Babysitter AU - Demon Slayer

Your family and the Kamado family have known each other for generations, helping one another, so it was only natural when Tanjuro died you went up to help them. You know Taniro and Nezko can help their mother with everything but it did feel right to do that to them at such a young age, they didn’t deserve to have that hardship of losing their father and having their childhood ripped away.

You talk with your parents and Kie Kamabo about the matter, they agree with you and make a plan of how you could help, when you would come back to visit. It ended up you would help them during the week and come home on the weekends to help your family.

This is how you lived for a couple of years until one day Taniro and you came back from selling coal in town. The dreadful day where Tanjiro and Nezko lost everything and all of your worlds flipped upside down.

After all of these years of taking care of them, how could you just leave them behind, they would never abandon you.

The Kamado Clan

There isn't even much information on them except for Tanjiro and Nezuko. 

Hmm, as all of them know Tanjuro doesn't have much time left, I can see him being super over-protective and just teaching Tanjiro all that's to be done. 

Like how to make you stay still, how to make you behave, all that stuff.  

Rokuta, Hanako, and Shigeru are probably gonna be super clingy. Not saying the others won't but these ones would be SUPER clingy. 

Takeo would probably have been clingy if it weren't for his Tsundere self. 

Tanjiro as being the oldest of siblings knows they can be over-bearing and he, of course, does smell it when you feel too overwhelmed with their presence so he would ask Nezuko to distract them or give them chores to do while he lets you rest.

Kei is known to be very caring. When Tanjuro was alive, you would have had more freedom because when you had met them you weren't that strong. I mean you could escape them but they could very easily drag you back. 

And with Tanjuro it was more easier. Yes, he's sick but he can drag you back whenever it's needed.

Then when Tanjuro died Kei became more protective over you. Don't get it wrong, she does care about her other kids but knowing that they are keeping you with them against your will she just dotes a little more. Tho, the others have no problem with it. In fact, they encourage it. 

Tanjuro would probably deem punishment as necessary if you are acting out of line. I feel like he would just knock you out and then when you wake up it's in a small space. Very small. It can barely even fit you. 

And honestly, demon or not getting suffocated is not a nice feeling. He would probably let you stay there for 2 days. Initially, he wanted it to be at least 5 days but Kei and Nezuko managed to negotiate with him.

The more sick Tanjuro gets the more anxious and paranoid the rest of the family including Tanjuro get. Even tho their kids have no idea as to why they are so anxious, they know it's something not good.

Tanjuro and Kei are worried that when he does die, there's a high chance Muzan would take you back. Not like he can't currently. 

And well, in his last days he probably gathers everyone and they all just stay together including you. 

Now moving on to Tanjiro. 

Of course, this boy will be overprotective. And don't be surprised when he does manage to stop you from escaping every time. He was personally trained on this subject by Tanjuro.😤

And the fact he can use sun breathing. You are doomed. Tho, he would absolutely try not to resolve to violent methods but we all know, everyone has their limit. 

Okay, cut that line out. Tanjiro will be super patient with you. SUPER. And he does not trust any hashiras with you except for Giyuu and Gyomei. 

And they both are hashiras so they are pretty busy. And that means you will be going on missions with them! 

As we all know, Tanjiro slays demons so you would be rarely going out in the daytime. 

But whenever you go with them on missions, they don't even get to kill the demon. Either the demon goes running off after seeing you or they try and capture you. Some even go and snitch to muzan. :'(

So taking you with them isn't a very good idea. And that is why, you are mostly left in the care of the Ubuyashiki's! 

No, I am not gonna be adding the ubuyashiki clan into this. Nuh-uh, that's for another day, another me. 

Anyways, Tanjiro is super caring and doting. Nezuko is too but poor baby can't express it properly without panicking. She also can't ask you questions because of her muzzle.

But she does take it off time-to-time to talk to you, but her speaking is really, I don't know how to describe it, lol. But it's baby like. I mean she rarely speaks so ye.

Tanjiro would probably be against punishments. Nezuko too would be against it. He would also rather not scold you. So, you can imagine yourself getting gently scolded by the Ubuyashiki's. 

Tho, don't take this for granted. If he and Nezuko see you getting yourself in danger on purpose you would probably be locked in a room with darkness 24/7. I don't know for how long tho, it does on how bad you get yourself hurt. If you do happen to get hurt real bad, you are staying in that room forever. 

Nezukoooo. She is a badass as all we know. And yes, she did go after you in her final form but that was to shield you. She sees you as her younger sibling and definitely wants to protect you. 

I can see Tanjiro forcing you to become smaller and he fits you in the box with nezuko. And Nezuko is immediately grasping your hand and cuddling with you. Nothing can stop that from happening. 

She doesn't properly know how to show affection in this AU, so she would always gently headbutt you to show affection. Every time she sees you. And you would also gently headbutt her as a way to show you received her affection. 

Would they be controlling? Not at all. Just don't get yourself hurt. 

But boy if someone does manage to hurt you, I'm praying for their health. Nezuko probably won't know you are hurt unless Tanjiro or someone else tells her or she sees it with her own eyes. Otherwise, she would find out by smelling your blood. And that's when shit goes down. 

They got both of them angry. The SUN BREATHING USER AND THE DEMON WHO CONQUERED THE SUN!! YOU BETTER RUN. 

But that's all I can think about this. If I think something else of it part 2 of it will come. Which it probably will.

Chokehold? That's also something Uzui would do. I just feel like that he's the type of guy who'd pick you or drag you by the scruff of your neck as if he's pulling back a kitten rather than an actual person.

And you can't even do anything to escape it. His grip is unrelenting and he has this half fake smile on his face as he drags you back to bed between his wives and you know he's kinda pissed at you for even thinking about escaping them, but he's also in love with you and how small you are and how he could just crush you with a flick of the wrist but he won't because he loves you💞

And he'll just tuck your head under his chin and trap your legs with his, whispering small threats about how he'd make sure you won't be able to sit for the rest of the month if you don't stop your whimpering and settle down right now, one hand patting your bum as if to soothe you while the other played with your lips.

Somehow, you were finally falling asleep in the monster's arms but your eyes snapped open when you felt two fingers shoved into your mouth, pressing down on your tongue to suppress your yelp. You stared at the retired Hashira, your eyes wide with fear while his was filled with lust.

What if tanjiro founds out of what happened to (y/n) feet?

Uzui would most likely make up some excuse about how it was necessary because you were endangering yourself. And while Tanjiro would never agree on even hurting a hair on your head, when he sees how docile you've become, no longer trying to wander off into the woods or out of their sights alone, he starts to... understand why Uzui did that. Maybe even is lowkey thankful because he didn't had to raise a hand against you, and he never will. Not when you're so deathly afraid of Uzui, the mere threat of sending you back to him has you trembling and apologising for your behaviour.

Because reader has escaped or gotten hurt in one way or another when she was under the care of other slayers, so Tanjiro is definitely glad that Uzui managed to tame you. Hell you don't even go to bathroom alone anymore, even when Tanjiro gives you permission, you always wait for either him or Nezuko stand outside the bathroom while you do your business.

Although Tanjirou can't help but feel like there's more to what Uzui has done to make you so.... passive. It eats him up, and something tells him that there's more to what Uzui did to you that he's not telling. But whenever he asks you, you turn unnervingly quiet and Tanjiro just brushes away the odd behaviour.

He has to, for his own sanity and for the safety of those around him.

Even Nezuko feels like something is off about you. You've changed... become more fearful. It's like some part of you was lost forever, like it never left the Tengen's house. And Tanjiro sees the way Nezuko growls at Uzui, or the way you are always lost in your thoughts, a thousand yard stard as if you're reliving the past.

What if you ran away from Uzui and his wives in the middle of the night? Would it work?

Definitely not, getting away from between them without waking them up is a whole feat, which you've failed at 9/10 times. The 1 time that you did get out of the bed, you weren't able to make it further than the bathroom before you heard Suma's loud wail, followed by strong, muscular arms wrapping around you from behind. You were carried back to bed, practically thrown on it by Uzui as the wives started fretting over you, quick to trap you in their arms as they cooed over how their precious baby got lost.

Of course, Uzui, wanting to be the strict (but a huge softie on the inside) father asked you why did you leave the bed. When you managed to lie that you had to pee, he wasn't entirely convinced but decided to let it go, in favour of Hinatsuru taking your hand and dragging you to the toilet herself, sternly telling you that you should wake them up next time. Why, you ask? "You could've gotten hurt." She said. By what? The flush?

But let's say that by some miracle, you did manage to get out of the house. But you're only running for 15 minutes into the woods when you hear something move. And with all the training Uzui makes you go through, you already know its him who's chasing you.

You're tackled to the ground and have to face the furious look on his face.

"How could you?" He asked. Before you could reply he threw you over his shoulder and carried you back to the house, his hold turning painfully tight when you tried to wiggle.

His wives were all looking worried when he brought you back, but they didn't dare move to console you when they caught the livid look on his face. The wives stayed behind as Uzui took you tobtge basement and tied you up.They felt sorry for you as they heard you sniffling and begging for forgiveness, flinching when you began screaming when Uzui started whipping your feet with a bamboo cane.

The flogging didn't stop until you feet were bleeding and all blistered up, and only after Uzui came up with you trembling in his arms. They took you from him and to the bathroom, where they girls cleaned you up and your whipped feet carefully. They knew you were not gonna able to stand on your feet for a month or two.

After wrapping your feet in bandages and herbal ointments, they carried you back to bed, right in between them. They were whispering soft nothings in your ear, and when you flinched when Uzui tried to pat your hair, he sighed. He didn't want you to be afraid of him, but he did not regret punishing you. He will admonish you, thrash you, break you down and build you up over and over again until you realise you're a part of his family.

You're his daughter, whether you like it or not. And he's not gonna tolerate you breaking his rules to endanger yourself.

God only knows what he'll do when you actually hurt yourself.

Hold on , if muzan was pregnant , then how the fuck would baby Y/N was adopted by the Kamado family?

Since a lot of you liked the "Muzan being preggers with reader" idea so much, that's gonna be the official route we're taking.

So, after Muzan gave birth to you, he was then encountered by our bad boy Yoriichi Tsugikuni, the demon slayer who makes Muzan tremble in his boots now and gave him ptsd.

Anyways, after Yoriichi beat the shit out of him, Muzan was forced to leave you behind to save himself. Yoriichi then found you lying in a blanket, and he instantly knew you were Muzan's child. He was about to kill you, but the more he looked at you, the more... hesitant he became. Perhaps it was because of how pure and innocent you looked, the prettiest baby he'd ever seen, or maybe it was because you were a half demon and had some sort of power that made everyone around you a yandere.

So, Yorrichi chooses not to kill you and takes you back to his home. He tried raising you, but soon found it both difficult and dangerous because of his line of work at the Demon Slayer corps. That's when Yoriichi decides to give you to Tanjuro Kamado, and that's how you ended up in the Kamado Clan.

Of course, Yoriichi made sure to tell Tanjuro that you were a demon hybrid, but Tanjuro and his wife had already taken a liking to you and had no thoughts of ever giving you away.

Since you were a half demon, you were obviously different from other kids. You aged at way slower pace, and like demons, you couldn't stay in the sun without withering away. So, Yoriichi had the bright idea to feed and inject you with small quantities of blue spider lilies, so that you could gain immunity against the sun. Which is why, Muzan was alarmed when he finally found you and you smelled like blue lilies all the time.

For the few years Yoriichi tried raising you on his own, he felt warm and... complete. Losing his wife and unborn child, you were really the perfect piece in his life. And since you were a demon hybrid, he was required to pay special attention to you. And he loved to dote on you. Quiet as he was, he was a huge worry wort when it came to you. For real, there's a couple of wrinkles on his forehead because of you. You were super fast and strong as a demon hybrid, which is why Yorrichi and the Kamado Clan often mixed heavy sleep inducing herbs to suppress your demon abilities and knock you out.

Even after giving you away to Kamado Clan, Yoriichi made sure to drop in to check on you whenever he could, usually after missions. He missed you a lot, and you were the last thing on his mind before he died.

Okay, I'm really curious about the story behind Muzan getting himself pregnent with y/n. I would like to hear more about it if that's possible. At least what his intial thoughts were when he found out about his pregnancy and how he lost his child (because your first post said he abandond her). Was he upset right away when he lost her or not until later?

His initial thought was "damn, this is gonna put a stop on my plans for world domination" but then he got curious about what his offspring would look like, what powers they would have and so, he decided to keep it.

Then the whole time he was preggers, the hormones did their magic and he sloy started to become attached to you, but there was still the idea of killing you on birth if you didn't turn out how he wanted you to be.

When time came to birth you, some of you would think that he went down the traditional route by turning into his female form and gave a natural birth. But I think that he performed a c section on himself (with his own hands and nails for instruments), pulled you out, and he knew in that very moment that he was never going to let you go. Of course, after healing instantly because of his demon powers, he was fueled up with both maternal and parental instincts, cooing at how adorable you looked in his clothes.

He probably only had you for only a month until he was attacked by Yoriichi and for more than a decade, he regretted leaving you behind to flee. Muzan never stopped looking for you, and even though over time a voice in his head kept repeating that Yoriichi had killed you all those years ago, he never lost hope. You were a part of him, his single most perfect creation and Yoriichi taking you away from him was the most devastating, heart wrenching thing he'd ever experienced.

Suffice to say, when Muzan was reunited with you, he was well in his rights to never let you leave his sight.

How would Muzan punish Y/N if she purposely disobeyed him ?

No punishments. The worst he'll probably do is not talk to you, and forbid other demons from talking to you as well. Not even Uncle Kokushibou, who is the biggest softie for you, will talk to you (Although he might signal that you need to make up with Muzan).

Muzan locks you away often, but it's not a punishment in his mind. It's actually a safety measure. Besides, he brings you all the stuff you'd need and let's you out often (unlike the Kamado Clan who had no qualms about keeping you locked away for months).

Disobeying Muzan upsets him more than it angers him. Why can't you see that he cannot lose you again? He cannot risk you being taken away? And he'd much rather pull his own heart out than see you in pain again.
