Joel (and by extension, Silas) are both aggressively nearsighted, like "text about a foot away's already almost unreadably blurry" type shit.

Joel personally just thinks he looks weird without his glasses on so he's always stuck to those. Also...ridiculously prone to napping just...whenever so....contacts are more or less out of the question anyway.

Silas does generally wear contacts, at least out of the house. The feeling of having his glasses smushed up against his face while using a camera just...isn't it. Still prefers his glasses at home, however.

because sometimes there are invisible tests and invisible rules and you're just supposed to ... know the rule. someone you thought of as a friend asks you for book recommendations, so you give her a list of like 30 books, each with a brief blurb and why you like it. later, you find out she screenshotted the list and send it out to a group chat with the note: what an absolute freak can you believe this. you saw the responses: emojis where people are rolling over laughing. too much and obsessive and actually kind of creepy in the comments. you thought you'd been doing the right thing. she'd asked, right? an invisible rule: this is what happens when you get too excited.

you aren't supposed to laugh at your own jokes, so you don't, but then you're too serious. you're not supposed to be too loud, but then people say you're too quiet. you aren't supposed to get passionate about things, but then you're shy, boring. you aren't supposed to talk too much, but then people are mad when you're not good at replying.

you fold yourself into a prettier paper crane. since you never know what is "selfish" and what is "charity," you give yourself over, fully. you'd rather be empty and over-generous - you'd rather eat your own boundaries than have even one person believe that you're mean. since you don't know what the thing is that will make them hate you, you simply scrub yourself clean of any form of roughness. if you are perfect and smiling and funny, they can love you. if you are always there for them and never admit what's happening and never mention your past and never make them uncomfortable - you can make up for it. you can earn it.

Darker themes I can understand, however, when writing and glorifying it or romanticizing I take a big stance against and will probably not interact with you. This is just a general pet peeve but like...rping with me purely for the sake of romance or smut. If I find out if someone ever does that to me I will get pretty upset and I will let you know pretty quick I'm not cool with that. Or straight up ignore you.

MUSE PREFERENCES FLUFF, ANGST OR SMUT : I do like all 3. Again smut is...I am very picky considering I am ace and for Hades too for many reasons. Nun Nu Nan Na -> 9/10 It’s iconic, but I like their other titles more (hence, the point off.)

Assa -> 10/10 Kpop excellence in its truest form. I absolutely loved the instrumental as well.

Arisong -> 9.5/10 Assa’s little sister. I LOVED the (very few) parts where their harmonies shined through.

Dadalhae -> 9.5/10 I absolutely LOVED this track. It kind of reminded me of TWICE’s What is Love?, if it was just a bit more camp-y. I also loved the bridge!

Hinghing -> 8/10 It was definitely a stark contrast compared to the rest of the album. I actually really liked it though! I really like how the horus brings that sort of hyper / campy sound that’s found in the rest of the tracks.
