What Did I Do Today? #1
Today, I had maths tutoring (💀) and now I have a bunch of work that I can’t finish until 12am (written at 9:30pm, finished tutoring around 25 minutes ago). But besides the terrible sleep schedule I have going on, I’ve been doing work for English (literature), I have a close analysis in-class task tomorrow.
I actually left this unfinished… 🤩

I love how high school went from year 10 super strict to year 11 where my textbooks consist of swear words (English language lol) and the cats musical movie (legal studies)

I'm reading about how Israel, in the immediate aftermath of the 1948 Nakba, deliberately replaced olive trees and other indigenous flora with European plants. This ecological disaster, which is now proudly hailed under the banner of 'making the desert bloom,' was done to 'de-Arabize' the landscape, and to cover up - often with fast-growing European pine trees -the ruins of Palestinian villages that were destroyed by Zionists forces.
And I just need everyone to read this passage from Pappé, because the symbolism of what happened to those European pine trees in the desert speaks for itself:
The Ethnic Cleansing of Palestine, by Ilan Pappé (2006, p. 227-228.)

What Are Quadratics?
Note that in the Cambridge Mathematical Methods textbook (blue cover), the Property of Zero refers to the Null Factor Law. Since you have set the entire function equal to zero, you can use the Null Factor Law to get your x-intercepts by finding your factors of the quadratic.
