I see a lot of the Patrick/Ivan fans are sad, angry, heartbroken, you name it. And I feel you- my fav Elite canon ship did not end up together either. Then I started thinking and realized: This show is really not in the business of happily ever after. Hardly anyone we see in a relationship at some point leaves the show with said relationship intact. Once I obsess over sth, I can't let it go, so below you find all Elite relationships and whether the people involved were still together the LAST TIME we see them on the show.

The list goes chronologically by season the relationship started. Only canon, only people who could charitably be described as having a semi-longterm thing (sorry, Val/Rebe, drunk attempted hook-ups don't count), leaving out the abusers. If I forgot anyone, lmk. For the purpose of this, I'm assuming that the s6 finale was the last time we've seen the Blanco siblings.

My thoughts on Elite season 3 and Guznadia

I loved a lot of things, things like: 

1. Nadia’s and Lu’s storyline (even though i would have LOVE Lu to apologize to Nadia)

2. Rebeka! I just love her (If we have more seasons i need her to find love)

3. Everyone being there for Rebe when she was going to be expelled

4. Samuel’s and Guzman’s friendship

5. Guzman and Polo being there for Ander

6. Polo’s ending (How he was going to finally do the right thing)

7. Omar and his parents finally being amicable 

8. Ander being the voice of reason for his friends (His philosophy of living the present and not the future)

9. Ander and Nadia finally talking (Nadia saying he is her family)

10. Lu’s and Nadia’s speech ( how they acknowledge their friends at graduation and Nadia’s finally making clear she was on their side, even though that could jeopardize her future)

11. Nadia talking to her parents about NYC and that she was going even if she wasn't with Malick 

12. Guzman being completely and utterly in love with Nadia 

13. Guzman doing everything in his power to help Nadia with her goals 

14. Without a doubt this season my favorite character was Guzman, his character growth was lovely and i also love how he was so upfront about his feelings for Nadia (like always).

And things I definitely didn't love:

1. Valerio (Valerio was one of may favorite characters of season 2, this season he was just meh for me. I didn’t care about his storyline) 

2. Cayetana (this didn't surprise me, i didn't love her character on season 2 and I didn't love her on season 3)

3. Valerio not apologizing to Guzman and especially Nadia 

4. Valerio’s and Nadia’s friendship (I love their friendship last season, I would have love a continuation on their storyline) 

5. Omar being careless (cheating on his sick boyfriend with his sister boyfriend... WTF) 

6. Carla ( her storyline was boring, but i did feel sorry for her)

7. Yeray and Malick (I didn't like them, not one tiny bit.)

8. Samuel (I have never love him, and i don't know why. I just enjoy his interactions with Rebe and Guzman.)

On another note, let’s talk about Guznadia 

okay... I had a lot of things to do for my college courses so I wasn't able to started Élite until last night. I was excited because I was so convince that my OTP will FINALLY be together but now that I finished season 3 I really don’t know what to think. Of course I would have love more interactions between Nadia and Guzman but i’m not that mad about it, I’m just sad about the ending. 

It was a realistic ending and I love how Guzman didn't make Nadia feel bad for leaving him behind and chasing her dreams. But if this is the ending for them, if this is the last time we are going to see Guzman and Nadia, I'm completely disappointed, I would have love to see a more solid ending for them. Not an open ending.

On the other hand, if this is not the end of their story I still have hope. Hope that this is just one more obstacle in their relationship and that distance will only contribute to the epic love story of these two. If we have one more season I would love to see how Nadia and Guzman overcome their last obstacle, physical distance. Because they deserve it, they finally deserve to be happy and together. Because in my opinion, despite the fact that it all started as a stupid bet, this love story has proven to be the most solid and healthy of the entire series. They went from indifference, to friendship and then love. And even though both of them thought at the time that there was no possibility that they could be together, that did not stop them from demonstrating how much they meant to each other. How beautiful it was to see Nadia doing everything so that Guzman did not self-harm and how beautiful it was to see Guzman doing everything to help Nadia achieve her dreams. Their story has been a beautiful slow burn,  they took their time to get to know each other. They explored their friendship first and then explored the inevitable desire they had for each other. And that’s why I am not angry that their journey to their endgame is long because of all the couples in the series they have shown the best chance of success for the long haul. 

So, let’s hope for another season, one were Guzman can finally be happy, one were Nadia isn't afraid and hesitant to be officially with Guzman, one were we can see Nadia proudly telling her parents about her and Guzman, one were they are chasing their dreams together in NYC.

I’ve been having a lot of THOUGHTS about Lu and Carla’s friendship recently, so bear with me.

(Does anyone still care about the og Elite characters? Probably not. Is that stopping me? Not in the slightest!)

Carla and Lu are kind of opposites in many ways, but here’s one more: Carla’s big issue is that people always want/need sth from her. Polo basically consistently needs her as his pillar of strength while they’re together, then he wants her to come back to him, then he needs her to hide the murder. Samu wants the truth abt Marina, then he wants her to tell the truth in court. Her parents need her to be the girl they can pimp out to save the biz, Yeray wants her to be this vision he’s had of her for years, the ornament to show everyone he’s made it. Everyone always wants sth.

Lu is the exact opposite- her issue is that people don’t want her, or not the full, real her. Guzman doesn’t want her, not really, no matter how hard she works to make him. Her father only wants her as long as she conforms to this picture he has of her: Perfect student, perfect daughter. As soon as she stops conforming, he makes it very clear the family doesn’t want her anymore. Even Valerio pretty much tells her “I saw the person you really are and now I don’t want you anymore.” She gets tossed aside and rejected by everyone who’s important to her.

And the sad part is, they do this to each other, too. First, Lu is pushy to Carla about how she should behave in her relationship. She wants Carla to do what SHE, Lu, thinks is right. Then After Marina, she wants Carla to open up to her, be close with her again, because they supposedly were best friends before this (sth we don’t see much of but are told flat-out).

Carla doesn’t seem to really care much for Lu’s friendship anymore once she gets started with the throuple. And After Marina, she sends the clear message that she doesn’t want Lu in her life. She has to get rid of her because Lu would push until she found out her secret, so of course Carla cannot let her close, but Lu doesn’t know that. She can just tell she’s being rejected, again, this time by her best friend.

Carla always has all these expectations on her and Lu constantly gets the message that she isn’t wanted. That constellation makes it really hard for them to be friends, even without murder and secrets: Purely by virtue of their opposite situations, Carla is bound to be more dismissive w any “demands” she can afford to be, and Lu is bound to be pushy and demanding because she’s learnt that people are bound to reject her and she’s trying to counter it preemptively (subconsciously of course).

And that’s the heartbreaking Ballad of Lu and Carla.

Elite Season 3 Theories

“Next time you faint, I hope you smash your head open and bleed to death.” Guzman to Ander in season 2.

It was the first thing I thought of when I saw this picture, seeing the distraught and devastated look on Guzman’s face along with the blood on his hands. Plus the looks of absolute shock around him.

I don’t want it to happen AT ALL... but I feel Ander may get seriously hurt in a fight with Polo. The last two seasons have been building up unresolved tension between the former three friends and I believe the picture is the boiling point.

People who are missing from the photo: Polo, Ander, Omar, Nadia, Lu, Valerio, and the new guys= Yeray and Malick.

Now considering Valerio is kissing Lu’s forehead and there’s police tape behind them, makes me think this scene is after the picture above. But now that I think about it, it makes me concerned about Omar😭 because Lu is good friends with him. Please protect Omar and Ander at all costs!

The picture of the sheet covering her face is interesting. My first thought was is she going to die? It’s not out of the realm of possibility but I’m not too sure. So I wonder if it means they’re related at all??? (For selfish reasons - I hope they’re not because they have really good chemistry)

Malick -Nadia- Guzman... Omar???? When I saw the picture of Omar, Nadia, and Malick, the first thing I thought is this going to be a love triangle between those three? Does Omar know him? Is Omar being protective? Who knows? Definitely interesting stuff here.

I’m rooting for Rebeka and Samuel along with Rebeka getting to do more this season. I didn’t mind Samuel and Carla though. I’m interested in seeing Carla and Yeray.

Lastly, I found the placement of these two pictures interesting. Álvaro Rico said this in an interview “And Ander and Polo I think also will have many things to clear up, and if they love eachother or do not, or hate eachother, I don't know. But it's very beautiful, what's going on with Ander.” I feel really bad for Ander and this predicament he’s in.
