Valentine’s Palentine's Day Headcanons with Kate, Yelena, Peter & fem! reader.

Spending time with your pals is great, but when it's valentine's day it's sad special.

Y/N was the one to arrange a Palentine's night with her friends.

So, Y/N decided to make the apartment festive as possible with cute trinkets & bunting.

Yelena was the first to arrive with shopping bags brimmed with ingredients to make dinner & treats.

Kate & Peter arrived together also with a shopping bag brimmed with treats.

Y/N pulled out all of her boardgames & puzzles.

While Yelena was cooking, Peter, Kate & Y/N decided to play Mario Kart because the puzzles bored them.

When dinner was done they sat at the table together laughing & joking around.

After dinner it was time for Karaoke & a bit of a dance party.

Of course they sang the love songs to eachother because why would they sing to anyone else?

And to finish the night off they watched movies with their treats & crashed in Y/N's living room.

Overall the young avengers had a wonderful night together.

after taking down the red room, natasha, yelena, melina, and the other widows worked to free the widows still under subjugation. everyday, the list gets smaller and smaller, which they’re happy about but a lot of the time, the widows lash out. sometimes the injuries aren’t that bad, a scrape or bruise here and there, it’s bearable pain. however, a lot of the time, the injuries are worse like today, yelena ended up with at least five huge gashes wounds and that’s just what natasha could see.

nat is still on the run and even if she wasn’t, hospitals ask too many questions which lead to police. she also can’t get to melina because she’s too far, so naturally, natasha does the only thing she can think of; she takes yelena home.

home to her little family of fury, carol, maria r, and of course her wife, maria. except, natasha’s been no contact for 4 months and yelena doesn’t know about them.

for once, when natasha gets there, everyone is home and they’re excited to see her except you know, there’s a blonde bleeding out. a room in house is stocked with first aid supplies, it could double as a small hospital room. they take yelena there and everyone works to save her and yelena makes natasha promise not to leave her because she’s scared and she doesn’t know them.

maria’s obviously pissed. she hasn’t seen her wife in 6 months, hasn’t heard from her in 4 of those 6 months, and she’s here alive, but bruised. now, her sister could die and maria’s upset that she’s upset with her because natasha looks so scared and small, but fuck maria’s been so worried about her so she can’t help how she feels.

when it’s just natasha and maria in room (+ yelena who is stable and resting), nat does try to apologize because she can see how much her absence has affected her wife and she feels so guilty for putting her through this.

maria just breaks down and tells her that 6 months with natasha physically being there is one thing, but no contact is another. maria honestly thought she was dead, again. she thought she was going to have to plan natasha’s funeral, again. and she genuinely couldn’t handle that.

also, there’s a moment a few days later when everyone is sleeping except for yelena (she can’t help it, new place and all) and fury (does he ever sleep?). yelena doesn’t trust him but this isn’t his first time dealing with a traumatized, red room assassin, so he simply lets her lead the conversation because he wants her to trust him. it’s cute and yelena thinks that maybe, he isn’t that bad .

But Yelena did not move from her seat at your kitchen table.

Clearing your throat, she smiled.     “I will be coming with you. This ... this is dangerous.”

⭒ It’s safe to say the mission went well and through your time together feelings grew. It was pretty obvious as she did take a bullet in the arm for you. (She never lets you live it down.)

⭒ Yelena LOVES to decorate; it’s something makes her happy and feel like she’s expressing her true self. You didn’t mind; your tastes ended up being quite similar.

⭒ She’s curious about magic, and you show her your abilities. When you gain more knowledge, whatever you can do intensifies.

⭒ You make sigils for Yelena when she has to go out and work; you’re worried sick but know that your magic will keep her safer

⭒ You guys do a nightly skin routine together; you’re kinda like an old married couple

⭒ Pets! Obviously Fanny is thriving, you have a cat as well & a gold fish

⭒ Your favourite things to do together consist of movie nights/pamper nights, ice skating and crystal shopping.

Since marvel is making thunderbolts movie, here are some random headcanons:

Yelena brings soup in a thermos can to every mission. It quickly became a running joke.

Yelena throws knives at annoyng people, the only person it concerns is Hammer, the frequent target.

They all do the head tilt thing, exept Bucky, because of what Sam said in TFATWS.

Everyone keeps casually gesturing with weapons.

Zemo basically adopts Ava, besause she tinyy.

Ross (whichever) is totally done whith them.

Zemo gets really overprotective of the team, cuz they are the closest thing he has to a family.

Zemo makes emergency exits the second they get somewhere. Bucky has to drag him away bc they still have work.

Zemo and Yelena keep tellingothers they have to secure their stuff better.

They live in abadoned restaurant and then in avengers tower.

When they get invited to a superhero party and try not to blow their cover.

Guys getting really competitive and the rest of the team being fucking done with them.

Bucky, Yelena, Zemo and Emil are bilingual. They forget english words, discuss random stuff so nobody understands them and bring up random eastern europian popculture references.

Zemo assumes Bucky and Steve were dating.

Taskmaster still unknowingly mimmicks movements of others. Yelena says eating with her is like eating in front of a mirror.

Yelena tries and succeds in braiding everyones hair. Hammer resisted most.

They all share a single braincell.

Bucky: I didnt think Id make it this far.

If they start in a prison as a special government unit, they wont return from their first mission. These people dont want to return to prison once they got away, so they will take this in their own hands.

Hello, I am new to writing so go easy on me but here is a couple of headcannons for Yelena and Kate

The first one to say i love u would be Kate, blurting it during dinner or when they're watching movies.

Kate would then reassure Yelena that she doesn't have to say it back despite Kate's insecurities.

Yelena is suprised and doesn't know to what to do but once the truth sinks in,Yelena practices every day in the mirror but is unable to say it because the red room's training is ingrained in her.

Until some weeks later,she's able to say it in the mirror and rushes to Kate and tells her she loves her too.

Kate kisses her and they both agree to push their mission reports away and go on a full day date.

Mild rant on Alastor bc I'm tired.

I was going to stay out of this so rip to my inbox.

Does anybody remember the whole ace doxing list on here? The whole discussion of not shipping gay characters with the opposite gender? The rep for pan/bi representation and the steps to do it right? Does anybody remember when ppl on here discussed how aros and aces aren't a part of the queer community bc they're not 'gay enough' in a way? Bc I do. That was about a decade ago. And I remember when Alastor was first introduced in the pilot and ppl not accepting he was aroace back then.

It doesn't matter if Alastor is entirely aroace and if he's capable of dating or not.

What matters is we still have so little ace representation and acceptance, especially aroace rep, that a few years ago when a real person Jaiden Animations came out as aroace, ppl tried to destroy her, bc even with a perfect valid explanation of her just saying aroaces are their own thing and she just doesn't want to date, ppl treated it like she was lying or was trying to sneak into the queer community and was straight or all the other horrible things yall might remember "fans" did to her.

Alastor being aroace isn't about being the rep of "Aroaces can feel attraction!!!" bc be real honest.

How many aroace popular characters can ppl list that a regular person on the street is going to know? Bc I've heard all their arguments to invalidate their representation.

Jughead? Oh you mean Cole Sprouse who made out and got it on with Lili Reinhart playing Betty bc he found her sexy? Oh but in the old comics he's a gay character whose in denial. Yelena Boleva? Who? Oh that woman? She's hot she's just traumatized and needs to find the right person. Charlie Weasley? Oh he was only in the books? He was confirmed as aroace through a passive comment most ppl didn't know about from the author that never used the term? Luffy? You mean one of the most shipped characters in One Piece? No he's just an idiot/childish so he doesn't understand girls are pretty. Caduceus Clay? Sorry I didn't watch Critical Role whose that? Are you sure he's aroace? He feels gay to me.

I can list more ppl, but I'm sure most ppl couldn't.

I remember the whole discussion of the pan/bi representation argument of "Yes! We know pan/bi ppl can date the opposite gender. But straight ppl don't know about pan/bi nearly at all or don't accept it," so showing it as gay, who know the term more, until it's shown clearly the character is queer and not "confused straights" they then can have opposite gender attraction. Bc sooooo many pan/bi characters end up "straight" at the end of their show/book. Bc I remember when ppl refused to accept that Deadpool is pan bc of his wife and started freaking out when he dated a nonbinary person in the comics or helped that one genderqueer person he knew.

Representation is about showing to ppl what they're not understanding about the identity in the plainest sense of the words of the identity, then when there's enough rep to show they're not all the same, then you can have the ones that break the rules.

Alastor whether or not he wants to date doesn't matter. What matters is this whole situation blew out of proportion bc ppl refused to accept that some ppl don't feel comfy shipping him. Bc they see themselves in him and don't want that. BUT! Also ppl under the aro and ace umbrella also have no rep and wanted to see him breaking the stereotype they probs have yelled at them of "You can't have a partner you're aroace I forbid it" and wanted to see thru their own experiences how that would be done.

Here's the problem.... As someone who has read a lot of aroace headcanon fanfics as an aroace....... A lot of ppl who are allo don't realize aroace "crushes" are missing emotions... That's why they're aroace. And they'll write them like they're the same just "muted" or "needs to warm up" kinda thing. Or make the character's love "childish" to explain the lack of romance/sex. Which is messed up. And that's the problem here.

Alastor didn't need to be this blown out of proportion of a situation. The problem is ppl found him sexy and the classic "But aroace hot, they can't be aroace bc why hot?" discussion got brought back up without the gentle post format discussions and instead it was a lot of shippers on tiktok with tiny word counts arguing a complex issue.

Ppl should be allowed to ship whatever (except problematic I know yall too well), especially if they see themselves in the characters and especially if they have the same identity and want to explore that!!

The truth of the matter is this is such a huge issue that just keeps happening bc ppl are too used to fandom queer spheres where ppl already know aroace means "off the table" and so they want to play with qprs or grayromantics/sexuals not knowing what that entails bc there's sooooo lil aroace rep that actually explores being aroace and a lot of ppl don't know the basics, and even how very different aroace "off the table" is when you aren't the classic "uwu I'm just innocent and have no friends or importance to the plot so just ignore me and have me be adopted by one of the main couples as a 'kid' figure."

Not to mention that a lot of ppl still think ace means aroace. That aces can't date bc there's ppl who don't know that romantic and sexual attraction are different!

I'm just.... So tired. So very tired of having ppl shout at me what it means to be aroace and being unable to look up the lil aroace rep we have bc of this issue I've seen a million times is all.

a/n: No one asked but here are some soft post endgame Yelena headcanons <3 I saw someone come up with this concept and I wanted to elaborate but I can't find the post :( if u know what I'm talking about pls send me the post so I can give credit!

ok but hear me out. Yelena moving back to her 'childhood home' in Ohio and you're her next-door neighbor!

being the loveable person you are, you bake her cookies and bring them over.

and her being the paranoid ex-Russian spy she is. she throws them away.

what if you poisoned them? she's not taking any chances by eating the cookies her hot neighbor baked her.

she looks at Fanny, "Don't look at me like that. What if they poisoned those cookies?"

she would definitely walk Fanny just to wave awkwardly and talk about the weather you while you garden or read on your porch.

she would definitely make u cookies as a thank you for the cookies u made her, even if she didn't eat them.

I have a feeling Yelena is extremely awkward and dances around the fact she has butterflies when she's around you.

she wipes her hands on her pants because they're sweating like crazy.

you touch her arm? she freezes and stumbles over her words

I can see her randomly blurting out, "I'm gay."
