why aren't there more mysteries that take place in nursing homes & retirement communities. i want to watch a group of deranged retirees-cum-amateur-detectives combine their powers of:
decades of life experience
boredom-fueled busybody shamelessness
access to the most gossipy next-door-neighbors in existence
"I am too old to be arrested and/or give a shit" attitude
and solve crimes. this should be an enormous subgenre.
truly do not understand people looking at something with dynamic, colorful, beautifully stylized animation and going “okay that’s cool but what if it just looked like real life instead”
Alright fuckers if this gets 5 4 5 THOUSAND notes before midnight new years eve(Central American time) I’ll actually start doing the things that I want/should do
including:
basic self care
actually staying on top of chores
writing the mbalwjjsoqjjwillion fanfics
expand ALL my au’s
finish most of the art pieces that are sitting as wips
and more
WHAT THE HELL I LEFT FOR 5 MINUTES TO TALK TO MY MOM WHATAUWKJSJWJBDBNSA
NO MORE REPLIES
NO MKRE
ALSO NICE KUNG POW PENIS
yall really wanna make this fun
get this to 10k and I’ll start and begin posting a fic by the end of January
i joke a lot about being the reason for the fast car renaissance, but this is actually so beautiful and i’m glad tracy chapman got to have this moment tonight 🥹
ngl, I'm beginning to take issue with how in conversations about anti-intellectualism almost automatically, the face of girls and women will be slapped on the problem.
popping back in for a couple seconds, because I am obsessed with these two throwaway characters from the last new year's bit. I need to know more about this fancy overdramatic theater kid and IT nerdling's more-likely-than-you'd-think friendship.
(brb, building an entire mental headcanon around these random characters who will literally never appear again. they have a whole sitcom together...in my heart.)
