Paywalled firmware site vanishes without warning

The paywalled firmware file hosting site easy-firmware has suddenly deleted all files from their servers, instead restricting downloads "by model number and IMEI".

This is a perfect demonstration of what's wrong with paywalled sites like easy-firmware and its many clones - the content is volatile and there is no guarantee it won't get pulled without warning one day.

While we've been able to download a sizable number of easy-firmware feature phone files thanks to others chipping in to pay the fees, there is certainly still lots missing. Only time will tell if the files that were once available there will surface again..

I'm about to say something controversial: Pedro is a fine dancer, but he is always a tiny bit off beat, because he hears the beat, but he doesn't predict the beat with his intrinsic body rhythm, independent of sound. It's a slight distinction, but it’s the difference from being on beat or justtt slightly off. Your ear is just a tiny bit slower hearing the beat than predicting the beat based on rhythm. This is why he looks more on-beat when there is no music playing.

It’s like shooting a moving target: you don’t shoot the target, you shoot where the target will be based on the distance and velocity between when you shoot and when it hits the target. If you shoot the target, you miss.

I love Pedro, and he is good at so many things, so I don't mind he is not an excellent dancer. He's fine! But I think he'd be a little hard to dance with because he'd always be just a little bit off.

God Ikumi Nakamura's Oni design is so unbelievably better than his base design it makes me weep tears of blood.
