Affection — how do they show their love and affection?

His love language is something I like to call labors of love. He's willing to do anything to make darlings day to day life better. Cooking, cleaning, running a bath, giving massages etc.

Blood — how messy are they willing to get when it comes to their darling?

He never resorts to violence, doesn't have a reason to. If he needs someone out of the picture he has non lethal means, maybe he had an ability or device that can hypnotize or manipulate memories.

Cruelty — how would they treat their darling once abducted?

He nurses his darling. Part learning about human biology, part genuine care. He makes sure darling won't have to lift a finger. He also periodically runs a few tests on darling to make sure they're healthy and sends the data to his people.

Darling — aside from abduction, would they do anything against their darling’s will?

He can get very frisky during his heat cycle, he can have sex at any point in time but when he's in heat he can barely control himself. He does try to put some precautions in place to avoid anything from happening but it never works.

Exposed — how vulnerable are they when it comes to their darling?

He's not very vulnerable. He's an overly observant individual. Quick to figure out if darling is trying to use his love against him.

Fight — how would they feel if their darling fought back?

He's hurt but he tries his best to diasculate the situation. He gives darling some space when they become confrontational. If they still do not calm down he'll perhaps sedate them.

Game — is this a game to them? How much would they enjoy watching their darling try to escape?

He does have an odd fascination with watching darlings escapades. Sometimes he'll disguise himself and leave a clear escape point and watch how darling goes about their attempt.

Hell — what would be their darling’s worst experience with them?

Probably the first time he had his way with darling. Being strapped up to a strange chair. Covered in extraterrestrial monitoring equipment, having needles prodded in their arms. He tries to talk his darling through everything , that all the medical equipment is to help monitor them so they are safe but it only scares them more. The can't have and sedative, pain killer or aphrodisiac while it's happening so he knows their physical limits.

Ideals — what kind of future do they have in mind for their darling?

He hopes that him and his darling can be an example of unionship between his kind and theirs. Besides that he wants to have a lot of children with them if it's possible.

Jealousy — do they get jealous? How do they handle it?

At first he's not jealous but after consuming a fair amount of human media he begins to understand human courtship. The idea of human partnership and sensuality makes him worry about other people trying to swoon them. He begin to disguise himself as objects in their bag and stalks them day to day.

Kisses — how do they act around or with their darling?

He's alway soft spoken and reassuring. He's never raised his voice at his darling. He alway gives something to darling or helps them with daily tasks. Also very physically affectionate.

Love letters — how would they go about approaching their darling?

He's very friendly, introduces himself formally and gives darling a small gift which is a custom of his people when formally greeting one another. He's honest and tells you he's an intergalactic pilot who is surveying earth as a potential home for his people. They laugh believing it's a joke or he's a bit too fond of star trek.

Mask — are their true colors drastically different from the way they act around everyone else?

Not really, he's mostly the same. At times though he can come off a little perverse.

Naughty — how would they punish their darling?

He refuses to let them leave the house, if they need to go to work he'll visit the manager and get them to file paid leave. If family is visiting he'll tell them that they have a fever and that it's best if they leave them alone for a bit. If police get called because a family member, friend or colleague become suspicious he'll convince them that nothing is happening.

Oppression — how many rights would they take away from their darling?

If he imprisons darling then they'll have no contact with others. If he's in heat then there is no negotiating with him.

Patience — how patient are they with their darling?

He's extremely patient, he prefers to observe and will have minimal involvement in most situations. After all he does have to keep a low profile. Hypnotism is an option but only if necessary.

Quite — if their darling dies, leaves, or successfully escapes, would they ever be able to move on?

He would be instantly looking for them if they escaped. It won't take long to find them as he could use the people around the clue him in as to where they may have gone. He would be distraught if his darling died, he could move on with his life but couldn't love again.

Regret — would they ever feel guilty about abducting their darling?

No he's doing them a favor. They won't have to work again in his care. He also has to use darling to help with his studies on human for his people.

Stigma — what brought about this side of them (childhood, curiosity, etc)?

I think his kind breeds for life and he never found a partner on his home planet as well as some miscommunication. Perhaps darling gives him something or does something innocent that his kind considers a form of courtship and he takes it as a sign of romantic attraction.

Tears — how do they feel about seeing their darling scream, cry, and/or isolate themselves?

He doesn't like seeing his darling distressed and tries to make the feel better but there are times he has to run tests on them, he tries to comfort them. Explaining everything step by step to calm them down.

Unique — would they do anything different from the classic yandere?

No violence or aggression what so ever. Also the fact he also uses darling as a study on humans.

Vice — what weakness can their darling exploit in order to escape?

I don't think there is a way of exploiting his weaknesses. He's quick to pick up on darlings mode and can tell very easily whether darling’s words and actions are genuine or faked.

Wit’s end — would they ever hurt their darling?

Only in medical situations such as using syringes or other objects. Even still he's cooing and reassuring darling the whole time.

Xoanon — how much would they revere or worship their darling?

He loves them so much. He dots on them a lot and always makes sure they're provided for.

Yearn — how long do they pine after their darling before they snap?

He can wait for a long time for them, he doesn't necessarily snap but his heat can cause him to act out on his feelings way sooner then he intended.

Zenith — would they ever break their darling?

Yes, he figuratively kills darling with kindness. Through all of the breeding, all of the medical experiments and through all of the isolating he still remains calm and soft spoken. Even if darling trusted someone and told them what was going on he would know and erase that from their memories or even turn them against darling and be waiting for them to come crying back to him. In the end he's the one in control of their life now. Eventually they will cave in.

Pairing: yandere!Mikitaka x gender neutral!reader

Description: You always thought that your friend was joking when he told you that he wasn’t human. Until he decided to prove it.

Warnings: yandere tropes (obviously), stalking, implied kidnapping

You had met Mikitaka through Josuke originally and despite how strange he was, the two of you had really seemed to hit it off. You thought that all of the weird things that he did related to being an ‘alien’ were great.

He would ask you what random objects were and you would describe them as best you could. He always told you about what life on ‘his planet’ was like in return for your help. It was hours of fun and it never got boring. He must have been extremely creative to come up with something that complex and you wondered if he was planning to write a book one of these days.

You didn’t believe him at all, but you also didn’t really have the heart to shatter the little world that he had built for himself. You liked being part of it and you liked hearing about it. The two of you were extremely close and you could never hurt him like that regardless of what you thought. It would be wrong on so many levels.

One day though, you were finally put on the spot. Okuyasu was trying to make a case for Mikitaka being human again and this time you were dragged into it against your will. “Hey y/n you agree with me right? There’s no way this guy is for real.”

“Um...” you didn’t have much to say. You couldn’t really since you were being pulled in two different directions. On one hand, you wanted to be honest with your friends, but on the other hand you couldn’t.

“I can assure you y/n, the fact that I am capable of changing my shape is proof enough.”

You can’t help smiling. Of course he would talk about shapeshifting again. Supposedly he had never done it in front of you. The idea of him being able to turn into other things was wild.

Of course, you hadn’t expected him to act on it this time. Which is why you fell out of your seat when instead of your friend, there was suddenly a giant talking ice cream cone in front of you. You briefly considered that it might be a prank of some kind, but that wasn’t really possible since you only looked away for a second and they would have no way of carrying something that big out here so quickly.

There was also the fact that it could talk. “Are you alright y/n? You fell out of your chair.”

You scramble to pick yourself up, shaking. This had to be some kind of dream. There was no way this could be real. If it was, everything he had ever told you was true. He wasn’t some quirky goofy person like you thought he was. He was an honest and serious alien. A real alien. Was that even what he really looked like?

“I....just remembered I had something to do at home. Some things to fill out. I better leave right now.”

You don’t give much of an explanation before you leave. You needed to get out of there. Not only had everything gotten extremely awkward, but you didn’t feel safe anymore. Not around something that clearly wasn’t human.

Sure he was friendly enough now, but how much did you really know about him? For all you knew he could have some other motive that you wouldn’t have a chance at understanding.You slam the door shut and walk over to the sofa. Maybe watching something would help calm you down.

If you hadn’t decided to turn the tv on, you might have seen the figure standing at your window. You had never looked back to make sure he wasn’t following you to your house. That would be one of your biggest mistakes.

The next day, you didn’t show up at the spot that the two of you normally met up at. You decided to use a different route to walk the way you were going so that you wouldn’t run into him at all.

Part of you felt slightly guilty for just cutting him off like this without explaining it and you knew deep down that there was a possibility you were wrong and you were being too harsh about this whole situation. But the idea of seeing his face again made you feel sick. There was no way you could face him. Not like this. You had no idea what he was capable of and you didn’t want to admit it, but that scared you.

Your plan to avoid him fails however as you practically run into him while walking. “Y/n, you were not where I usually meet you. I wanted to make sure you did not get lost. I have something important to tell you.”

His eyes held a stare that you couldn’t read, almost like his face didn’t know how to show emotions in the same way that you did. You had chalked this up to acting before this and it was only now that you noticed how unsettling it really was. It makes you slowly back away, getting ready to take the first chance at leaving again that you could find.

“What is it?’

“I have grown very close to you y/n. You are the only human that has taken this much time to be kind to me.”

“Yeah?” You make sure your back isn’t against the wall. Hopefully he wouldn’t notice that you were shaking.

“I would like to ask you to be my mate. I am not sure what the customs are on this planet, so I am taking a direct approach.”

You can feel your eyes widen and practically pop out of your skull. Was he serious? He actually had feelings for you this whole time? A real alien was actually trying to ask you out?!

“I....” You bite your lip, trying to find the right words. You didn’t want to accept his proposal, but you also were terrified of rejecting him to his face. Without thinking, you take off running, not even bothering to form a proper response. Your flight instincts were kicking in and you couldn’t even make out the noises behind you which were probably Mikitaka calling after you.

Your legs are aching, but you just keep moving forward, eventually getting home and practically collapsing. As you start to calm down though, you feel yourself relax. He would probably take that as a rejection. It was almost universal that running away from someone like that was a bad sign. Maybe this would save you the trouble of having to cut ties with him slowly.

The rest of the night actually goes pretty well for you. You do a few things related to your hobbies, watch a few shows, eat the really good leftovers in your fridge from the other night, and then head to bed. Because you wore yourself out, you don’t really have much trouble sleeping. All of your doors are locked and you feel completely safe. You drift off with a smile on your face.

You wake up a few hours later to the sound rattling and quickly look around. What time was it? You had things you had to do the next day. What was causing that sound?

You get your answer when you hear a door opening and your blood runs cold. Someone was messing with the keyhole and they had managed to get into your house. They must have picked the lock because you didn’t leave a spare key out.

You needed somewhere to hide and you needed to find it now. You grab your phone from the nightstand and drop down to the floor, sliding yourself under the bed. You weren’t sure if this was a good place, but it was right there and it would be less obvious than the closet.

You hear footsteps approaching and you start messing with your phone, desperately trying to find the emergency number as your heartbeat races.

“I did not receive and answer, so I decided to give you some time.The door was locked, but I was able to transform into a key.”

You recognized that voice. It was him. Of course it was him. You could see a set of shoes stepping into the room and stopping to look around. When he didn’t seem to find anything, he went to look in the closet.

“I did some research on human mating rituals. I unfortunately did not have very many of my friends available, but Rohan was very helpful. Where are you y/n? I would like to know.”

That was even more bad news. You needed to hurry. You move to press the call button, but right before you’re able to the screen blinks off. You curse yourself for not plugging it in before you went to bed.

There was no helping it now. You needed to get out of here while his back was turned and he was still facing away from your hiding spot. You silently move to the edge and try to slowly stand up. But just as you do, he turns around and locks eyes with you.

Maybe you really were over reacting. Maybe you could just tell him the truth? You gulp and try to speak, the fear in your voice even more obvious now than it was during your last encounter.

“I...I’m sorry Mikitaka...I-I’m not interested. I’m not sure I can be with an alien...”

“It’s fine. I understand.”

You let out a sigh of relief. He did understand you and this would be fine. He probably just broke into your house because he didn’t know any better.

“Thank you. Now can you please let me get some sleep? I have an important day tomorrow.”

“I’m afraid I can’t do that y/n.”

Before you can run again or even react, he rushes forward. Before you know it, you are on the ground being pinned down. You were so tired that he was able to catch you off guard and overpower you. You struggle and try to push him off, but you feel something wrap around your body to restrain you. It looks like a regular piece of rope for the most part, except it seems to spool out from the now missing lower half of Mikitaka’s body in an unnatural and disturbing way.

“It’s alright y/n. I will show you how much you mean to me and I will teach you how to be my mate.”

Hello, your excellency. May i be so bold as to request a yandere mikitaka with a paranormal investigator darling? I'm taking creative liberties from invader zim.

I'm showing my age a bit here, and middle school hobbies, but I've never actually seen Invader Zim.

Mikitaka is a very curious individual. He likes to see what's going on! If your investigation leads you to him, he's very happy to indulge, but may not outright say what he is or where he's from until you directly ask him and are deemed to be safe.

Then again, Mikitaka doesn't know what humans are safe and unsafe, so he just means 'nice to him.' Not even kind, just a little pleasant. He's just happy to have someone talk to him, it's alright that you're only speaking to him because your ghost box is acting like it's going to explode.

Mikitaka likes the attention, and will do tricks for you as long as you give him something in return. That something is, of course, quality time.

If the quality time stops, Mikitaka will come find you and 'accidentally' ruin whatever else has caught your attention. Ohh, that's so weiiird, I wonder what happened. Anyway, look what he can do!
