses his bird form as an excuse to stick close to Navier, because he's carrying a MASSIVE torch for her. It is not just a crush. He's bitter about being younger than her. If they were the same age he would have gotten the chance to woo her, but Souvieshu was the most convenient and familiar choice for her family. Navier was a couple years out of his reach. He thought he would have to sulk about losing the chance to have her forever, but then Souvieshu stirs the pot. Sidenote Souvieshu is very insecure. He expects his Empress to love him over everything. He got upset when Navier...you know...did her job well. He wanted his wife to be drooling over him constantly or something. It's weird. He is also quite sexist. This becomes more obvious as the story goes on. He treats Rashta like an object, and he loses interest in her after less than a year. That's suspiciously fast. He is only using Rashta to satisfy his craving for cute attention. It's quite pathetic. They both are.

Anyway moving on.

Heinrey "visits on diplomatic business", but in reality he's planning to take over the East. Yeah. That's something. The writing is really on another level. I had no clue whatsoever until later on. He also stole the magic by the way. Yeah. Heinrey is the reason why their magicians just can't cast anymore. An adorable young student despairs before the Empress about her crushed dreams in tears. All while Heinrey is just standing there, in the background, completely aware of the fact that he is the cause of her suffering.

He's a pretty scary guy.

Navier eventually agrees to flee the country and marry him.

Rashta's lies leave no other choice for her. Rashta falls pregnant. Navier has never been pregnant. As the woman, she has always received the blame. Cough. Sexism. Cough. Souvieshu is actually infertile due to a childhood accident. He, of course, is completely convinced that Navier is the infertile one. Rashta is carrying another baby that belongs to her masters son. She is willing to put an illegitimate child on the throne to get power, because she doesn't know any better. There are certain things peasants just don't know. A magical paternity test exists. It involves droplets of blood and a mixture of special water. After Rashta gives birth to a child that looks nothing like Souvieshu he gets wise. Souvieshu makes Rashta Empress (temporarily) for the sake of "his" child. He always intended to remove Rashta from the Empress seat, as soon as "his" child was seen as legitimate by the court of law. His callous attitude is what convinces Navier to leave. She has always loved her husband. She loved him more than she thought she did. She put up with real pain to support him, but he decided to remove her from her Empress seat. She didn't know he graciously planned to take her back after the divorce, but it doesn't matter.

The incident proves he never respected her, so she leaves with Heinrey to become the Western Queen.

The West isn't really as powerful as an Empire yet, but oh! Wait! As soon as Navier is crowned and by his side Heinrey proclaims that the Kingdom is an Empire now.

How convenient!

Heinrey is pretty and morally grey, but he is a good husband. He worships the ground Navier walks on. When rumors about her infertility start spreading he does not give a crap. He has ways to fix the issue if it's true, and if she's actually not the infertile one he's ready to kill whoever started the story. His bird form is cute enough to be a marketable plushy. It's shitty that he lied about being a bird for the entire first season, but Navier needed comfort. He provided it how he could. As a pet. Yes I know it's weird. Navier wasn't willing to befriend him at first though. He had to use his adorable bird body to bring her guard down!

Wait.

That makes him sound worse...

He's a good husband though.

I swear...

This is Christa. The young dowager Queen of the newly formed Western Empire. Heinrey's sick brother kicked the bucket. Now Heinrey is Emperor and he's brought a foreign Empress home. Slight problem. Christa is in love with Heinrey. She uses a spiked love potion, and a man who is madly in love with Naiver, in an attempt to seduce him and destroy the couple. Christa is pathetic, like Rashta, but she's a little smarter. Her love for Heinrey is the weakness that brings her down. She kills herself after she boldly claims that Heinrey slept with her, in an attempt to become his Mistress. Heinrey produces proof that the affair doesn't exist...and Christa doesn't recover mentally.

Fair warning.

Remarried Empress gets darker and darker until the ending.

Heinrey throws a party, to celebrate Navier's pregnancy, right after her death.

Suddenly I don't think Heinrey is cute anymore...

This is Grand Duke Kaufman. He falls in love with Navier. He accidentally used a love potion he was experimenting with. It turns out that the potion effects are extra strong when you already have a crush. Kaufman never intended to act on his feelings, but the potion eventually turns him into a madman.

His story ends after he attacks the Empress.

I think you already know how that ending looks.

Rashta ties everything together really well as a villain. She looks like an idiot, but for a commoner who didn't even know how to write she does pretty well. Her idiotic copycat act is a distraction. It cleverly hides the mastermind behind the scenes. Heinrey. Navier had no clue Heinrey was in love with her when she accepted his proposal. She accepted it because she was desperate to rule. She didn’t want to watch Rashta take her place, and Heinrey took advantage of that.

He sweeps her off her feet. They live happily ever after, but the pile of bodies behind them is quite steep.

(Souvieshu realizes he made a mistake as soon as Navier marries Heinrey. He starts drinking heavily. He travels to the West again and again to beg her to take him back. [ Medea ]

Medea doesn't like anything happening to those she cares about. That she makes that very clear and yet despite this Eros insisted that you start serving Psyche. You, the one person that Medea had told him not to touch or even look at because you were her personal maid and she refused to have another other than you

So it's no surprise that she wants to get violent over it. She's already wanting to ruin Psyche for taking her place and now for taking you

She isn't subtle about it either, throwing herself right in front of you to shield you away from their eyes when the order is ruled in as if it would stop it from being true if they couldn't see you

She argues and it's clear that she's close to blowing up at all of them which many wish to avoid due to her reputation including Psyche who asks that you stay with Medea since you are closest to her but Eros insists and Medea is left to simmer in her rage

Her punishment from her father only accentuates her anger, his mention of the fact that it would be good for her not to have any distractions since she was starting to get too close to you despite having things like her loss to Psyche to have to make up for

She knows that it would be foolish to go against Eros directly and perhaps conferring with Psyche would be an easier alternative but her hatred for her overshadowed her better judgement

She's angry and unfocused for a time, lashing out more often and doing everything she can to keep you close to her, going as far as feeling betrayed when you have to leave because your putting Psyche over her but you can't deny Eros' orders

So she does what she's best at and plans, trying to keep from more irrational plans like kidnapping you and putting you under house arrest, her anger at having you taken from her muddling her mind before she comes up with the plan of having you be seen as unfit to server Psyche and someone that Medea didn't care about. She knew that it was partially because of how close you were to her that he chose you specifically

Not so far that Eros would feel the need to punish you or course but far enough that he would feel the need to have you removed but she has to tell you everything before hand. Her plan and her intentions so you don't misunderstand

Spilled wine and broken tea sets follow as you try to do your work and you know it's Medea's doing when she spills the wine on you herself but you bear with it. Her intelligence isn't so well spoken about for no reason and you already knew her plan

It isn't long until you're removed from your position as Psyche's maid. There are whispers about how much Medea despises you and your incapability as a maid but Medea doesn't care. She can make them go away in seconds. What she does care about it that you're with her now and completely out of Psyche and Eros' reach

[ Navier ]

While she doesn't get violently angry, everyone can see the change in her mood. She's even somewhat distant to her own maids, people that she could consider friends, but they weren't you

Shovietsu knew that you were her favourite maid. He was fully aware from this and she had made this clear. She invited you to her outings, met her brother with you, even took you to visit her parents many a time

Everyone, Shovietsu especially, could see that she cared for you and a lot for that matter so, when he sends you to work for Rashta, she's rather surprised

When she thinks about it, it may have been irrational to be so obviously close with you so of course Shovietsu would want to separate the two of you if he was already trying to disrupt Navier's position but she's still surprised at the fact that he could even think to do that

She goes as far as to believe that you weren't his maid to be able to cast a change to your schedule because you've always been her maid. You grew up together and, beyond being emperor, Shovietsu had no authority over you but the fact that he was the emperor was the problem

She knows she doesn't have as much power as the emperor and causing a ruckus over someone, even if they were a childhood friend, would be deemed as suspicious while she was married

So she makes it as difficult as possible for you to do your job. She certainly isn't going to allow Rashta to take her closest friend and certainly not the person that she would say is the only one that she loved

She doesn't want to see you struggle but it's the easiest way to have Shovietsu fire you and have Navier reinstate you as her maid and she discusses this with you before hand and, having known her for do long, you trust her of course

She has more power than Rashta so when she tells you to stay with her, you stay, when she tells you to do something for her, you do it, all without question, leaving Rashta largely unattended without her personal maid

She stands up for you when he yells and refutes any punishments that he tries to give you for your neglect of his mistress. You know that it's probably wrong to leave the mistress unattended but you trust Navier. She's usually right so why would you question her?

Especially when it works in your favour and you get privately reinstated as Navier's maid again. Now she can have you close to her and as far away from Rashta as she can get you

❣ He will keep you with the strongest metal chains and makes sure some type of guard is with you at all times, does not matter what you have to offer, if they even think to change their minds, their fate will be worse than death.

❣ If you somehow escape, somehow, it won't be long before you're capture, the place you're in is probably underground or HEAVILY secured and you have no way of leaving, he has connections being the brother of the empress...

✣ You met Rashta when you and your family went to the Rimwell astate as a child where you bumped into a lady who was very pretty but an angry scowl on her face which melted when you bumped into her. She bowed down to you and greeted to you, before pushing her daughter in front and making her bow down as well.

✣ You bowed back to them and greeted them as well, because your parents taught you to respect servants who work for you and anyone else who works because they work twice as much as anyone else!

✣ The lady was surprised but smiled warmly before helping you in what ever you need, before leaving you kissed them both on the back of their hands making the little girl who was near the same age as you giggle and blush furiously...

✣ You later met her again, trying to catch a bird in her arms in the large garden of the estate, you quickly befriended her and became very close with her. Her name was Rashta and she worked in the laundry section, slowly you both grew up and you got engaged to the Rimwell family's daughter, Libetti.

✣ You absolutely hated the family for treating their slaves, servants and worker so badly and you despised them, including Libetti with deep hatred, not only did she treat Rashta badly in front of you, she wouldn't allow you to spend time with the people you love, always found a way to blame her mistakes on you, always invaded your personal space, wouldn't listen to anything you say and always created arguments, but for some reason, she was also clingy as hell...

✣ You both grew up near each-other, as you visited your fiancee, Libbeti's manor quite often and sleep at her house in the guest room and sneaked out and you always visited Rashta, even after she lost her parents, you were a very dear friend of her and you both grew up into beautiful people.

✣ Whenever you visited Rashta you would teach her sometimes to help her read and write, which was good because she learnt quickly! And she would also happen with your paperwork sometimes.

✣ You immediately comforted her, and learnt that she had been in love with Alan, the son of the Rimwell family and had a affair with him and she had slept with him, you were crushed but you comforted her and told her it was fine....But you were worried about her being pregnant, and so one night you sneaked her out and got her check up by a physician, who confirmed your worried thoughts about her being pregnant.....

✣ She had to unfortunately announce her pregnancy and had to go through a very horrible pregnancy with a lot of pain and once you heard the Vicount heard how he was going to kill Rashta's baby so their family won't be damaged.....

✣ You were extremely worried about her and asked Libbeti to move in with you in one of your manors and bring some of her servants along with her, and fortunately she brought over Rashta which helped you look over Rashta more regularly

✣ You treated Rashta bette, you provided her with a new maid uniform, gave her her own room for whenever she got tired, got her into education classes on the sideline when Libbeti was busy and also bought her gifts for the baby....Slowly and slowly Rashta started developing feelings for you, strong feelings..

✣ Once Rashta entered her ninth month, you sent Libbeti and her family for a vacation with some of your most trusted servants to keep an eye on them. Rashta was extremely thankful to you for this, she even gave you a kiss on the knuckles....

✣ Upon Rashta giving birth, you immediately gave her baby to a couple who worked for you to look after the baby and told everyone else that the baby had passed away, Rashta was also given time of to spend time with the baby in the couple's cottage or maybe in the other side of the wing, away from Libbeti and her servants.

✣ When Libbeti came back, she asked about Rashta's baby first thing and you told her sadly that the baby had passed away and you gave Rashta a few days off to cope with the baby's death....

✣ Though Libbeti was mad about you giving her days off to cope with the baby's death saying she should still be working hard because she's a slave, you comforted her by saying how it does not matter because you have million other servants.

✣ You spent the day with her, taking her out to dinners, to keep her occupied and keep Rashta out of her mind while Rashta relaxed for the week, luckily it worked as she didn't even realize Rashta wasn't there for the week.

✣ Finally when Rashta came back to work the next week, looking relaxed, fresh and healthy, you immediately called her to your office and checked her up about her health and the baby, Rashta was answering all your questions happily with a heavy blush on her face before she left for her classes.

✣ Soon you would also visit Rashta to look after her baby, often looking after it while Rashta would catch up on her sleep, while you also treated Libbeti to dates and treated her as your real fiancee while hiding your hate and disgust under your mask.

✣ Soon Libbeti's coming of age ceremony was near and before doing anything you revealed to your parents that you were in love with another girl and that Libbeti wasn't in your interest anymore....Your parents understood about it and allowed you to annul your engagement with Libbeti, but only after she came of age.....

✣ You woke up tied to a bed in a completely different room, until Rashta walked in with a tray of food, a huge knife and huge smile of her face, making you breathe a sigh of relief in secret...You weren't gonna let Rashta know this...

✣ As Rashta sat beside your bed and fed you the food, you asked her what she did this, to which Rashta got a scowl on her face and tears filled her eyes before she replied, "Cause I don't want you to marry that Bitch!" , "You mean Libetti?" , "DON'T SAY HER NAME!" Rashta yelled tears down her face and pout on her lips, while Rashta confessed her feelings to you and vented her emotions on everything, without her knowing you untied yourselves...

✣ You slowly sat up making sure Rashta was frightened and scared before gently putting your hands on her waist and asking her to lay down with you, she gently agreed before laying down and put her knife near her bedside table, as she sat there, you immediately pinned Rashta down with all your strength, and kissed her....

✣ Over the span of the next three weeks, you sent a letter to your family explaining you're okay and that you and Rashta were kidnapped and that you were planning on returning with her and it turns out this place was one of Rashta's cottages, she bought with her salaries, you were paying her a very generous amount and it was at the end of empire.

✣ You returned, showing the document s which said that Rashta's father's debt had been paid off and that she was no longer a slave and thus, you were also able to send the Viscount for a few years of prison for abuse, overdue of slavery and other things your trusted spies got out for you through evidences...

✣ You and Rashta ended up getting married and there weren't any rumors of Rashta being a slave and if there were any, they were dissipated very quickly. You adopted a girl who looked similar to you and Rashta a few years after raising Ahn!

❤ Navier there asked her if she would like to study etiquettes and learn about how to be a lady, to which Rashta hesitantly agree, Navier immediately who would help Rashta with etiquettes, manners, talking skills and more.

❤ Navier would often find Rashta in the garden with a few of her maids who were given to Rashta by the emperor, Navier went to the emperor to ask if he was truly in love with Rashta, to which the emperor got mad and dismissed her…

❤ Navier would still talk with Rashta and send her tiny and tiny gifts to her as a friendship token and allow her to call Navier “sister” even though she hated that word from Rashta’s mouth, not realizing how she was getting obsessed with Rashta…

❤ Soon all the things with Heinry happened, where Navier then asked if he would allow Navier to reveal a few things about herself, Navier then told Heinry about how Navier liked this lady, not revealing it was Rashta, Heinry promised to her wingman.

❤ Navier was absolutely transfixed on Rashta during the ball seeing her dance and even invited her to dance with her later on in the night seeing her look so pretty, she had the urges to kiss her and take her right then and there, but she couldn’t she is an empress. And Rashta is a concubine.

❤ Navier slowly and slowly had some of her maids planted in as Rashta’s maid, who gave Navier every single information about every motion done by Rashta. They were also very much sure to treat Rashta nicely because if a single cut or a single tear from her eye would result in them wishing they would die.

❤ Navier in all honestly would send her gifts and love letters telling her how she was the most beautiful person in this world, the one who would bring happiness to her face, how she should be the one to rule over them with kindness and all that, but would never send it to her.

❤ Whenever Rashta would do classes with her, Navier would be touching her to show her how it’s supposed to be done and how she should be doing it and how a single thing could completely change the meaning of her gesture.

❤ Navier upon kidnapping Rashta and killing everyone who defied her (Sovieshu/ heinrey/Kosair/others) , she’s hellishly touchy and loving to Rashta, doesn’t care that everyone can see her kiss, hug or love the new second empress of the empire…

❤ Navier wouldn’t ever let anyone see Rashta with their eyes, if they look wrongly at her, she will get their eyes gouged out, don’t worry she will never show anything to Rashta, Rashta rarely ever sees anything, she’s lucky if she even gets to go to the garden of the castle or she gets out of her and Navier’s shared room…

❤ Rashta doesn’t usually see many people other than a few chosen maids, who get changed every day, but she doesn’t mind she’s happy to receive so any gifts from her wife, he one who spoils her and her daughter rotten, RimWell are all dead and Ahn is back with her because Rashta tells Navier of her past on their wedding night…

❤ Navier hates when Rashta disobeys her, but nothing one hard slap from Navier to Rashta can’t solve, Navier’s anger does scare everyone including Rashta, who cries herself to sleep those types of night, but always forgives Navier the next day…

❤ Navier is very adamant on the behavior she accepts from people around her, including Rashta, her punishments aren’t too hard, just enough to engrave a lesson on Rashta’s head. Just some slapping, starving and locking up nothing too bloody

❤ Navier will 100% engrave her name in Rashta’s body somewhere, while she’s knocked out as to stop her from whining, crying, wailing and sobbing so loudly, also to slow down the bloodshed from Navier’s side…

(Honestly, this became a Sovieshu (platonic) and Navier (romantic) with Yandere! Rashta HCs I'm very much disappointed with myself|| Willing! Navier and Willing! Sovieshu|| Yandere! Navier)

❈ This things starts when Rashta was still a slave at the Rimwell estate, she would steal Libetti's portraits to stare at them at night and would return them very early in the morning, Alan noticed this and so out of annoyance bought a Navier portrait during a business trip for her so she wouldn't get into trouble.

❈ Sooner or later, she escaped and got caught into the emperor's trap, where she was taken to the imperial palace and was healed, where the emperor was taken by her beauty and asked her to his concubine.

❈ Rashta immediately refused to this, but she was still too weak and hurt to be left alone like that, she and Sovieshu got to know each-other in that time when she's healing and Sovieshu soon realized that he wanted to keep Rashta around, she became close to him in that time period, not as a lover or concubine though, maybe as a friend or sister, and so he built up the courage and asked Rashta to be his sister.

❈ Of-course she agreed, she wanted to have someone to love her and be with her, she liked Sovieshu and felt touch-starved and wanted to have someone to help navigate her through this world, also maybe because she wanted to meet Navier at-least once.

❈ She was having her education, while also starting her own business of dressing and women’s accessories, it included jewellery, shoes, perfumes, make-up, night-gowns, undergarments and even women’s hygiene products..

❈ This made a big hit in not only the Eastern empire but also nearby Kingdoms and Empire and thus, Rashta was there being a CEO and having multiple shops across empires and kingdom at reasonable to everybody, including commoners and peasant can enjoy them.

❈ She has everyone follow certain rules in her shops otherwise you’re thrown out, which is no discrimination, not treating any of the workers badly or anything us people suffer on a daily basis…

❈ Thanks to this, Rashta also gets to meet Navier who is a fan of her designs and she treats Rashta with respect, being her husband’s sister after all, and soon they became quick friends, one golden retriever girl and one black cat girl, such an amazing “friendship” , just “Girls being gal pals”…

❈ Things are going differently behind the curtains as Rashta and Navier are often yelled at by Sovieshu for putting on such marks that will make people gossip, but its fine, cause Rashta doesn’t listen! And she still leaves hickeys on Navier and now everybody in the palace know Navier has a lover other than Sovieshu who she has come over to her room every night…

❈ At-least being in a relationship solves 20% of the problems caused by Rashta as a yandere as compared to if she was not in a relationship with Navier……Does not mean, Rashta will not do irrational things, Rashta is like √2 in a question where you don’t even need it…If you get what I mean…

❈ Rashta kills everybody who even talks or thinks about Navier or Sovieshu in a slightly wrong way or disagree with their point of views, Yes, Rashta is a platonic yandere for her dear brother, Sovieshu…

❈ Rashta is very much hesitant letting any other women spend alone time with Navier for her past with Alan, because Alan wasn’t very much kind to her and when Rashta finally finds someone who likes her for herself, she doesn’t want them to find someone else who they think looks even slightly better than her.

❈ Rashta doesn’t give off punishments that much, maybe a few slaps here and there and maybe starving Navier, she never gives punishments to Sovieshu, she thinks he’s still a child, even though Sovieshu is around 5 years older than her….She only gives him a scolding and maybe a slap if very angry, but for Navier it’s different…But she barely ever gives off punishments to the two, because she thinks it’s other people’s fault

❈ She also hasn’t let anybody else date Sovieshu, only maybe Heinry or maybe Kosair, Kaufman is a high one in respect in her eyes (as male suitors) but only after threatening them badly…She only thinks of a few maybe a few of her maids (as female suitors) to let Sovieshu date them in girls..

❈ Rashta, is both Navier and Sovieshu’s personal taste tester, seeing if anything is poisonous and only letting the two eat, she also does this thing with everything else, she’s very protective and often overthinks things and checks everything… She doesn’t want her loves ones to be hurt!

❈ Also she spoils Navier rotten, by making her some hand-made gifts, making her jewellery, clothing, perfumes, handmade flower bouquets, candles with flowers, a tiny letter or maybe those jars with all the reasons she loves Navier , some of those gifts are also given to Sovieshu…

❈ Rashta is honestly more open and gives more freedom to a willing! Darling as compared to a non-willing! Darling. Rashta lets Navier do whatever she wants while she does things in her place, though Navier doesn’t want to put so much burden on Rashta, she also likes the tiny breaks and then they do the work together!
