Title: The unknown deal

Summary: You thought that he thought of you as nothing more than a friend when in reality he was the one who asked for your hand in marriage. And he would not let you go so easily.
Additional warnings/tags: Nobility au, (technically) forced marriage, choking and violence used again reader, you know those villain manhwas? it is something like that, a bit ooc *sweats*

It was decided by the king, that you were to wed one of the most dangerous princes in the kingdom. You tried your best to keep your bile in, as people started murmuring behind your back, most people pitying you while others delighted to find something to gossip about. "A pity" they said. "She will die soon, caught in the hands of a demon." you heard them say.
"Her head would be rolling," they said.
You could only wish that they were joking, exaggerating if not. Yet you knew who the 2nd prince was, a man who killed many on the battlefield killing drenched in blood not only by his enemies but also his own. He was a blood-crazed maniac who didn't care about others except for the delight in a world filled with blood.
That was the man you have become engaged to.
You felt faint. You watch one of your parents fall to the floor quickly supported by the servants and their partner. You didn't know what to do except bow unable to refuse the king's command.
You glance at the 2nd prince and flinched when your eyes connected. His face was devoid of any emotion except annoyance and impatience you wondered how long you will survive.
The king really was cruel.... when in his private office with your parents right beside you, your father tried to argue with the king that this was so sudden! Yet the ruler of the nation only pushed the problem away stating that things would work out in the end but of course, it isn't that simple that you too also need to put effort into it as well. "A marriage isn't only the work from one side and it would break my heart if you don't even try no?"
You didn't see a benevolent ruler who was worried for his 2nd son instead greed was in his eyes.
The first time you two were forced to meet it was in the guest room of the castle. Where you were forced to wait for hours patiently for the prince to come. Even when he did you wondered if it was better to wait even more hours than walk on eggshells as you tried and tried to make a conversation with him fearing at one point you might offend him and he would cut your head off. It didn't help how suffocating his stare was but you managed.... you managed.
"Is the tea to your liking?" "... hmmm.."
"What are your hobbies?" "... nothing in particular."
You somehow managed to survive through a few more realizing that rather than talking it would be much preferred if you just find peace in his silence and his stare. Sip your tea and when the teapot runs out then head out.
You soon started to fall for that routine thinking that this was what Gaara wanted. But maybe you were wrong because for the first time after a month Gaara was the one waiting for you and greeting you.
"Hello... you-... you are here.."
Even with his serious face, you could hear the hesitance in his voice, unsure if what he was doing was correct. It was during that visit you wondered if he was scary... if the rumors were true.
It wasn't long since you started talking more often to Gaara when he awkwardly asked you for your favorite foods and colors while you patiently waited for his answers. Maybe it was then you started to have ideas. Because you realize Gaara was actually kind, that you thought that he was misjudged. That if they could just see that he wasn't what they think he was his life could change for the better and the rumors would be gone.
He was trying you can see that, and from there you opened your heart a little by little.
It was your mission from then on and when you told him about it... surprisingly when you thought he would revert back to a scary face he didn't instead almost meekly followed you. He did what you said and when you told him to do. And slowly very very slowly things started to change.
Sure there were maids and servants scared to go near the prince but people started to trust him a little more. What also helped was when he befriends a blonde prince from another nation and helped remove the bad blood between them. Instead of fear, there was respect in the eyes of the nobles. You were happy even if Gaara looked at you with a bit of confusion in his eyes, you could see the small tilt in his lips as he looked at you.
So it soon became a shock when you heard that Gaara had to leave for war, a nation right beside Suna had demanded a war that Gaara as the prince had to attend. He had left for many wars and battles in the past, and you didn't care back them yet now you cannot help but worry for him when he gently smiled at you and turned his back.
He promised he would return.
And he did, with a victory and the cheers of the people.
You were so happy for Garra, when he had returned with victory many cheered his name and threw flowers and confetti at the young man. They have won the war, and everything was okay. He came back alive.
You thought that this was the end, you thought that you have made your peace, you have fulfilled the trade that you made in your head. he didn't want to marry you after all no? It was the kind decision, not his and you wanted to respect that.
When you readied the divorce papers you headed to the office of a certain somebody.
"What is this?" The shock and anger in his tone weren't what you were excepting from him. When you thought that he didn't love you and wanted to leave this relationship as much as you did. You were friends not lovers in the end... or so you thought when you flinched in surprise as the paper you prepared was torn into pieces. What..?
"I did all this just for you and when it is all done you would dare throw me away like this?" You took a step back, the table under Gaara creaked at the pressure under his hand as he glared at you. The pressure was heavy, hard to break, taking a step back again he didn't let you.
Instead, he was right in front of you holding your hand so tightly you felt like it was about to break. He was staring at you like a predator ready to rip you apart.
"Gaara!" You screamed his name trying to get him to calm down. There must have been some- some kind of mistake!! Yet he would not hear it walked towards you.
His hands were on your neck as he looked at your face. Anger resentment and jealousy are obvious in his eyes. "Did you find another man, that now you want to leave me?" "N-no!" "Then what is it!"
You forgot how it was to fear the man in front of you, how in the past he was once cruel and frightening. You forgot his sharp eyes as you were nothing more than a small animal compared to a monster. You forgot everything and now it came back and slapped you on the face.
“Try to leave me but you won't. Not if I could help it.” His words scared you as you tried to pull his hands away from yourself. The smirk on his face as he leaned in to kiss you on the forehead. "Did you know, I and the king had made a deal a long time ago. That if I killed all his enemies he will give you to me."
“You are mine, nobody could take you away from me. You cannot run away from me because you belonged to me.”

Shikamaru Naara:
He would use his shadow jutsu to bind you. With your arms and legs wrapped up, you have no way to fight back. He would leave you helpless, constantly smirking and sneering at you while you beg for release. With your hands tied up, you’re unable to reach for a shuriken or form hand seals.
“God, this is such a drag. I mean, you’re just so boring. Can’t you at least fight back?”
Naruto Uzumaki:
I don’t think Naruto would ever raise a hand to you no matter what. That being said, if he were to punish you with a jutsu, I think he would punish you with his Talk no Jutsu. I really just can’t see him causing harm, so he’ll get through to you with the art of words. He will manipulate you, make you feel like everything is your fault and that you can’t see how much he’s doing for you. He’ll make you understand him, understand just how much he loves you. This jinchuriki wont stop until you can fully appreciate his efforts to discipline you. You’ll probably be in tears by the time he’s done talking your ear off.
“Now do you understand me? I love you so much. I can’t stand by anymore and do nothing!”
Sasuke Uchiha:
Sasuke isn’t above pain and humiliation. One of his favorite ways to punish you is through burning you with his fire jutsu. He’d flay your skin, delighting in the way you scream and writhe beneath his touch. He’d caress your skin when it’s all over, admiring the way HE has caused you such pain.
“There now, see? It wasn’t that difficult. If you didn’t want me to do that, then you should have obeyed.”
Kakashi Hatake:
If there’s anyone who could figure out how to make Chidori more whip-like, it would be this guy. He’s adamant to get through to you, and if he has to use a jutsu to do it, then so be it. You better pray that the Copy Ninja is in a good mood because if he’s having a really bad day…be prepared for One Thousand Years of Death.
Yamato:
He would probably just use his “draconic methods” to make a paddle from wood and jutsu your ass with it.
“These archaic measures are effective in securing your obedience, so I will punish you accordingly.”
Gaara:
To him, he punishes you with his sand. To you, he torments you with the damned element. The tiny grains swirling about you, attacking your skin in various ways. You’ll scream from the pain as Gaara stands there with his arms crossed. He looks stoic, not even giving away an ounce of his emotion as he strikes you with what feels like more of a whip rather than sand. On the inside, he’ll wish you could have been a good girl so he wouldn’t have to do these kinds of things.
“I don’t like doing these things to you. Why do you make me punish you like this?”

▸ There was one thing Gaara thought that he liked among the darkness.
▸It happened to be [Name], the daughter of the owner of the local florist in Suna.
▸To the little redhead, [Name] had been light when he was shunned by everyone, even his own family, who were scared of him.
▸She was the reason he lived.
▸Offeriong him sweet candies secretly whenever she could or offering to teach him about the flowers in the shop.
▸When her parents decided to travel the world when [Name] was old enough, she took over the shop.
▸At the same time he became the Kazekage.
▸Gaara continued to woo her so that he could win her affection.
▸He didn't succeed until the tailed beast was separated from him, making him more rational.
▸Without the beast, his obsession grew but didn't leak that would make [Name] run away from him.
▸Gaara and [Name], would be forever together.
You stepped on the hard tiles of your shared home as softly as possible to not alert a certain redhead.
Only to open the door to your bedroom to see Gaara with his arms crossed.
His sea-green eyes seemed too intense as they gazed upon you, making you cringe and step back.
"Where were you?" Gaara asked, his tone was calm but underneath that facade was a possessive man who didn't want you to stay away from him.
"You left without telling me." His tone tune accusatory making you gulp as your mind raced to what you could say to him.
"I just wanted some... some fresh air." Your voice turned timid as you finished the sentence making those cold green eyes soften to a degree.
"You know how dangerous the world is right?" When you nod, he continues: "Don't go without informing or I won't be able to protect you."
He wanted to have some ninjas guard you from the shadows but betrayal was easy, especially among humans, he thought about how his friend Naruto had summoning frogs and thought he should also do the same.
"You wanted fresh air right, let's go." Gaara dragged your body into his arms and held you close.
The relationship was nice in the beginning, you felt flattered that such a high-ranked man wanted you.
Soon, you realised that the rose too had its thorns.
You were isolated and while you were introverted in nature, it didn't mean you absolutely disliked every human interaction.
There were some people you liked but in the end, even they drifted apart because of Gaara who used all the tactics so you could only rely on him.
With everyone running away in fear, your flower shop was forced to be closed making you rely on Gaara even more now that he had the power in the monetary terms as well.
There was no space for you, you thought to yourself.
Then a hand gripped your wrist tightly making you wince.
"Who are you thinking about?" The dark undertone in Gaara's voice made you shiver and he tightened the grip on your wrist.
"No one." You replied trying to get back your wrist which was now hurting.
"Really?"
Seeing you nod, Gaara loosened the grip on your hand and you could see the skin become bruised under the harsh grip.
The redhead clicked his tone as he gently brushed his fingers on the dark bruise on your wrist
"See, how will you live without me?"
He loved you too much, he could not let you go.
Gaara would never let you go.

“I’m Gaara of the desert. I’m curious about you too. Who are you?”
“Uchiha Sasuke”
“And you?”
Sasuke internally gritted his teeth as the future Kazekage set his sights upon you, eerie seafoam green eyes checking you out from head to toe as if committing to memory every feature you possessed. It reminded him all too easily of how Gaara always tried to get close to you whenever he visited Konoha, making up stupid excuses about cultural exchanges and whatnot.
It sickened him.
“I’m Haruno….”
A growl tried to rip its way out of his throat, and Sasuke felt that heat building up in his eyes, his body instinctively wanting to unleash the Sharingan upon the desert-dweller. However, Gaara and his team luckily left before the last Uchiha’s remaining self-restraint snapped.
“Quite a surly fellow that one, isn’t he?”
“I’m sure he’s not a bad person, Haku. If anything, I think it might be nice to get to know him and make new friends.”
As much as he loved your warmth, Sasuke certainly didn’t appreciate it when it was directed at others, much more his former rivals.
Regardless of who stood in his way, he will not waste his second chance.

Sasuke wins his preliminary match just like he’d done in his first life. However, this time he does it without the burden of the curse mark weighing him down.
He doesn’t care for the adoration of fangirls like Ino, much less the covetous stare of the disguised Orochimaru, who craved the power of his bloodline. The only person Sasuke looked at after he swiftly defeated his opponent was you.
The smile he receives from you is all the reward he needs.
For now, that is.
He will play his cards right and use all the knowledge of the future he possesses to ensure that his future with you is secured.
When he reaches his team by the stands, Sasuke pretends to falter in his footsteps, almost stumbling to the floor when he nears you, and just as he expected, you catch him and place his arm around your shoulders.
“Lean on me, alright? We’re a team, after all.”
The last Uchiha grunts in reply to keep up appearances but otherwise leans more of his weight on you. He ignores all the eyes that suddenly focus on you two, relishing in the softness & heat of your skin against his own.

I love your stories, I can't wait for the next update!
Please don't push yourself to hard and take good care of your health.
Though my choices of literature can be... Questionable? I truly do enjoy the way you write your characters and how you slowly build them.
The theme of "yandere" has always been a difficult one for me.
Is it simply commiting immoral acts for the sake of love? Or is it something deeper than that?
Most yandere stories I stumbled upon has a swift narrative, one chapter the mc meets soon to be Yan character and then next their a yandere that has already fallen to the point of no return.
So, if you don't mind, can you recommend some for me to read?

Title: Rose Garden

Summary: You made a deal with the beast that in exchange for your father's release from prison you will be the one to stay.
Additional warnings/tags: fairytale au, death to multiple characters, dark themes, beauty and the beast has stockholm syndrome in the story with a violent ml, not a "good" ending

Such a cruel thing for faith to do trapped alone in a castle... you lived with a monster as his prisoner.
Or maybe it was not? When you choose to come here in exchange for your father who stole a rose from the rose garden. The monster was horrible and cruel to him trapping your father in a small tiny cage alone left to rot.
He would have died if he was left there... with tears in your eyes you begged for his release. But the monster would not let him go, so in exchange for your father's life, you choose to sacrifice yourself and your life. Your father begged you not to do so, told you that it was a horrible decision but the deal was already made as the monster dragged him away from your arms out of the castle.
He didn't hurt you... at least not really, so close when he screamed death threats at you when you wanted to get away. You were not allowed to run away but now that your father was gone and safe you tried to.
But he was watching you. Multiple of times you tried to leave only to be caught by the monster.
One way or another you found out his name, Gaara. He wasn't human no matter how you looked at him. He was a monster made out of sand with ears and tail.
He had a hard time showing affection or kindness through speech but in the end, he let you out of the prison where your father was once locked.
That had to be counted for something you thought.
So long as you don't run away you were actually free to do whatever you want, and when you didn't plot your escape you looked around the castle towers curious about what each room held. He let you do as you please, he didn't get angry tho there would be a warning glare every so often.
You don't know how it happened or what cause you to say it, but after a few days of bumping him in the corridors and gardens, you asked him if he could join you for lunch. The weird look that he gave soon turned into a glare as he told you not to get any funny ideas.
You told him you didn't which surprised him, and after an awkward lunch, you left wondering if he was really that bad. Not that you have a choice either way when he started to join your meal times whether you liked it or not.
He was a weird monster you genuinely thought when he constantly stared at you while you were eating. While you were nervous the first time you started to grow used to it and sometimes choose to stare back.
It was a slow thing really, something that neither you nor he realized when you started to talk with each other more and more often. Mostly the books in the library would be your only topic but with how many books there were in the library you were sure it would be a while before you run out of topics.
You didn't love him, not really but you were starting to become a little comfortable around him. Sometimes you would throw jokes at him that he would not understand, but he was quiet he wasn't angry as he watched you laugh or smile at your own joke.
The more time you spent with him, the more you smiled as you walked around the gardens or help each other with searching for an interesting book. You never thought you would have a reading buddy, you didn't think he would be interested in books, but seeing him read right beside you made you understand that your thoughts that he was nothing but a monster was… wrong.
That was your first mistake.
Even as you started to have a lovely time here you started to miss your home. Homesickness made you yearn for your home yet unable to reach and when it was particularly painful that one night unable to sleep you left your bed to the garden.
You didn't think you would see a familiar face that night hiding in the bushes calling to you. Your father and friends. Shock you were you told them to return even as tears fell from your eyes but they refuse to do so unless you were coming with them. You decided to hope.
That was your second mistake.
You were so close to running away, with your father and friends... so close.
Who would have thought that he was watching you, always awake and looking to see what you would do? You begged him to let them go, the shock when he ripped your friend's arm out and how your friend screamed in agony will forever stay in your mind the corps of your father and friends on the floor dead.
You belonged to him the moment you signed your life in exchange for your father’s. And Gaara would make sure of it as he pushed you into your room locking the door so that you would not be able to leave. You can never escape.

Yandere Gaara is obsessive, overprotective, and self-aware.
He obsesses over you touching him. He’ll paint your nails if it means he can hold your hand. His favorite thing is when you allow him to rest his head on your lap and you drag your fingers through his hair softly.
This Jinchuriki is overprotective because he fears something bad happening to you. He has been faced with loss and depression in his life. You are his safe haven. He needs to keep tabs on you and make sure you’re okay at all costs. He’ll go as far as he has to, even if that means stalking you.
A variation of his protection isn’t just killing for you, but he’ll find ways to manipulate you into settling down with him. This might look like isolation. He’ll find a way to get in between you and your friends, shutting off their contact with you, forcing you to turn to him for solace seeing as he’s the only one left. He’ll have you make friends with his sister, and he’ll make sure that she talks about how great he is to you.
Being self-aware is really hard for him. On one hand, he knows something isn’t exactly right. He knows it’s not normal to obsess over a person and stalk them. However, he’s not going to do anything about it, and this leads to further turmoil because he feels guilty for not putting a stop to his behavior.
Panda Boy seeks your guidance on so many things, believing that you hold the wisdom of a thousand gods. You could be the village idiot, but he sees you as someone worthy of being the Kazekage’s advisor. Isn’t that so sweet? It’s not at all a tiring job that you didn’t want in the first place. Like I said before, he’ll do anything to keep you close to him.
Gaara can have a mean side, but you’ll never see it unless you SEVERELY piss him off. You’ve only seen this side of him one time when you kept asking him to stop sending shinobi to guard your place. He blew up on you, frightening you into silence. He slammed his hand down on the table and stood up, pointing in your face. “I’m doing this for your safety! Don’t stand there and act so ungrateful. Leave before I end up doing something I might regret.” His sand started floating from his gourd, and you ran from his office.
He doesn’t know how to flirt, and it’s hilarious to watch his attempts at flirtation. “How are…your legs look very long today.” He gets better later on, saying things like, “Your beauty is more rare than painite.” It’s cute, though, and you start to see a side of Gaara you didn’t even know was there.
Lastly, you will get to know his romantic side because he will have dozens of roses sent to your house on a regular basis because “flowers don’t last forever” as he puts it. He will fill your sweet tooth craving (if you have one) by ordering you the finest desserts. If you don’t have a sweet tooth, he’ll spoil you with the finest presents of silks and jewelry.
All in all, he’s just a man who wants to have you in his life, and he’ll do anything he has to in order to make that happen.

NARUTO UZUMAKI
🍜 Why do you cry? Bawl your eyes out like a child, a helpless infant. He assumed you were hurt, though he could not find a scratch on your body. Not a hair on your head had been harmed so, why are you weeping? Naruto would try to comfort you, he was in a frenzy much like yourself. His heart swelling painfully tight at your tears. He wanted to hold you, wipe your tears away. But alas, you wouldn’t allow it.
🍜 Somewhere in between, he began crying himself. Not with the hope for pity, no, not at all. But genuine grief for you, his beloved. Your tears had been long forgotten about as you found yourself consoling the hopeless man. Holding his shoulders in a firm grip as unruly sobs shook him, fled his lips like an uninhabited stream. Only then did you realize your mistake, how he somehow ensure your safety in mere seconds.
🍜 “Don’t hate me, {Name}-chan, I didn’t mean to make you cry!” What a pity. He wouldn’t even harm a fly, the poor boy. “Say you’ll forgive me!” He buried his head deep into your lap, wet tears damping the thin fabric. The fox’s grip was exceedingly tight as you could feel his nails chewing at your thighs. Now, what will you do?
GAARA
🏜 He did not know how to react. Gut-wrenching sobs tore through the air, you could do little to hold them back. They left in waves, just like the very seas you had once admired. Gaara was at a loss for words. His chest pinching painfully tight prepared to suffocate him in any waking moment. He had not wished to make you cry, oh god no.
🏜 The man knew little about the concept of “comfort”, let alone how to give it to someone. So rather than that he provides you reassurance. Heeding the hysterics pouring past your lips, each more inaudible than the last. The man simply could not fathom your anguish, nor did he desire to. All that mattered was stopping the pesky tears plaguing your being, ruining your pretty skin.
🏜 He rested his hand upon your head. Weaving through the troublesome tresses that resist him. His touch was warm and tender, almost comforting. Gaara felt terrible for not knowing what caused your tears. The faint trembling of his hands showed as such. "{Name}," His voice was hushed, no more than a whisper. "Now, take a deep breath, and tell me what's troubling you." Now, what will you do?
ITACHI UCHIHA
🍡 A sight that would break his heart. The seemingly resistant surface shattered with just one whimper. He was quick to comfort you. Lying a light hand on the top of your head. There wasn’t so much as a twitch of his lips nor a softening of his eyes, almost as though he was negligent to your cries. As though he cared not for the sorrow devouring your joy. Oh, how he wishes it were true, yet his heart deceives him.
🍡 The Uchiha heaved you into his arms, careful not to startle you. Bitter tears swept from the corners of your eyes. You were cradled like a small child, slowly rocked back and forth to the sweet murmurs of his heart. He sought our warmth somewhere in your coldness, some form of acceptance…understanding of his selfish actions.
🍡 “I wouldn’t think of harming you {Name},” Itachi murmurs, his words nearly missing your ears. “So please, wipe your tears; Don’t cry anymore.” Now, what will you do?
