Underfell AU Sans romantic concept please?

Sure! I tried to keep him as close to canon as possible while also putting in some of my HCs. He's actually really fun to write :) I hope you like my take... sorry if you don't. There's a gap in the middle due to Tumblr's formatting.

Yandere! Underfell! Sans Concept

Pairing: Romantic/Platonic

Possible Trigger Warnings: Gender-Neutral Darling, Obsession, Violence, Overprotective behavior, Violence, Anxiety, I wanted to make him more possessive (I might in the future but I never thought of it until now), Denial, Kidnapping, Mentioned possible mind break/Murder, Isolation, Stalking, Some jealousy mentioned near the end, Some manipulation, Forced companion/relationship.

I feel Fell! Sans has the possibility of being a terrifying yandere.

He's one of the strongest monsters in the AU and his powers tend to fluctuate due to his emotions.

He's also incredibly stressed all the time from what I've read.

Fell! Sans cares for his brother, they both care for each other actually.

They both want to portray themselves as cool to one another and others.

Fell! Sans is still lazy but also sarcastic.

I know Fell! Papyrus doesn't enjoy killing humans but does it for "sport" to help the guilt, he also does it due to being part of the Royal Guard to protect Sans from Asgore.

However I'm unsure how Sans feels about killing humans according to canon.

I'd assume he'd be indifferent but supports it as it's the law of the land and the job Papyrus is given.

Sans’ obsession was meant to be kept vague however I feel with a human it feels more natural to me?

Maybe you take the role of Frisk or simply aid them.

Either way I'm defaulting Darling to human.

Of course, naturally as the world goes, you end up having to defend yourself against Sans and Papyrus.

Primarily against Papyrus as Sans probably doesn't bother fighting.

Although… you can tell there's some strength there.

Due to what I've read, he radiates power due to his stress.

It's supposedly seen in his jacket at times.

So you have an idea that Sans could easily kill, but are thankful he just chooses not to.

Fell! Sans certainly has an obvious edge in appearance and personality. 

He's very sarcastic with you but in a way you can tell he means well when you befriend him and his brother.

In fact when he forms an attachment he may even show some anxiety about you meeting the other monsters.

You are aware of how easily you could just… die, right?

Even with a flower to guide you, he hopes you can defend yourself and not just talk things out.

Although he is thankful you managed to appeal to his brother enough to spare him.

He definitely tries to act calm in general, especially around you, although there's times he slips.

I imagine Fell! Sans fidgets due to… well… the sheer amount of stress he's under.

Really, who isn't in the Underground?

With Asgore in charge there's strict rules.

Rules that could easily end you as a human.

Sans tries to tell himself to not get attached to you.

He'd be in denial about his obsession.

It's all because he's scared to lose you.

Part of him wants to protect you, yet the other part suggests just letting you go.

The ideas he has tears him apart internally, which Papyrus can definitely tell.

Sans keeps fidgeting and his powers keep fluctuating when he thinks about how he can lose you.

Fanon tends to depict Sans as overly sadistic, while I agree he has aggressive tendencies like everyone in this AU, I don't think he's over the top.

I feel Fell! Sans is more like an anxious and stressed mess more than anything.

Which for him can make him volatile as his powers can be controlled, but are emotion based.

His pent up emotions no doubt drives his obsession.

While Papyrus protects Sans from Asgore, Sans feels like he has to protect you from not only Asgore… but everyone not him or his brother.

While you continue your journey, Sans isn't far behind.

He still has similar powers to his classic counterpart, which means teleportation.

Every area you enter, he's somewhere there.

I never mentioned this in the original draft but I do feel Sans would get possessive/jealous.

It's just not mentioned much in this concept since he's more consumed by anxiety than anything.

But in a way he does feel you two belong together, one way or another.

He would definitely murder, but he has to hold himself back due to his powers.

Which, yes, I assume would mean if he's jealous or enraged enough with you talking to others... his powers may flare.

Papyrus is against this but this human clearly means a lot to Sans.

Admittedly… Papyrus would miss you if you died too.

So he understands where Sans is coming from, it mirrors the care Papyrus has for Sans.

But Sans seems more… intense?

Sans could just feel something akin to close friendship or something more.

Honestly, if a monster nearly killed you, he'd probably snap and use his powers.

Which is why he prefers to just… stick around you everywhere.

Admittedly Sans likes it when you laugh.

He tries not to show it but you mean a lot to him.

The reason he tries to hide it as it shows vulnerability.

But you seem to enjoy his Knock Knock jokes and his company….

You like it because he's more “friendly” than the others.

Honestly, that gives him a bit of pride while also striking vulnerability in him.

Sans really keeps trying to tell himself his obsession is a vulnerability.

He shouldn't be this attached to you.

Yet now he really can't just let you go.

As a result I imagine he'd prevent you from meeting Asgore.

Sure, okay, you may have befriended most of the monsters here…

But not him…

Please not him…

He'll kill you and Sans will snap.

Scared of this he gets more fidgety.

You can probably tell even though he acts collected, he has an aura that scares you.

Sans doesn't know how to explain to you he cares about you.

He just doesn't want to lose you.

So Sans may try to manipulate you into staying with him more to avoid Asgore.

Isn't staying in Snowdin better?

Well… Papyrus may want to see you again!

Y'know… it's futile to go against Asgore, right?

Just… stay with him.

If he has to, he'll use some of his power to lock you away in his home/room.

Look, you don't get it.

Asgore nearly killed Sans before… he could and will do the same to you!

It's behind closed doors that Sans’ facade breaks.

He pulls you closer and mumbles about his fears.

He plans to keep you right here… if you try to leave, he'll know.

At this point he'll kill any monster who tries to hurt you or even goes near you.

Sans curses himself for getting so attached to a human.

However, he's given in now.

He'll keep you away from all the danger.

He'll keep you to himself.

Even if it requires others, including him, to get hurt due to his powers and rage.

Fell Sans

Fell Sans is quite jealous. He comes from the underground, where it's kill or be killed, and you protected what you had with your life. Perhaps part of him is still trapped there.

There is only one of you in the whole world, which makes you a hot commodity

Oh! And the fact that he may or may not love you...

Fell would totally throw hands, except he is a total simp doesn't want to make you angry. For some reason that he can't wrap his head around, you "enjoy your friend's company," or something.

If you're being flirted with, he may smile (bare his sharp teeth) at your friend (the interloper), and, well, if they get scared and leave, how is that his fault?

Master of the subtle threatening glower

If another Sans flirts with you, he wouldn't even say anything, he'd just casually pop him one when you aren't looking. Eventually the other Sans' slowly just stop interacting with you, wary of another fist in the eyesocket.

If his brother Papyrus flirts with you, it would result in back and forth insults between the two of them, which escalates until Sans comes and stays at your house for a while. (Neither of you mind so much ;)

After that, Sans does his best to keep you away from Papyrus

His use of pet names and PDA is dialed up to ten whenever he's feeling a bit jealous. He wants everyone to know that you're very much together, that you like his ugly mug the best. He's proud of that fact.

He could dial back his jealousy, but you guys might have to invest in a punching bag and a therapist

He should actually be in therapy tbh

Anyway, if you want him to chill, just flick him in the side of his skull and he'd snap out of it. There is a number of unpleasant things he'd rather do before losing you, and he'd do them in a heartbeat.

Question for yandere house squad! What if MC gets super paranoid of people coming into their room and watching her sleep, so they knock on the skeleton's door asking if they could spend the night with them?

Sans - He’s honestly a bit taken aback and surprised. He would never have expected you to come to his room of your own free will. He lets you in but immediately goes back to his computer. He's there all night, not on purpose Sans just often forgets he needs sleep. On the plus side you get his giant bed all to yourself. 

Papyrus - He lets you into his room without any issues. Papyrus is very polite and a great host, although he still says some things that make you uncomfortable, he offers you his bed and he stays on the couch in his room. Which is fine until you wake up in the morning to him smiling at you. You have no idea how long he was watching you sleep. 

Red - He freezes for a second before slamming his door shut both of you standing outside it. He suggests that both of you sleep in your room instead, his is a mess and stinks of blood. Of course he also says something highly perverted and will defiantly get a bit handsy but you went to him so you were prepared for that. Well you thought he’d get handsy, Red is actually very nervous that you came to him and he doesn’t end up doing anything but sleeping. 

Edge - Steps aside and lets you into his room. He offers you a tea that will help you sleep, mainly because of the mild poisons it has in it. He gets how unnerving living in this house must be for someone like you and is a good host. 

Blue -He’s blushing, obviously as he goes a bright blue and begins to stumble over his words. His eyelights have shifted into literal hearts and you aren’t sure if you’ve just made a huge mistake or not. He practically drags you into his room and promises you’ll be safe in here, although maybe don’t look too closer around. 

Orange -Of course he lets you into his room, he even sheepishly apologizes for the state of it. He offers you the bed although he really wants to sleep on it with you he does say he can take the couch. He has to keep up the act that he’s not crazy or the main culprit who was watching you sleep. He was shortcutting into your room but now you're here and he wants you to stay in his room every night. 

Berry -Brags about how of course you’d come to him for help. It almost seems like he will turn you away before he surprises you by letting you in. He does make you sleep on the floor, unless of course you make him back down from that by showing him exactly who's in charge. 

Syrup -He’s not completely awake when you ask so he just grabs your wrist and drags you into his bed. He doesn’t realize what happened until the morning when he unceremoniously pushed you out of his death grip. He is really embarrassed about what he did.

Summary:

What is love, if not sharing in pain?

Sans thought they'd gotten their happy ending, as perfect as things could be. They were still in the underground, sure, but he had his friends, and things were slowly getting better.

He'd made the rookie mistake of still having hope.

And now that everything he knew was gone, all he was left with was that pain, and a single lingering question.

Woah, this is my first fic since tumblr fixed my blog. Make no mistake though, this fic is old. Really old. I've been working on it for at least three years old. There have been a lot of rewrites, but I couldn't give up on this. I love yanderes. I needed to see this through.

I do like the old versions, though, so I'll be posting the alternate versions I never finished. I'll need to add a bit more of what I was going to write, but those will likely remain as unedited as possible, because I wanna show how far I got before I decided it needed to be rewritten.

This fic definitely could've been revised more. Been rewritten more. But like. After 3 years? I think I've done enough to finally release this into the wild.

Timber: When his datemate proposes to him, he's not really sure what they're doing? Like, what the heck? They would have to explain to him what proposing means, and once they do, he accepts because he's very happy! He would like the ring, but he doesn't really wear it? He would just go to put it into his little secret area(it's the place where his forest is still not burnt and it's pretty there(I wrote about it before, I dunno if you know lol)

Pinks: Another one that doesn't get it at first. Oh, yeah, pretty ring! What's that mean? Once they explain it to him, he perks up then smiles and starts to explain how his kind get married. His rambling makes him almost forget that they're proposing... until he agrees, of course! He would pull them into the water and nuzzle their faces together, letting out happy hums. He is very happy that his mate wants to stay with him forever.

Yanberry: He would stare at the ring with wide sockets, his eyeshines disappearing. It might seem like he's upset, but then they come back and they're so bright! He hugs you, pressing 'kisses' against your cheeks. "Yes! Of course I'll marry you. Ahh, how did you get this without me noticing? You're so cute!" of course he would also try to figure out how you snuck out to buy the ring, but right now, he didn't care enough about it to question it! You're his marriage partner now, more than just his datemate... maybe he could even talk you into doing a soul binding?

Red: His first instinct would be to say no, then he realizes exactly what you're doing and quickly change his answer... then do it again. He's panicking until he asks. "Are you sure you want to marry me? I mean, fuck, that's a lot! I don't think I'd be all that good of a husband or whatever it's called." He rubs the side of his head, embarrassed. It's honestly pretty cute his reaction haha.

It's not "kidnapping", it's very persistent adoption. /s

Everyone knows that the underground is a dangerous place. You'll likely hear the old adage "it's kill or be killed" so much that you'll want to scream, but it's just the truth. Considering that you're a human, and the history that monsterkind has with humans, you're pretty unlucky to have ended up down here.

The universe must have taken some pity on you, at least, because you've managed to get on the good side of monsterkind's former queen. Hell, you even have to convince her to let you make the journey back home. Though, in true motherly fashion, she's not going to let you out into the wilderness without a chaperone. Thankfully, there's somebody on the other side of the door that owes her a favor.

Enter Sans the skeleton. Things get off to a rocky start between you two, mostly because of his groan-worthy puns and the fact that he's kind of a prick sometimes. But he made a promise to the old lady, so he begrudgingly takes you under his wing. Mostly this involves telling people that you're a distant relative of his, and that you aren't human even if you look like one. For some reason this works.

However, Papyrus isn't as easily fooled. He knows a human when he sees one! (Nevermind that this is his first time ever seeing one...) Although Sans' fib about you being a relative almost worked on him too, honestly. And he's mad! Here you are, the key to The Great Papyrus joining the royal guard and having his greatness finally recognized, and his own brother refuses to let him capture you? But then again, you don't seem very much at all like what he's been told of humans. Most of monsterkind believes that humans aren't capable of mercy, that they cruelly sealed the underground shut out of spite after winning the war. Yet, you don't seem interested in fighting or winning any battles, even when it would be in your best interest...

Papyrus decides that your pacifistic nature makes you an unfit opponent. When he captures a human, it needs to be a challenge! It needs to prove his worth! You're too small and nice to be of any use to him as a captive. That's his excuse, anyway. The truth is that he and his brother are becoming very fond of you...

The pair allow you to sleep on their couch until they can come up with a way to get you past Asgore. Even if it weren't for your pacifistic nature, the king's track record when it comes to the souls of human children... Well, you're going to want to avoid him at all costs. But the longer you live with them, the more accustomed they get to having you around. Papyrus' cooking skills get better and better as he learns to make some human cuisine. You don't mind monster food, but it's not very nutritious for humans. Sans learns to be less of a prick, but you're still the victim of a prank every so often. After enough time passes, you're almost like a third sibling to them.

Sometime in the future, rumor of your existence is going to reach the king. He's going to come looking for you. Your soul is going to be in his sights. And when that day comes, you might be surprised what lengths the brothers will go to in order to keep you safe. In any case, there will be dust on somebody's hands.

"What? Do you want me to grovel at your feet just to make sure you don't get yourself killed out there?" The skeleton hisses at you in an irritated tone. "I will never let you leave me."

"I can handle myself out there, you don't need to be around me all the time!" You hiss back, narrowing your eyes. The door out of Sans' room has been locked your entire argument. You just know he's using his powers to keep it that way.

"You don't fucking get it!" Sans scolds, keeping his ground. "You can't live out there without me. You'll die... why don't you see that!?"

"I'm going to be fine. You need to let me out." You reason, but Sans refuses to listen.

"Don't act like you're such a damn expert!" Sans spits. "If you want me to beg, then I’ll beg for you! You. Will. Die. End of story!"

You can tell by the flare of his coat that you're making him frustrated. You're wary of his mood and back down a bit. Sans notices and takes a deep breath.

"I’m only this desperate for you..." Sans sighs, looking weary. "Does that mean anything to you? Can't you tell I care about you? If you go out there... they'll kill you. They'll take you away.

You feel sympathetic towards the skeleton in front of you. You want to reach out but you're afraid.

Especially when you see the glint in his sockets.

"Which means I'm willing to do anything to keep you here with me..." Sans laughs, stepping closer. You feel bones at your back. A chill climbs up your spine like spiders.

"Including hurt you..." Sans whispers, placing a gloved hand on your cheek.

"So are you sure you want to press me anymore than you have?"

I've seen many misinformation about "Science Sans" about his birthday and about his original creator, so here are some facts about "Science Sans"

The origin of Sci's "canon" birthday on February 10th shares the same birthday as my persona (Yasu-Kun)

If Science Sans came from an alternate/pre-timeline of Undertale as a scientist (eg. TalkingSoup's version or "Sciencetale" RP version) → "Scientist Sans"

If Science Sans branched out from Undertale's timeline/universe as its own AU (doesn't become as Classic/Undertale!Sans in the future) and be any role related to science not limited to being a scientist (eg. psychologist, doctor, time traveller) → "Science Sans"

You *could* say I'm the original creator of "Science Sans" after inventing many ideas for the AU community ("Yandere"/Evil!Sci, Sci-Ko and his alters, Japanese!Sci, Doctor!Sci etc.) — especially if basing him on my version with his birthday on February 10th

There's so many people who created "Scientist Sans" before I joined the fandom, but I'm one of the earliest creators who created their own version of "Science Sans" (often ships with Underfell Sans) along with others back long ago when the scifell community on Tumblr was very active (2016+)

However, anyone can own their version of "Science Sans" or "Scientist Sans" (eg. Crayon Queen is the owner of her CPAU version of Sci)

As long as people don't credit the wrong creator of my version of Sci (especially on his birthday on Feb 10th), I recommend crediting "Science Sans" to the AU Community

OH MAIDEN! I GOT AN IMAGINE SUGGESTION!

okokkok this takes place in a reality similar to hnd but syrup is like 10x more yandere. All the other AUs are normal and they all crush on MC. Syrup is deep deep deeply OBSESSED and in love with MC to the point that he basically kidnaps her and holds her hostage. yknow, the usual. He basically manipulates and sometimes torture her "in the name of love". he isolates her from friends and family, often goes as far as to threaten putting their lives at risk if she dares to leave him.

Everyone is frantic about the news that MC is missing, and syrup being the master of no emotion isn't suspected in the slightest.

Months pass by, not a sign of MC. The devastating possibility of her death is hanging over the skulls of our beloved skeletons, even tho she is very much alive, physically at least, her soul is almost fully drained from the hell syrup puts her through because of his love.

Until one day, one skeleton somehow in some way stumbles across an old cabin in the deep forest behind the skeleton's residence. It seems... suspiciously well gaurded for something so rotten and decaying. Our curious skeleton decides, ah wth let me check it out. As they approach the cabin, it seems fairly normal.

However as they approach closer, they hear shallow breathing. So weak, so fragile, so...done. This peeks their interest as they quietly near the cabin. Till they accidentally step on a stray branch. a deafening CRACK fills this eerily quiet forest. A sharp, almost terrified gasp rings from inside the cabin, followed by hurried shuffling. Almost as if whatever is in there is crawling desperately away from the sound.

The skeleton decides to push forward, concerned. They stand infront of the gaurded door and try to turn the knob that obviously wont turn. (If its a papyrus personality, they summon a bone that they use to break the lock of the door. If its a sans personality, they lock pick the door open). As they entered the cabin, the creaking of the door echoed loudly throughout its halls. They ventured further, finding yet another door....thats also chained shut? behind it, they hear soft sobs.

They open it in the same way they did the door before. In this room, they see a frame of a human cowering in the corner, crying with their hands covering their ears in fear. no..it.it cant be. They notice an all too familiar face turn to them. Dark eye bags, flush face, sickly paler skin, bruises, half assed bandages wrapped around their neck and limbs. dried. blood. everywhere. Their eyes are filled with terror, thinking that its their captor coming to torture them again, only to feel the world around them stop as they lock eyes with the newcomer.

A sense of immense relief and happiness floods MC's soul as she realizes who is in the room. But that suddenly washes away as she remembers the threats syrup told her if she tried to escape.

A new round of tears well up in her eyes as she desperately crawls and holds the skeleton tight. She begs them to leave "before he comes back and hurts you too" whilst she clings to them for dear life. Craving any comfort she can get, knowing that itll only get worse from here. Another crack sounds off in the woods outside the cabin.

MC immediately detaches from hugging the skeleton and scurries back into her corner. Her breathe is heavy yet shallow. Her eyes wide and alert. Her body starts to shake again. She starts to whisper quickly "leave leave leave please leave. he's here. h-he's gonna hurt you. i d-don't know how i-i'll live with myself if he does. please. GO!" her voice getting more and more desperate as heavy footsteps approach the cabin.

Your turn maiden. How would the main skeletons react to this situation? especially Berry since this is his brother, would he get hurt? you can add any other skeletons you want too!😶‍🌫️🩷

Sans - Sans isn’t leaving you, especially not in the state you are currently in. He’s one of the toughest boss monsters out there, he can handle whoever comes through that door. Although he is a bit taken aback when he sees Syrup but Sans can beat any of the skeletons. It just takes some effort. You’re coming home though, Syrup won’t hurt you ever again. 

Papyrus -Papyrus is too busy trying to calm you down, trying to tell you the two of you can get out of here together. When he sees Syrup he asks him for help but it’s Papyrus's down fall, his trusting nature almost always is. Syrup dusts him without a second thought. 

Red -He needs to see who it is first, he needs to know who you are so scared of and as soon as he does he is shortcutting you both out of there. Red knows if he takes Syrup alone he could lose so he is getting help. Syrup isn’t getting away with this. 

Edge -He wants to stay with you, to take you with him but he can see how scared you are and he knows better than to wait around. He promises he’s coming back for you before heading back home. Edge becomes meticulous, as he tries to figure out who took you. It doesn’t take him long and then Edge does something he hardly ever does. He asks for help. In the end Syrup escapes but you are safe and Edge and the others are going to make sure it stays that way. 

Blue -He listens to you, despite not wanting to but Blue doesn’t make it back home. He does manage to seriously hurt Syrup after the tall skeleton tracks him down but Blue left clues for his brother and feels that his sacrifice will be worth it. 

Orange - As he grabs you to shortcut away he glances around, taking in any information he can and he knows exactly who took you. Your panicked when you get home but Orange calms you down before going to Berry and tells him everything. It’s on Berry now but if the small skeleton doesn’t do anything Orange will go to Sans and they will deal with Syrup. Syrup isn’t getting away with this. 

Berry -Would get a pass from his brother but Berry can’t stand what Syrup did. Berry hates what he has to do but he isn’t letting his brother get away with this. He makes Syrup turn himself in but Berry can’t stand to look at his baby brother after what he did.
