I can't believe I'm just now getting to this- Sorry, anon, I know you sent this is like over a year ago-

You were childhood friends, so great for you- You have a trauma bond with him and Connie

He tells you stuff he would never tell Connie, because he doesn't think Connie would understand

He feels like he can talk to you without judgement

When he develops romantic feelings, he doesn't think they're different than his friendship feeling

But god, he loves when you smile and laugh

It warms something so sweet in him

When he does realize he likes you more than a friend and accepts the feelings, he's to scared to tell you

His fear of rejection overcomes his love for you

When his trauma really starts to get to him, he finds it hard to be around you

He shuts you out, because he doesn't want you to see him like that

"I feel like you're shutting me out," You exaggerate your hands, before point at him and then yourself, "And I don't even know why"

"It's nothing personal, Y/n"

It breaks your heart and you don't know how to get through to him

You'll try and talk to Connie [Bad idea] and she tells you you just need to give him time. [Yeah, you didn't want to do that, so you ignored her advice, even though technically that would have been the best thing to do]

You think about going to Pearl, but you know she'll probably say the same thing as Connie- So, you go to Garnet, because she can see the future

Expect, Garnet tells you that the best thing to do is let him come to you and you groan, which causes Garnet to laugh

Garnet knows you're not going to take her advice, but maybe Steven needs someone to care enough about him to pull him back into reality

You try talking to Steven's dad, but that doesn't go well either. Steven's father is so out of touch with his son. You should of known better- Even though Mr. Universe is a good dad in his love, he's never there. You supposed it was complicated.

So, you go to the last choice- The one you were trying to avoid

A/N ; bro no one is writing for steven universe and i badly need smth😭

Steven was talking to garnet, on the couch while garnet was petting cat steven. It was 2AM, both of them were waiting for you, Steven sighed as he heard the door opening. Garnet was looking at you already, Steven turned around as he saw you… he looked shocked, You were in baggy jeans, a long sleeves and crop-top but you stole his jacket before you went out, which both of them were sleeping or gone.. You were slowly taking off your sneakers, getting the silent house uncomfortable really so you tried to distract yourself and kept into your head really until Steven spoke up.

“Soo.. Where were you?”

You looked at Steven confused before smiling.

“You know how sadie is Back into town for her tour with the sadie spects? They asked me to go shopping with them and of course i said yes!”

Garnet looked away from steven to look at you, smiling as she already knew that. She just wanted to make sure you were alright, Cat Steven jumped down from Garnet’s lap and ran to you. Quickly starting to purr and rub against your leg, you bent down and pet her gently as to pick her up as well.. Steven was still looking at you, slightly jealous that you spent all your night talking to them instead of him. Why didn’t they invite him though? That’s- weird, he was the one who introduced everyone to you when you first moved in which was probably when.. he still didn’t know his own powers, those times made him shiver sometimes.

“Were you safe?”

“Why wouldn’t I? We have nothing to fear anymore so I just have been relaxing. Why aren’t you in bed Steven? You planned to propose to connie to tomorrow or is it today since… it’s 2AM??”

“Well, i wanted to wait for-.. my best.. friend.”

“As you are already here (N/N) {Nickname}, I should get going as I have some stuff to do.”

You smiled and waved bye to garnet as you saw her disappear into her room. You turned to steven and walked over to him, gently putting cat Steven in his lap and watched cat steven purr softly and get comfortable on steven’s lap. You giggled as the thought of cat steven and human steven being alike, you walked back and walked to the hallway of the bathroom saying..

“Alright! You should prepare for bed Steven! Ima take a shower!”

Well sorta yelled that out, Steven watched you leave him with this cat steven… He sighed softly, fully forgetting that he told the gems and you that he liked connie, when he was mildly obsessed with you… well he wasn’t always, half way through his past he got obsessed. Can you guess how? Well, really. he got obsessed with you because you almost died by the hands of the diamonds. You're human.. not like him, not like the gems where you can poof but come back better and new, not like him where he can magically heal himself if he got hurt. but at that point, he didn't even realize it was obsessive, he just thought it was friendly love untillll….

He got rejected by Connie which was a few weeks ago, It was bad enough he had to deal with humiliation but she literally pointed out that she thought he liked you. That made him shocked, as you and him well before had nothing in common, he and you only saw each other as friends until Connie pointed out how he looked at you after everything with the diamonds, she pointed out how he looked at you with so much admiration, so much love in his eyes. Connie found it adoring, cute, sweet. She wasn’t even mad.. Which got Steven absolutely confused. If He saw connie being like- oh. He slowly started to realize that he does and did do that.. how dumb is he that he didn’t notice himself? It got awkward quick..

It was already morning as he got the sleep he needed and so did you. Steven was happily okay with you sleeping on the bed as you two got older, he didn’t find it weird that you guys had to share a bed when you two grew up, which until you told him if it was okay if you slept on the couch and not with him and not near him? That absolutely made him feel like shit, he didn’t know that at time either really. You slowly got up and looked at Steven, confused.

“Steven.. why do you have brea—”

Before you could finish your sentence the gems were already coming up, you sighed softly as you ate the breakfast sandwich Steven made as he talked with the gems. You were too tired to say anything so when you got up, you realized they were already downstairs. You softly shook your head as you started to get dress already, you went down to see them talking.. it was nice seeing it. You liked seeing them all talk, happily.. it felt refreshing, You walked to the bathroom and opened the door to start your routine. You walked out to see Steven get piled in snow, you giggled as you started to get something to drink.

“You know what we haven’t played in awhile..?”

Amethyst said as she looked at steven, before slowly getting up and then. Turning into young steven, which made you look shock as you started to laugh, hard.

“STEVEN TAG!”

Steven looked tired before looking at you, his eyes looked a bit shocked before they softened of all of his tiredness, suddenly gone just by hearing your pretty laugh. Before he knew it, he kept dodging Amethyst from tagging him. He kept complaining until he ran into the bathroom, quickly rolling a towel up and putting it in the gap of the door, he sat on it until he heard your far away laughter fading away and amethyst footsteps walking away. He slowly started to put the towel back and open the door, he walked out as garnet was looking around.

“Steven.”

“Yea Garnet?”

“Have you seen Cat Steven, I have been looking all over for her. Can you look for her in the cabinets?”

Steven nodded as he walked to the cabinets, about to ask this one before he dodged amethyst’s trying to tag him. He gasped a bit as he dodged it, looking at her going into garnet and tagging garnet instead but also making you fall down since garnet almost knocked you down. You laughed it off as it didnt even hurt, being trained witn Connie and pearl, you could deal with a lot of things whicn always made steven admire you from afar. Speaking of Steven, he looked shocked before running to you.

“Are you okay?!”

He said as he kneel down and checked you. You chuckled softly as your laughter died down, you nodded before steven dodged both of them and ran to the warpad. Running into pearl..

It's just that everything he does, he does to show you that he loves you, so when you resist him, when you pull away from his affection, it hurts his feelings, and he is so tender-hearted, you know? Rejection doesn't just sting, it burns. He can be prone to reacting before he can stop himself, sometimes putting up walls so you can't back away, sometimes even going so far as to forcibly fuse with you so you can't escape him.

As he gets older and his human half grows, his Diamond half grows with it, wanting him to be as big as his mother once was. It feels a bit disturbing to you.

To counter the grief of Pink, Blue gives you all sorts of suffocating affection.

She wants her human to feel loved and cared for.

Just as Pink would've wanted.

It also makes you cry by force due to her power.

You help her with her emotions which is a good thing as you feel overwhelmed by her crying at times.

She never means to use her power against you and feels horrible that she's making you cry.

They do not share her care towards you.

Blue never lets you out of her sight as she is scared the other Diamonds will see you.

Blue really wants to overcome the differences between you and tries to understand you.

She watches you express being homesick and tries to comfort you by rubbing your back with her finger.

She whispers that she'll try to make Homeworld feel like home to you too.

She watches your 'tantrums' whenever you feel upset or angered at your situation.

She then expresses patience towards you and allows you to wear yourself out.

Blue feels by watching and understanding your emotions as you do with her will bring you two together.

Blue likes a human who expresses empathy and sympathy.

Those are traits she tries to share with her human in an attempt to care for you better.

Soon Blue tries to see you as more than a cute pet once she has you to herself for awhile.

This is usually towards the start of Era 3 and sometime during future.

This is when Blue finally begins to see you as a person.

While her affection now feels a little less degrading... there's a different annoyance to it now.

Blue now decides it would be better to mom her human while she gets better at understanding others thanks to Steven.

Now you instead have Blue caring for you like a child.

For example she picks out clothes, makes sure you're clean, gives food, etc....

She finally tries to talk with you on an equal level which is an improvement

Blue is most excited about the fact she no longer needs to hide you from the other Diamonds.

She also feels it would be right to have you visit Earth once Era 3 starts.

When you do meet Steven you thank him endlessly.

Steven is confused until you tell him what you went through.

Your abduction, being treated like a pet, etc....

Steven is surprised at this and offers to mediate the strange relationship between you.

He really does like helping people and you are an odd case.

When Blue hears the news she's hesitant.

She's scared Steven will take you away from her and she's been through so much with you.

Steven assures her that he may not have to when he meets with you.

He just wants to teach her how to adore you a safer way.

This can end a few ways.

You both go back to Homeworld and the connection between you gets better...

The talk doesn't work and she continues to degrade you with her overwhelming affection...

Or Steven tries to keep you on Earth for a break and Blue loses her mind.

It's going to take some time in order for Steven to 'heal' the two of you.

He's got his work cut out for him, especially when Blue starts to cry at the idea of losing her human despite how she treated you.

Blue Diamond has grown attached to you and is still getting used to the world changing around her...

However, since she does truly adore you, she'll try to change for the better to make the both of you happy.

I never wanted this.

It was cold, unbearably cold as your vision slowly became blurry. You couldn't feel a single thing, your fingers twitched and your eyes struggled to stay awake but it was sweet. Everything around you felt so calm and as if something heavy was lifted from your shoulders, it was like you could finally breathe for the first time but was it so loud?

He had been too rough with you, he had finally snapped and now he was holding your body in his arms, your eyes struggling to look up into his diamond shaped ones as he sobbed and screamed out your name. All he was doing was making sure you learnt your lesson. He didn't actually think he was being too rough, but the stab wound in your stomach proved otherwise.

" Come on y/n, wake up for me, okay? You're okay and I'm right here! See, I'll fix this I promise. "

Steven sobbed out your name as he pulled the blade from your stomach, the blood soaked your shirt even further, slowly pooling around you. The smell was horrific and Steven couldn't even look at himself, all this blood was on him and it was all his fault.

It felt so wonderful being able to finally break free from his grasp, to finally end all your suffering and to specifically get away from him once and for all. You then finally let go and your body went limp in his arms, your eyes finally voided of any life watched blankly at Steven.

" No, no- Shit, NO! "

Steven cried out, his body glowing pink as he held your head close to his chest. He'll just revive you, yeah that's all! He'll just revive you and everything will be okay. You'll just be pink and have pink hair and basically have a slower life span and live longer that's almost immortal right? That means you can still be with him, right? Stevens tears rolled from his cheeks and onto your skin where it was almost instantly absorbed.

Steven held you to his chest, anticipating your resurrection.

It was calm and bright as if your body was just floating around in an endless void of your happiest memories and then there was a flash of pink.

Pink roses filled your vision with soft petals that caressed your face and you found yourself in tall swaying grass, everything was pink and you felt sick almost instantly, you were dressed in pink attire, the grass swaying against your body against a warm breeze that never seemed to calm. You were terrified, there was no way he could be keeping you alive using his magic but he was a diamond and-

Didn't he revive one of his friends, what was his name? It was Lars wasn't it? That guy who now has a team of gems and lost his only good chance with a girl that actually loved him? Didn't Steven revive him? Oh shit - your breathing began to quicken, your arms wrapped around yourself and you could feel your tears begin to swell up, there was just no escaping him was there?

" It's lovely to finally meet you, y/n "

You were startled and looked up to see Steven but he was pink.. You had seen Steven pink, Steven become 9 ft and still pink but this was different. This wasn't Steven and you knew it, this Steven was more confident and it practically radiated from him.

" I'm sorry we have to meet each other under these circumstances but you understand that you can't get away from us not even in death. "

He moved towards you, you moved back and by a snap of his fingers you stopped and walked towards him. You struggled and cried out as his magic brought you closer to him.

" Oh my lovely starlight, you are as beautiful as the day we first laid our eyes on you. "

He put his hand on the small of your back and held your hand in his. His magic kept you in place and all you could do was watch in fear as he danced away with you in the field. His eyes never left yours, he was humming a soft tune as pink petals fluttered around the two of you and you were filled with dread at the sight of them and you finally broke down, the tears streaming down your face and your whole body wracked as you finally gave up.

Steven held you close, lowering you to the ground and wrapping his arms around your body.

" Shh starlight, it will be okay. You will learn to love us and love this. "

He whispered gently into your ear, rubbing soothing circles on your back while you sobbed. Your body hurt, your heart was being torn to shreds and your mind was fuzzy and lost.

This isn't what you wanted, you never wanted this and you never wanted him! Him and his stupid gem, him and his stupid mom and how he manipulated you into being with him in the first place. It was too much, taking care of him was too much and leaving him was never even an option.

In a flash of white you were torn from the field and from that Steven while he waved to you lazily with a smug smile on his stupid face and you were brought back to your current situation. Your eyes slowly opened as you were greeted to the old room you were trapped in.

He would be physicly and emotionaly incapable of leting you go even in his sleep he would hold you tight ageinst himself like a stress ball he would squeez you and hold you tight. If you ever maneged to somehow escape his grasp he would have a panic attack and probebly tear entire citys to pices trying to look for you.

Steven couldn’t help himself, first it was Connie who starts to drift away from him, then the gems, and now you? he can’t deny he would be crazy if you too start to drift away from him.

you’re his EVERYTHING. His world, his love, his absolute every feelings of him. He can’t lose you aswell, just the thought of somebody having you made him awake everynight.

he couldn’t get any proper sleep at the thought of you leaving him. So he thought, what if he just convince you to stay here with him? to grow together. That way you won’t leave him, he’ll tell you how much you mean to him, that he would die for you to stay.

you’re hanging out with Steven, you could saw Garnet looking very uncomfortable when she saw you and him. You felt a little weirded out and decided to ask her what was wrong. “hey, Steven? i have to talk to Garnet for awhi-“ Steven’s voice interrupted yours before you could even finished the sentence. “NO!” his whole body starts to turn pink again and you were shocked. “NO.. way! what i mean is, you cAN talk to Garnet..!”

Steven smiled it off and put a thumb up while he starts to calm down. You were very worried about him, but just once you turn around—you couldn’t find Garnet. “huh, thats weird..”

at the end of the day, you went home. But something felt off, you feel like a pair of eyes were watching you from behind the shadows. You couldn’t exactly pinpoint where but it felt like everywhere.

you grew nervous at the feeling and starts to sped up towards your house, that is until you saw a.. gem? they look weird.. they had these weird marks on it. You don’t know anything until it starts to attack you.

you couldn’t even scream and closed your eyes shut while your arms covering your face. You didn’t feel any impact, slowly opening up your eyes you didn’t see the gem.. only shards of a.. SHARDS OF THE GEM.

you panicked, they got shattered but by who? trying to contain your cry, you brought back the shards back to the temple. You ran as fast as you could only to find Steven running towards the temple and still have the door half open.

“S-Steven!! you.. what were you doing..” starting to realize what was happening, you put the pieces together. A pair of eyes watching you, Garnet’s weird behavior towards him, and how easily shattered the gem could get. Only him that could shatter a gem that easy.

you start to take a step back, Steven only froze there and starts to leap up and landed on his knees infront of you. You didn’t know how to react, you dropped down the shards and put your hands to your mouth while tears flowing from your eyes.

“__… please, don’t ever leave me… i- im sorry.” he practically begged you, you stood still and he was still clinging onto your legs. Not giving you a chance to get away from his grasp.

“i could make this work! i can- i can save that gem.. i can save you, i can save us! just please, ‘it’ attacked you, i HAVE to protect you.” it is the first time you’ve seen this side of him.

so.. cracked, so vulnerable. He used to looked so strong, so happy, so perfect. But now, he’s broken. He want you, he NEEDS you. And you certainly need him, you couldn’t live without him.

you thought for a moment before kneeling down and hugged him, he was happy. He smiled and look at you, you could only smile tiredly before questioning yourself on this decision.

he just shattered someone, he just broke the swear he would never break. He swore that he would never shatter anyone, under any circumstances. But the gem attacked you, if they didn’t get shattered immediately you would get killed. But.. that doesn’t matter would it? the past is already the past he told you.

so you just let it go, you broke the hug and looked at the shards. Steven looks at it with an emotionless face and put it inside a bubble before sending it to his.. secret base.

he turned around at you with a frown on his face before holding your hands. “hey.. its going to be okay. Just promise me, to NEVER leave me.. you NEED me ___… i am your knight, you don’t need anyone you only need me. I have everything you could ever asked for. I will stay with you until your dying breath, i can protect you. So please, don’t ever leave me, okay?” you convinced yourself even more that you’re only a mere human, and he is a half gem.

he is strong, he is everything you could ever asked for. He is perfect, and he is yours. You couldn’t pass on that opportunity so you pledged yourself to never leave his side, and that he is your everything.

it was working he thought, just a little convincing got you wrapped around his finger. Now he just need to protect you, you will be the damsel in distress and he will be the knight who’ll always save you. And even if Garnet or any other gems tried to get in the way of the two of you, he could just put them in a bubble— or worse, shatter them.

he has the power of a diamond after all, that means he is much stronger than any of the gems.

I feel like with jasper it would be worse to be caught trying to escape than it would be to get caught after escaping.

I think you’re onto something. She’s so terribly pent up and just itching for a proper thrill - you giving her a good chase? Impressive, for an organic. It’s still an annoyance for her to track you down (and track you down she will, there is no question here) but at least she got to use some of that quartz strength. You’ll still be punished, of course, but credit where credit is due.

If she catches you during an attempt, she’ll have you by the scruff of your neck like an unruly kitten - full of disgust at your pathetic little stint. It’s just another piece of evidence that you are truly, utterly weak and beneath her - why you can’t see that for yourself and just give in is a mystery to her. You should be honored that she doesn’t outright paint the floor red with your guts, that you’re the only earthling that gets to be close to her.

Maybe she should make those little hands of yours crack to show you just how weak you are.

[Yandere Malachite x GN Human Reader]

Decided to boost my productivity a little and write a little before writer's block hits me like a truck [🥲]

[⚠️ Warnings inculde : Sadistic and violent behavior , emotional abuse and unhealthy behaviour towards a partner ⚠️]

You were washed up and stranfed on Mask Island , trying to to force yourcelf to drag yourself further from the shore so you could finally stand , coughing up sea water along the way , that was when Malachite's eyes first landed on you . Her bright green irises focused on your weakened and soaked form .

Usually , Malachite wouldn't turn from the thought of violence . Having caused a lot of destruction and shattering a lot of gems in quite a gruesome way in the past , making them broken "beyond repair" . However , as Malachite looked at you for the first time , she felt something soften inside them . You were so helpless , so scared ... and completely alone . Since her isolation had driven her to her limits , with her only company being the voices of Jasper amd Lapis inside her , she decided to keep you .

So when your small and frail body finally gave up from the exhaustion , Malachite gently scooped you up in her arms in order to more closely inspect your unconscious from . She fingertips softly caressed you , and for a brief moment they thought 'How easy it would be ... To snap their little spine in half . They wouldn't even feel it ... Such a weak little thing ...' However , she decided against it in the last moment and instead placed you in a small cave and left you there to rest .

Not to say that in generall , Malachite doesn't like reminding you of how much stronger she is than you . How easily they could hurt you . If there is something that Malachite enjoys more in the world , it's having you be dependent to her like a small pet of some kind .

However , despite all her sadistic tendencies Malachite would actually be a really caring lover . When it came to handling you , she would always make sure to be as soft as she could with you . Cupping her arms around you gently to keep you safe .

Small Scenario :

"Oh you silly little human ... What were you thinking ?" Malachite's voice boomed "So small , so weak ... Utterly defenseless against me . Yet you still thought you could escape ?" She continued , her voiced laced with a layer of bitterness . You tried to mutter an apology , shaking in fear at this point but then Malachite picked you up so that you could be on eye level with her . You started shaking more and repeatedly apologised , promising to never do that again and watching as Malachite's smile grew larger , revealing her sharp teeth . "That's a good little human ..." Malachite said , patting you head with the tip of her index finger as you flinched against her touch . "Don't ever attempt to escape again ..." She said in a satisfied tone .
