summary: after you save momo's life, you finally find the courage to confess to her!

"momo–!!"

you rushed towards your classmate, a hand stretched out for her. just a bit closer. just a little faster. you had to reach her before the villain did! you had to save her!

momo had just turned her head to the side and spotted the villain, when you finally reached her. in the very last moment, you tackled the man onto the ground, activating your quirk and piercing through his chest.

you stared down at him, breathing heavily as you watched his eyes widen one last time, before he stopped moving. for a moment you just stared at him, realizing what you had done. but then momo's voice snapped you out of your thoughts.

"y-you… you saved me..!"

momo seemed shaken at what had just happened. she stared down at you and the villain, as you quickly got up and took her hands.

"don't look at him…"

you didn't want her to see that.

"just… look at me instead"

your hands wandered up and you now gently cupped her cheeks, smiling at momo. perhaps it was the adrenalin that was still rushing through your body that had made you this bold, but you didn't mind it. you probably should've done this a long time ago.

"i'm so glad nothing happened to you… i couldn't stand losing you..."

you slowly inched closer to her. momo blushed, realizing what you meant by that and what you were about to do next. she smiled nervously before closing her eyes. and just a moment later, your lips met hers.

when you pulled away from her after a few seconds, you knew you had to tell momo how you felt, while you were still feeling bold!

"i love you, momo. i have for a very long time now and i can't keep it to myself anymore. not when i almost lost you today!"

momo smiled and pressed a short kiss against your lips.

"i love you too, my hero~"

A/N: omfg school senior yaomomo (private school bc her parents are loaded). Just. Here:

You’re 15, she’s 17. You’ve seen her around school a lot. And not interacted with her nearly enough. ‘Til this year, that is.

Now she’s your house prefect. You purposefully fuck up your uniform so you get called out by her. You pretend you don’t know how to wear your tie so she’ll do it for you. She’s always so fucking nice about it. Your uniform is almost always wrong. She never questions it. You don’t know how she does it. Just tells you off really nicely sometimes. It’s fucking frustrating.

You run into her at the library once, and again, and again: you find out that she spends a lot of time at the library. You go there to read, she goes there to study. You find stupid reasons to talk to her. Like the time you told her that you’re thinking of taking chemistry and you want to know what to expect. (You don’t even like chemistry. And you don’t have plans to take chemistry— Ever.) She always stops what she’s doing and gives you her full attention. She never brings up the uniform mishaps. Ever. You don’t understand her.

You make her laugh sometimes and it makes your entire day every single time. The sound of her laughter becomes the background music in your head for days afterward. You show her crappy science memes that you looked up just to so you could show them to her and she says she loves them. (ohmygod she loves them! 🥺🥰💖✨)

It does cross your mind that she just puts up with you but you're just happy for the time you do get to spend with her.

Once, you forget to finish your lunch because- she walks into the hall after you sit down to eat and ties her long, black hair up before sitting down a couple tables in front of you and you’re so mesmerized by her that you literally forget where you are.

During the local sports meet — you managed to get yourself recruited by the track team early this year (A/N: just taking a moment here to say: F.) and after a gruelling month and a half of practice, your team loses; you’re a sore loser, that’s why you didn’t want to commit to this in the first place ffs— she finds you crying on the bleachers. You don’t notice her at first but then she leans closer and puts a hand on your shoulder. She asks what happened and you just shake your head because it’s so embarrassing; the thought of telling her why you’re crying makes you want to spontaeneously combust. (oh look!- on the bright side, you did learn one (1) thing about chemistry from listening to her talk) She sits with you till you stop crying and gives you a hug and you swear it’s The Best thing that’s ever happened to you, prior events of the day be damned.

One time you notice that she’s got a rainbow pin on her bag and you think about that for the next two weeks. Does that mean she’s into girls? But hasn’t she been rumoured to be in a relationship with that guy with the hair for the past three years? What does it all mean.

On Valentine’s day, you write her a card (addressed to her, by name) with a poem in it (you considered writing something by Sappho but decided that was too forward, instead you put a small piece of paper with a sketch you did of Sappho that you thought didn't bear all that much likeness to Sappho and wrote “Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day?” in some fancy writing on the back of it) and leave it in the space under her desk. You will never know where you got the courage.

You completely forget about it a few weeks later, when, after you bother her at the library again for something stupid and she’s getting up to leave, the card and the little paper with the sketch fall out of one of her notebooks. Your heart jumps to your throat. She puts it away so fast, you wonder if you imagined it, but the soft pink on her cheeks that wasn’t there before and the slight rasp in her voice when she says “bye” tells you more than you needed to know.

You start to stare off into space more often. And you start wearing rainbows and rainbow coloured things. And every waking minute of your life, you wonder if there’s a possibility she’s looking for the person who left her that card. You belatedly regret not signing your name.

You figure you should talk to someone. But you don’t really have a someone to tell this kind of thing to. You have friends but they don’t know you, not really. And you doubt they’d understand any of this. How would you even begin to tell them about this?

You’ve avoided her and you’ve tried to pretend this hasn’t affected you for weeks. You even wore your uniform nearly perfectly every day for two weeks so you wouldn’t have to get called out on it. But you reach a breaking point. And you tell Momo. You tell her you think you might be… gay. Or bi. Or some kind of queer. She says nothing for what feels like the longest minute of your life. Then, she just reaches into her bag and pulls out the card. And the sketch. And lays them on the desk between the two of you. Then she looks at you and she says, quietly, “Me too.”

You don’t say a word. You don’t even blink. You don't dare to even move a muscle for fear of reacting wrong and ruining everything.

You realise you waited a moment too long, when you catch a look of defeat in her eyes as she reaches to pick up the paper and the card, probably to put them back inside her notebook and then forget about it and never bring it up again-

You don’t know what comes over you in that moment, but you hear your mouth say, “Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day?”

Her eyes shoot up to look at yours. Then her face relaxes minutely in understanding and she says, “Thou art more lovely and more temperate.”

and you swallow, hard, before nodding and saying, almost inaudibly, “…yeah.”

Then she looks at you and smiles— and you have to pause to take a breath because it’s definitely brighter than any and all of your possible futures holy shit.

You reach out tentatively to touch(? hold?) her hand. To your relief, she doesn’t pull away. She just says, “It took a while for me to realise that was sappho. But the sonnet helped connect some dots.” Your brain doesn’t give you enough time to process that she just called your sketch shit. But— fair enough, you're not an artist.

And then she asks, “How long?” and you tell her, having the decency to look sheepish, “Two years. Give or take.”

She mindlessly rubs small circles into your palm with her thumb and says, grinning slightly, “Two months. It was easy enough to figure out that you didn’t give two shits about Chemistry.”

A couple of dates here and there with a bit of nighttime debauchery sprinkled in was your norm, and something you were both comfortable with at this point. It’s not like you didn’t want the rest of your friends knowing, but Momo had asked to keep it quiet until she was ready for them to know, well, that she was into women. You understood, fully ready to keep her secret until she felt comfortable. Which led to the two of you awkwardly acting as friends during training.

- It was a typical day with class 3A training at gamma. You had been paired up with Todoroki, and Momo was paired with Ashido. Occasional glances thrown toward you had your cheeks pinker than usual. Of course Shoto caught on, teasing you about being out of breath. (Ignoring Bakugo shaking his head and muttering something obscene under his breath)

- Momo and Pinky finished up their session, and took to the sidelines while you and Shoto took your places in the training circle. The more you flexed, the more Momo’s face was tinged rose, almost giving you away immediately. You had a shit eating grin on your face, knowing you’d hear it later on.

- Sometimes, you just really liked teasing her. Because she sure knew how to tease you, too.

- It was Bakugo who figured out your little situation long before anyone else. He’d agreed to keep your secret, and you would keep him to it otherwise his ass was on the line. You’d do anything to keep your princess happy, right?

Other than that , you basically refused anything that isn't up to your standards. Noodles with veggies? yuck. A colouring book of dinosaurs instead of kittens? burn it.

You also basically lost your manners. Not even saying thank you or even greet your mommy’s friends correctly. “is this your little girl, yaomomo? she's so pretty! hi sweetheart, my name is mina ashido. you can call me auntie if you want!” only for you to ignore her and whined at your mommy saying it's boring and hot.

Hello, this is an idea that has been floating around my head. Momo, Tsuyu, Kirishima, and Bakugo with a s/o who is a Super Sentai / Kamen Rider styled vigilante. They wear an elaborate costume and have a bombastic personality while in uniform.

Momo

She's a little skeptical but she is still supportive of you a lot. If your identity is a secret she would have no problem keeping it.

So while in public she doesn't speak of your actions and doesn't make public statements during interviews. She does praise you often when she's sure nobody is listening in though.

She appreciates your courage, but unfortunately she wouldn't be too cooperative with your plans. She would help you with her quirk if you needed to bring something, but she wouldn't actively participate in your plan... Unless you were going to risk your life.

Tsuyu

She likes talking about your work. It's interesting and even though it's in the same field it's still so different from her own work.

She of course would help you should you need her. She isn't too secretive about it, she just doesn't tell it to anyone. But she wouldn't deny it when asked.

You're just so cool it's cute. She always looks forward to seeing you in action even if it'd be on the news or something.

Eijiro

If you got a cent each time he thought of you being cool you'd be able to buy the earth.

You never stop impressing him. Although your hero work can be questionable at time, given that you don't follow the general rules.

But you get everything done in style, so there's no way he won't appreciate it.

While he doesn't want to get into any legal troubles... He actually would agree if you needed help from him. No matter how risky your plan is.

Bakugo

He thinks that you're a show off, but in a good way since unlike other extras you actually get things done.

He doesn't really understand what's different from what you do and what he does since he doesn't exactly go by the procedure rules when in action either.

But if you want to just run away with some mysterious aura to power some people's fantasy about hero life so be it. Just be damn good at it and he won't complain.

summary: Could I request hcs where they benefit each other, such as Yaoyorozu and Reader who have like lunches with each other in her building since there are no privacy invading paparazzi, (ofc the team gets to eat too, just in a different hall), Yaoyorozu asking Reader to handle like things that she isn't allowed to do and also nsfw elements CW: smut, fluff, etc A/N: This one proved to be a bit more challenging than anticipated due to me only having met Ningguang in the main story and don't know much about Beidou so pls lmk if i did ok! I can see Yaomomo and yn start off by collaborating on efforts in the media scene and community service agenda. Momo would have invited you to her agency to talk business, and inviting you to lunch.

From there, little by little, the two of you would spend more time together. It just made things easier, you'd say whenever the press would pry.

Days turn to weeks turn to months, and lunch meetings became secret dinner dates, and community parties because a gossip's favorite media event because everyone would wonder whether or not the infamous yn and Creatie would show themselves together.

But the two of you knew better than to slip up. Momo was born into a rich family, one that was always in the public eye. She knew better than most on how to keep people guessing. Ever reserved, ever cunning and always proper.

You, on the other hand, were different. A polar opposite, if you will. Many labled you to be outgoing and loud. Part of you wondered if that’s what she loved most about you. You pushed her out of her comfort zone more often than she’d cared to admit.

That was how the two of you ended up in this… partnership.

It wasn’t without mutual benefit.

Whenever Momo needed some things taken care of that needed more… discretion, she’d ask you. Knowing you didn’t mind getting your hands dirty was another one of those qualities she admired in you.

And, well, whenever you needed funding for your underground missions, Creatie delivered.

It was between the fine lines of business and partnership where you two found something neither had intended.

Pleasure.

It’s how you found yourself tangled up in her arms night after night, lips swollen from the kisses she’d give you and covered in small hickies. You awakened something in Momo, something she never realized she was missing until you.

You never wanted to admit it, either. Maybe it was because it was foreign to you, different. But Momo awakened something in you, too. Something that was far more dangerous than any mission you’d taken on in your journey as an undercover hero.
