Yellowstone River Derailment
The Yellowstone River has been contaminated by a train derailment, triggering water conservation warnings downstream. On Saturday, a bridge over the Yellowstone River collapsed under a train carrying hot asphalt and molten sulfur. Just an overcast day in the mountain west. The first one is a sketch from my trip to the park near my place on the day before the floods really started getting bad. The park is on the Yellowstone River, so we went there to check out how high the water had gotten. On our way home we saw a Western Tanager in the tree outside our place. I couldn't get a good picture of it, but I found some good reference images so I could do a study of one.
