"Pineapple Pilferers" (2021)!

I'm extremely bummed that I only learned about #yeehawgust today... Ah well, next year!

I wanted to set the stage for future art and comics by sharing my first crack at bringing these boys to life! Original characters River (L) and Dawn (R)! (This was also my first crack at using acrylic gouache -- I don't consider myself to be much of a painter, but this didn't turn out too bad!)

These Cowfolx are the protagonists of a post-apocalyptic fantasy western that my partner and I have been slowly chipping away at. I'm looking forward to sharing more of these two!

Yeehawgust 2021: Midnight Ride Howdy, folks, it’s almost August, and I hope you’ll join in for Yeehawgust’s 3rd year!

Yeehawgust features daily prompts as well as alternative weekly prompts, for those of us who are a bit slower on the draw. Don’t draw at all? No problem!
