Tim let out a noise that was /not/ a scream as the curtains ripped open and sunlight poured across him.

"Not gonna lie, I'm kind of offended," Kon said, even as he floated upwards so that he was blocking most of the sunlight with his body. "Chillax, babe. It's just me."

Tim hissed at him and pulled the covers pointedly over his head. Kon was so disgustingly awake that he had to have already chugged at least a cup and a half of coffee. Tim, on the other hand, had only got back from patrol -- he glanced at his clock - three hours ago. He was not ready to be awake yet.

Unfortunately, Bat Training (TM) made it almost impossible to fall back asleep after being surprised awake.

For better or for worse (it was definitely for worse), he was completely awake now.

Tim groaned and threw back his covers so that Kon could experience the full weight of his glare.

Kon's eyebrows flew up. "That's not exactly the welcome I was expecting," he said lightly, stepping inside Tim's room and shutting the window behind him. He even thought to shut the curtains, and Tim's displeasure eased slightly.

Kon hesitated by the window, seemingly unsure if he should move closer or not. "...Do you want me to leave?"

"No," Tim said immediately, because he always wanted Kon around. But... "If you want to, that's okay. I got in late last night so I'm not going to be great company."

Kon's brow furrowed with concern. "I didn't hear anything big in Gotham last night. Everything okay?"

Tim shrugged. "No shoot-outs or anything, but there was a girl on a roof," he explained vaguely. "She wanted to jump, but I persuaded her not to. It took a while."

He really hoped that the therapist Leslie had put her in touch with would be able to help her.

Kon studied him for a moment, then something in his posture eased. "How about we turn off the lights and watch some Wendy, huh?"

Tim considered that. Curling up on the bed with Kon did sound enticing. He made an excellent heat pack, and he didn't mind Tim manhandling him into the most comfortable position. It was a very good opportunity to achieve Perfect Cozy. But... "You realize I'm just going to fall asleep again, right?"

Kon rolled his eyes. "Yeah, that's kind of the point. Come on, let me be your clone pillow."

He wiggled his eyebrows exaggeratedly. "Promise I'll make it good for you."

Tim snickered, though it morphed into a yawn halfway through. "Yeah, that sounds nice."

No Hetero (the first Voltron fic I ever wrote, I also remember writing this fic with perfect clarity, like I became conscious of my writer brain when I wrote this)

5. Do you respond to comments? sometimes, when I post a new chapter I'll respond to comments on the previous one. But for every single comment, I get such a comment notification high <3 I've printed out several, too and they live on my bookshelf and provide joy and motivation.

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? I've never written a sad ending intentionally, but I have so many unfinished fics that end in the middle angst section. Of the fics that I'm pretty sure I'll never finish, I'd say my My Hero Academic fic Date Me (For Justice) which was my first attempt a really long fic and stops on such a mutual pining, getting blackmailed, sad note. Now that I'm writing this, I'm like-- I should finish that.

7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? I love the ending of Sore Loser, and not just because it's a little spicy.

8. Do you get hate on fics? there's such a culture of, "if you don't like it, keep scrolling" so I've never gotten real hate, but I have gotten critique comments that point out places that I didn't get canon right and places where I contradicted the facts of my own story lol those guys are basically my beta readers <3 <3 <3

9. Do you write smut? Yeah, I actually started last year!

10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you have written? Yeah, not really for Batman, but I have in the past. The craziest is probably my Wandavision Supernatural crossover.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen? I think the second fic I ever posted (Spideypool) which couldn't have gotten more than like 1,000 reads, I got a comment that was like, "just so you know someone posted this on Wattpad."

12. Have you ever had a fic translated? Yes, honored that someone translated Tim and Kon v. The World into Chinese!

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before? No but I'm so down for real, that sounds fun!

14. What's your all time favorite ship? You'd think by my ao3 stats, it's TimKon-- but I write fanfic for things I wish were different. There's a lot about their canon dynamic I love, and their fanfic is top tier, but for my favorite canon ship I'd probably say like Percabeth (especially with the Disney plus show, they're so back)

15. What is a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will? Probably my Daredevil Matt/Foggy High School au. I'm just not that into Daredevil anymore. I have so many Batman WIPs, but when I think of them I'm like, one day I'll finish it, baby!

16. What are your writing strengths? I love how I write banter. I also like to think that I give the supporting cast or characters who might be reduced to comic relief their own interior life and mini arcs-- but that might be more aspirational than actually in my writing as of now lol. I think I also write friend groups really well!

17. What are your writing weaknesses? structure, and related to that pacing. Also, the way I shy away from editing even though writing is rewriting or whatever that saying is. I'd say there's like five fics of mine that I've genuinely edited, but I'm working on it. I've been reading such a great book about writing lately called A Swim in the Pond in the Rain by George Saunders, and I highly recommend it.

18. Thoughts of writing dialogue in another language in fics? I think the only time I've done that was in one of my Supernatural fics. I wrote Eileen, who's deaf. Originally, I put all her dialogue in italics to signify it was being signed. But I got such a kind and helpful comment on that fic being like it's weird and frowned upon to have her ASL lines formatted so differently, so I changed it! I think if I ever did another language again, I would research it more thoroughly first.

19. First fandom you wrote for? it was on fanfic.net and it was Percy Jackson, he and Annabeth were middle aged (which I obviously had great insight into at 15) and the main character was their daughter. Although as a child, I would write my own episodes of my favorite tv shows which was way before I knew what a screenwriter or fanfiction was. I love that one of my oldest instincts is to create the shit I wish I was seeing.

20. Favorite fic you have written? Hm, of my completed fics, I'd say a tie between To All The Vigilantes I've Loved Before and Capture the Flag (to the Death). I like the first one because it's the longest romance I've finished (at 27k) and there are certain scenes I really love. The capture the flag one I like because it feels the most like a real miniseries DC would publish (out of everything I've written) and I'm really proud of the ways I hid each of their flags and all the betrayals.

What do you think the moral implications for raising an clone of your significant other are? I'm trying to write a fanfic (and no it's not timkon. This time.)

When I say clone I mean not like Kon is a clone of Clark or Thad is a clone of Bart clone but like. An actual clone no one else's dna mixed in.

i love that you specify its not timkon because yeah that WAS where my brain first went, LMAO. i personally don't really look into all the clone baby AUs but i know they're out there

Anyways, honestly, I feel like it's not... too different from just raising an ordinary child of your s/o? Because I mean yes obviously a clone is going to be genetically the same as the s/o thus would have more in common with them than a regular child/composite clone in several ways... But in a lot of media that involves cloning, I think it's shown more often than not that lived experiences and how a person/clone is raised plays a role in who they are (especially like, for a clone that comes out as a child that then grows up rather than being rapid aged to adulthood). Like, even as a clone, unless their mind is re-written over with the exact memories and experiences that the original person had, they're likely going to have a level of variance and individuality. So really, in a story the act of 'raising a clone of your s/o' on it's own doesn't particularly raise any moral red flags to me, personally. It's just kinda... a funky alternative way to end up a parent.

BUT there are like... some follow-up questions I'd have which uh, matter in terms of moral implications. Primarily regarding how the clone came to be.

Like, I think it'd be fucked up to clone your s/o without their permission if they're alive—it just feels like a huge violation of personal autonomy. (If they're dead and it's like a tim drake style last ditch attempt to bring someone back to life in some way that's a little different, but also definitely still falls into a morally grey 'is this really what you want? is this what they would want?' space). But if it's more 'somebody else did this/this was not done on purpose, but now there's a clone baby and somebody's gotta take care of it, this clone is of my s/o so i feel like this is my/our responsibility' that seems... reasonable enough.

idk i feel i'd need more specifics on the situation to get more in depth on thoughts about it, but i think in a lot of situations i feel pretty... morally neutral about it 🤷‍♂️

#in general i do not give much thought to. parenting/raising children in any circumstance. that is simply not my vibe

oh finishing sotm for sure!!! it's been a few years since i actually completed a longfic, and even if sotm was a lot shorter than my previous other projects it's still like. aw hell yeah i did it B)

😈 Is there anything you enjoy doing that you think your readers hate?

one time someone told me they think my writing is good but i use the word "and" too much. does that count? ksjdhfkjdhkjsh

other than that bozo generally uhhh... not that i can think of! i think most of the things i enjoy doing in my writing are the things i'm good at, which i'd assume are the draws to it in the first place. unless me always cutting away via "fade to black" instead of including any explicit stuff so far counts lmaooo

👻 What is one WIP you think you may never pick back up?

you know if you'd asked me this two days ago i'd have said the timkon sex pollen fic but then i did actually work on it some yesterday so... honestly with my dc wips i do think i'm gonna finish or at least keep picking at all of them. maybe my resident evil fics, then. dunno if i'm ever gonna go back to writing resi fic. blowing a kiss to the sky for claire redfield though...

💫what is your favorite kind of comment/feedback?

I have a very specific favorite comment format and it's so fucking needy of me so no pressure to anyone reading to comment like this!!! but my favorite kind of comment is 1000000% when it's formatted like this:

["Snippet of something I wrote"] the commenter's reaction to that specific bit

Sincerely, I've said it before and I'll say it again: in the least creepy way possible, I would watch everyone react to every line of my fic if I could. Sometimes I just write a line I'm really proud of and I want it to be the line that makes someone laugh or shout or tear up and I love when people tell me what parts made them feel things!!! Also sometimes people point out lines that I didn't think twice about, ones that just came naturally, but they still make people lose it and I love that just as much!!

a close second favorite kind of comment is just when people leave me a really, really long comment about the things they loved in the chapter. Seriously, every time I get a comment that's an essay it makes me want to never stop writing 😂 Basically, much like my Jason, I'm a sucker for praise.

🦋what are you most insecure about when you post a fic?

Oh noooooooo I have to be vulnerable??? Fuck. Okay, fine.

I'm usually the most insecure about the way the tone of the scenes flow together. I'm a bit of a freak about the plotline? And when I say 'a bit of a freak', I mean I have a full-size corkboard with all of the plotpoints of Know Yourself on it. Like I'm Charlie in that one gif from It's Always Sunny with the insane red string conspiracy theory board. Below is the Evidence in case you thought I was joking (I blurred out everything that was a spoiler, don't worry. Or sorry):

...Yeah. It's a lot. Sometimes I just really struggle with feeling like the moods/tone flows from scene to scene. If they're mad at each other, I need it not to feel like they're forgiving each other too easily. If they have a huge argument, they can't just go back to exactly how it was before (looking at you, chapter 7 of Know Yourself, which is giving me an absurd amount of trouble). Thus, the corkboard. It lets me quickly look at everything I've already written (without reading all *squints* 50k words I've posted, jesus fucking christ) and figure out if everything I'm working on makes sense with what came before that.

And yeah, it is a lot of work and dedication for the silly little fanfics I write, but it's sort of like a puzzle to me? It's satisfying to untie all the tangled ideas I have and make them into something pretty.

That said, TimKon never gives me as much trouble as JayTim. I should really post some of my TimKon stuff lol

💌share something with us about an up-and-coming work (WIP) that has you excited!

Oh my god, this was cruel. You may not have known this was cruel, but this was cruel. Because the last time you sent me an ask, I knew I had a ton of ideas and I teased like two of them, but since then, the JayTimWeek prompts went up. And I promised myself I wasn't going to write something for every day, but then I blinked and I had ideas for every single day.

So, what to do? Do I post a snippet from one of my JayTim week WIPs? Do I post a minor spoiler for Know Yourself that you asked about in one of your comments? Do I drop all 6k words of chapter 1 of a long TimKon fic that's been sitting in my drafts for months? Do I tease an idea that I'm submitting for a zine? Do these questions count as an answer to the prompt, because I can't decide which I'm the most excited about?

No, I'm not that mean 😂 Here are two of the lines I'm most proud of from the next chapter of Know Yourself, which are in the same scene but not next to each other and don't spoil anything:

Jason was the one who had overreacted in the first place, filing Tim’s teeth to a sharp point in the hopes that he’d bite.

But then he fucked it all up. He’d done what he did best: tried to freeze over his white-hot anger, and still managed to be surprised when the ice cracked and steam shot out.

Thanks for the ask!!! I love doing these so thank you for making me answer and giving me an excuse to rest from writing (although @lovetimdrake is going to send me a meme in like 3 hours bullying me (rightfully) about how I'm supposed to be betaing their fic lol)

“Your Heart Rate Went Up-”

Hi! Here’s a pretty old but still cute TimKon ramble. It was not until much later that I found out that Kon didn’t have super hearing. But hey, DC doesn’t care about continuity, why should I? This is a cute concept and I stand by it. This is likely OOC as it was the first thing I wrote for TimKon. I hope you enjoy though, it’s lighthearted fluff with dumb mushy tropes. _ _ _ _ _ _

Tim sat in the common area of the live-in head quarters. It was one of their rare days off. Everyone else was either relaxing, catching up on much needed sleep, or just spending a bit of time with each other. Tim has set up his laptop, streaming bad old horror movies while he did a bit of school work. His English project had been a basic sort of daily journaling thing for the past month. For anyone else it would have been simple but Tim, who spent most nights on roof tops trying to take down mafia members and not get shot, answering the questions “what did you do last night?” became daunting. Writing the same boring lie over and over. His teacher seemed suspicious and Tim was worried that his teacher was going to think he was a drug dealer, what with the suspiciously bland overused daily routine and that Tim accidentally let slip his knowledge on how to cook meth whilst writing an essay on drugs and their portrayal in media. He sighed and dropped his head in his hand, pouting at his empty page. “Hey Tim?” Tim’s head turned towards the voice. Kon leaned in the door way, his hands in the pockets of his stormy grey, lazy-day sweat pants. Kon was for once not wearing his usual Superman S t-shirt, but instead a plain black tank top. Tim was fairly certain one of Kon’s arms was thinker than Tim’s entire body. Kon made sure to remind Tim how tiny he was in comparison. It was ridiculously annoying. Kon was ridiculously annoying. He relied on nothing but his bronze and when that failed, he just let the team just clean up his messes. He was prone to being short tempered and impulsive which lead to issues on the field. When Kon wasn’t being impulsive he was- “Sorry, did I startle ya?” He asked Tim, the corner of his mouth twitching into a slight smirk. “What- no, you didn’t? Why would you say that?” Tim asked, dropping his pen into his note book. “Your heart rate went up,” Kon replied. -Annoying. Kon was still annoying. He wandered over to Tim and sat down on the couch next to him. “What’cha workin’ on?” He asked, his arm on the back of the couch behind Tim’s head. “Nothing interesting, just catching up on school work,” Tim noticed Kon’s hair was wet, and he smelled of something fruity and sweet. He must’ve just just gotten out of the shower. Tim’s eyes dipped back to his paper. Why was eye contact suddenly so hard? “That’s a pretty empty lookin’ page for catching up on homework.” “Shut up,” Tim hit Kon’s chest. “Hey! I was just gonna offer to help! I mean- I’m not great but two heads are better than one?” Tim sighed, he couldn’t really argue there. It’s not like he was getting anywhere on his own. He grabbed his note book and pen and turned to Kon. Tim hesitated for a moment. Their faces were much closer then Tim expected. “You sure you’re okay?” Kon asked looking Tim up and down quickly. “Your heart rate went up again,” he glanced over Tim’s shoulder, at his laptop screen, “Maybe give the cheesy horror movies a break.” “Y-yeah, maybe,” Tim scooted away from Kon, shutting his computer and begun to explain his homework. He handed kon his note book to Kon, “I guess my excuses are just getting kinda... dry?” He explained. “Well-” Kon began. “You’re dripping on my paper, stop leaning your wet hair over it!” Kon rolled his eyes and slumped back into the pillows, “As I was saying- what if instead of making up stuff, you just... rephrase what you did?” Tim tilted his head, confused. “Y’know,” Kon paused thinking for an example, “Well, what did you do yesterday?” “Trained with the team. We worked on hand to hand combat and fighting without powers,” Tim replied. “So write that you were doing a group work out, or at a martial arts club or something?” Kon reasoned.

Tim paused, “that’s... actually pretty helpful... thanks, Kon. Maybe you’re not the worst,” he said with a slight smile, pale blue-grey eyes meeting the krytonian’s. Maybe Kon wasn’t always t h a t annoying. Kon smiled brightly, “Good, glad,” he replied. Then he stood and stretched, “Well, my work here is done, I’ll get out of your hair and let you-“ “Wait,” Tim scrambled to his feet, “it’s nice having the company, if you’re not busy. And- I’m still not really great at this. Mind sticking around a little longer?” “Yeah, sure, I don’t mind. You don’t have to be so nervous?” “I’m not nervous?!” Tim snapped scowling. “Heart ra-“ “I stood up quickly!” “Ohmygod- if that’s all it takes, your body ain’t right,” Kon teased, sitting back on the couch. Tim groaned and rolled his eyes. “I think it’s the caffeine. It’s destroying your blood pressure.” “Do not tell me to stop drinking coffee, Kent,” Tim said punctuating the word ‘Kent,’ with an elbow to the other boy’s side. “Besides, It’s like, one cup in the morning!” he added in a grumble. Tim put the movie back on from his laptop, and started writing his English journaling, quietly checking things in with Kon every now and then. By the time the movie was over, Tim was packing up his work, pushing his pencils and paper into his bag. “You know... I’ll have to write stuff for what happens tomorrow- think you can help me out again?” He asked softly. “Yeah- sounds good,” Kon agreed. They started putting aside time each night to meet up and put on an episode of cheesy old TV shows, while Tim did his journaling for the day. Slowly, they started sitting closer together. Kon’s arm migrated from being over the back of the couch to being over Tim’s shoulders. Neither seemed to notice that their heads were closer together. If there was time left in whatever they were watching when Tim was finished writing, he would let his head rest on Kon’s shoulder. But it didn’t mean anything, right? It was just comfortable... yeah, comfortable and therefore, logical. It didn’t mean anything. If Tim fell asleep curled into Kon’s side, the krytonian didn’t dare move him. But it didn’t mean anything right? It was just the nice thing to do....yeah, nice thing to do, and Kon was a good friend, (even if his arm was getting kind of numb) and therefore, this was just polite. It didn’t mean anything. Two weeks later, Tim slumped on to the couch, head dropping immediately on to Kon’s shoulder, groaning softly. “What’s up?” Kon asked him, a hand loosely falling on Tim’s back, between his shoulder blades. “I just... something is bothering me.” “What is it? And why’d your heart rate go up?” “It didn’t!” “It did. Now tell me what’s wrong- Do you need help with more school work?” Kon asks.

Tim stat up, tucking his hair behind his ears, in a feeble attempt to keep it from falling in his face. “Yeah, um it’s not really school it’s... okay so- uh I,” Tim bit his lip. The tips of his ears were going pink.

“Are you... nervous?” Kon asked, slightly confused.

“No! Okay, yeah I am-Just-shut up for sec!” Tim slammed his palms down on his knees and took a breath. “You’ve been helping me, and I’ve been spending time with you a lot and it’s been great! I was talking to Dick and he started teasing me about liking you. As more than a friend, I mean. And it was super annoying!”

“So... your brother is getting on your ner-“ Kon began, brows furrowing.

“I’m getting there! Cause- Then I realized he was right!” Tim’s face somehow went redder than it already was, “And I do like you. And that’s weird, and I don’t really- I haven’t liked another guy before and I guess what I’m trying to say is...do you wanna go out? With me? I mean yeah of course me, that’s dumb I-”

Tim was cut off by Kon lifting his chin and pressing a kiss to his lips. If Kon thought Tim’s heart rate had been elevated before, the poor boy’s heart must’ve been on the verge of exploding. Kon pulled away, hand still lingering under Tim’s jaw. “Stop rambling, dumby. Yes, I would like to go out with you- and sorry I should’ve asked if that was okay...” Kon said, looking a little sheepish as he smiled. “I- I liked it. It was nice,” Tim was bright red, and smiling. “And you know what?” Kon asks, a little smirk appearing on face.

“What?” Tim’s pale blue eyes darted to the kryptonian’s own sky blue eyes.

Kon leaned forward again, kissing Tim’s cheek, listening to his heart, “Your heart rate went up.”

Tim laughed in embarrassment, trying to force a pout, “oh shut up!” He hit Kon’s chest lightly.

“Okay, okay,” Kon laughed, placing an arm around Tim, “so- what were your date night ideas?” He asked casually.

Tim realized he was about to have lots of new things to talk about in his journal entries for English class. His teacher would soon enough be tired of hearing about Tim’s new date, but Tim didn’t think he’d ever get tired of talking about Kon.

Not ever in a thousand years.

I think that explains my attachment to this ship, not to mention just the movie's Grantaire (played by George Blagden) also shipped the characters and played his character like how he thought it should be, Grantaire loving and pining after Enjolras without the revolutionary knowing it.

Except in the fan fics, Enjolras returns his feelings and they work it out, even though it's not easy because they're both stubborn as mules. Ah, ultimate fantasy I guess. And the number of great fics here, *whistle*

Also, the Les Amis? Is amazing? Especially in the modern AUs? Like they're great friends? I love this fandom so much! Permets-tu!

Shen Wei x Zhao Yunlan - Guardian / Zhen Hun

C'mon, Zhu Yilong & Bai Yu's performance and emotions? Plus just the fact the fanfic writers of this ship are absolutely amazing? Please, escape from this pairing is impossible!

Best opposites attract trope for me. An academic by day, superhero by night in love with a roguish police chief who has no powers but whose charisma, wit, and heart can get him to toe to toe with the legends.

Also, Professor Shen Wei constantly acting like an innocent civilian and lying badly? Gold!

Loki x Tony Stark a.k.a. FrostIron - Avengers

How did I honestly get to this ship? I really can't remember what started it all. I think it must have been a Loki redemption fic where Tony Stark and Pepper broke up and something something happened. Let me tell you, the writers of this ship have written sagas and ballads of epic and sometimes confusing proportions, and that is why I fell deeper into the pit. I mean, they gotta give justice to two brilliant but chaotic characters, right? Angst. This ship has sooooooooo much angst.

Eiji x Ash - Banana Fish

My god, if you want to keep your heart intact and not be reminded of all that's ugly in the world, DON'T WATCH OR READ BANANA FISH. YOUR HEART WILL NEVER HEAL!

If you're gonna watch/read it anyway, make sure to watch something fluffy and sweet after. There's a reason that people from this fandom go, "If you've seen Banana Fish's ending, then you can handle whatever angsty show you're watching now." ~ or something to that effect. Another thing we like to say in this fandom is, "Other fandoms: Let's write a Mafia AU! Banana Fish fandom: We are the Mafia AU." Yes, all of us in this fandom is dramatic af.

Yuuri x Viktor - Yuuri!!! on Ice

Uh, does this really need an explanation? Aside from the fact that you will surprisingly find a lot of Mafia AUs here because we all know that hiding behind that beautiful face of Viktor Nikiforov is a devil capable of... tearing down your self-confidence, like WTF Viktor, don't make Yuuri cry! Also, their dance together at the end, such beautiful love.

Magnus Bane x Alec Lightwood aka Malec - Shadowhunters

I never read the books and have no plans to in the near future. I just saw a video on Youtube about why Malec is life and now here I am, still reading some Malec fics from time to time.

Some stuff on the show were WTF but overall they were a really good couple who supported each other. Plus, they're a Power Couple.

Erwin x Levi aka Eruri - Attack on Titan / Shingeki no Kyojin

Not to be confused with Ereri, which is Eren x Levi, which I don't generally ship except for that one time when a writer wrote an epic fanfic series with Eren in his mid 20s and Levi in his late 20s/early 30s, reincarnation AU. Boy was that one a surprise. I did not expect that.

Anyway, I'm an Eruri fan through and through. Especially with that promise that Levi made to Erwin. And the reason he gave the serum to Armin. HE DIDN'T DO IT FOR THE KIDS YKNOW. HE DID IT FOR ERWIN. Plus, Levi, Erwin, and Hange are my special trio. Erwin's batch was really amazing.

Also, I really like the fact that the shorter and slighter person is the more badass fighter while the taller, bigger one is the more calculating and strategic one. Rocks the boat of stereotypes and all that. Bonus: how these two met. My god, what a meet-cute! 😂

Dani x Jamie aka The Au Pair and the Gardener - The Haunting of Bly Manor

It really is more of a love story than a ghost story. I dunno how to feel about this. I loved these two characters so much and I wished they had a better ending but I wasn't SO surprised because it was a horror series (Like, I was still hoping at the end that they'd be together forever but yknow...). In any case, Jamie was just awesome. And her nickname for Dani? Poppins?! God, what a lover and fighter. She was not afraid to cock a gun in a ghost's face.

Merlin x Arthur aka Merthur - BBC Merlin

Yeah, my brain is so chaotic multiple OTPs and BROTPs of the same pairing exist at the same time without clashing with one another or having major identity crises.

I actually really like BROTP Merlin and Arthur and also like reading OTP Merthur.

And when Merlin is paired with Morgana or Freya or sometimes even Gwaine, that's fine with me too. As long as his bromance with Arthur stays intact, because that's what drew me to the show in the first place. Personal preference. I see them as platonic soulmates.

*Shout-out to the Merthur writers though, you kept me sane during my "Post-Merlin Depression," which is actually a term thrown around in the fandom because of that horrid final season (not saying it's a good term but it's what it was called). A lot of amazing fics here, too, both Magic Reveal and Modern AU ones. Full of action and adventure too! I mean, there are boy-band-looking Knights and magic-wielding badasses!

Tim Drake x Conner Kent/Kon-El aka Red Robin x Super Boy - DC Comics

More like flexible otp. I dig Stephanie Brown and Tim Drake BUT I really really also dig Tim Drake and Conner Kent. When they're TimKon, it's like an entirely different entity from TimSteph. Ugh, hard to explain.

I mean, Kon telling Tim, "You'll always be my Robin" and Tim telling Kon, "And you'll always be my clone boy" is the shit. Also when Kon could pick out/recognize Tim's heartbeat. And when Tim nearly went mad scientist trying to bring his bestie back. Like, dudes, wtf. And at the same time, hell yeah.

Liu Kang x Kung Lao aka LiuLao - Mortal Kombat

- I see these two as more like ride or die best friends connected by fate/platonic soulmates. But also like their dynamic is so awesome, cute, sweet, badass, can't-live-without-you vibes.

Basically the same way I feel about Merthur. I like reading both romantic and platonic relationships between these two characters. Like, the LiuLao fan creators peeling off the layers of this relationship and exposing every raw nerve is beautiful.

They love diving into the characters' psyche, emotions, motivations, fears, and doubts and you get really amazed because... Aren't they just characters from a video game, you ask? Well yeah, but MK video game has several interesting storylines and the Mortal Kombat 2021 movie was just the perfect jumpstarter to this beautiful blaze.

I mean, "We swore that if we were to die, it would be together"? Hell no, you're not dropping that on us and not expecting us to create our very own spin-offs and 12-page essays on that shit. That's what we fans do, baby. And also, really, we need a shaolin monks/white lotus spin-off/prequel. We're starving here.

As this ship is the newest one on my list, it's the one I'm looking forward to the most. Not enough fan content, I tell you. Not enough. One of these days, I just might add my own.

But right now, it's past 1 and so I shall attempt to sleep.

I feel like all of them would get a good laugh out of reading my blog. Tim would tease Damian and Dick would tease Jason because the two Batboys that act like angry cats are being written as love bugs. Haha. Oh dear, the amount of teasing Damian would get when the boys read Lovesick. I love how this request has my heart doing backflips. Suppose in some crazy reality, these boys find my blog...

Dick should be used to having a ton of people crushing on him so maybe he would find this normal, maybe not. I feel like he would get a good laugh out of it but ultimately think its really cheesy, but still somewhat accurate. I mean, he’s a sweetie-pie.

Jason would probably also laugh but maybe he’d be the guy to send in a message to my inbox. Something of a teasing comment on my work. “Thanks, I always thought my ‘sky-blue eyes’ were my best feature too. -Jason Peter Todd.” And I would want to hide under my bed and never come out. Lol. 😂Nothing I’ve posted here is smut or graphic...yet. so maybe the reactions would be tame.

Edit: My friend said this “Let’s be honest. Jason would message you and tell you two write more about his abs.” And umm... yeah. Listen, if I get a message in my inbox signed from Jason Peter Todd, I’m hiding in my closet. My heart will explode if that happens. I will be a puddle of birdy-bat mush on the floor and you will have to send someone to collect me.😂

Tim would blush a little. smile a bit. He would probably question the dialogue sometimes because “When did I say that? Am I really like this?” Yes Tim. You are and we love it. Most of the stuff I’ve written is sappy fluff so I’m not quite sure what they would take away from it but I hope they like it. Tim would probably question what is going on with the TimKon and TimSteph dynamics here though...

As for Damian, if he was 10-13 while reading my blog he would straight up hate me lol. He would probably stare in disgust and walk away but if he was aged up he would probably read it and move on with his life and become extra conscious of every time he says something that just happened to be in the dialogue I wrote for him :D I would have successfully ruined English for him. His brothers would tease him so much. mission accomplished. 😁

Duke will very much blush and they would all cringe at some point but I feel like since Duke has less content here so far, he would be laughing more at everyone else than cringing at his own fanon dialogue.

I feel like they would all eat up the compliments and detailed descriptions of their features because who wouldn’t love to be told that they’re hot? Okay so since this was asked, it reminded me of this one thing that is in my secret book that I might consider posting. If I posted it it would be my first smut so... yeah. The plot is that the reader was a fanfic writer and they wrote about Nightwing. In current time, they are dating Dick Grayson and it’s set up in YJ universe. Dick basically asks you to read one page of your fanfic diary and you read a fluff one but he catches a glimpse of another page that’s smutty... reads it...and then...yada yada. I’ll edit that out on word and if you guys are up for it, I can post it. What do you guys think?
